As many of you know, CNN Student News has viewers around the world. Many have sent us emails or left questions on Facebook asking what they can do to help the people of Japan. A good place to start is CNN's Impact Your World. Go to http://www.cnn.com/impact and check it out.
Another thing you can do is to leave some words of encouragement for your fellow students in Japan. You're welcome to use this space to share your thoughts.
Donna Krache, Executive Producer
I Feel Bad for people in japan and i think we should do everything to help out.
Japan will be able to rebuild it self but Haiti might never be revived.
I think we can all pitch in, we can all make a differnce even with doating just a dollar or if you have to going through garbage cans anything you have to do to give back. I know if America was in this situation i sure do hope other countries would help us too.
This quake/tsunami sounds horrible. I heard it shifted 8 centimeters! The people in Japan are very brave. They should know that they are all in our prayers.
I think what happen in japan was bad i wish/hope for the best of luck.
I just think about what if that was the united states so i wish japan good luck and i hope anyone that has gone missing will be found.
I think that we should give the students laptops and a webcam so japaniess american teachers can teach over the webcam
This is a bad time in history for Japan. What I think we could all do to help out Japan is donate money to the red cross and just pray that all the missing are found and all the dead are in a better place.
Well, i'm living in Korea, a neighboring country with Japan, and it's sad to hear new victims, accidents, and so much of them updated every hours. It was a really massive sobotage.
I think the whole world should help the Japanese survive and rebuild. They need our help in this dark time.
I pray for the people who have lost their homes and who have died in this Natural Disaster. It is sad to know Japan gets a 9.0 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear power plant problems. Rest in peace to the people who have died. God bless.
What happen in Japan is a history event that will be remembered for a very long period of time. God Bless to those who lost their lives March 10th 2011.
I feel so bad for Japan and my thoughts and prayers are with them.
if fell so bad for the people of japan beacuse of the 8.9 magnitude and i know that bad!! 80+ aftershocks!
and we should be careful what we do beavuse one of our aid ships has been contaminated because of the nuclear explosion
i felt bad because how would they live like that.
I think the earthquake and tsunami was a disaster that was tragic but with the most respect is bringing our countries together.
Our school is auctioing off thing and all money will go to Japan
I am very sad that something like this has to happen, and connot believe the destruction that it brought. The devastation is just so mind blowing, my prayers go to those affected by this disaster.
All I can say is that this is the worst natural disaster I've ever seen. I'm glad that so many countries are taking part in this. I heard about the Haiti Earthquake and Hurricane Katrina, and in my opinion this disaster is worst than those two combined.
I think that all this is really sad! After that all happened another came the next day or so ! I feel really sorry for them in Japen!!!!!!
i am very worried about japan. so in school we are doing a bake sale and donate that money to japan.
what can i do to help? I feel reasponsabaleabout the equake .I feel so sorry about the Japan people.
I think everybody should help the people in Japan. See we all have our major earthquakes and what happend last year... thats right Hati's earthquake.
I think the disaster in Japan is very unfortuant. I'll be keepin them in my prayers for sure.
Japan is in a time of devestation, families and friends are still in danger. Even though times are hard, people need to pray and "smile for Japan". Make sure they know the world will help them through everything. Together we are one.
i just feel so bad for japan and would do anythingto help. the people should just hang on and things will soon get better for them.
I think what has happened is absolutely horrible. But i hope that we can learn from this. Like the nuclear plants i hope they will now have better safety.
I think there should be fundraisers and events to help raise money for supplies to be sent out to the disaster areas. I'm sure people probably need food, clothing, and medications to start getting back on their feet.
I think Japan should send out more requests for help because they're in a crisis and should get alot more help because for all we know or the government knows this could take 5-15 years or more so everyone needs to contribute.
I am praying for the families in Japan who have lost a loved one. It is so very sad that they would be hit with all of this. Our social studies and current events class has been talking about this conatantly. It is a very important issue. It is horrible that all of this would happen, especially in such a small time frame. I hope that all countries help Japan if they are able.
I agree with Jordan, Japan will learn from this and possibly they might have time to evacuate that area.
What has happen is a great tradegy that will remain a part of our thoughts for years to come. What we must do now, at this very moment, is stand up and help them in their time in need because chances are that they would do the same for us if it ever happened, hopefully not. Bless everyone in Japan and my heart goes out to all the the families and individuals that went through this catastrophe.
XOXO
I will keep praying for those people to maker sure they get food and shelter. I wish the people in Japan soon get back to normal.
I'd like to say at first, I really appreciate your warm thoughts. I have several friends who live in the Kanto region and the Tohoku district. I didn't manage to contact them, however, a few days later they managed to send me their text messages which said "we were fine!"
Now, we're in the dark wood, but I firmly believe we're rebuilding our country what it was.
Love goes out to those in Japan. This just goes to show the reality of natural disasters. Many people seem to think they're just out there, but never seem to realize the actual impact they have. Thank God Japan was as prepared as they were, who knows what could have happened if they weren't.
ithink it was terrible and i hope it wont happen again in any part of the world.
What happened in Japan was and is horrible, we all live on planet earth, so we may not be super heroes, but we need to start acting like it. Japan is in need so it is time to come together and actually do something about it, not just wish to.
I'm reading these messages in Japan. Really heartfelt! Thank you, everybody in the world. I feel you.
The people in Japan are going through a horrible time, but we can still see that despite all the chaos, there are people who struggle to live and have hope that things will work out. There is hope in every living witness of this disaster. This will all work out in one way or another.
I live near Tokyo and there still are aftershocks every once in a while. There just was one as I was typing. I really appreciate your prayers and concerns. You all are great encouragement to us.
First Kobe, now this!
I'm praying for you japan!!!:)
🙂
I know that Japan was the most disaster ready country ever. But no one had ever expected this to happen. I just want to say to all the people that lost loved ones and their houses that I hope I can some how help you and I hope you can all rebuild your lives as quikly as possible.
I feel really sorry for them, and I hate how the majority of people are focusing on the economic problems this will have on the world. They should be worrying more about the millions of people who are affected personally by this. Greed is a powerful tool; I know that nations aren't helping Japan simply for economic reasons, but you can't deny that its a big reason why most nations are helping.
Let's take a moment of silence, and give our condolences to everyone who has perished, been missing, or having a really hard time so far in this disastrous event. These people I've been seeing in the news since the weekends are hurting my feelings, and I will try, along with the support of my school, to raise $1000 to help with the Japanese Relief. I encourage everyone throughout the United States to help the Federal Government to aid the nation of Japan.
The Crises going on in Japan is bug but i think people should help
o provide food,water,clothes,and shelter.
Schools do some sort of activities to help the people in Japan.
I know the people are struggling with the economic problems but i still think we should all pich in and help in some sort of way. 😀
I'm Japanese student in Tokyo. The disaster in Tokyo wasn't terrible but people got panic. They buy up all food and supplies at supermarkets and I couldn't buy anything there. I wrote the article on my blog in English about our situation in Tokyo.
I am a Japanese university student in Tokyo. Here we have been experiencing so many aftershocks and the capital is still paralyzed, but things are getting slightly better. People in Tokyo are limiting their use and sending electricity, water, gas and other stuff to the most suffered areas in the Northern Japan, but what we can do within the country is very limited. So far we have received so many aids, personnels, donations from overseas and we really appreciate them, but thousands of people are still missing, incl. 500 foreigners, people up north don't have enough gas to heat themselves up, food to feed themselves, clothes to protect themselves from the severe snowy weather. If you could spare us a little more help and concern, we'd appreciate them more than anything else. Thank you.
And I also want to let you guys know I actually was saved by US Air Force. Your military is doing a wonderful job here with great hospitality.
I'm from South Korea and everyone in the nation is worries about Japan even when we had bad conflict with Japan in the history. Those who likes Japan's loss gets criticized heavily by many people
I'll pray for your safety before I sleep.
I'll pray for your food supply before I eat.
I'll pray for your rebuilt home before I leave home
Your coverage on the disaster in Japan has been exceptional.
Thanks for informing viewers on the pertinent points and excellent background knowledge on tsunamis and nuclear power plants.
thank you for your help for Japan, Carl.
i'm one of the japanese university student.
i experienced the biggest crisis, and still, my friend's family has been unfinded.
we, all Japanese people, inclding the prople who was hit their city from tsunami, need many help, aid, and support to live their live and to find their pearents or family or lovers.
fortunately, a lot of countries around the world offer their help for Japan. it is really thankful.
of course, i really appreciate all of the coments around here. i'm so impressed. they are really encourage us to live.
i'll read all of these coments.
It's always a global issue, if to a much smaller degree, when natural disasters happen. But the hope for this one; the world watching, sending aid, rescuers finding children alive... It's a really amazing turnout of kindness, if you will. And there's no doubt they'll be able to recover, but it's going to take some time. The areas around the nuclear plant will probably need to be abandoned. The thing is, the whole world is feeling the pain, the suffering, the economic crash, and therefore it's like everyone just had an earthquake or tsunami. We just need to keep their heads high, and not let then underestimate their country.
I think it is horrible they first had the earthquake then the tsunami. Plus all the after shocks it was devestating to citys and town. some comletley flattened. And then all the people who cant find family is devestating.
I NOW ITS A DRAG IN JAPAN RIGHT NOW,BUT JUST DON'T GIVE IN. TRY TO IGNORE WHAT HAPPEN EVEN HOW HARD IT IS.
I'm Korean, but I'm living in Japan right now, but our family's thinking of going back to Korea. I live in Kobe, which wasn't really affected, but we still felt the earthquake in school last Friday. Right now, families from our school are going back to their own countries, (I go to an international school). Right now, people that live in Japan are literally buying everything they could get hold of from the market for emergency. I live on an artificial island, so there's a high chance of Tsunami, but if you stay away from the shore, there probably won't beany damage. (I hope)
People in Tohoku which is damaged area by the earthwuake have tried to live in cold night without fire, lights, food and water. Im really really feel thankful for all over the world to help Japan. We never give up.
Its very sad that something like this happened, the destruction was so devastating is just so mind blowing, my prayers go to those who lost their love one.I pray no part of the world will have to through this kind of destruction again.I think the international communite"s responds are just too good.Japaness shuold take heart.
I really feel terrible for the people in Japan right now. They lost every they owned. Their job, money, family, friends, food, shelter and many more. I bet the in surance company will have a big problem after this disaster is over. Moreover, i don't feel safe either. 'cause currently I'm living in Korea, which is very near to Japan. Well, I'll going to make a 'Donate Jar' and in there whenever i waste energy, foodwater or many other things, i will put 10 cents. And when the jar is full, i will post it to Japan. Good Luck Japan!! Don't forget that many people are trying to help ya!!!!
I know not many people in Japan will see this but we lift our spirits for you and I want to help as much as I can
World disasters are striking everywhere. I do believe that Japan will need much aid from other countries in order to recover from the quake and tsunami. This is a disaster that will go down in history. Thousands of families have been affected, and the worst part... There are survivors still stuck that need help.
I am so thanksful for the U.S support and help.
I cannot feel ease even in Tokyo, not in north-east area.
But I am trying to do my best and help each other even if its power is small. Seeing these comments, my tears fall. I felt we are the one.
I can do nothing, but I would like to express our feelings like this.
I hope there is no influence of tsunami in Pacific coast area, please be careful..
Thank you for your mind.
I saw and thought what would happen if that happened to us? Would we be able to handle it? Who would help us?
We are really praying that everyone over in Japan will be o.k. We hope that you and your families will recover from this disaster quickly. We also hope there are no more aftershocks. Stand strong and know that we are praying for each of you every day. May our Lord be with you.......We sure are!!!!! 🙂
We love you guys, hang in there, it is always darkest before the light
I appreciate your concerns too!
I think that we should just have alarms! It would be our fault if we were late for school then.
I don't agree with Trevorm at all! Haiti will be riveved someday and I think Japan is in a worse situation. It will be very hard for the people to recover and so many have died or have not been found. They are sick, there are no vehicles or homes in that area, and the hosoitals are working so hard! It's not going to be easy to fix but if we help the other countries in need, they will be able to revive and live again.
I have looked thres some of the pictures on CNN News, and they are just breath taking. There really isnt much I can say, when i look at these. Im just in amazement. This is serious thing that Japen is going threw.
I have a challenge, that each highschool does some sort of fund rasier to help out Japan, in anyway. Raise money, canned food drive, clothing drive, anything. We have everyhting here, while threw whole world is crashing.
I am at a loss for words over this disaster. I couldn't even imagine looking and seeing this, MASSIVE wall of water just roaring toward you. I can just feel that feeling of sorrow as you realize what about my house? My family, friend? Where are they, and what has happened to them.
We are sorry for what has happened. We hope that everyone is ok.
i feel sorry for those who lost there childrens and those who lost there lifes...
Things will get better my thoughts and prayers are always with you!
I think it's time for everybody on earth to reflect in ourselves.
Over how many years did the human beings damage the environment? Maybe the earthquake and the tsunami in Japan are only a subtle caution given by our Mother Earth.
To everyone in Japan, I really hope you can come through all the tragedies you're facing right now because I felt really surprised when I see people in Japan face difficulties with smile and "genki", and that's really a great attitude when facing a big disaster. Hope god bless Japan.
Oh Wow,there's an little earthquake right here in Taiwan while I'm giving the comment.
what the us should do is help them get back on the feet right away
Adults are always thinking about economy first. I hate that when our neighboring country has been damaged severly by the quake. I really feel sorry for them. The only thing I can do is pray and write these encouragemets to our neighbors. I really hope that Japan will soon get up again and rebuild itself. I also saw that our neighbors are really kind to each other. I give you Thumbs-Up in Korea. Please let us see your kind smiles again.
What every body should do is travel and buy nice things and make cards for all those who were harmed. Also we should travel to japan to meet these people. :):):):):):):):):):):):):)
hi, I`m so,so sorry.
I hope the people in Japan will be alright due to the massive flood, and the earthquake. To many people have died due to radiation. So people be safe out there. I hope you guys all get to go back to normal.................:)
My school is talking about the things that have been going on with japan. We overall our very sorry for what is going on there. I hope that the people in japan will all be ok. I wish that they find the lost and missing, and bring loved ones back together again. We are keeping Japan in our thoughts and prayers. Hopeing everything will turn for the better. And hearing about the radiation, makes it worse. hearing about how people will die because of being exposed to that much of it, its just horrible. I HOPE THINGS GET BETTER! 🙂
keep your head up you guys hope you guys can find your families and it will be ok.
I hope those in Japan who have lost family and friends stay strong. We should all take a moment of our time and pray for those in Japan who have died and those who are hurt. Let's hope that the radiation problem is solved. We, as separate countries should form an alliance to help eachother in our times of need. 🙂
Be strong you`ll re build
If you beleive you`ll succeed
i am praying for u guys over there good luck
I can't beliveJapan is in ruins. I'm sure everything there will be in one pece agian. Our school is even doing a bake sale and sending the money to help Japan.
i hope the people can overcome what happend i am very sorry i wonder what i can do to help because every one should try to help you because of the desaster i feel so sorry for you guys hope you guys can stay stromg and live because you would no want no more danger
i hope all of u feel better . i hope that all of u are ok and i will do everything i can to help make it through it. i will pray for everyone in japan . were are all fmily and family helps each other. 😉
To hear about such bad things that have happend to japan is just horrible, i keep thinking what if that were to happen to another place in our world. what id another tragedy like this happens. how do we prepare for this again. Its horrible to hear about all the lives lost because of this and all who is missing
I hope u are all right. Never give up!! 😉 I hope that u guys will get better. Be strong, and I feel realy for all of you in Japan.
my class is dicussing how hard it must be to be in japan right now.I think its horrible what happend in japan and how much trouble it must be leading to with the nuclear power plant disaster going on now too. I cant imagin how horrifying it must of been to see the tunami and feel the strength of the earth quake and see the remains of the city flattend and destroyed.
I feel sorry for them, and I hope they can find all of those missing people. They should pray and try to find all of the peoples bodys are found that died, so they can see the bodys of people that are their family. I hope God can help them survive.
everyone has my prayers
hi i know if we all pitch in to help, japan can get through it if everybody could pitch in japan would be able to get through the disaster i know japan will be able get their confidence and could build their houses again and be able to live peacefully 🙂
i fell sorry for them.they had lost there familys.Ihope that they will find every bod's family in japan they sould go to church and move to a better place like michigan and live a new life on burton.
hope you guys feel beter 🙂
i hope you can get your houses back:))
I think the tsunami and the earthquake in japan is horrible and i just hope that everyone would help we could raise money to help japan they could at least know that we care about them. 🙂
I am a middle school teacher in North Carolina and my students are very concerned about the people in Japan. We learned about the nuclear plant and how a tsunami impacts a nation. Our thoughts are with you all.
I think Japan can pull through this because they're a strong nation.
I don't think that they'll struggle that much because they will always have the support of the U.S. nation.
I think what is happening in Japan is really awful. Even though its one of the most worst disasters japan has ever had, i feel that Japan, is going to be okay. Japan is one strong and smart country, and we need to support them in this time of need.
the crisis in japan was devastating. I would get supplies, clothes, tranportstation.PLEASE NEED HELP IN JAPAN, I WOULD GO TO JAPAN AND HELP IN ANY POSSIBLE WAY. FOR REAL THEY NEED TO START HELPING PEOPLE FROM EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD.
For those who live in japan, you are walking through fire and it is your choice on whether or not to get burned. Stay strong and use your strength to make it through this disaster like many others in your history.
To the people of Japan, Sorry for your loss. God bless you all!
I'm sorrey for the people in Japan.
Well im relieved that all thats happened is done. but also very sad and feel horrible for the familys that lose people in the disaster. I hope that japan will get the help that they need even if its from different colonies.
I think what happened in Japan was horrible probably the worst thing i have ever heard about Japan. I wish there was more we can do then raise money the only thing we can really do is help raise money or ship supplies because they have very few supplies , because they lost EVERYTHING,i really hope everyone that is lost will be found try and keep your heads up,i know this is a horrible time for Japan i will keep praying for Japan and i hope America can help Japan in a couple of ways instead of any, just a dollar a day will help. 🙂
I feel bad for japan because I know what it fleels like to loose my stuff.
I hope japan can rebuild and take care of the nucler reactor.
I am sad for japans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That`s sad, only good news is that most people are still living. I think we should all pitch it at help like sport practices for money to help or a donation thing. I just cant believe this happened. I feel really horrible and i know alot of other kids do to..
It will get better dont worry japan is awesum nothing can stop it!
I am sooooooooo sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dear people in japan,
hang in there. everything will be ok. just keep your head up high.
try your best to get through this.
yours truley,
courtney
hope love encourgement.
dont lose hope and move away form japan
I think we sould all help out Japan. We should give them some food and water.Atleast, we should a pitch in.
hope love peace encougement.
all i can say is wow....japan is in a horrific tragedy, and respectfully i shall tell how they could rebuild:
1.Try to build buildings tsunami-proof
2.Get the back-up generators built underground, to prevent flooding.
3.Always have a shelter to house at least a couple thousand people in case of an earthquake or tsunami.
We should help make these changes because they are our friends and no one should have to do this alone. 🙂
I feel sorey for Japan for all they whent thorgh with the earth qauck and sminey I thinck that the U.S. shoud help them by sending them some money so they can reey beld there bildings
Hang in their I know it is hard but every thing is going to be alright countries are helping you whith getting food and shelter so try to keep calm.
we are praying for you japan!!!!! =D
I think we should all help Japan in some sort of way no matter what that way is. We should all hope that everyone is safe and prayer for the families. Ihope that evryone is safe.
it will get bettr and for the pple tht died god bless
As well as that they need someone to check that powerpalnt quickly or there could be another disaster right around the corner!!! PLEASE BE SAFE JAPAN!!!! :)))))
hope love peace encourgement.
what's going on in japan is totally crazyyyyy!!! we should do all we can to help give food and water.
Everything is gonna be okay. It may not seem like it but it will!:)
I just want to say that I feel sorry for the people in Japan and that god is with you and to keep trying to fight the earthquake through. Im sure thier is a lot of people who is going to help everyone who was involed with the earthquake. God may bless you and God may keep you.
🙁
Your in our prayers Japan, stay strong!
I feel bad for yall because yall are going through a horrible thing and this disaster has done alot to your country. I kinda know what your going through a little bit because we had a horrible hurricane that distroyed our town. I guess what i'm tryin to say is that you just need to keep calm and everything will be fine.
i hope you all can get back on your feet i have to say i think wen shuold keep are own nose in are own country
The earthquake disaster in Japan is not good because of the nuclear power plants in japan. I do not live in Japan.
We hope you recover. We wish you the best of luck and hope the nuclear reactors don't get too crazy. We know that this stuff is really hard for you.
i wouldnt worry, the U.S wil GIVE Japan the money they need to pay for the damages from the earthguake, and the we will be deeper in debt, taxes will go up, and the rich will be lighting cigars with 100$ bills. oh well that life in the great United States. (><)
Honestly, some people think and say we are doing everything we can...Thats NOT true! We could be giving the food, clean water, and bring ANY other supplies needed! I do think that there are people that need to be found! People that are missing, BUT alive! I DON'T think that people would like to help as much as they wish! If you want to help then get alot of people together and start a group to get supplies you think they would need!
hi hope you are ok i cuoldnt imagine what its like down there i hope the best for all of you
sorry 4 what happend 🙁
Dear students of japan i hope you get better and i hope you get better good luck
Best wishes to you.Hope everything gets better soon.

