What's on your summer schedule?
Summer is just around the corner. In fact, it's already started for some of you who have finished up the school year. So what's on your summer calendar? Is your family planning to take a vacation? Do you have a summer job lined up, or are you looking forward to just hanging around the house?
Here's a chance to tell us how you'll be spending the next few months.

I'm Going to Dance with my dance school La Dance at Disney. This is very big for me. I'm very nervous because I'm not a really good dancer and people have told me that too. But at Disney I'm going to put my all and prove them wrong. Also I'm looking forward to my moms baby shower!!!
Well i plan on working as a life guard. this is my second year as one. and i am also planning to go to Geneva New York for a Family Renuion, we call it the Massamiliano Days cause we stay there for days partying. my family is huge and we all have our own fun. we also plan on going over to Nigara Falls, to see the beauty sunshine against the waterfall

I'm going down to Kentucky to visit my Aunt Dorothy and see a lot of things. I haven't visited my Aunt since i was little so i'm glad to spend some time with her.
When i will graduate in high school in June 2012, i probably go to communty college to take Summer school because it is easy to me learning about every section what's i take. Someday, maybe i will take a liittle vacation to hang out my friend during Summer day.
Doing chores, hanging out with friends, and dreading school starting in the fall; the usual teenage stuff.

I have planned my whole summer with amazing and fun things to do. I am just old enough to take my gun safety, and actullay shoot with my dad. I have also planned of taking my first year of sycronize swimming. There is not just sports I am doing I am also taking a class of photography. Where we will have a lot of assinments to do and take pictures of.
I'll Be going to China, and I'll also be attending a camp back home
My father is in the military, and I'm going to visit him over seas in Belgium. I am also going on a road trip.Then I'm visiting our Grandma and Grandpa. I love summer!!!!
im going on a family cruise with family friends in the middle of june. then visit my cousins in texas for about 2 weeks
I'm planning to go to Mexico for my whole summer since it's has been 3 years since I've been there.
I am goeing to Washington DC to get an exclusive tour of the White House. I also am going strait to Paris after DC. Hope I get to see the President!
Band Camp, Virginia, Basketball, da beach, karate lessons, kite flying competition, baseball, making goulash, singing, going to hospital, toilet papering my own house, drinking coffee, writing my name, making shirts for every possible combination of day of the week/number of month, math homework, pop can drives, bonfires, climbing trees to escape monkeys (oh wait, crap they climb trees too), and other camps.
Wow all the things your advisory is doing sounds ausome. I love the band camp! Go who ever said that! I play the clarinet, bass clarinet (Bigger and lower sounding clarinet), Native American Flute, and piano.
I will be doing chores and helping ball hay. Also messing around the house

hi this summer i am going outside. im gonna ride my bike for the first time and get my training wheels off. i will swim. i have these sick floaties they have monster trucks. and best of all i will go have play dates with my friends . it will be the best summer ever.
Over the summer I am going on a week trip with my family and my best friend to a cottage at the shore. I will also be going swimming all summer and celebrate my birthday in July!!!

I got a season pass to an awesome amusement park, so I'm going to go maybe 750 times... minimum.
750 times?!?! You do know that a year is only 365 days and the amusement park's season is much less than that. Right?
I am going to have a very busy (and fun) summer. I am going to the beach with my grandparents for two weeks, Boy Scout Camp for one week, a sleepover or two and several days to play the camp that my mom works at. I will also be waiting for CNN Student news to come back!
I live in Gig Harbor, and I get to go to Washington DC to get an exclusive tour of the White House, Air Force One, and Marine One. I hope I get to see the President!
On my summer schedule I plan on visiting my father's grave in Colorado and visit my stepmother along with old friends. Also I plan on seeing if CNN Student News is on during the summer.

I'm planning to go up to Indiana and help teach a theater camp for a week, then attend it. I'm also going to be hanging out with my best friends in the whole world.
I'm going to see my cousins and just visit our older relatives and I'll camp, play video games, and poke my brothers. WHEEEEEEEEEW!!!!! I LOVE SUMMER!!!! WHEEEEEEW AGAIN!!!!!!!
I'm going to read some books and help my little cousins with their car so they could ride it... and I'm going to keep studying so I can do beter my sophomre year...
On my summer schedule I'm going with my family to Wisconsin Dells. We go there every summer and stay there for a few days. We rent a hotel to stay there and then we go home. We are going to go to a hotel and we stay there for a arrangement and other stuff. We also have our family reunion and we stay there all day and we meet the family and talk and have a lot of fun. I'm going to go to other states just to see them and have fun. That's what on my summer schedule.
This summer I'm goin to California then Florida then Texas then I'm going to Oregon. Then I'm going sky diving into a volcanoe then I'm going bowling. Next I'm going to Indiana Then I'm goin to Washington then I'm going to Atlanta then I'm going to Atlantic city to capture and destroy manbearpig then I'm going snowboarding into a taco bell.
over the summer i plan to spend time with my family and go to my little brothers baseball games and the imma be bisy playing football and im going to have football practis every day and i am going to have to go to summer school and then im most likely going to get arested over the summer then im going to go to the city with some of my friends and my mother is going to come maby and then im going to go to Tennessee with my grandmother and then i might go to my friends house to play some video games and eat pizza

