That is so devasting that the storm killed that many people. I'm praying for the families of the deceased. I can't imagine going through something like that. That has to be hard. Pull together, Oklahoma, and stay strong.

Although this is a devastating event I think it just goes to show how we as a nation are strong and dedicated to helping out fellow citizens in need. That just proves how much this country is bonded in many ways. I hope all the victims stay strong. LIVE ON OKLAHOMA!!!

I was watching the news this morning. In one of the schools that was crushed, a woman was reunited with her son. That is a terrible thing that happened. But at least it wasn't a terrorist attack and it was a natural disaster. But, it is still terrifying. Stay strong Oklahoma.

I hate when natural disasters like this happen. I know that my family would be devastated if we lost just half of what the people in Oklahoma have lost. I hope that they can stay strong and get through these tough times. If they can rebuild their towns they will only be stronger than they were to begin with.

This is so devastating that so many kids were killed and, so many buildings were destroyed. So many teachers and staff from that school risked their lives and did everything they could to save those innocent kids lives.

The tornado was terrible, but we might have learned something from this tragedy. We could learn more about how to protect people and make buildings stronger so something like this won't happen again. God bless the people in Oklahoma!

I feel really bad for what happened in Oaklahoma. I think that if people can donate money to Oalahoma , i think they shold if they can. We should help Oaklahoma as much as we can because pretty much everything they had got destroyed and people died, so we should try to help them a lot. Plus they helped us for Joplen, Missouri, so we should help them in return.

The school didn't have safe room when they lived in the middle of tornado alley. But it is amazing what the teachers did to try to save the children the best they could. Also for all the people helping find other victims even though there house was destroyed. Residents that helped search for people and the teachers are heros.

We will talk about this about the way we talked about 9/11. I was crying about this while my class was doing CNN student news. Most of my family lives in Suffer,Oklahoma and tornado area. It is hart bracing to write so much. On 5/21 of this year we went home for thunder storm waring and a tornado watch.I can't imagine a tornado coming like that with the elementary schools like that. In class we take notes and it was so hard to write. If we get the notes bake I'm not reading it. I can't read the notes for hart brake. When we were doing CNN student news people were giggling. In a minded and hatred what person wold giggle about this. So many lives were lost and nine were kids like us. When I found out about this I was upset. We come together as a country and hath mast at Washington D.C. is a big deal. I what to start a thing for those who lost their lives which is to write More, OK 5/19/13.
Bless this town and respect the dead.- Madison

I felt that his was a heart breaking tragedy. I hope that we can learn to make buildings stronger so that we can keep people safer. In Florida, we have hurricane proof windows. I wish that the same way, we could have tornado proof buildings in Oklahoma and wherever else tornados are possible to hit.

A tornado is like a paint brush,
    sweeping across a canvas.
    Strokes this way,
    lines that way.
    Destruction in it's wake.
Pushing through ordinary days that are white. Monochrome.
    Leaving only color and brokenness.
The tornado throwing blotches and blots across the page like houses.
Picking itself up, just to drop again.
Causing more, more, more confusion and chaos
Less, less, less of familiar and certainty.
Until the hand guiding it decides to let the paint dry,
coming back to see it's greater meaning.

Our hearts cry for you, Oklahoma!

Unfortunately for me, I know about natural disasters. I've never gotten caught in one, but once, a tornado almost hit my city and once before I was born a tornado hit my town. I wish the best for Oklahoma and other states hit by the tornado, and I offer my thoughts and prayers to victims of this disaster.

This natural disaster was tragic for anyone who hears about it; and any donations to those people in need in Oklahoma is a miracle.

I lived in Ohio a northern state that got a lot of tornadoes and I know what its like to hope and pray that u don't lose some one in a tornado. I have friends in Texas and when I heard about the tornado I hoped and prayed every one there and in Texas was alright. They deserve all prayers and help they can get there. I wish u all there a good recovery and pray it doesn't happen again

We are told things happen for a reason, I only wish we knew what reason nature had to create such a disaster. I can only have faith that something good will come out of all the efforts and the awareness people have given to the issue.

It is so sad that , that had to happen. I have had a tornado happen in my town and it happened 3 years ago and we are still cleaning up it is so sad, because so many animals were killed and a few people. Our favorite stores torn to pieces it was so sad, my home town just torn to pieces. Thank goodness my house and my family's homes were not that close to it.

When tragedy strikes, it doesn't just affect those directly hit. It hits the American population as a whole. I know that we can team together, and we will get through this. I feel for you, Oklahoma. But, like in your name, we can make things better.

    We can make things OK.

Even though this is such a tragic, horrible disaster, it just shows how strong we are. It brings us together. America is such a united nation. In the wake of tragedy, we come together. One of the most proud moments- seeing how everyone comes together to help complete strangers. Stay fighting Oklahoma. We'll always be there for you.

All our prayers are going to Oklahoma. They most definitely needs all the support and prayer they can get.
It's most devastating to lose a home, a school, and loved ones. But all good things need a beginning, support, and encouragement, right?
    You can do it Oklahoma!!

I'm so sorry this had to happen to you Oklahoma. I hope you recover soon. You've gotta keep going though. If something shoots you down you gotta get up. Be brave and face the future. The East Coast is recovering from Hurricane Sandy, Newtown, Connecticut is recovering from the Sandy Hook massacre, and Boston is recovering from the bombing at their marathon. If they can do it, you can too. This just proves how tough the people of the USA are. Long live Oklahoma and the USA!

I feel very bad for Oklahoma. They lost everything in just one day. Two whole schools were wiped out in about an hour. After watching this footage I am thankful that I have food on the table, roof over my head and all my family members are well.