I can not comprehend what you're going through. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless!
The Japanese need to know they are not alone. Its seems when disater strikes, we are all one. Japan is in everyone prays.
when I watched news, I really felt sad.
I know lives are very delicate, but this disaster is too cruel
we all should do anything we could do!
Cheer up Japan !
Have faith in japan.
Pray for japan.
I'ev heard that so mnay disasters have happened in Japan, 2 earthquakes, a valcano eruption, hundreds and hundreds of after shocks (some bigger then New Zealands earthquake) a HUGE tsunami, a 4 power plant explosions. Japan has moved 4 feet and the world has moved 4 inches. We all have to do something (like donating to the Red Cross) and saev Japan and their people. People have to line up at one small market just to get their food and water. Our school luckily has rasied the 1st day 50-70 dollars for the Red Cross. We all have to do our part to makere Japan safe. Please do something to help them! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Praaay for Japan!!!
With everyones help a little that could be alot of help!
I know people are stuggling there, it's very hard for them at this point
I am so sorry for all the people out in japan first the earthquake and then the tsunami i feel really bad for yall guys. Here in nc we look at alot of the videos from the diasters and are just amazed.good luck to all of yall out in japan.God Bless Yall.
if any person is complaining in canada they should be quit and donate for japan it is horrabel the earthquak(8.9) 300 after shocks 3 nucler diasters and demolishen 1 tisintimmi and the markets have barley any food and the docters havent gotten rest in a long time and i think some peopel dont know it until they show it. i wouldent be abel to be their throught that . throwing houses and cars like toys
Hi my names Kyra and I just wanted to say you people are amazing after all you have been through you are... I mean I don't understand one bit how anybody could go through that and be alive. people all over canada are helping as much as you can
First Japan gets an earthquake, next a tsunami, and now some nuclear meltdowns. What next
Send a dollar every dollar every dollar could send water food to those in need follow the crises on twitter facebook and many more please help the ones who need you. Don't you dare complain about "oh I need a big big house, and oh the cashiers to slow" think of the people of Japan.
A dollar a day, please help us this way!
I am praying for all of Japan. These people are experiencing events that I hope we never have to experience in the U.S. I have a lot of compassion for those directly & indirectly impacted. I am unsure how I can help other than contributing to a legitimate relief organization trying to ease the pain and suffering of all Japanese. May God ease their pain.
WOW, thats pretty much all you can say, is wow, everyone is tring their best so all we have to do is help also.
I obviously know Japan is having a serious crisis and I hope for the best. But all we can do is donate money and pray for them but i feel i need to do more but i can't. The nucular plants that are exploding and giving of radiation witch i'm sad about 🙁
Dear Japan I do hope that everyone in this country is doing all right. You people amaze me with all you have gone through. Please know that over here in Canada are doing all we can to save and help as many people as possible. You people are so brave and I know many people here in Canada could never be as brave as you people are. Evey one here is praying that ever thing will turn out O.K . Lets all hope the worst is over. I know you are all very scared of what may be coming but try your hardest not to give up on ever thing. We are sending r money to the Red Cross so they can help all you people in Japan. I would just like to say a small word of encouragement to the younger survivors. You are terrific and i am breathless when i see what you have all gone through and i promise me and so many other will never stop trying to help you all and i promise i will never ever ever give up on your country.
have faith for japan pray for japan.we can do something to help maybe even if you donate a dollar everything penny counts. But just remember what japan just went through we should all be happy.hope for japan, pray for japan . because they really need it.
it is prett tragic on what occured in japan i wish i could go over and help with the search of all the ones not found yet but i will wish them good luck
i hope everyone in Japan is O.K and is getting enough to eat and drink. We are sending as much money as possible to the Red Cross to help your country. We are praying that this is the end of this terrible disaster.
I am really sorry about what happen in Japan! What terrifying news! I will try my very best to help the people in need. If everyone can donate a dollar a day it would be great and it would make a big difference! I hope that this will not happen again! Many of the people are homeless and many are dead!!! They don't have food, shelter, clothes and water! I think that mostof us are very lucky! :/
I feel very bad about the earthquake and the tsunami that recenrly happened in Japan 🙁 Hundreds of lives gone away by that tsunami and now there are probably about 900 people alive. And if every one was able to donate money anywhere it would be an amazing turn out. But sadly, when Japan was at it's normal place on the map, after the quake and the tsunami, Japan got moved 8 ft to a different place. So now, there is no clothes, food and no shelter for all the living people there. GOD BLESS JAPAN ♥ 🙁
At My School we are fundraising to help Japan through this rough time they are going through because every Pennie Counts but we should do more than that we should provide food, water, Clothes and shelter And I know what you all are thinking that we know that we should provide this and that but really every little bit counts. I hope you think about what I have said and donate something you will feel really good about yourselves after.:)
why are people complaining about the weather here in Canada "i wish it would warm up" or "I hate snow". See people Just dont get it do they! we humans are so greety we dont notice the disaster going on in Japan, not only Japan other countrys to! People should just wake-up and Thank God for What we have. Like its disapointing listening to complaining when Japan just had an earthquake and tusami like wake up world!!!