My summer is all for having fun and hanging out with my friends, but mostly helping out. My friends and I are planning to do is to go to the beach and pick up garbage, go to the park and help build a swing set and volunteer in our community for some volunteer work like at the community center. We love helping out so this summer we are going to be going around our town to influence people to start helping out in our small community.

Just getting into trouble
Just looking to sleeping in and hanging out with friends and family who I have not seen
Over the summer, my family and I are going camping for a week in every continent. We hope to learn something interesting about each place.
my plans for the summer is to visit my family in Mississippi. Also i am going to see my mom because i haven't seen her in 6 years. I think its important to see her.
Over the summer I am going to open a hot dog stand. It's like a lemonade stand but we sell hot dogs.
My Family and me are just going to enjoy the sun and fun of the summer some may call this boring but i call it some of the best times of my entire life
My plans for this summer vacation is to wait until my grandpa comes down and buys me a new phone for my gift. also we are going to have a big party to celebrate my sisters graduation. last i"M just gonna stay home an get some rest for next year.
My plans for the summer is to try to get a job because i want to make more money. I might also move this summer so that will suck if i move because then I will not be going to Monte Vista. I might go visit my dad in Bakersfield. This summer both my mother and m sister have birthdays so we will have a party for them. That concludes my summer plans.

My plan is to go job hunting and work during the summer vacation. I am going to go to the beach this summer and work on my tan. I will also be sleeping in this whole vacation rand relaxing.
I will be Working on getting better at basketball, so i can be ready for varsity tryouts. i will also be going to the gym to get bigger and stronger so i can hold my own on the Basketball court.
This summer I am hoping to go to Disney World in Florida to spend a whole week with my family. I am also thinking of getting a huge get together with my dad's side of the family an my Mom's side of the family together. I think that we would have a fun time together. I am also going to start training for marathons because I'm a big runner. I'm already signed up for the Beach to Beacon in Cape Elizabeth, to bad it's not a marathon.
This summer I will enjoy spending valuable time with my family. My little sister and step-mom are from the Philippines and like to watch shows that don't speak English, so i will end up learning parts of a new language. Where I live we have a pool, so I will have a refreshing swim (EVERYDAY). My summer has already started, and I went to my brothers graduation a few days ago. I see braces, and new glasses in my future this summer.

I cannot wait until summer because I am going to West Virginia for a family reunion. Also my family and I go to an amusement park every year.
I will hopefully find something else to do other then firefighting, yes i am 14, but my town allows Jr. firefighters, and i do get payed, but I am hopping to find something other then that like working at my local club, or working at a wal-mart or something.
This summer, baskeball, surfing, tubing and swimming and anything else that involves water is on my schedule!!!

I'm planning on taking a trip by myself to North Carolina. I got admitted into a program call Duke T.I.P. I'm going to spend 3 weeks there living the collage life. With others kids my age and older.
I'll be spending 1 week in California, with 4 days in Disney Land, and i will visit Venice Beach, and go to a tour for Universal Studios, and the last day driving. Also I'm gonna move to my old school i had in the beggining of the year. And my Aunt is going to Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Cambodia.
I am going to California,disney land, and universal studios. I am also going to the pool and going to Colorado to visit my cousin.
A good portion of my summer will be spent just hanging around my house. Some other things that I'm doing are going to horseback riding camps and volunteering at my local zoo. I'll also be going to visit my cousins in Chicago.
I recently live in Germany for 2 years but came back to finish the 8th grade school year. This summer I am planning to go back to Germany to see my dad, visit with my friends, and visit some of the surrouding coutries.

