You don't need to take a class in financial literacy to have a sense of how well you handle money. But how would you define "handling money well"? Do you think it's more important to save or to spend...and what are you saving for or spending on?

When it comes to saving money I prefer to save more so that you can save up for something you really want to buy in the future.
When I have lots of money, I tend to save it so I can save up for something BIG!!! I plan to save up for a new toy!
I vote spend more because if u have the money to buy something u really want it might not be there when u get back
I like to save money so that I can buy something that I really want, not just something that I want at that very moment.
I tend to save my money because you never know when it having it will be useful, or if you have to buy a gift for someone on short notice. Plus, it's just easier for me to have pocket money to spend on friends instead of asking my mom.
It's honestly better (for me) to spend more. There's a lot we all need to buy this very moment, like FOOD, and by saving money, we're giving the impression that we aren't going to use the saved money, ever, so why not just spend it now?
Because you need to be prepared. Let's think ahead. Say you've graduated from high school and you want to go to college. But when you look into your bank account for money for enrolling, your accounts almost empty, because you spent more money on the things like clothes. That's why I'm trying to teach myself to save.
honestly how will you be able to spend as much if you cant save? just a friendly thought 🙂 also, in this economy, wouldn't it be better if we could try keeping a balnce on our spending and saving?
Definitely save more. We all have to spend sometimes, but wouldn't you like to do it in peace, not having to worry about low amounts of money?
I say it's more important to save because then you could buy something you want that is expensive.
I AM VERY CONFIDENT BEING ABLE TO SAVE MY MONEY. BECAUSE THAT GIVES YOU MORE OPPURTUNITIES TO MDO THINGS YOU WANT.
I agree. Always good to save! 🙂
There is a stark contrast in the way people approach their health vis-à-vis their finances especially women. I know scores whose only effort at personal financial management is to marry a rich wealthy guy. But a man in no plan (more on this in my subsequent posts).
I tend to spend A LOT more money. I'm still young, and I like to go shopping. It's hard not to spend money, especially when you have more than 5 dollars of it.
I am with u Mariko. SPEND MORE
I think its important to save your money because you can always buy your wants later in life.
I think it is definitely more important to save for things like college and such, things that will really affect you later in life. Spending money on useless items like makeup or soda just isn't worth it. Unfortunately, I'm a horrible spender, and I really blow off my money.
I would save money because once I save enough money, I can spend the money on only things I need. I would not spend my money on video games. Sorry boys.
When ever I am givin money for any reason, wheather it's going to my friends or getting it for my birthday I always end up wasting it. It seems like students seem to spend more money on wasteful things. People need to start saving their money and putting it in safes or savings accounts. It would help us realize what we can do with the money we've saved.
I guess I spend more because of all of the things there is to do with sports and stuff
You would have to be able to control yourself. Yes you can treat yourself to a little something every once in a while but not to much or you may end up poor or maybe even a hoarder. No one wants that! NO ONE!
When it comes to me, I will always save up for expensive things to buy. It's a bad idea to just waste your money on anything you see interesting.
i would say that you should save your money and only waste it on the necessary
When it comes to money, I tend to save more than I spend. I don't get an allowance or money unless I find pennies on the street. I roll up all my pennies once a year and watch my savings grow.
I usually save money for the things which are valuable to spend on. For example, as a student, I spend almost all the money on books, which will be the basis of knowledge and moral.
I would save more so that i can by something that i will enjoy then to spend it all on the first thing i see
i believe it's more important to save money. Most definetly. if you spend more money, then well..you might not have the money you need later for something truly important. Save!
saving is more important to me because i don't need to spend at my age. i save for important issues like college and spending my loot in high school.
I think that i save my money and spend my money very well, it was because i took a class just like the one that was shown in 2/20/13 edition of CNN student news.
I believe saving money could be great because saving money can feel just as good as spending it.
I think "handling money well" is when you have a distinct balance between spending and saving, so you don't end up with no money or not enough things that you need.
I would define money as a "want". Hobos can do with out money. What about others?
When I get my allowance, I try to save a set amount of money before I start using them, but I still use more than save. I think it's more important to steadily save, than saving a lot of money at once.
I think its more important to spend money on going out with your friends/family because you never know what could happen tomorrow.
I like this in theory. It would be great to love life to the fullest at every moment but chances are tomorrow you will still be alive and still have bills to pay.