Keep your head up, dont give up hope
I wish Japan the best of luck and hope they fix this terrible disaster that has happened. Keep Calm and Dream on.
i think this is crazy how the earthquake and tsunami hit in japan
The Natural Disaster In Japan Has Broken My Heart. I Will Carry All Refugees & Injured Civilians In My Prayers.
We hope you overcome this tragedy. We wish you well as students who may be injured. We hope that you can rebuild soon and get back to your normal lives.
Everyone is here for Japan, and we are all willing to help out. They need to stick in there. They are a strong country. I think they are will be able to rebuild themselves.
I feel Japan would be able to rebuild without any help from any countries, but we should still do everything we can to help them recover from this disaster.
Its like haiti all over again over time it will rebuild itself.
I think it is both tradegy also inspiration all over the world that Japan people show how handle and this diseaster. We all be prepare this diseaster with thinking our kids and family.
We are together in front of such disaster, no matter where we are, whom we are!
We will overcome all the difficulties and I am sure the future will still be brilliant and prospecting.
what we can do to help is sind midcole suplise to japen and sied can gooeds and sied red cros tens to soporte the hspitdols to japen.
I hope Japan works out for them who is in this problem i pray for all Japan people my hurt is in everybody pain. I pray for yall get yall houses back and stuff.
I want to help as much as i can, but its hard when you're only in middle school. This is bad for the whole world.I think we (the whole world) needs to help.Maybe if it is only a a can of soup to help its help. This world needs help.
peace,love,&
GRACIE
all of the people in my school are helping you by donating to red cross and food has been donated to help.
I think its horrible because. Everything is going down because of the flood and the earth quake.
If you lose something just be happy that you are still alive.
If my dad would let me i would go there and help i would use some of my money i got from christmas and my birthday to help. because i feel bad for them and i want to help
my thoughta about it is that im so speech less about thing that happen.
i wish i was there to provide stuff they need.
even though im young and cant donate money because i dont have any i encourage every one too.
i think that the tragedy in japan sucked for them. also i thought that after the earthquake then it would be all over, but it was not. then i could not believe how much damage the tsunami made.
I think that we should all work together to help Japan in their darkest hour.
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Good luck Japan!
I hope that all the missing are found, all the dead are in a better place, and all the suvivors pull through! It is a tragedy that the earthquake has happened in Haiti and now Japan.:( But I know that Japan will make it!:)
I am very sad and sorry for all the lives that were lost in the disaster in Japan, and I'm sad that the people that had survived might not have the things they had before all the disasters. I hope everyone will be able to get back on their feet.
i think that japan needs to find a way to find all the people and fix that nuclear power plant before that turns into something worse than just that. I also think that japan should evacuate to the other end of there contry. At least far enough away so that everyone can be safe for shore but the scientist should at keep working on the power plant i do think they are making progress.
i feel really bad for all those people without homes, family, or money. i hope they get better
I wish i could help as much as i could. Being a twelve year old, its sort of hard to make a huge impact . I will say an extra prayer for everyone every single night, hoping it will help. I could never imagine walking up the next morning wondering where my family is, or my belongings? I will now take a serious look at my life, seeing what i need and what i don't need for myself because i can't even imagine have it all taken away. I will put my prayers in God's hands.
I feel very sorry about the tragedy that happened in Japan!! All of the people who live their are probably very scared. That tragic disaster was very unexpected and it most likely wouldn't happen again (hopefully). Again i feel very badly about thee whole thing and i am just hope that everything turns out WELL for ALL of the victims!!!!!
i am so sorry that this happened. i feel so bad for the chrildren.
Wow! When I heard about the earthquake I thought that was the end of it, but I was clearly wrong. One earthquake is bad enough, but a tsunami is worse. I can't imagine how devastated those poor people are.
Hi I am Sam iI feel so sad for you. I don't even know how it could feel. I really hope it gets better soon. Everyone in my class feels so sad for you. I am sorry I can't be there to help you. I feel really bad for you and I hope it gets better
NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!!!!!!! Wish on a shooting star and dream. Your questions will be answered. Your heart my be broken but keep your mind wide open. My family will keep you in our prays. Just remember NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!!!!!
I feel really bad for all the people who lost their homes, friends, family, and even life. On CNN student news I saw a person who survived the tsunami and all he had were 6 items: a credit card, a coin, a dollar bill, two receipts, and his life. I hope that all of Japan and all the countries who were stuck by the earthquake and tsunami to regain all the stuff they lost.
hey people! i feel really bad about the tradgedy in japan and just wanted to say that i hope you guys recover from this quickly and dont let this slow u all down. best of luck to all families!
Ryan:)
I fell so sorry for what happend there. i hope u all get new homes and u can get ur lives back. Also a lot people r helping everone find family members.
the best thing to do right now is to know that the people in japan are under alot of stress and they have just gone through a huge disater as we all know and they need alot of prayer so if your not religous you can just think about them on a regular basis.
Thanks so much for all you guys do to help us as students
I will also try and encourge other schools to try and be out there and do what you can do to help these people think about how you would want people to help you if we had a huge disater.
i also wanted to tell elias i read your comment and you can help ask your school to set up a fund raiser to help the people none of you should feel that you cant do anything if you belive it you can achive it.
If you lose something that's important to you, imagine Japan
This is very sad. wish i could do something about it. I hope that things would get better with time. Anyone who's recovering from injury, get well soon.
i think that the tragedy in japan stunk for the they lost there homes and had different family members die and have to think about what will happen next
all the Japan survivors from the earthquake/ tsunami should be grateful their alive and O.K.
I think that people like us should do any thing we can to help Japan because thay have done so much for use and so we owe it to them. Pluse they have gone through so much with re-building after the bomb attack from us, but do you think there going to want to build it back up again.
i think that we should give all that we can to Japan becaus they give so much to us. And i think that also we should help them keep hope and encourage them to keep moving foward!!! 🙂
We are from Chicago IL, and we want to wish you the best. We know you have lost family and friends. We're keeping up with your status. We hope you find more survivors.
WE WISH YOU WELL!!!!!! LOVE IHSCA=]<3
I hope that many students survived. I hope that they are able to rebuild the schools soon
i hope japan get no more tragedy and also other countries 🙂
I feel really bad for the people in Japan that have been robbed of almost everything they have. It's really sad that a country that had been having a good time, where things seemed to be going perfectly, had to end so quickly because of the earthquake and tsunami. It's also really sad that there was no way to have a warning that there would be an earthquake so people could go to another place to be safe.
I'm praying for you japan, I pray that you are protected from any more natural disasters. I am praying for those who have a missing family member(s) and or has lost a family member(s). If i could could go and give my support and help those who cant help themselevs at this state, i would. But since i cant i am sending speritual support. But after everything is said and done be happy and thankful you have life.
I think this disaster was very unexpected. The damage is going to mess with the whole world ,but it is most definitely going to be a HUGE problem for Japan. I feel very discouraged about what the 8.9 earthquake and bulldozing tsunami did. If i could go on tv and get the whole world to do a fundraiser or food drive or something to help japan i would. A lot of good inoccent people died in that disaster and people are looking for lost loved ones. I will in some way help Japan.
When I first saw the news coverage on the disaster in Japan, I was horrified that such an awful thing had happened. So many people have lost their lives and their homes. "Why are there so many awful things in this world?" I asked myself. I decided that I would do my best to help the people of Japan, and I hope others agree. If you choose not to help them, just keep in mind that it could happen to you.
I feel real sorry for all the people in Japan, and I thought when the earthquake happened it would have a big impact on the U.S., but when the tsunami struck I thought they were done forever. I would love to raise money for Japan, but I don't have any everyone should.
I also heard that the whole island of Japan moved 8 feet. Now thats scary!
I fell so bad for all the people in Japan and I think we should do everything we can to help those people with no homes.
I fell so bad about all those people who have no homes. I am glad the army is searching for survivors and bringing them to a safe shelter so that they can slep there to.
What I think everybody should do is send tooth brushes and toilet paper and other stuff that you think you would need if you were in Japan.
It is really sad and it will probably get worse overtime.
i think that we should be able to help japan because they apart of this world and that we should help everyone in it.
I'm a Japanese, and I'm studying in U.S.
I realized how important Japan is for me. We can rebuild Japan because we did many times in the past. We have the power of unity. We belive a bright future.
i have so many mixed emotion about what happened to Japan. I feel sad for them because many people are missing or dead. i feel happy because i wasn't there in that situation. I feel as if i could hear them crying for help at night. overall I want to help them in every way i can!!!
I hope that the japanese remember to stay strong through this difficult time. Remember, we are doing all we can!
Dear Japanese Students,
We know what you are going through. We are sending good wishes and we know you will get through this. 🙂
From the students in Ms. Frankel's Debate class, Hillsborough, California
this is a bad case we should do more to help i hope this ends soon
I hope all you guys are ok. If you are with your family and friends about think about the bright side at least you have friends and family!!! people around the world are sending you resources and the the things you lost can be recovered just be happy your alive! i can't even imagine what the event would have felt like but everyone has a past...this is your past now move on.
I feel horrible for the people and families in Japan and around the world because they might not know how their relatives are if they live in Japan. Yet Japan is prone to earthquakes so they are better prepared. So this earthquake, though had a higher magnitude, won't be as bad as the one in Haiti.
I just want to know that i hope that you're people feel better and the best of luck. Our thought are with the families that are suffering in this time of need. Hopefully these disasters end soon, no one deserves to go through all of this pain, we are all sorry,
I feel so bad for the peopel of japan. And i wish ther was more i could do then donate & pray. i know the tsunami hit japan hard literle, but i also know it can rebuild itself. ( :
i thought at first wow thats crazy they will not be infected but when i heard this i was sad i knew that something has to be done and now they are but i wish the people luck on finding the people who is alive and their belongsings but they may not find their pictures of their kids and its the 5th largest earth quake in the world records
ever since i heard about it i prayed so hard i think i maybe the only one who is praing to help the ones in need i hope no more people dies or i am going to cry to much to flood my town everyone i see them doieing we need to help now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
This tragedy is so sickening because it has changed the course of many, many lives. So many peopple have passed, it seems like the disaster in Japan will never end. We all must remember there are survivors, and they have their heartwarming stories that encourage us to be brave, and keep on going.
My thoughts and support go to the people of Japan. You have endured so much over the past 100 years. Every time I see a Japanese car, I feel sad on the inside (which means that I feel sad a lot, because half the cars I see are Japanese).
i feel very sad and hopefully my family members and I can all pitch in. God bless Japan 🙁
I think that when all of us hear about something like that, that happened somewhere else in the world, it really helps put everything into perspective for us. I know someone who has undergone some serious flooding, but after hearing about what happened in Japan. And watching all those videos and live footage it really changed the way he saw his problem. It really over all is a minor problem compared to Japans problem.
IF ANYONE IN JAPAN READS THIS I HOPE THIS DAMAGE MAKES YOU STRONGER IN SIDE AND AS A COUNTRY:)
i think i would help Japanese people and the country japan if i could because if this happened to us, people all over the world would come and help so i say if i do my regular day but do something like donate to japan it can change everything
I think we should help them in any way we can! It's to bad that this happened to Japan. I think if we all pitch in, and send money, and food to Japan. I hope it only gets better not worst for them!
i feel really bad for the that have died by the cause of the earthquake in japan
My heart goes out to the people in Japan. Having an 8.9 magnitude earthquake is terrible enough, but having massive tsunamis following it is a total nightmare. We can only hope that all of the survivors can get rescued in time.
I feel so sorry for all of the people in Japan. I can only imagine what it must be like to be in your home one second and swept away by a tsnami the next.
My heart broke in 2 when I heard about the disaster in Japan. This is VERY depressing. My heart goes out to you guys, and I wish you the best. <3
It is my great hope that Japan will be comforted and given hope in a such a stressful, tense time as this. We are all rooting for you.
It is my great hope that Japan will be comforted and given hope in such a stressful, tense time as this. We are all rooting for you.
I will be praying for all of those in Japan affected by the tsunami.
I feel so bad for the people in Japan. My youth group and I were all praying for you guys last night and my family and I continue to talk and pray about you guys. One word of advice is never give up! Our prayers are with you guys!
No fears, No regrets, Just a future with a promise!
I am sorry to hear of the tragedy in Japan. We are all hoping for success in nuclear containment. The Japanese people are our friends and have our prayers.
At my school we are having a hat day where if you want to wear a hat you have to pay one dollar or more. The proceeds will go to american red cross to help. If you are in Japan right now Stay positive!
In the bottom-left hand corner of the webpage there's a little smiley. I don't know why it's there, but I'd say it's a reminder to SMILE down upon Japan! 🙂
I so glad that a lot of people are ok but I can't believe that the bad of thing happend. So many people are dead or still missing. I can't believe that happend I'm in shock just seeing the videos and all the talk about.
After hearing about the earthquake in Japan, my science class stopped and prayed for all of the people in Japan. My entire school and I feel horribly about the quake in Japan. We all hope the best for everyone in Japan and Hawaii. Our thoughts are with them.
I really feel bad for the people in Japan. I wish they were able to escape the madness somehow! If I had very much money I would so donate it to try and help the people!!!
we should help japan what if one day we have a major earthquake or a natural disaster wouldn't we want to be helped by the other countries in the world just how everyone helped in Haiti. ='-(
i feel bad for japan but what can we help with.If we have gone over we would probaly get infected radius.17 sailers have already been efected
I hope that Japan can fix what has happend. Its a real tragedy for the whole world. I feel really bad for Japan.
i feel bad for japan but what can we do to help.If we have gone over we would be infected by radius.17 sailers have already been effected
People who are doing things to help i thank in so mony ways!! I can not imagine what those people in Japan feel like, i would feel terrible, not knowing whats going to happen next!! I wish Japan luck i hope you can do the same!!
4 every one in japan we are all hopeing you recover as soon as possible and sending you our best wishes just cause tokyo electric cut alot of corners the whole country should't have to be punished 🙁
It made my stomuch hurt when i seen all the damage that the tsunami made, but that wasn't all of it a Earthquake come with it.I can't even think what that would be like to be in that situation like losing my familymembers and my houe being destroyed.
What i think is that Japan should keep there head high and just pray...things will get better in time it will not be like that forever.... i will/am praying for the best of japan.....I LOVE YOU JAPAN!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!! KEEP YOUR HEAD HELD HIGH!
It made my stomuch hurt when it seen all the damage that the tsunami made ,but that wasn't all of it earthquake came with it. I can't even think what it would be like to lose all my family members and my house being destroyed.
Our thoughts are with the people in Japan. I hope that we are able to rebuild their homes and cities.
you guys are all so brave all of you workers who are risking there lives trying to save the rest of japan by stoping the necular radiation they should have the people of tokyo electronic trying to stop the radiation its there fault 🙁 we all hope you recover as fast as possible =(
Stay strong and hope for the best! Yall will get through it I promise
i dont think any one can imagin how bad that is unless u are there and none of us want to be in that situation we should be doing more to help:( our best wishes 2 all of u extreamly brave people:)
HOPE:)
HOPE
I think that War should end. This gose to show you that you should'nt take people for granted. Because you never know when you'r going to loose them! japan god bless YOU ALL!
Dear Citizens of Japan,
I live in an area of Japan not far from the disaster, but I don't know what it's like. Here in this city, we are working hard by organizing can drives and donating toys and blankets to those who need them. Just know that my family and I are praying for. Take refuge in the Lord, repent, and all shall be well.
Praying for you,
Ericka
We all feel sorry and we all so help out by at least sending them food and money. We can also show Japan that we are there for them and I hope that they can get through the hard time and hope that god is with them.
Dear people in Japan,
We, the people of the United States and other countries are here for you guys every step of the way. We love and care about everyone over there and we want to help you at every moment possible. We pray for you every day and every night and hope things are better for every one of you.
We hope things are better,
Allyson
We are doing "Read for the Red Cross" where we read and ask people to donate money depending on how much you read.
If we saved Haiti, we can save Japan.
What happened in Japan is horrible, but what is most important is that everyone needs to stay calm, and through that simple action japan will begin to rebuild it self, with the help of everyone.
I am so glad they have rescue teams looking for survivors.
I think as a state we all should do what ever we can to help those people in Japan
Japan is on a Tectonic plate. Of coarse these disasters were going to come. Though it was a tragedy and caused great devastation, Everyone needs to get over the shock and needs to start thinking about their bigger problems with the power plant.
I just want to tell my fellow students in Japan to act as the students and citizens did when Haiti was in trouble, and just keep believing never give up, because one day may be the worst but you always have to remember a new day always has a fresh and good start. Don't let this tragedy take away your spirit show how strong you really are and if you keep believing good things can happen.
people lost their homes, people lost their belongings and people lost their families and everyone is stuck on that. If People don't start paying more attention to that power plant, those people that lost everything, will loose the last thing they are holding onto -life.
people lost their homes, people lost their belongings and people lost their families and everyone is stuck on that. If the Power plant gets any worse, those people that lost about everything, will loose the one thing that they have been holding on to – life
The crisis in Japan has probably scarred the Japanese but, I want to tell my fellow students all over the world that WE CAN and SHOULD do something to help out even if it comes down to passing out flyers that help notice to the world about how big the crisis is talk to your friends about it, heck even try starting up a conversation about it in class, all that is important is you care and are trying to help out. Lord Help Japan and other countries effected by this!!! O:)
I think we should help by giving them supplies such as food so they don't run out, shelters for when another tsunami hits Japan again, and back-up generators underground to prevent it from flooding. By doing this we can keep more people alive for the next time a tsunami hits.
It's just so terrible about what happened over there. I hope that those nulcear reactors don't explode because those poor people have been through enough already. I'm praying and I think the whole world is praying for Japan. I hope the Good Lord is watching over them.
This is a hard, cruel, unfair smack upside the head for Japan. It's something that scares the living daylights out of me and anyone living in Japan that this is what mother nature can do and how distructive she can really be.
The Japenese people wern't so lucky about what what happened. Me and my cousin are finding different ways to help out.
All the people in Japan are in my prayers as they remain strong through these tough times. We the people of the US will do whatever we can to help.
i think that it is bad. just think about it they've lost everything and everyone. They need to get back up on there feet and do the work that they need to do to fix this problem. This was a horrible accident for them but they need to do what is right and if they do they will get things done
I am part Japanese, and this devastating quake brought shock to me. The sad stories I heard about was all I could bear. I hoped, prayed, and donated. I wish the best and tons of strength to Japan. Stay strong Japan, stay strong.
My heart reaches out to those in Japan and to everyone around the world. this Great tragedy has affected everyone, My heart especially
reaches to those risking their lives to keep the power plant from creating more horrible things from occurring.
As someone who remembers Kobe earthquake in 1995, I'm very sorry about this tragedy and offer my condolences to the victims and their families. I hope my country will overcome it soon.
I'm not good at English.but,I want to say Thank you Thank you Thank you.
I appreciate for your kindness.
From Japanese girl
I'm from S.Korea.
Koreans are now very worried about situations in Japan.
people and celebrities in Korea are donating for them
and also praying for them.
i feel proud as a Korean about the fact that my country is helping them
even though my country had some bad feelings about them
because of the past.
Dear Students, I am so sorry for everything you have experienced. My thoughts are with you and your families and I hope that you will find safety and comfort after this disaster. I respect your strength and your endurance and your spirit. Kind thoughts and best wishes,