I am from Louisiana, but have lived in the Czech Republic for over 5. This summer I will fly to my grandparents with my brother and stay there for two months.
I will spend my summer vaccation going to a lot of places, eatch one about a week. First we are going to our beach cottage that we rent during the summer. We go with my parents and my grandparents. Next I am going to go to a boyscout camp that makes us sleep in tents, cook our own food, and other boyscout stuff. Last of all I am going to a classic kind of summer camp where you get to sleep in cabins, make smores, and other classic stuff. So my summer is just full of fun stuff.
For summer I am going to my house in Cape Cod. There we go to the beach, hang out with family, and enjoy the nice weather. We also go out to eat at Kream 'n' Kone and get ice cream from Sundae School.
Golfing, fishing, and spending time with my family will be the top things on my summer list. Nothing is more important than being with your family during the summer.
Well I'm not entirely sure about what I'm doing this summer. But my family and I might go to the Smithsonian, that will be fun. Other than that I will probably be spending a lot of time on the beaches of Cape Cod.
this summer im going up north for one month to plant a garden and to take some summer classes with my grandma. Also i get to hang out with my friends.

This summer is the first time that I am doing a summer baseball league. I'm really excited to get better when there isn't any school to slow me down. I just hope that the heat doesn't get in the way. I lived in U.S for three years. But before I came here my family promised me that we will stay here for 3 years. The promised three year is this summer. I am basically going back to my old country Korea. I have a lot to pack and do other things. But mostly I will miss being in U.S and watching CNN STUDENT NEWS at 4:00 am.
I'm going to spend my summer in Marching Band Camp for the 2012 Central Cabarrus High School Marching Vikings, it's a lot of work but it also a lot of fun

Well, this summer is going to be great. I'm participating in a summer theatre program called iTheatrics. It's basically for people who are interested in a career, possibly, in acting. There's lots of dancing and singing. It's hard work but very rewarding. This summer, I'm also joining my school's marching band. I play the mellophone, which is essentially a trumpet but bigger. It's for french hornists in a marching band. The only thing i won't enjoy is the RUNNING...UGH!!!!!

I plan on going to Paris. Its suppose to be an exciting adventure with me and my family. I really hope to learn new things while in Paris. I'm also planning to do a little bit of shopping there! My family and I plan to also take a trip to Florida to visit family. Its going to be a nice , warm and full of new adventures this summer!!

My schedule is going to be kind of boring. First thing after school ends, i`m going to valleyfair with the Trio Program. After that then maybe most of my summer is just to stay home to help my parents with the chores. I might be going to California to spent the summer with my uncle and Aunt. 🙂
I'm going to a theatre camp in Idaho to perfect my already amazing talent of acting, singing, and dancing. This camp will help prepare me for my bright future on Broadway!
Summer is my favorite season!!!!! No school, warm weather, and just plain fun! This summer I plan on going tubing on my boat almost every day and spending as much time with friends amd family as much as possible. I will also be enjoying our local carnival and fair!
It almost summer! what I going to do in this summer is shopping, hangout with my friend, and also swimming in the pool in my backyard. I might going to celebrate my birthday at the Detroit Tigers baseball game. It going to be great and it will be the best summer vacation ever! By the way, my cousin will come over from Maryland to Michigan because were going to my older's cousin graduation party. It might be hot at the graduation party!!!! Oh! when it was it was night time. My cousins and I gong to Downtown Detroit for fireworks. It going to be really cool fireworks! That what i'm going to do in my summer vacation.
Contrary to previous years when I've been consierably lazy all summer, I'm going to try and utilize this year's vacation to round up some good experiences and try out a few new things. Certain leisures I hope to embrace include taking lessons for a string instrument, studying entomology, doing some filmmaking, camping, composing, hopefully enrolling in a county symphonic band, practicing softabll, and maybe one or a few creative writing workshops. Never too busy when school's not in session.
I can't wait until summer! My summer school is necessary so my grades in the future will be boosted extremely high. Summer is not always about fun and games, learning is needed in the future .
Im going to work in the gardens with my aunt to make some money! Then on my breaks im going to swim at my grandma's house!

On my summer schedule is something awsome...I don't mean to brag, but- I'm staying home. I know unbelievable! I can see it now- the heat, the depression, the sadness. Ubelievably I don't want school to end... Well how is that? Whenyour in school u wanna leave, but when ur done with school you run back with open arms. Hows your summer going to be? I know mine is going to be the worst EVER!! Oh, at leasst I dont have summer school – I think..................AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I am staying in the city, and going to summer school till July 27, then i will go to New Hampshire on the same day and my dad will pick me up. I will leave with my dad and my brother. Speak of my brother he is coming back next week and i am so excited.
This summer, my family is planning to take us to San Diego. We are going to Seaworld for the first time! Yeah! I just can't wait. We also might stay in a hotel over night.