Compared to spending its immensely important to save your money. You don't necessarily have to save it for anything. You never know when you might need it for something. Its always good to have a backup plan in case things go wrong. I personally have two funds I'm putting money into, one is for emergencies and one is for leisurely activities or events.
I think that it is more important to save because I am saving for college and you will need more saving money in order to get past the amount you are going to spend at college.
My financial habits depend on my income. If I am making money, I will tend to spend more. If I don't have an income, I tend to save more and spend less.
I'd like to spend money than saving money. If you decide you'll save money, you'll saving and saving and saving for that! You can lose good chance to buy something incredible!
I think I handle money quite well. As far as the average student goes, I spend a lot less and learned how to save money from an early age for things I want or need.
I guess that I spend less than I save. But I cannot endure not using it for stuffs I really want to buy.
I get my weekly allowance and I save it for the stuff I really want to buy in the future.
I save mony. Because when I want to buy something, I can buy it easily.
I think it is handling money well when you don't overspend and spend too little. You need to balance it out
I would consider not spending a lot or not spending money on things you think you need but don't really need. For example, candy, you don't really need it but you choose to get it anyways.
Managing money is an essential life skill, it really isn't so difficult.
Start with piggybank
I am very bad at managing my money. In fact, I usually spend my allowance for the next week before i get it, just because I see something mildly interesting in a store.
I save money. There are lots of awesome things in the world that I really like ; and If I just buy things on the street that I do not even like that would be a waist of money.
I think it is important to spend your money because you could be buying the things you really need for school, or for a job you have.
I think it's more important to save money. Then if your young you can save for college, and if your old you can save for maybe a vacation or retirement. I spend more money then I save, but I still think saving is more impotant.
I tend to save more money because i only spend my money on basic necessities instead of wasting it on pointless things.
Most of the time when i get money i will try to save it but some how i always some how spend it on random things.
well it basically depends on what kind of mood you are in, and how much your bills are and stuff like that. Most kids think spending is amazing and that they have so much money, but the truth is that yes you may have $100 but that in our economy is worthless. Once you have money their is always a reason the spend it again.
It depends what your are spending on, if you are spending it on food, and things you NEED, then it should be okay. But if you already have that then you should save it for later when you need it.
I tend to save more for something I want that is worth some bucks like a laptop or tv. I'm saving up for a laptop
I think it is more important to save because you may need money later on and if you spend it all at once, you won't have any money. I would save my money for gas because gas prices a high and they may get higher.
I think it is important to save and you would be saving for college.
I think it is important to save rather than spend because I am saving for more important things like a car or collage.
I think that you should save your money because later on you will have more money to buy more or better things.
I tend to save more because I want to have a good future. I save my money so I can get into a good collage and I also save up for dance because I want to be a dancer when I grow up.
I think if you save more you can buy a house or a dormitory at college. But if you spend you have to save up again to buy what you want,so I think you should save more.
I usually save up my money to get a car or get into a good college but like when i am at the moll i usually spend most of it but not on purplish
It is better to save but when something comes out that I want I usually buy it.
I think managing money well means having a budget and sticking to it. That's a tough thing to do, but makes money sense.
I tend to alternate on spending and saving it just depends on what I feel like that month.
I tend to spend more. But since i'm about to go into high school i need to save more to pay school supplies and collage. It's going to be a big challenge for me.
My Chinese culture and tradition that I grew up in was all about being smart and saving so I tend to save whatever money I earn.
I tend to save more. In fact one of the only things I spend my money on is my cell phone bill. I save the rest for birthday gifts.
i think that its better to save your money so later on your luife you have money to spend on good choices that you make and so you can you it on things you want for example clothes , jewerly, car, etc.
I usually spend money on clothes..I really love shopping.
It's easy to spend money but hard to save it. If you have the self control than it will pay off in the long run.
I save more! I had not touch my money in 2 years. I got $200 in my bank and $59 in my wallet. Its "rainy day" money
Many people may think we have to accumulate money, but money exists for using.
Wasting is bad, but I think spending money to do what I want is better than just saving.
It's so ambiguous. I will SAVE money, and then I will SPEND it for traveling.
Not only do I think it is better to save, I invest what I save. I started investing in stocks and ETF's when I was in 14 and have beat the S&P for the last two years.
I think you should divide your profit. Spend half and save half. It's the best of both worlds!