I pray for the love of my life, Greg, in Japan to be safe and sound! Come back soon my love!
i am from Japan and I thank you in all over the world!
People in many countries prays and donates for Japan. Of course, your massages encourage us.
I hope everyone in the world can take hands of their family, friends, neighbors and others whom they love.
I think that Japan is a place that needs help, if people can;t come together and help this time then when will we ever have world peace?
i think that Japan deserves us to help it and if we don't who will? The whole thing that we need to focus on is that we need to help them or we're no better than them.
I appreciate it that students in other countries are very worried about our country. It is true that Japan is seriously damaged and people are very tired and depressed, but we are trying to fight against the earthquake.
Thank you for your encouraging us.
From Japanese student
We wish you recovered from this situation asap. Recieve our support from Madrid we are really really concern about you and we send you our best wishes. 1º ESO D

In my Health and Human class, we are making a wall of hope for Japan. My teachers came up with the idea to build this wall where we can make little things like pictures or words of encouragement for Japan and post them up on the wall to show our support.
I hope everyone who is missing is found and I hope all the people in Japan are ok and can get great medical health.I also hope they can cool down the nuclear plants.
don't worry about a thing becuase every little thing going to be all right
sorry for what happend to u god bless
I think what happened to Japan is terrible and people all over the world should help out Japan in their time of need.
Dear people of Jupan
I hope you guys clean up and make a new country. I feel bad for you. I hope you survive this whole thing with peace. My heart is yours.
The tragedy that happened in Japan was a horrible disaster. Japan is a strong successful country and I think that they will be able to recover from this disaster, but as Americans I think that we need to help support and care for victims in Japan.
I am so sorry to hear about the damage to the people of Japan.
i pray for those people every night and i just know how strong they have to be so i would't know what to do if i were there
I am a middle school teacher in North Carolina and my students are very concerned about the people in Japan. We talked about what a tsunami was and how an earthquake impacts a country. Our thoughts are with you always and forever!
Iam sorry that Japan got hit. I hope you all will be ok!
I am sorry for what happen to japan but i hope that they are ok and that they are safe i will pray every morning and night.
Give hope to Japan. I hope it gets better! =)
i wish the young people of japan luck and i hope they all stay safe...cheer up japan america is helping.
I sympathize Japan for the huge suffering they're experiencing. I am just a student and could not help them financially. However, I could offer moral support and prayers for them.
Lord, we are your people, sometimes sinful and may not deserve your mercy. We are very grateful not to experience what the Japanese experience. We humbly ask you Lord to please bless the souls of those who unfortunately died and bless the other Japanese to help them recover from the disaster. Amen.
I'm from korea, many people in my country are concerned about Japan. We always remember japan's hardships. I'm praying for japan's fast recovery!
It breaks my heart to see the destruction in Japan. I watched a few videos of the tsunami hitting and it was unbelievable. The stories that struck me the most were how the Japanese people were orderly when getting supplies and didn't have the "all about me" attitude. I think this is another tradegy that will ultimately pull people together for the better.
I hope the napanese people get better and have the power plant fixed and hope they have supplies that last.
BE strong dont give up work together to get through this:)
try to be strong. we cant imagen what your going through were are trying to find ways to help you.
This tragedy is not just affectin Japan but many other countrys. This has made me start to think of what would happen to my life if this had happened in the US. I just wanted to try and lift some spirits of Japan, by telling them I have been praying everynight for them. I want them to know that their is light in this, turn to god and he will lead you through everything. He will always be their for suppport when it seems like no one else is.
i feel bad for what japan had to go through the flooding. there sending dogs out to find servivers. if i was them i would feel upset and feel bad. i can't imagen what you are going through.
We can't imagine what you are going through but in this time of need we must be strong for one another. We continue to hold out hope that loved ones will be found and reunited with their families. God Bless every one of you!
I belive that everyone should donate a few hours of there time to Japan. I bet that they would help us if we had a naturaul disaster.
i pray for japan and i hope that they can get everything under control and i think that everybody is making the right choice to get out of the contry i pray for everybody in japan.
I know japan is in some bad shap its going to take then awhile to get them selfs back on there feet. But till then ill be praying for you japain.
I hope the disaster clears up soon. It's up to all of us to help.
My heart goes out to everyone that has been affected by this horrible tragedy.YOU are all in my prayers.
This is a major disaster that has happened in Jspsn judt think if this happened in the U.S. it would be critical and we meed to help our fellow people.
I am so sad about Japan! Our school is donating baby items to Japan (ex. diapers, baby food, blankets) for babies who lost everything in the earthquake/tsunami. We are also making 2,000 paper cranes to send to Japan, since paper cranes symbolize life, luck, recovery, and things like that. I really hope Japan recovers soon. I am so worried, kids from our school are moving back to Japan soon, and I am scared for them. I wish Japan the best of luck!
After I saw the news about the tragedy in Japan,
I couldn't easily fall asleep at night.
I'm sad for those victims,
and I'm also worried :
if the same disaster happens to Taiwan,
what can we do ?
I can't image it.Taiwan is similar to Japan in MANY ways.
On the same seismic belt.
Having 4 nuclear power plants.
Are we ready to face the fact?
As a survivor of Japan catastrophe, you don't have right to cry but help other survivors. Now, the crisis is not over, please keep fighting for your life. We, all human beings, stand with you.
On behalf of all Japanese, I want to say thank you for all of your helps. Even though we are still facing a lot of crises, I believe we can overcome them soon. All your comments encourage us and all your helps save many many many people in Japan.
Thank you again.
Thank you so much for giving a lot of prays.
I live in yokohama.I was so surprised an earthquake.
And big aftershocks still continue, so I can't sleep well.
I worry about safety of the main disaster area.
We can help each other and keep our strong heart.
I hope we can get over and make bright future.
I'm writing from Tokyo Japan.
I appreiate that a lot of people pray for us.
All the comments above encourage us.
There're happening a lot of horrible things simultaneously.
What I am scared is that there's still consecutive small earthquakes happening at many place in Japan.
Hope a second impact will never happen
Anyway, our sprit will never be spoiled and never be lost in spite of this disaster.
in japan are some people i know i think we should help them i talked to my mom iwant to go to the country and help im saving up money for japan i am also going to do a bake sell i pray for you before i do any rthing i can do that you cant really do know

We hope things get better each day and that countries will continue to come together as one to aid in your time of need.
I hope fore the hospital to save as many patents as they can,
I hope the pants get fixed, and i will do everything i can to help with the disaster. Hope japan recovers:)
I'm from California and I hope Japan recovers fast. I know the U.S. has had its difficulties, but our school is helping gather supplies. Most of the local business are helping by donating tooth brushes and other important thing you need to rebuild your life. Hang in there it can only go uphill from there.
I have started a blanket drive in Palm Coast, FL. The response has been amazing. We are collecting blankets and baby supplies to be shipped to the victims in Japan by Mission Harvest America. It all started when my brother's aircraft carrier the George Washington in Atsugi, Japan asked for blanket donations because they were desperately needed. I posted it on Facebook, hoping to get some friends to donate a blanket. Now we have the schools, churches, businesses and the entire community involved. Look for our page on Facebook and think about what you can do to help.