Hi, I'm from South Korea. Well, this summer I'll go to Song Ni moutain. It's near from my home so it will take not many times.
Also,on 6/11, in our school we will go to that moutain for three days so I could know more about there.
My family is going to Florida to relax and just swim go to the beach. We even might take a couple surfing lessons.

This summer I will be spending two weeks traveling and doing community work in Japan! I raised all the money and was going to go last year, but my trip was canceled due to the tsunami. I watched it on cnn! So now finally I will be able to reach out and help the people who lost everything. And yes, I will be counting down the days until cnn comes back! =)

I plan on going camping on weekends, going four wheeling at my farm, go mudding with my awesome friends, go to a hockey camp, go to bible camp and my family and me and my family are going on a pontune trip with some really good friends!!!! I am planning on learning to wake surf because ever since I have watched the movie " Soul Surfer" I have just thought surfing would be alot of fun but I don't live by and ocean which stinks but there is this powerski jetboard that is out that is like $7000 that would be nice but I just can't aford near can my parents, 🙁 But oh, well my summer will still be a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then I will be going to Minnesota to go to the Mall of America and the Water Park of America!!! So excited!!! Hope everyones summer is fantastic!!!!!!!!

Making sure I have a break from school! Going to camps and going to pools! Having a break is what everybody needs sometimes like me.
I'll be Playing "Off Season" basketball, even though my favorite sport is football. And doing a lot of weight lifting, camping, and basketball camps. My family is like all for sports.

i am going to be a counselor at a local camp in the nighborhood. i will also be playing on a baseball team with some friends. i will play with the two coolest people also, aidin and cutler. i will swim all the time with cutler and stay active. summer will be a blast!!

For the summer I plan on seeing my aunt I always swim in her pool and have a good time. I also have plans to see my other aunt and rent a cottage by a lake. I always have a good time because I go off a huge rope swing at the lake with my sister.

Well, this summer is going to be great. I'm participating in a summer theatre program called iTheatrics. It's basically for people who are interested in a career, possibly, in acting. There's lots of dancing and singing. It's hard work but very rewarding. This summer, I'm also joining my school's marching band. I play the mellophone, which is essentially a trumpet but bigger. It's for french hornists in a marching band. The only thing i won't enjoy is the RUNNING...UGH!!!!!
This summer is the first time that I am doing a summer baseball league. I'm really excited to get better when there isn't any school to slow me down. I just hope that the heat doesn't get in the way. My family also has a boat that we are going to take out a lot. I am very excited to just have time to do whatever I want.

I'm going to Kazakhstan with my family to see my grandma and some of my cousins.If you don't know where Kazakhstan is let me tell you,it's under Russia,near Mongolia and the Caspian Sea.YEAH!

then im going to stay home with my mom and grandparents for the rest of the summer.
I'm hoping to relax and enjoy the fact that we have NO HOMEWORK! Yet, CNN student news has been something to look forward to.

I'm happy that I'm out of school. I will miss my teachers. I might go to a beach in Indiana or Indiana Beach. I have to practice my band instrument the baritone. I'm going to watch cnn student news every day for the summer. I will go to 4-H camp in Indiana on June 6 through June 9. Finally go to my sisters high school graduation on June 10 and Her open House on June 9.