I am better at saving my money because whenever I get some money from friends or relatives I put it in my bank and I think I have at least $200!
I save it so i can give it to people that need it.
My dad makes me and my siblings save at least half of what we earn in the bank. Although I could probably think of a hundred uses for that money right now, I'm glad that I will have money to pay for a car later.
i would save my money to go to college and by food
I usually spend half of my money and save half of it.
I always save half of my money that I earn and deposit it in the bank. I will need it since I intend to enroll in college and earn a masters degree in law.
I would rather save money because if i spend all my money i won't have enough money for college or for my convertible.
I am in the middle because i am like if i go to the mall i want to spend money but other than that i am pretty good with not spending my money. I pretty much save my money for like " A RAINY DAY."
I think people should save money even kids that get money for doing chores because they can get a good car, a good house and a good college.
hello carl the zues., i know not the question you have asked. but watching cnn student news i have never gotten below an A on the test...i have just been informed the question. i usually wish to save the currency that i have earned but something always comes along that bankrupts me...like an arcade..or a female homosapian. weel im gonna SAVE the rest for later, im gonna try not to SPEND all my time on this.
At First, Espically around Tax season, I would just go crazy with my money. Now That I am a Senior, This year I am going to use a Budget System.
I would divide the profit. I would spend half and save half. It's the best of both worlds!
I save money because i need it for my car and you need to save.
I save my money cause i need it to go to college and a car.AND for wen i grow up.
I whould save your mony so you can pae your bill's and buy food
Its easy to spend but hard to save, im saving up for college to add on or a car.
Save money. Spend it on what you need not what you want unless you have extra money
I believe I should be saving more than spending because you may need that money in the future to buy something important or save up for college.
I think it's best to save money so you have money in the future, though it is okay to spend money just not all at the same time.
I tend to spend more when it comes to money because I'll save up until I get enough for something then I'll spend it on it
Handling money well means that you save a certain amount for your future but you can still spend on things you want.I think it's more important to save, but also important to spend. Right now, I'm saving up for more clothes.
I save money in case I wanted to buy something on short notice
Well i dont have money. I usually just spend money on movies when I do have it but I think spending it on what you need but not not what you want is more important
Handling money well is saving your money for something special and not making any exceptions on buying something else. I think it's more important to save but only if you're saving for something special. I spend my money on clothes or candy because I love clothes and candy:)
I save more because I keep a wallet hidden in my house that I do not touch until the time comes to spend it. I take out $5 each week though to buy something thats needed thats cheap.
I tend to save more. Most people don't know this but I get $100 every month for being good. I have $500 in my wallet ready for anything. In my bank I keep any new money there and I get 1% interest each month. Last I checked I had $ 1050 in bank.
Its better to save more but I always spend it on stuff I don't need. It's hard to keep hold of money.
I save for many different things, but over all I am saving for college (Go U of M). And I think that handling money well would be saving for what you want, and not buying frivilous things that wouln't have long term use
Right now I am putting all of my money in the bank for interest. I am not spending now because in a few years, way better things will be out.
I think it is more important to save your money.I save my money and so far I have about 376 dollars all together. Saving your money could be helpful because maybe one day they come out with something and you want to buy now you could. I take about 50 dollars on a trip to where ever.
I would think it would be better to save more because when an emergency comes along or stupid college teachers are making you buy your own books its good to have money to be able to buy those items right away and not have to beg, borrow and steal money.
handling money to me means not flashing it around and acting like you have too much of it.
I think "handling money well" would be defined differently by everybody because everybody has different ways of "handling money well". I think that saving money is more important because you could have more money for what you want to buy.
I think its more important for teens our age to save more than we spend so when were older and in charge of a lot more money we wont have the impulse to buy a ton of stuff we don't need. I am not really saving up for anything at the moment, I guess i'm just waiting for something I really want.
I think handling money well means to save your money on something dumb and save it on something important. I like to save for something important in the important
.
A Good way to handle your money well is to save a little and spend a little! That doesn't mean you need to spend it on pointless things. I'm currently saving up for collage and a car.
Managing money would mean to save half of your earnings and spend half of your money. I may be saving up for an airsoft gun.
I think handling money well means that you don't go out every day and spend your money on pointless things and instead only buy things you need. I think saving and spending are equally important because you need to save your money in order to be able to spend it. I am saving money for college so that I don't have to pay so much money.