I feel sad for all the people in Japan, I would like to tell all of them to continue to pray to our lady of Akita, she will help all of you . This is what our Lady told Sr Agnes from Akita, to pray.
I pray too to her to help the people of Japan.
I hope that everyone will be able to recover from this tragedy. I feel so lucky, my school is going to local community businesses to get donations for the families in Japan. The people in Japan are very brave and courages. Remember there is light out there no matter how dark it is now.
I feel bad for the people who have lost their lives, homes, and loved ones. I think we can help by donating as much money and supplies as we can afford.
I'm from Tahoe California. Our school is going around to different businesses to ask if they will donate. I am praying that Japan will recover from this disaster.
These tragic events have broken many hearts, and taken many lives, but there is still hope. They need help and love. So please help those in need. If disaster can beat us then we are nothing. Please love, give and believe.
HOPE if we have hope we will make it.Your life may be torn apart but we can still put it back together. Even thought you may not feel like it you are very brave and strong.
Everybody freaking out that the earthquake, tsunami, whirpool, and meltdown destroyed everything. But they forget about the most important thing... love! The disaster strengthened the love, it was the only the thing that wasn't lost. It wasn't just the people in Japan whose love was strengthened, but everybody around the world too! Just look at their actions, helping them by sending them supplies and raising money. Good things come from bad things.
The tragedy was horrible and I hope everybody is safe and in good hands. My school is going to go to some of our local stores and collecting supplies for Japan. We all hope each and every family is doing well. There is still hope and love so don't give up!
i put $599.99 cents in for japan you can help to thank you cnn news for the imformation you give us
My school is going to local businesses and asking for donations to send to Japan. We think what happened is really terrible. We are also sending toys for some of the kids to help them rebuild their lives. I hope the remaining survivors are found and i hope that everyones lives get put back together.
Best of Wishes,
Marley
I feel very bad for children and adults that are living the tsunami and earthquake in Japan. My class is going to local community business to ask for donations. We will send the donations to Japan with a disaster relief organization. I really think people should evacuate the area that the nuclear power plant is in. I think all people in the world should kick in and help. I hope this is a wake up call for all countries in the world.
Best Wishes,
Zayne
I believe Japan needs as much help as we can give it, during this tragic time. When it first happened, not many students in my school knew until CNN Student News did the show about the tragic event. I'm hoping the death toll quits rising and the survivors bar continues to grow. I would even join the rescue troops, as in experienced as I am, to save as many people as possible.
But even more so do I hope that rescue teams will save people on time, because in a situation like this... It takes a second to loose another life of a victim.
The tragedy strikes me very deeply since everybody is going on about the end of the world. What strikes me about it is that some believe the world will end because of massive quakes or even another great flood. Look how hard the earth quakes are starting to strike, and how far the tsunami reached.
I think it is a tragedy that has befallen on the people of Japan. Earthquakes, Tsunamis, and nuclear accidents are violent. I do however; commend the Japanese people on their strength and courage following what has happened. I only hope that it doesn’t get any worse!
I think that this tragedy one of the worst things that could happen to Japan. If you look at some of the photos and videos, you realize what it must be like to lose your home and/or family.
Don't give up, I encourage them to keep it up, they are doing well.
umm i think its carzy what happen in japan .that sad what happen people over there have no food . i wish i waz 18 nd i will go hlep.
I hope they can make it through this and they can rally material and supplies for the people. I think we can all help by supporting them in projects and donations and keep them in our thoughts and hearts.
Throughout all the disasters in the world, it was hard at first but we PUSHED through it! I know that things will get better and everything be okay! For those with friends and family who died, may peace be with you.
I hope that everyone in Japan are being strong, and doing well. I have family there so I have heard lots of scary stories about it. My prayers are with all of you and i hope it passes.
This is such a horrible disaster. I hope for the best for everybody in japan. Everybody needs to get involved with this in anyway they can.
i think it sucks that it happened and that it had to happen its crazy that there are so many earthquakes all over the place and hugh natural disasters
This is so sad. I cant believe what water can do.
We need to keep all the victims in our prayers and help in any little way we can. This is a horrible tragedy and it will never be forgotten!
Japen stay strong. We will do everything that we can to help. Once again stay strong.
i feel bad about japan i really do its hard to see all those people in thast country to go through that
i think that thiss all pretty muchh sucks for them. its really sad that they had to go throuhg the earthquake thenn have that tsunami.. its tragic, i jus cant iagine how theyy feel .. their security, its all gone now..they dont anyy . . its juss sad:(
I'm so sorry about everything that has happened there. I hope you guys can pull through, Stay strong and push forward. We need to do something about this and we are all willing to help. Good luck out there.
Just keep your heads high and know that God is watching over you.
Im feel sory for the loses in japan . And the people how iost A loved one . all hops to people in japan.
I think that its such a terrible thing and hope there are a lot people that are help.
I think that America should be doing all we can do to give aide to Japan and all of the victims of the Tsunami. As Americans we should be helping those who are less fortunate than us, and do all we can to get them back on their feet.
Im feel sory for the loses in japan . And the people how iost A loved one .
I think that a lot of people are just going to say that they feel sorry for japan or that they are praying for them but Japan just needs action. They need help more then talk.
im sorry for the loses in japan. And the people how lost a loved one
i feel bad for the peole in japan and we should do evry thang to help out.
We are thinking of the people in Japan during this time of tragedy. We read "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes." In Japan, there is an old tradition that if a person makes one thousand paper cranes and makes a a wish on each one, his wish will come true. Our wish is for Japan to have comfort and an improved situation during this terrible time. When we have finished the cranes, we hope to send them to a school in Japan.
i fell bad about what happened i want to help
I think the disaster in Japan is eye-opening for the entire world. It's so great that when someone's in need there are so many others who will step up and help them out in times like these. I know I've donated and will continue to donate for the sake of the people stuck in this catastrophe. My prayers are with them all.
tsunami's are bad but the earthquakes are going to travel and thats gonna get bad! 🙁
Dear Japan,
My sadness is kept here with me.
But my love is with you.
I'll pray for you daily.
And I'll send some relief kits.
But I want you to know you are always loved.
I feel so bad for Japan. I think that the earthquake was bad enough before the tsunami came. The flood looked so bad and heartbreaking. It is just painfull watching videos of the tsunami.
This is absolutley horrible. This has bothered me since the day it has happened. it is So unfourtnunate. God has put us to the test to pull together and help the world
I think its really sad to see Japan like that. It would suck if we had a bid quake/tsumani
we need to take action to help them if we ever had a bad situation we would like someone to lean on but in this case we should all give useful packages or money raise money to help out
i think its tarrible what happened to japan and i think we should all come togehter and work as a team to help japan.
I would just like to say that the people in Japan should keep their heads up, things will get better it just takes time. Even though this is a huge disaster and it will be hard to get over, just believing that things will get better will make that come true.
(Maybe this comment is not understood very well because I do not know much Spanish and English)
When I saw on the news what had happened in Japan, I was horrified. Can anyone imagine being locked in a car, for example, while a tsunami rushes to you? A message for those who have been living this nightmare: Mood, you are alive and have already passed the worst part, do not be sad for what you have lost, think what you have to encourage you, EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD is with you now , giving you both remote support (grants, this comments or the plate in the ps, for example) or helping you there, some risking their lives to save others. 🙂 I send all my support from here, a hug!
Sabela, Madrid, Spain
I fell so bad for the people who were involved in that tragedy it was very devastating to see all of that happen. I hope that all of the people can make it through this tragedy. I wish Japan the best of luck and hope they fix this terrible disaster that has happened. Keep Calm and Dream on.
I live in Las Vegas Nevada. I feel really bad for the citizens of Japan. I will try and think of a way to help. Every day now my class and I have been watching CNN Studet News to see and to hear about the things that happend in japan. I would hate to see that the people in Japan get ill or die that all ready have not. It is so devistating to hear about it. It sometimes makes me want to cry.
First of all i think we should all help wioth the situation in japan right now because what would you do if a quake and a tsunamie hit your house.
We should send in supplies in for the wounded ones and a radio to contact their friends and family. If we don't do something everyone there can die and Japan will be just a land full of rubble
I live in Las Vegas Nevada.I hope the people in Japan are ok.
I would feel so sad if any of my family members or friends were there and got hurt.Espesialy if it was me.
I hope that this catastrophe does not repeat
i had friends at school say that they think that 2012 is going to happen b/c of what is going on in Japan but i told them that its not because Jesus is with us and hes not going to let that happen. i think that its pretty sad whats happening to the people over in japan and that everyone should at least keep them in there prayers and help them out in anyway possible. i know that the youth group that i am in prays for the people over in Japan every thursday and sunday as a group. ♥
This is a cruel, unfair, hard smack upside the head for Japan especialy their South island, Honshu. First it's an earthquake, then a tsunami and now it's a nuclear reactor, I think anyone and everyone who cares, should help as much as they can.
I hope everyone is save. We are learn a lot about this at school. We learned that you have to stay in a build. I has wondering if there is anything that we can do. I just want to say that you can make a difference and it doesnt mader how you are and what you look like. Lets help the people that are in need of help or they lost all the things that they have.
let god be with them i will have them in my prayers. be brave and just keep it up. im am very sorry.
To the students in Japan: stay strong, we are thinking of you every day. I realize that my friends and I think about sports, video games, talking or texting friends on the phone, going home after school and eating snacks, or playing outside. But you are devastated and things are dangerous there. It makes me put things into perspective about your situation and my friends and I want to help. We are going to raise money here at school to help you. You are an inspiration to my friends and me here in Colorado. Please stay safe and strong.
also this is a horrible thing , they have my prayers
I hope Japan recovers soon
I really hope that Japan is doing better than they did during the actual tsunami/earth quake.
I hope that everyone here in the United States of America will help them recover their lives, from the destruction.
I am really wooried about Japan. I hope I can help. The dameg iooks bad.Iwander ho they are going to clean it all up?
I really wish that this wouldn't have happened to them. First the earthquack, then the tsunami and now the weather is beating on them. Its heart breaking, I hate waching them suffer, but I glad that we're NOT just sitting by doing nothing. We're out there helping them, USA is amazing when it comes to helping others. I only wish that I could be out there too.
Hi Carl.
I am having a yard sale and all the money we earn is going to Japan but i don't know of an organization that i can send it to! Please tell me of a organization or two!
Thank you!

