Phoning while Flying?

The FCC is considering whether to allow people to make calls from their cell phones while flying.  Many folks would undoubtedly find this convenient and a good way to pass the time on a long flight.  But what would it be like to sit next to someone (who may not be a quiet talker) while he or she is on the phone for hours at a time?

Would love to get your thoughts on whether the FCC and the airlines should allow talking on the phone while you're in flight.

Drivers, Quarterbacks, and Athleticism

No one would dispute the fact that Jimmie Johnson is an exceptional race car driver; he just won his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup title.

But former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb recently ignited a controversy by suggesting that Johnson - or any race car driver, for that matter - is not an athlete.  Johnson's response:  "Yes, I am an athlete. And so is every other driver in one of these race cars."

Whether or not you've raced a vehicle or played football, we'd like to hear your opinion!

Stash of Cash

If the desk he'd bought from someone else had fit through the door, Rabbi Noah Muroff wouldn't have had to take it apart.  And if he hadn't taken it apart, he probably wouldn't have found a shopping bag inside containing $98,000.

He called up the person who sold him the desk and found out it was her inheritance; she'd forgotten what she did with it.  So the money was headed back to its original owner.

We saw this as a good, "what would you do?" moment.  Let's say you found a large amount of money in something you'd just bought from someone - could be in a baseball glove, a piece of art, a pair of shoes - what comes next?