I think "handling money well" means that you don't spend your money on things you don't need or things you will never use again. I think it's more important to save your money because you can use it when you really need it. I save my money up for a car and gas money.
Handling money well to me is saving and spending... have enough to get things you want, but don't go over board and with whats left save it. I think it is more important to save so then when you retire you have enough to keep you a float. Right now i am saving for things for my ipad.
Yes it think it is good because we would be more independent when we get older!!!!!!!!!!!!
When it comes to saving money I am bad. The second I get money I pretty much spend it on junk, like Soda.
I think a good way to save is put it in a bank. I think it is even to do both because you could need the money now or you could need it. Something im am saving my money for is a new paintball gun.
i spend a lot of money when I shop and barely save any
I usually save more than I spend because I can never decide what to buy.
I like to spend my money. I like buying things that I like. Whenever I get large amounts of money I tend to spend it all so im not good at managing money.
i spend a lot of money because i wont nice things so i spend my money so i can get them. when i get money i go get new shoes are a hat or a new shirt. these things are what i wont so i spend a lot of money to get it but i save my money to get it so i save a lot
I prefer to save my money instead of spending it .Because i might run into something more valuable then just spending my money. on little things
I think I'm pretty good at managing my money. i don't spend all my money i save it. i save it because it will help me out in the future when i need something important
I save more. because, you never know when you're going to need that money you saved up for a something important like a emergency situation.
We need to spend more to keep the economy going,if we tend to save, then thats more and more money not being spent.Yes,saving does do alot, but spending does keep the up the slow economic build.
I'm not very good at managing money. Most of the time I spend a lot but don't save enough. But then I don't have enough money to get what I want.
I would save more because it will help me in a rainy day when i really need it
I spend my money when i get it.I try to save it but i end up spending it.
I will save more money than spending money because if i start saving i will be having more money so I can buy better stuff because if I save in if I want something that I like i will just buy it with my own money that is why I should start saving now.
I would save more because you can earn and get more money so you can have $500 . when i save all my money i get like $300.
I save more.I had not touch my money in 2 years. I got $200 in my bank and $59 in my wallet. Its "rainy day" money, but since i'm about to go into high school in 2 years i need to save more to pay school supplies and collage if i want to go
i would save more. and spend less. so if you save you can maybe get more money and buy alot of stuff.
I spend more! Because when i get money ,i just want to spend it.
It depends what your are spending on, if you are spending it on food, and things you NEED, then it should be okay. But if you already have that then you should save it for later when you need it.
When you handle money you should save money and spend it wisely
I tend to save my money because you never know when it having it will be useful, or if you have to buy a gift for someone on short notice. Plus, it's just easier for me to have pocket money to spend on friends instead of asking my mom.It is better to save but when something comes out that I want I usually buy it.
Sometimes when i get my allowance i spend it all in one day.But i learned that if you save money you get a better chance of buying something
I spend more money but i try to save it........its hard to save because when you go in the store you will always want something.
I would like to save more instead of spending money because if you want something so bad but you don't have enough money to get it then you might want to save it instead of spending it on something you don't want. I prefere saving my money so when I get into college I can afford it and have a little bit of money for something else.
i spent a lot of money. but i have 300 dollars i the bank but if it is not in the bank i spent quickly.
I never spend that much money but some people should save like some people.
I don't save money ,I love to go shopping and but a whole bunch of other stuff .I need to try but my duck self ain't gone save nothing cause i going to want to go shopping.
I spend more money because it is hard to save because when i save i always see something i want really bad and someday it might get sold out oneday and i already have money so usually if isee something i want i might buy it.
I'm young so its always hard to save up so, spend more. I'm always broke!
I sabe my money because after I sale my animal in county fair it's up to me to save the money I make to buy new animals for the next year. I realy don't have a choice but to save my money, if I want to show my animals next year.
When I was younger I used to spend more but as I got older I started to save more because I wanted nicer things. The last thing that I saved up for was a fish tank and it made me feel really good to know that I was patient and used my own money to buy something that I really wanted. What I am saving up for now are a pair of roller blades.
Isave more because I save by using my lunch box as a plastic bag and i save money from when i work and i have $180. I do this to help my parents by saving mine and while im saving mine there also saving theres so it works perfectly.
I save more I work so all the money i save goes to my wallet.