I think that this crisis in Japan will help the Prime Minister of Japan realize the importance of letting other countries help during a national crisis like this one. One this subsides I think that the leaders of Japan will start to offer more help to other countries during huge crisis's in their countries as well.
Dear Japan...
I hope that your saddness will be away from your hearts very soon. we pray for you everyday and wish that you are all safe with your familys.
In my opinion America should just go help, send recruits out! Instead of sitting at home and hoping stuff won't happen. All the nuclear trouble should be taken seriously, if Japan's economy plummets then we are in trouble.
I think what has happened in Japan is horrible. We have been praying for it evey time we go to church since it happened. I'm going to try and talk my youth minister into a mission trip to Japan, or a fundraiser sometime. More people should be getting involved in things like this.
Hopefully everything is going to be O.K. down their, America is one of the leading economys in the world, as well as Japan. The quake/tsunami will set the economy into a crisis and downfall if we don't take care of this immediately. History will just repeat itself as it usually does if we do not take immediate care of this.
I feel so bad for Japan because if that happened to you, you would want as many help as u ca.n So i am starting a bake sale at school to help Japan.
i wish i could help all the people in japan and look for everyone who is still missing but i cannot.
If we went through this tragic accident I am sure Japan would help us. So why not follow the first rule of character and Treat others as you wish to be treated and help Japan out. 🙂
The thing that has me worried the most , is the children . . . . Many of them lost their parents and are currently orphans ? I think people should worry more about the children , than the radiation.
I heard about all the bad things happening in Japan and in Social Studies its all we talk about so our S.S. class decided to hold a bake sale with student council at lunch to earn money to send to Japan to help fix all the damage and give money to the workers who are helping fix the nuclear plant. You just have to remember that every penny counts so donate!
This is reminiscent of the disaster of the atomic bombs in the 40s. The Japanese people have dealt with events like this before, so I think that they will be able to pull through now, even if it will take a decade or so.
I think we need to be grateful for all we have... Look at the people in Japan, nothing they could have done could have prepared them for this disaster! We need to be doing everything and anything we can do to help!
i feel sorry for all of the people in Japan and i hope that japan can regain it's world power. I will pray for you Japan!
Japan we love and we will never forget you. I hope you return even better then you once were. I pray you every day, for your people to get better and return to their homes.
No country should have to suffer from this natural disaster. I am glad that different countries are setting aside there differences with the country to help them through this. I think that other regular people such as students, can help by raising money for the costs of repairs.
The Japan survivors should be greatful they are still alive but, we Americans should help them out by donating some money to the survivors.
my thought about what happned is that am very speech less about the disater that hit japan . i wish i was there to provide stuff they really need even though im very young and cant give them any money but i would like for anyone who can help to do so .
This story has been our biggest topic in my social studies class. It breaks my heart to see everyone hurting so bad. At the same time it shows me the good in people. They really stepped it up in Japan.
They truely ARE heros! No doubt about it! They showed everyone the way things should be. Helping out strangers in need. Risking your life for a lot of people. That takes some bravness.. and I believe everyone in Japan is brave. Your in my prayers Japan! 🙂
I think that its a bad thing because the more disasters that hit japan means, that they will have to ask everyone for help and soon they will have to depend on everyone. So i think that the more we help is still a good thing just they nneed to do things for themselves too.
i think everyone around the world just can't sit around and do nothing about this disaster. we need to actually DO something instead of sitting around, wishing a mircale will happen. these suffering people need desperate HELP! they have little shelter, food, and water. an earthquake, then a tsunami, and now a radiation leak? these are things that most people have nightmares about. well for the japanese this is a LIVING NIGHTMARE. we need to help these poor, suffering people. i'm praying that nothing else this tragic happens to japan ever again.
i think that i would do anything to save those japanese people and japan i would give my life to save them......but i will do like a fundraiser to help!!!
When I first heard about the earthquake, I was horrified. I thought it would be just like Haiti. A year after the earthquake in Haiti, they still haven't recovered. However, Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world, but Japan is far from weak. Japan will recover, although it will take time, but even though their devastation is much more than Haiti's, Japan will rebuild itself faster. Of course, then there was the tsunami! I watched the sludge creep across the land. I was amazed the water could be carrying fires on its surface! As I watched it, I was reminded of when I pour water on my driveway. It spreads out in every direction. What's worse though is that my classmates pointed and giggled at certain things the aerial camera picked up. They laughed as millions of people lost their lives. I don't think anyone really realizes how serious this is.
i am very proud for the people who are working on the nuclear reactor and I am supporting Japan all the way. I am happy that people are donating to the red cross and helping Japan. I will pray for you.
i think its terrible but, they need to try to move on they cant depend on everyone forever.I have been praying every night that they will get help and get better. If i went through that then I would feel like Inhave nothing to live for,but they do they have all of us and their familes.
GOD LOVES YOU ALL
we are devastated that you went through that so try to get better and the more everyone helps the better we feel.
GET BETTER
Tragedy in Japan is sad but i think we should think of the good and keep helping out.
I am heartbroken by the tragedy that has occured in Japan. I believe however that through hope and belief that things will get better, they can get better. I hope that the U.S. will work hard along with other countries to resolve this tragedy and relive Japans of the heavy burdens which now rest on their shoulders...
i feel sorry for japan, 🙁 and we should help them. the world needs to send suplise and help the people that are hurt back to health.
This natural disaster is a huge wake-up call for us. I think this had shown the world how much we take our lives for granted. Rebuilding Japan will be a worldly effort; we should all take part.
I'm Japanese and live in Tokyo,Japan now.we are being in the unpredictable situation. Because electric power are less provided than usual and almost everyday products ,for example rice, toilet paper and cans, are sold out, I have been teached by this disaster that we were materially affluent. We may have to learn the proverb "He is rich that has few wants." through this disaster.I had a lot,but I'm fine now.today is friday ! Friday is always awesome.
I think that the damage in Japan can be fixed if we all chip in i think the damage can be fixed. Ibeleive that there is still hope for Japan. All we need is some of our time and money and I beleive we can help fix the problem. We need to dod a fundraise or bake sale or something to raise money for Japan.
i feel so bad about what happened is their anyway that stallings elementary can help.
I think it is smart that people are trying hard to get out of Japan but this might also tear some families apart.
japan does not deserve this, they are a very developed country but this is to much
I feel really bad for them and if any thing I think the least we could do is stop feeling so bad for our selves.
God bless all the Japanese people affected by this horrible disaster. It's times like these that we see how precious life is and how powerless we are against Mother Nature.
All I can say is that will go down in history as one of the most devastating natural disasters and my prayers and thoughts are with Japan.
I <3 Japan
if i could tell those people anything it would be to just hang in there. i know that they are going through a hard time over there after an earthquake AND a tsunami. it had to have been terrifying for them. but, i'm sure if they wait then somebody will come to help them. tons of nations from the UN (including the US) are sending people to help rescue the people still in danger. i hope they can save as many people as possible and that those people come out safely or without harm. good luck japan!!
The earthquake in japan is horrible and I think that more people should pitch in to help
I think the disaster in tragedy is awful and more people should be doing more. Obama hasn't been doing much. The latest I have heard on him was that he was playing golf somewhere when he should help with the fail reactor. Japan should have a bigger warning and I also think that they should make a better system to detect these horrible affects.
I Think We All Should Put Hard Work Into Helping Japan, I Hope That Japan Doesn't End Like Haiti. Still Asking For Help In A Decade. If We All Did Something To Help Im Positive America Can Make Thing's Better.
The World is a big place, I bet if we work together Japan would be back on track in no time. My school is already having hat days and donations to gain money for the people in Japan, even if there are a lot of budget cuts to make. We should all do something to help, even writing a letter of encouragement to someone you know can help. COME ON EVERYONE!! Let's all work together, and do something to help!!!!!!!! <33333333333 🙂
My advise would be to never give up hope just think about the future when your country looks back on this event and says that’s what we were now look at us today!!
This is so sad what happened. But, at least, the worst is over; if another earthquake as bad as this one were to settle, they would be prepared. The best method of attack is suprise. Our school is doing a "dress-down day", where we wear casual clothes for a dollar (so long as it fits the dress code). The money will be sent to Japan, but I can't help thinking that there is mroe we can do to help....
But this could be a lesson, too. So many countries are helping, this shows that although we may fight each other, we've still got each other's back. Even so, the earthquake was horrible. A horrible earthquake makes a horrible tsunami, and that breaks vital objects setting off explosions and fires and everything in a nightmare. We all can pitch in if we try.
i think japan needs our help because they ` re in need ; so many people are leaving japan ! i want my school to have a fundraiser for helping japan ! people will be more than welcomed to help . i know they will !
I feel so bad for the people in Japan. six thousand are confirmed dead or missing at the present time. A 9.0 magnitude quake hit the country, which triggered a tsunami, and the people could possibly could radiation exposure. Imagine going through all of that! That's why a girl in my class suggested sending a care package, and if we don't have time to send one in class I will try to send one from home.
I feel sorry for the people in Japan but only if i could be there to help them:[
I didn't expect something this bad to happen in Japan. One natural disaster after another. (shrug)
Japan stay strong I'm praying for you. >:)
I think it is sad what could happen to a beautiful country and in two sweeps. I hope that they recover soon.
I think that we should o everything that we can in order to help japan. I feel as though we should do something and take an important stand, as this is a time of crisis in Japan. I also want to be able to do something, anything for the people in Japan.
I think that the terrible tragedy that happened in Japan is just outrageous! All of the people had to suffer of loosing a loved one!! I am going to try my best on helping out by donating money and special needs!!!! 🙂
This was a shocking thing to everyone across the world when this happened. Its very sad... Things like this can happen at anytime in the world and we never know its coming. This was very unexpected and i hope everything gets taking care of and pray they find those missing indivuals & get everyone to a safe place! 🙁
we need to help theem!
I'm a Japanese university student watching CNN student news to learn English. I really appreciate warm and active supports from all over the world. Now, Japan is faced with serious situation, but we'll make every effort to reconstruct damaged region.
I think it's horrible that japan is going through the disaster's especially the tsunami that hit. Cause people missing, people injured, an people are still not found! I will prey before bed, before school,an before i go anywhere else.
May the AID get to those in temporary shelters SOON, with helicopter air drops of medical supplies, and food.
I discovered this poem several months ago and find it very fitting for what the people of Japan have shown us and for those of us who have suffered and are still suffering in one form of another.

"Silent hurting heart"
"Oh, nothing's wrong," She smiled,
Grinning from ear to ear.
The Frown that just was on her face
just seemed to disappear.
But deep down where secrets are kept,
the pain began to swell.
All the hurt insided of her
just seem to stay and dwell.
All the pain in her heart
was too much for her to take
Pretending everything's OK
is much too hard to fake.
She'd duck into the bathrooms
and hide inside the stalls
because no one could see her tears
behind those dirty walls.
She was sick and tired of losing
and things never turning out right.
She had no hope left in her
She was ready to give up the fight.
But she wiped away the teardrops,
put a smile back on her face,
pulled herself together and
walked out of that place.
Life went on and things got better.
She thought that was a start.
But still, no one could see inside
her silent hurting heart. "

I don't know what it's like to live through a natural disaster the size of Japan's, but my hopes and wishes go out to the country and all who are affected by the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant problems. Also, I think it is ridiculous for people in America to be buying the radiation blockage pills. The US is over 5,000 miles away from Japan, and just because there is money to buy the pills, doesn't mean people should when they don't need it, and, risk their health from the side effects.
I will always be praying for all of you in Japan. If i could switch places with you i would. Just think positive, put your swag on, and embrace your awesomeness!!!!
hi my name is Shannon and for those who were in that devastating earthquake, I' Am going to tell you one thing that there is hope for you. Some of you maybe scared or frightened about weather your family is alive or not. Just find hope
I think that japanese should not be scared or worried because in the world there are a lot of countries that are going to give help when anyone needed
When it's cloudy, you should always look on the bright side. Sure, there was a natural disaster, but take pride in the fact that you have lived threw it. The ones lost wouldn't wish us to sit around and give up on life. They would want us to clean up this disaster and get on with life.
I believe that japan is strong enough to rebuild, but the tragedy in people's heart is hard to wash away. I am happy that I still have some little money to donate for helping. Japanese's strong faith has taught me a lot. They are stong to face the disaster, and they do every thing orderly. I will continuedly pray for them!
It's horrible that this would happen. No matter how prepared you are for this kinds of natural disasters, the powers of nature will always be stronger than that of man. Everyone everywhere is doing everything we can to help them out, because it would be a great shame for such a wonderful country to lose her previous glory, so ganbare! Make nai de! Do your best! Don't give up! I will never stop praying for you until you are able to smile again.
I think what happened in Japan with all the water and the earthquake was terrifying. I also heard that some countries that Japan had been with war in are not helping to get things together. That is not fair because what might happen in Japan effects the whole world and we can only stop the nuclear radioactive stuff if we all help. All the countries should pitch in a little to help Japan.
I also live in South Korea. The earthquake in japan was one of the most shocking things I have ever heard. I knew that Japan has many earthquakes and have experienced a lot of them. But never in this size and damage. I knew that all Japanese buildings have high-tech anti-earthquake supports, beams, etc. But all those technologies going down like a pile of blocks, I never imagined that could ever happen. First the earthquake, next the missing&dead people, now the nuclear reactors going off. What's going to come next? I really hope Japan will get over with this. It will take a lot of time to recover, but I really think that if all the world work together, Japan will stood up again.
May God bless all those who is missing so they can get back to their loved ones.
Be strong Japan \:D/
May our prayers be herd. May we remember the brave men that are going into that power plant. I will pray for you until you arrive home safely. God bless you!
I feel sorry for whom were sacrificed. and we should do anything to help them and pray for them. but Japaness should know onething about their past criminal. and they should sorry for counturies which hurt.