For the summer I am planning on just hanging out with my family. I am hoping I have a really fun summer because it is also my birthday. I am really eager to find out who my teachers are for the new school year next year!!!
I have a full summer out and about. For June I will be saying goodbye to my friends because on July first I get on a plane to Greece! We have a stop in Paris before we go to Greece though. I know from your news the trouble Greece's economy is in so I've been saving money to spend. Then when I come back from my two week trip to Greece (did I mention that during the trip we spend a few days in turkey also?) I get on a plane and leave for my dads house in Florida. After my three week trip there I come back and leave on a relaxing trip to the lovely town of Muskegon on Lake Michigan for two weeks. Then I have a week to prepare for going back to school. This summer is all about TRAVEL!
Well this summer I am planning on helping farm with my grandpa and staying active. I am also going to do a county fair and showing my sheep and rabbits. This is what my summer plans are.
I am planning on going to the serving and passing session of volley ball camp, even though I can't run or jump, because of my knee. I am also planning on going to Flaming Gorge. Finally, I am planning on going to my other Dr. appointment for my knee, to find out if I have to get surgery.
I am going to go rodeo in the summer and work on volleyball. I am going to volleyball camps and going to my aunt who is a professional volleyball player and she is going to help me on my spikes and serves. In rodeo I am going to do barrel racing, pole racing, break away roping, goat tying, and extra fun activities. I also might be able to go to my great aunt in Idaho and go branding with my cousins.
i will be going two military camps with AFJROTC and then going on a mission trip to S.C.
I am going to be raising a steer for my town's 4-H program. He is a Black Angus I named Amos, and I'm really excited! It took a LOT of work to get him where he is today, and I still have three more months to go.
This summer I am participating in two basketball camps, working, and then packing for my move. I'm getting in shape for basketball for next August. We do conditioning and we work on shooting skills, dribbling skills, and defensive skills. I'm working at Bayburgers. GREESE!!!!! There, I cook burgers, make salads, make drinks, and run the till. I'm moving to Glasgow, Montana because my dad helps manage/owns and company over near Williston, North Dakota. It's going to be hard to leave all my friends.
I am looking forward to this summer. It will be a summer full of basketball, hanging out with good friends, and enjoying the sun. To me that sounds like a good summer.
I plan to teach my little borther how to fish, and how to ride a bike without training wheels. i might take hunters safty course so i can go hunting this fall, as well go salmon fishing with my freind zachery.
This summer I have a bunch of plans but mostly hanging out with my friends and family. I will be visiting Illinois to meet my family and friends. Hopefully I will go to the Wisconsin Dells, it is so awesome to visit. Then I have to deal with my younger brother on the ride there, so its going to be so much fun. My summer is going to be a blast. YAY!!
This summer i'm going to try and join a cadet program so I can become a police officer when I'm older. I'm going to spend lots of time with my friends and playing baseball. Also I'm going to build a shed with my parents. The thing I'm going to enjoy the most this summer is going to california for a couple of weeks to spend time with my grandmother.
This summer I'm going to see my mom, my little brother, sister and freinds. I'm super excited to go to the beach with them, roast marshmellows over the bonfire, watch tons of Redbox movies, and hang out with friends.
This summer I'm going to babysit. I am also going to eight different camps. The best part of my summer is going to be the Fourth of July parade which always has as a Fire Mens breakfast and a bunch of shops and the Fourth of July fireworks at Baby Burgers where all the kids role down the hill, eat burgers, sit on the dock, and watch the fireworks
I’m going to be spending the whole month of June playing basketball as a freshman. I’ve been waiting to play since I was young. I would watch my sisters play before me on my dad’s team and ever since then, I have always been looking forward to playing. I love basketball and I can’t wait to play and excel in it even more than I already have.
Well this summer I plan on working with my family and their business, then during the weekends I will go camping, fishing, hiking, and many other activities. I will also help out around the house when I can and during the first weeks of summer I will be attending many sport camps. I will be lifting weights to prepare for our high school football season.
This summer is going to be busy. I'm going to go visit my family back in Paducah Kentucky, going to be working with kids all the time, and getting ready for High School next year. I will be celebrating my birthday with friends and family in June!!!
I'm starting off this summer by traveling to New Hampshire for my cousin's wedding. I plan to improvise with the rest of the summer, but I know that there will be a lot of working, camping, backpacking, and rocking out on the guitar. It should be fun!

This summer I plan on doing multiple different things. I'm going to the Junior Olympics June 9, 2012. After that, i'm going to start weight training for high school football this fall. I will be continuing with that the entire summer. I'm going to be working a summer job at a ranch also. I plan on spending time with my friends and my girlfriend. I want to go fishing and hiking this summer too. i am also going to be attending sports camps this summer for football and basketball. I'm also going to play in Spokane Hoopfest.

I'm going to move to Washington D.C. and then visit North Carolina and all my friends there. Also I'm visiting my friend in Florida while we're moving to our new house. Then after all of that I'm visiting my relatives in New England. Between that, I'm going to live on a dorm with roommates for a week at Harvard because I was accepted into a program for kids 10+ I think. There are lots of different places to go in that program like Paris, England, Washington D.C., and many more. My mother and I chose Harvard so I will have roommates in a dorm and get tours of Harvard and peek into some of the classes. Lastly, I'll enjoy all of it!
I'm mostly going to be working and then maybe going to Canobee Lake Park and Hampton Beach with my friend..So I'm really excited about that!! Mostly cause soon I'm taking drivers ed so i can get my license!! But I know I'm going to have a great summer as long as I have money, hang out with friends, and just enjoy the rest of my two years of high school!! 🙂

This summer I plan on spending a lot of time with my friends playing street hockey and video games. I plan on helping out over the summer with my robotics team, and doing a lot of volunteer work with them. I also go to my cabin a lot, and maybe I'll even get to go to the Black Hills in South Dakota! 🙂