I enjoy to save my money. I save my money more than I spend it because I like to keep my money and wait to spend on things that I need more. I can usually wait to spend my money because I know that if it is near I could ask for it for my birthday or Christmas. I save all my money for the future when I need it for something important that I need not just if I want it.
i would save money because you will have money later in life when you go to college you will have money.
I save my money most of the time. Although if I see something that I need or really want I get it. I save my money from babysitting, but my parents make me put some of the money back in my bank account for emergencies so I have alot of money saved in the bank. I also have at least $100 in my penny bank and just a few dollars in my wallet.
I save my money until I find something I like. But I am going to admit that I spend more money thin saving my money.
I prefer to save my money. I get two hundred dollars a month and I try to save at least 2/3 of it. The other 1/3, I spend on things I need, rather than things I want. I tend to just automatically buy things I need when I see them. I plan to save up my money for things I might decide I want later in the future. For example, college or for any other educational purposes.
I am going to save the money I get for my allowance to buy or to do something else that can help my education purposes
i save more money because i can buy skylar a something!!!!
Our students taking part financial literacy as 9th graders and the rest as a full class their 11th grade year so hopefully fully prepare them for college and real life. The assignment where my 9th grade students track their expenses and the money that their parents spend on them for a month (including mortgage, utilities, transportation, entertainment, inc.) is surprising to most teenagers and they end up appreciating their parents. In 12 years, I haven't had a student under $1000 a month.
When it comes to handling money, i would save my money for something that i would want in the future and then spend money for what i would need like food, house hold items, etc...
I am big saver, its hard in my opinion to spend allot of money on toys and stuff. i like to spend it on things that will effect me in a good way such as a granola bar before school.
i do the same thing, every time i go to the store i bring money for just one
If you save more money, you will be able to purchase more things that cost money in the future. Plus, maybe those things will be cheaper by the time you're done saving.
Meaning that you can save more money overall.
I agree with charles if you save more the more things you can purchase important things in the future
Although I have to say save more, although I did just spend fifty dollars to buy a unicycle!
I would save money. Why would you spend what you can save later
I tend to save more money than I do spend because I get attached to my money and I'm usually saving up for something.
Well, I can't even save my money for a week with out spending a cent so i'm pretty sure I cant save my money for college good thing my parents take all my money from my birthday's.
I would personally save money because without earning money, you never really know the real value for money itself. You can save money for anything you like, as long as you have earned the money.
i think you should just blow all your money away. Because it doesnt matter. Money comes and goes.
i tend to be half and half with the money. Because it depends on how much money i am given. If you have more money in your savings account, then you get more profit.
When it come to money i tend to spend my money on things that i don't really need like gum, candy and fast foods. I am not really good at saving money because i always buy the first thing that catches my eye, It something i really need to work on
I think it is more important to save your money. The reason why is becuase pepole need to save their money and make wise investments. Even though I just spend my money soon as i get it.
I am totally great at money spending I love to shop for clothes and I love to buy candy . Im only 12 but I am going to try to take that class when I get into high school.
I save all of the money i get so that i can go to whatever college i want to go to when i am older.
Well, I try to save. But since there are a bunch of new things come out on sale & I just can't help it but, to buy it!!! It's kind of a bad habit that I am currently trying to stop so I can save that money for a better education and a home. 🙂
Well I'm kinda both ways I spend money and then save for a few months then I usually spend it all on stuff I WANT and don't NEED.
I think it is vary VARY important to save money so that way you can have more options or more opportunity, to buy a better house or car or get in a collage, I for one is a horrible saver I can't save a thing, I usually spend it on my sister to make her stop crying.
Just save half and spend half and then it will add up eventually
i tend to save more beacuse i dont have a car to drive me places and i save it for when i really need it.
I think its better to save money. You can save money by budgeting. You can always use the money you saved for a rainy day, emergencies, or for future purchases. I'm saving for a fresh new car.
I tend to spend my money on non sense stuff like food at school when I don't need it and I am kind enough to lend money to friends. But they never pay me back. But now and days I keep telling myself to save up for vacations and a new iPod, better yet an iPhone.
people should start saving money early so it does not effect them later.most people spend there money right when they get it and they spend it on something they don't need.
I save because I don't want somthing that'll come apart after a few weeks, but I don't like to waste money on expensive brands that can be mimed for an 8th the cost.
Saving up can help you get things you want, but spending it sooner is more for getting things you need.