But if the rest of you who have survived You Should Move on, Get a new house, and get a new life. I once lost my father when i was 6 years old. I was Crying allday i thought i was going to cry for the rest oof my life. But then, in the Month of July 20 2009 i had a baby brother with His New Father named kenney, Then he was my new step father. Then I moved on and started a new life but you should not forget about Your Family member who's gone but you should keep them in your mind. 😀

the tragedy that occured in Japan is unremarkably upsetting. i hope everything gets better for you all. i just want you guys to know that i cried when i saw this on the news. eventhough i am on the otherside of the world, i feel the pain. everything will get better, and i promise you all this.
They need to evacuate everyone ASAP. I say take some patrol troops out of Iraq and spend more time on relief efforts. They should probably test the food in Japan before consumption for radioactivity too.
the end of the world is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉
this is horrible i cant stand how it will effect us and every one there
What happened in Japan was really sad. And I will pray every night that the stranded people get enough food and donations to start over. We have already given 64 million dollars in the first six days (as of yesterday). But compare that to the 200 million or more that we gave Haiti in the first six days!! Big difference!! You know if every one in the world gave a dollar each they would have billions and trillions!! And they could build new houses and walls and buildings and start over.
Tyler. The majority if not all the people in Japan that are alive speak Japanese!! This a good idea except the part where they don't know English!!
We are so sad about what happened to you.We wish that you all find hope and
i hope the best for japan
Dear japan,

I feel sad that Japan went through all of this damae. And that it traveled to Hawaii. I don't know much about the Big red spot but i do know that hawaii nd japan is among it. 10,000 people are lost from all the debri ! GOD BLESS JAPAN ! I hope you find the lost people ^*
i feel real sorry for u guys and i hope that u guys all have hope because in a situtation like this it is always good to have hope and believe that when one window closes another opens.and i hope all u guys make it out of japan and go some where else but i known it is going to be hard for u guys to start all over and find a new home
We hope it dosen 't turn out like Hati
Ingrid- I think that if we all work out we can get food and beds for u to eat and sleep all we need is a little team work and we can all make it there, also i will pitch in a dollor here and there and give you clothes that cant fit me any more and i fell sorry for you a lot and i fell sad for u.
Kayla – I think that we all should get together, to help Japan with all the food and other things that they need. Japan is equal to Hati, they had the same thing that happened to them, and they both need supplies.
Dennis-i think the we should send japan resoures like food clothing and send more rescue people to find more survivors over in japan

Dear Japan, we are very sorry for what happen. We all need to be strong in these painful times. After we heard about the earthquake we wanted to do everything in our power to help you. We of CT feel terrible for all my fellow students of Japan. We have been discussing of this disaster of your home in my ELA class. I personally think that the people of America whining for objects do not understand this horror.never give up hope stay together and always have hope in each other always stick together and help each other through this tragedy and help your family through this struggle
I am a student from Kansas, and for the last week I have learned about the catastrophes that have been going on in Japan. I feel sad for all of these people that have died. Most countries are helping Japan. Many people need food, water, clothes, and medicines. I hope this catastrophe ends soon. We can help by collecting money and sending it.
Dear students of Japan I heard about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I think you should evacuate Japan and let the workers help the plant so that not that radiation for others. I hope they fix the plant so that you could live safe in Japan. Japan should get better help.
the people in Japan are very lucky to survive such a disaster! i hope they know that they are in our prayers. the whole world is watching to see how the nuclear power plant are going to do! i hope everything turns out great!
Its okay. Im sorry that this had to happen I will pray for you. I hope it gets better.
I will pray for you.I hope things will get better soon.
We wonder what is wrong with America's educational system. Maybe the disaster in Japan might expose part of the problem. American civilians teaching on military bases in Japan were told they could take voluntary leave as long as they understood they pay for their own plane ticket, they no longer have a job or benefits, they leave all their earthly goods behind except for a duffle bag. We don't respect teachers enough to give them a free ride home from possibly the worst disaster area this world has ever known?
To all people in japan.I hope you will be okay.I will keep you in my prayers
This is a devastating disaster. i hope this never happens again. I will send supplies
I hope everything gets better and I hope this never happens again.
I think Japan needs all the help they can get. They supply the USA with alot of products that we need. It is a tragedy and we all need to contribute.
I hope y'all dont give up hope just keep your head up. I will do whatever to help you dont die ok bye
The people of Japan are going through so much trauma that nobody should ever deserve. We need to help out as much as possible, and we need to support them all the way!
This shall open all the eyes of the nations. Thus, anything could occur in the future. I hope Japan will recover from this tragic event.
To all the kids in japan, i wish you the best of luck. i hope all of your needs of food and shelter met. Also i wishf that all of your friends and family be found.
From your friend here in America
-Michael
I'm from America and I think that this is just terrible. This is so devastating for the country. I think every school should start a fundraiser for Japan to make it better. I hope the people take care of the radiation so no one will get killed because it could affect other places too. Good luck Japan.
I feel real bad about what happened but just stay positive and you will make it through this devastating situation.
Japan is such an advanced country that many country's in the world have always admire. Now that Japan is in its tragedy, we all should be helping to restore the country, because it is such a heartbreak to see a beautiful country go into chaos. Although it may take a while to fix, if we all work together Japan can return to its glory.
Hi Carl,
I hope that the people in Japan have support from there famillies and friends alike. Our school is trying to start a found raiser for the people of japan that need help. We hope that our donations can help save people in japan from starvation and lose of home. Also i think that the scientist at the nuclear power plant are doing great and just want to thank them for risking there lives for ours. So thank you and hope this disaster eends soon.
In my middle school that i attend, we have been learning about the situtation in Japan. What has happened is tragic and devistating. It must have been a heartbreak for the people who have lost famiyl members and friends.
Yes, I feel so bad for Japan after what has happened to them. I wish there was more I could do to help. Im just happy that a lot of people still have their lives left. My heart goes out to Japan, and I hope they can get through this tradgedy.
This is probably the worst state Japan has ever been in. Its terrible what happened to the people of Japan and I know I don't stand alone when I say that my thoughts, hopes and prayers go out to every single person effected by this terrible disaster. And if the devistation caused by this Earthquake-Tsunami disaster isn't enough, Japan must now deal over the threat of a nuclear meltdown in one of their plants. I hope that I an not the only one that will continue to pray for the safety of the people of Japan.
I'm going to use my money to help people who really need it in japan
i hope we can help save as many people as we can.it is tragic i hope every one will be ok
we think that the tragedy was very um sudden and unexspected
its just like haiti all over again. so know we should give a dollar every day just to make sure they have everything they need.also we could :[.
I feel bad for the people in Japan and the tsunami was insane. I hope the people get the help they deserve. 🙂 😀
Dear Japan,
Our heartfelt concerns go out to you and your families. We write to you with open arms, and want to help in as many ways possible.God bless and stay strong. Keep a smile on your face and your families close.

its so sad , that people in japan have to flee to another country , because they have not gotten a break yet . After the earthquake, tsunami , and the upcoming explosion of the power plant.
All we can do is hope and pray that everyone gets out safe and sound. – Caitlyn and Mya
We think that the radiation is going to come to california and we are going to have to take iodine pills
This is a tragedy, I feel so sorry for all of the Japanese people. They must be sad that they cant find thier families and friends.
🙁

Dear Japan,
We are sorry for what has happened to your country. Many people have donated money to help. America has many shelters for people who are leaving Tokyo and coming to America. You will be able to find refuge in America.
Sincerely ,
Alexa and Zaria
Dear Japan,
I'll pray for your safety Before I sleep. I'll always pray for you because I wanna show you that here in CT we care and we are worrying about your safety. I think it's horrifying that you guys are losing homes and families. I also think that people here or in an other place should help out too.
Dear Japan,
Even though we are miles away, we feel your pain. We know you are struggling with this tragedy, but you should always stay strong and have hope. We are praying for you and we believe things will get better
I hope that everybody is safe, I feel bad for the people who lost their houses and lives in Japan. Never give up hope , you'll be okay soon. I hope that the countries can help Japan in their state of hardship. God blessI,
We think that Its going to be hard for Japan to recover from this tradegy. Therefore, families are going to be separated and they'll probably try start their lifes' over in a diffrent country but it'll be hard to adapt. Also im really worried and we hope this tragedy gets better.
We pray for your safety, so this tragedy will never happen again. For the people of Japan, find faith in family, friends, and other people of Japan. We pray that other countries will unite with you and help in this tragedy. We know we are in America.
Sincerely,
Tyson and Brandon
Shawn: I feel bad for what happened to Japan and all the people that do not have any food or anywhere to sleep.
Miguel: my school is talking about the things that have been going on with Japan. We overall our Very sorry for what is going on there. I hope that the people in Japan will be okay. I wish that they find the lost and missing, and bring loved ones back together again. We are keeping Japan in our thoughts and prayers. Hopping everything will turn for the better. And hearing about the radiation, makes it worse, hearing about how people will die because of being exposed to that much of it, it's just horrible. I HOPE THINGS GET BETTER!!!
Dear Japan,
We are very concerned about the people in Japan. In our language arts class we are keeping posted by watching CNN Student News. Sixth graders at our school are raising money to contribute. We welcome all of you with open arms. You're in our prayers. (:
Dear the students of Japan,
Wemare so very sorry to hear about everything you guys and girls are going through. 🙁 we are writing you guys to tell you to have hope, never give up, and together we will make it through this. Also to ask if there is anything we can do the help out?
Do you think that Japan will ever recover? And I wish the best for Japan and hope there are no more tsunamis!!! 🙂
I,Jovanny thinks that this was a very sad tragedy. Many are dead and people are losing jobs. The power plants have blown up twice, now how many times is this going to happen again?
I, Afa think that the tragedy that struck Japan is very breath taking and the death toll is very high.
we out
I am so sorry for all you people in Japan. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. Stay strong, do what you need to do. Have faith and beleive that this whole situation will go away. May God bless you! : )
we both think that the diaster in japan is a tragedy for them. some lost lots of family members and that some people dont know what is going to happen. now there is trouble with the power plant, and hopefully it doesn't explode and cause radiation.Be Safe!!!!! 🙂
I hope everyone in Japan is okay . I pray for the japanevery night. I wish i could help in some way. Be safe everyone.
Dear Japan,
I am really sorry for what has happened on march 11,2011. My school is trying to do everything they can to help. Also I am praying for things to get better so I hope that you guys are safe and nothing happens to none of you.
I think that the tsunami and the earthquake was really trageic. I feel very bad and thats amazing how two things can happen at the same time such as the tsunami and the earthquake.I also, think that it is very smart that most people are evacuating from tokyo because they are doing the right thing and being safe. But, it is very sad how some people don't even know where there family members are and have to leave everything behind.
We feel so bad about the earthquake in Japan. We hope that the people that were affected recover quickly. The total loss in lives are very large and many people have lost their homes, families, and property. The nuclear powerplant is also causing a major problem in the enviorment and the radiation levels are high and could cause alot of people to get sick. The tsunami caused tremendous amounts of damage to japan and a little to California.
We think that the tragedy is'nt just affecting Japan. It is brining all the nations closer. It did suck that the Earthquake, Tsunami, and Powerplant all happened but it does have some good affects. just look at all the comments from all around the world wishing luck and health to all the people in Japan. We think we should take this as an example and not just stand around. When the earthquake
Hati we all helped. Why can't we do that now?
john: i think this problem is horrible because of the radiation that can contaminate the WORLD!
govanni:i also think its so aweful this happened to japan and people living in this condition!
jada: i agree with both i think that they need support
Dear People of Japan,
I feel Bad for what just happened. I hope everything goes well. Stick together until this passes. Don't give up hope. Take care of your family and friends. Keep your head held up high to the sky. Be Strong. I can't imagine how horrifying it must be to go through a tsunami and feel the stew the earthquake under your bodies. We will pray for your safety and hope everything get better and go back to normal again.
Love ,
Nyasia & Sthelly
I feel sorry for the people their if i was their would do something to help. If i could fix their problems and give them a place to stay i would.