Frankly I want to say I save more money than I spend but I really probably spend more than I save. My parents don't give me my allowance though, they keep a balance table online and track it there so it is harder for me to just go o it and spend all of it.
Sorry the o on the last sentence is supposed to say and
Save more. You need to save for collage! But it's fine to spend every now and then. 🙂
I would save my money because i would save it for my collge when i go up.
Handling money well means saving, not spending your money on unnecessary things
My mom makes me and my sisters spend half of the money we earn and save the other half.
I think it's important to save your money, because if you see something in the store that you want but you don't have the money for then you are going to save up all the money you get and earn. Like it you see a pear of sneaker's that you seen and they cost $90 and you only have $20 you are going to save all you money for those sneaker
When I have some money, I tend to save it, not to spend it, since it is more beneficial, considering my future.
I always save my money when I go to places with friends and family. It's hard for me not to save money awkward turtle
I never save my money I always append it on every thing. No matter how much it cost. I try to save me money but I seen so hard for me because there so many things that I see and I can buy them.
Any money that I get goes straight to un-needed things. I think there is just a giant whole in my pocket.
I am the kind of person who thinks and plans ahead. So, I do tend to save a lot. I have over 500 dollars in my wallet, used on nothing!!!
i like to save money because when i want something like an expensive dvd or video game or even the new shoes that just came out they are usually more than my weekly allowance
I save a lot of my money. Most of the time I don't spend any of it- it just goes straight to the bank!
I definitely am a saver. Saving money isn't easy, but I have invested in the stock market, and run a small bissness within my neighborhood selling my chickens freash eggs. I'm saving for colledge, and it has been fun!
I tend to spend more but I'm working on better saving habits. My parents fuss at me but I'm going to try harder.
I think you should split your money so you can save half and spend half. That way, you can still buy stuff, and still have money saved.
I think that when you save more, you can have enough money later to spend it on whatever and balance what you save and spend.
I tend to save, but I still by the odd thing if it's cheap and it's caught my eye. I'm saving up for college, but I buy stuff like baseball cards and football cards because a lot of the ones I have could sell for much more than I bought them for.
I think saving money is better. I just saved about 380 dollars and bought an iPad Mini.
Everything in stores is expensive! It's one thing if you have a job and earn money but when your still in grade school or middle school it's hard to save.
I think saving money and spending money are all important, but saving money have to be more than spending money. For future, we need to save money but if you just saving money and don't use, it's same as scrooge, who is very cold and mean man. So, to compare this in percentage, saving money must be over 70%, and spending money must be less than 30%.
I tend to save a lot of money, because I don't have much things to spend it on anyway.
I usually save more because I don't know when it will come handy.
I get two $a month and I usually save most of it.
If you save money in the end you will be able to buy things that you wont.
If you save money you can buy something you really need so like, my father would say" save now or regret later" .
I'm thinking its not that easy to save money cause its not easy to save $1000 dollars for collage.
I can't save money I try but I find something that I want and it is hard to handle myself.
I just love to spend it's a habbit you can't stop.
I think saving money is just a little bit more important then spending money because if you save money you can pay your taxes and have money for college but if you spend you could go bankrupt and
Its hard to save money but really easy to spend the money as well
I define managing money well as when you save and spend the same amount of money. When I was younger, I would spend more than save more. But now that I'm 13, I'm trying to teach my self to save more, so I can be prepared for the future.
when it comes to money i save it, i am saving it for my future college, even though i know its hard now, i realize it would benefit me in some way. no matter what happens in my future i will have at least a little bit of Money to spend.
I believe that one problem in America is people don't know how to manage money. People might say they are saving it, but they don't know how much they're spending. My mom taught me this rule. You earn a dollar, spend only 30 cents and save 70 cents. It's pretty helpful in case there is an emergency in the future.
I think you should save your money because you need that money to get into college or buy food for your children
Handling money well is like saving candy. It can be really hard but if you set your mind to it then you can save more money.
If you save more money, you will be able to purchase more things that cost money in the future. Plus, maybe those things will be cheaper by the time you're done saving.
Handling money well is saving it and not wasting it on garbage.
I save more money than I
I think that handling money is a good thing but for most kids its hard to save money because we have so many things we want. Also I seem to spend more money then to save because I like to go out a buy stuff i don't need just to have it. I'm saving up for a new dirt bike.
1.putting it in a bank.
2.I attend to save more.
3.I'm saving for a car.
I define handeling money well by putting my money in my savings account. I tend to save more money because I am planning on saving up for collage and a car when I am older. Right now I am saving for my own laptop which I am going to pay for myself.
I manage my money well by not going to stores. Every time i go to stores, i see something i want, and then i have to go back to get it.
1. I usually save more money then I spend because i don't want to be living on the streets i wan't to be in a warm home.
"Handling your money" to me is keeping track of how much cash you have, how much you've spent, what's the price of what you want, and what is really worth every dime.
I would save money if i actually made money but when i get money for my birthday or limited source i usually spend it. If i had a job or some other indefinable source of money i would probaby save it
To me, handling money well would be balancing saving and spending. I believe its more important to save money. I'm saving my money I earn to buy a jacket I want.
I would define handling money well by, not using it to get everything you want but using it for everything you need. I think that it is more important to save money because you can later use that money that you saved. I am saving my money for a car latter on in life.
I define handling money well as keeping it and not spending a whole lot, I think it is more important to save, I am saving my money right now!
I define "handling money well" as making wise choices with your money. Whether it is buying something you actually need or saving it for later, making good choices is very important.
I think it is more important to save money. Even saving a little at a time will make a difference. After a while, you can use that saved money to buy a car, pay for college, or even just to keep around.
I am saving up for college. I have my heart set on the whole "College Experience", and I intend on making it happen.
I think that "handling money well" would be defined as spending money for what you need, but saving some for your future. Now, it's hard for me to choose between spending and saving. I think there is a line between reasonable spending and just wasting your well earned cash. You need to spend money to get things you need, (food/gas/toilet paper...) But some people just can't settle for what they need. So saving your money would be more important. I am saving my money for things I will need for the future, like an education. I hope I will be able to save enough.
Save half of your money from your check every week.
It's more important to save.
A car, a house, college, etc.
1.)I would define handling money well by not spending it like crazy and saving some of it.
2.)i think it is more important to save money.
3.)i am saving my money for a car
You never know when your going to need something. Its better to have a little money than have none at all.
"To be perfect sell all you have and give it to the poor." – New Testament.
I would define handling money well by not spending money on everything I see in the stores. I think it is important because you can buy things that cost more in the future. I am saving my money for college
It's by far better to save money in my opinion. You don't want to be stuck in a rut with no money and nowhere to turn in case of emergency. It also teaches responsibility and self-control. A penny saved is a penny earned.
i think it is important to have a balance between saving and spending, because if you spend too much you may be left with nothing, and if you save too much you wont have everything you need Xx
Before saving any money, I'd rather stop spending habit.
If you save your money, in the future you can have a better life, or you could also save up for college.
When it comes to handling money, i would save my money for something that i would want in the future and then spend money for what i would need like food, house hold items, etc...
I usually go 50/50 with spending and saving. But i'm not going to lie, I do tend to splurge:)
I often save more mony because I work hard with my dad so i could get the things that i want so i save so when i see something that i want i spend my mony on it.
Most of the time when people save they get things that could be useful. But when someone doesn't save they usually end up buying junk that won't benefit them.
when it comes to mony i ten to sped more
YOU are wrong!
When it comes to money, I usually try to save as much as possible. It's usually better to save money, rather than spending it. If something were to happen, it's always nice to have money left.
I think kids need to learn how to start saving their money up, rather than wasting it on video games or iPods or something like that. That money could be spent to better use.
When it comes to money I mostly save it for something i really want or spend my money wisely.
I think saving and spending should be balenced. That way you get both.
When it comes to money, I like to save money because it allows you to get higher quality things that you may need instead of buying unnecessary junk.
Are you sure your saved money would be spent in a useful way? When it comes to money, I tend to spend it right away.
Spending money might look okay,BUT it is not good. Pretty soon you will run out of money. I only spend money on snacks at school. I just had my stepfather, put my money in the bank.
So don't you people who say "Oh, that is not wasting money to her , but it is . Selena, is wrong about saving money. She has no clue that spending money is super, super good."
WELL,YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saving money is good.
When it comes to money I spend more. I think it is do to the fact that I don't have a weekly allowance like my friends so, when I do get money I get really excited and want to go spend it right, then, and there
-Layla
It is believed that saving money is important. But sometimes, to spend on precious things; such as things for family or friends and so on... . Frankly, the reason to save money is also to spend money on more important things.