Always stay with your families and remember to take care of yourselves. We will keep you in our prayers 🙂 WE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU AND ALWAYS KEEP YOU IN OUR HEARTS AND IN OUR MINDS! We do care!! 😉 🙂
Always,
Dajond and Stephanie
Japan is in a alot of trouble and probably has a lot of pain. We could give a dollar every day to help with what they need. If we helped Hhaiti
then we should help Japan. 🙂
We think the tragedy in Japan was awful and we hope they can recover. The Japanese people caught up in this horrible situation have been exposed to harmful events such as losing their home, losing their buisness , or just getting hurt badly. If we could do anything to help we would do whatever we could. We could donate money or start a foundation to make money. Just the littlest thing could make a big difference.
Nick: What hapened in Japan is a true tragedy . I feel sory that everyone had to go through such a hard time.God bless thoes who lost thier lives. 🙁
Damian: To everyone who was effected in this tragedy, my heart goes out to you. <3. When i heard what happened my heart was broking. </3. I pray for you guys everyday. God Bless. 🙂

Dear Students of Japan: I will pray for your safety before I sleep. I will pray for your food supply before you eat. I will for your re built home before I leave home.
Hi we are from connecticut . And we hope you guys stay strong and build a better community. We also hope you stay with your families.we are going to do a fundraiser to help you through rough times. We can also send toys to the kids that lost theirs. We are praying for everything to be restored in Japan. And are deepest concurs for the ones you have lost in your tragedy.
Sincerely Amiya Lashia Tashyra
Ps your welcomed here
We all hope that everyone in Japan can get right back up on their feet as soon as possible to the point where they can continue to live normal lives in this global recession.
It is horrible that some many people are having to go through that. A country moved altogether by 8ft. ? I remember watching on the discovery channel that all the land was once connected. then earthquakes and cracks started splitting the land and sending it in different directions. Maybe the earth isn't done. Maybe in a thousand years more the world will look differently than it does now. But thats if we last that long on this Earth.
I feel very sad that japan is in this mess. but the good thing is its not us. so our school is doing a fundraiser and giving all the money to japan.
I Wish i could do something to help japan. But all i could say is this Get Better and Hope U Get Back on your Feet.
god bless u and yes u can dont forget
I send my prayers to the unfortuate people in Japan. It is obvious the this it a terrible tragedy, but together, I know that we get get through it! I hope all of the children in Japan know that us kids in America are thinking of them. And to all of the kids watching right now, remember to be thankful for everything that you have, because you never know what tomorrow will bring!
it is a very sad time for japan. if you lose something thank god your still alive than dead.
Its obvious that this is a terrible tragedy. I think that all of you kids that are watching should count your blessings, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. 🙂
It is obvious that this is a terrible tragedy. I think that all of you kids that are watching should count your blessings, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. <3
I think that they should get a chemical or like a foam that they can cover the plant with to stop escaping radiation. I send my sympathy to everyone who has been affected by the accident.
Well, I feel very sorry the people in the japan and I hope that they will find a solution to fixing all of the distruction that recetly happened. Im pretty sure that the radiation in japan will not reach the U.S. but all we can do is pray for us and the people in japan.
The USA has power. Power that should be used. Japan needs our help and we can help. But for now i will pry. Pry day and night, night and day hopeing that it will get better.
the us should help Japan with the nuclear recators. Because its better to risk a life then lose a life.
Dear Japan, I indeed feel sorry and sad for you. No one deserves such a horrible experience. The world is deep grief for Japan. I hope things get better soon. And the problems with the nuclear reactors, get fixed. God bless Japan and hold on to hope.
Dear Japan,
We are very sorry for all of your losses, here in Park City Prep we are very shocked and sorry for everything that's going on. As human beings can imagine how hard it is, to go through something like such. We have learned that many families have died and on top of that this disaster isn't over, the radiation is still making everything worse. We keep you in our prayers.
Dear Japan,
People are sending money to the Red Cross to help you rebuild your homes and the nuclear power plant. We're sorry for your loss and we hope that this nightmare will end. We hope that our friends in Japan are okay.
We are very sorry for your disaster. In Conneticut we had major storms but none compared to your tsunami. We wish you get better. Also we will do anything in our power to help you make Japan better then it is now since the quake and the tsunami hit.
Dear Japan,
What has happened to your country has been a tremendous tragedy! I just want you to know we will in our hearts pray for your sleep , food , and shelter. If you have lost a loved and dear one , just understand that now they're in a better place.
We are very sorry for your disaster. In Conneticut we had major storms but none compared to your tsunami. We wish you get better. Also we will do anything in our power to help you make Japan better then it is now since the quake and the tsunami hit.
Dear people in Japan,
I am very sorry for what happened in your country. We hope many families are okay. Also we hope many are not after shocked by the earthquake.
Dear Japan, I am sorry for all your losses. I know how it feels to lose someone. I hope nothing more happens to your country such as the nuclear power plants radiation becoming in contact with people.I I were older I would take a plane to come help out as well as my fellow classmates. From Christian, Juliana and Kymar
Dear Japan,
I'm sorry to hear about your 9.0 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear power plant melt down that has occurred. I am glad to hear that experts are already working to stop a melt down. I hope you guys recover quickly. Japan is definitely in our prayers.
Dear families in Japan , I know what happened a couple of days ago in your country . We are sorry for the important things that you guys lost and we hope one day you would recover every thing you had. We also really hope that things will get better over there as soon as possible. 😉
Dear Japan:
We are so sorry to hear about what happened. It is not fair that you should get an earthquake, tsunami, and the problem with your nuclear power plant. We pray that at the end of the day everything is going to turn out alright. Remember that things get worse before they get better.
Dear People of Japan,
We are sorry about your. It was tragic that a 9.0 earthquake happened and then a tsunami hit. We hope that you are able to fix the disaster soon and get back to your normal lives, in peace once again. I feel sorry for loss of your loved ones. I know it hard butyl have to preserve. Have faith and don't give up you will be able to rebuild your city.
Sincerly,
Ryan Ecclesron-Murdock. Jacqueline Lupercio, Joshua Robinson
Dear,Japan
We are terribly sorry for all you have gone through. Here in America we are doing all we can to help out. Such as having the Red Cross donate
money from all of us here in America. What happened to you was a very dry situation that hit a lot of people in the heart. We hope that the worst is over. We are keeping you in our prayers. #PrayForJapan
We pray for the people in Japan that were victims of the catastrophe. We hope things get better for all of you. We also hope that the people in the area of the radiation of the power plants end up with nothing serious. You have the support of the United States. If you ever need anything, American government will help you.
Sincerely, Da'Misi, Evan and Sabrina
Dear citizens of Japan,
Us seventh and eighth graders in Bridgeport, Connecticut are very sad to hear about the tragedy in your country. We wanted to assure you that things will only get better with our help. We will pray that you continue a safe and healthy recovery. We just want you to know that we care and support you. God bless those you lost and to those who survived. We will try to be there every step of the way. STAY STRONG!!!!!!!

Dear people of Japan,
Sometimes I just wish that the people in the United States could act differently. We've become so mentally blinded about what we want and what others need. Also we forget to appreciate the little things until something horrible happens.I just want to say that I'm sincerely devastated about what came your way. I also want you to know that we are here for you and we will do everything in our power to help. You know it kills me to hear people talk about the weather here in C.T. I mean look at what happened to you! We pray that you'll get better over time.
I hope Japan could get on its feet again. I they could do it from a little help from God
I feel so bad for the people in Japan. First the earthquake and then the tsunami; I hope they can get back on their feet.
The tragedy in Japan has left many people homeless and I pray every night that they will get help.
I think it is sad for the people in Japan becuse, they lost their home ,food.
I think the earthquake really was sad and amazing how much peaple died and suffurd and stayed alive.
It just makes me think why god lets it happen.
I feel sad for the people that died and dont have homes.I would like to give some money to them if they need some.they lost their food, close, and their homes.I hope they get everything back.
Japan is in a hard live because the earth quick and the sonome ..They are in a poor sad life .
its sad that the people in Japan were hurt and scared and some killed by the huge earthquake and the tsunmy but i hope they become happy again and not scared but i hope they are ok i hope it doesnt happen
Japan is in daneger becauseof the earth quick. I fell so sorry for them. I wish I could help them. But I can't.
I think that the tragedy in japan sucked for them.and I think that we could help them.
Everybody needs to pitch in, i mean what if you had no home and might me exposed to radiation i would hate it ok just think about that!!!!!
They are doing all they can... people keeping constant effort on making sure the nuclear cores don't melt down
and the parents and guardians making sure the children are safe by either leaving the area or keeping watch to see if the radiation reaches them....
the students and young ones have it tough to... keeping morale up and helping everyone.
there are always tragedies or events that make a country come together and at times the whole world...
this is both

I feel sooooo bad for Japan!!! It is very sad to think of all the families that have had their homes distroyed. I wish that there was no such thing as earthquakes and tsunamis. Anyway, I just feel really bad for them.
I feel very bad for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel very sad for Japan , that earthquake came so fast , they didnt get ready yet & the tsunami was fast too . I feel very bad for Japan , i think that what people can do is raise money or send money , that would help . (:
I feel sorry for the disaster and i think that donating and helping Japan
I feel very sorry for Japan and I think that everyone should try to help out and donate things because its not fair to the adults or the childreb
Nature happens everywhere but what happened in Japan was very heart breaking and I think
that people should start donating as much as they can.
This event in Japan has shown myself that if an earthquake hits where i live, it might end up like how Japan looks like. Everyone should have an emergency kit in their homes so they have enough food and water for a long period of time. Everyone that was hit in Japan are in my prayers. <3
I can't believe that this happened to Japan. Now the country is in ruins and it may take years to rebuild. Every person on facebook that sees this should post a "Help Japan" post and see how many people like it or comment to see if people really care like they should. Japan is one of the most advanced countries in the world and we should be doing more to help.
I think that nations all over should help in every way an I am sure that japan would have done the same if some one else was to have an earthquake and tsunami. And I think that they would be very grateful I know my school is doing a penny war and all the money is going to the red cross for the hurt victims for the in japan.
we all should help the survivoirs posible';(
I feel so bad for the people in Japan and wish I could help everyone who was living there the time the earth quake and tsunami hit. I am hoping that the radiation does not affect or harms anyone else.
Wow. Japan has been so strong with all thats going on. I hope america gives them a hand in their recovery. As a kid I feel like I can't do anything but, we all can. we can listen and spread their story and make sure everyone knows they need help. Be brave Japan!!! They can't pull through without our help. I believe we need to hold hands across the world to make an unbreakable bond. When a country is in help the world pulls together to create a miracle.
We may not live in Japan but, we are all affected. The lives that were lost, the damage, has affected the world. Yet I know we will pull together as a world. We will hold our heads high and fight the dreaded mother nature! I encourage EVERYONE to find a way to help. Thank you for pulling together to make a difference in Japan and the WORLD!!!!
I think it's really sad for all those people out there. I was watching a video of it and I was hoping that all the people got out of their homes and to a safe area.
Im really sorry for all the people in japan. So im gonna try to have a fundraiser to make money, send it to the us military with an envalope that says; for the future of japan.
The world has recently been struck by many horrible catastrophes. As is the habit of the media, everyone has forgotten about Katrina. Everyone has forgotten about Chile. Everyone has forgotten about Haiti. At some point we, the future of this crazy place called earth, have to realize that these things don't go away any more than they stop happening. We have to pull together. By the time this generation of students steps in, all the dictators will have died and their weaker heirs will have stepped in. I call every student in this world. We must become leaders and we must pull together. Man-kind is a tiny half-blip on the history of this world. The earth will be here long after we die out, so what is the point of fighting over land that will belong to noone in a couple million years.
whatever Japan had done for us in history , when disasters swept on this country , we'll should hand togher to rescue them out of touble. rather than putting hatred over humanity. life is precious, we are coming from one world.
we are being with you .
At a critical time , if we hand togher to overcome, there is not what is unconquerable. we are praying for you silently.for a better tomorrow, for survivors would have a safety, for victims flied to paradise.
I came from taiwan. In the past, we had ever suffer a lot of pain from earthquake. Japan is always helping us up from destruction. I hope this time japan could overcome the difficulties unfolding in their country.
Hi,I'm from Spain and I'm very sorry about this disaster. This comment won't help you a lot, but this way you can know there are millions of people trying to help you.
I give you my best thoughts and wishes.
Its really bad what happended to them, there hasnt been an earthquake that bad in a long time.I also feel bad for all of the body's that are probably suffering of starvation under all of the destruction the earthquake did.May god be with them! 🙂
My name is satoshi. I live in tokyo.
Now, we have a gas shortage, sometime suffer from power outage, and cannot buy enough food.
But we all care about suffering people in disaster area.
We strive together for recovery.
Hi, my name is Rosalía. I am from Madrid, Spain. I am very sorry for all you have passed, but I am sure that all of this will finish soon.
There are so many people around the world that are helping you, although its from their houses...
My father, my sister and me will donate some money too.
I know the bad moments that you are having, so the best solution I have think for you is staying with your family and friends trying to be happy until the disaster pass.
Many luck for future.
Rosalía.
I am one of Japanese, but I would like you to be more focused on how disaster victims are making intense effort to rebuild their daily lives. I know earthquake, tsunami and radiation leak are scary, but the important thing is conducting what we can do now diligently with patience. For example, victims affected a little lighter are helping those affected heavily sharing food, water, and even fuel. People not directly affected by the quake are cooperating by saving electricity to avoid an unexpected blackout due to the shortage of electricity. I would not like you to dismiss these facts with cultural difference and like you to support Japan for a long time. It is definitely not easy to recover from the disaster whether the country is advanced or advancing.
I feel bad for people there, and I think we should do something to help, like give some shelter and food so they can servive.
I think the earthquake is a big deal and people should try to go on a rescue mission to help people find new homes. When I first heard about this, I was horrified.I just wish I could help.:(
Here we have been experiencing so many aftershocks and the capital is still paralyzed, but things are getting slightly better. People in Tokyo are limiting their use and sending electricity, water, gas and other stuff to the most suffered areas in the Northern Japan, but what we can do within the country is very limited. So far we have received so many aids, personals, donations from overseas and we really appreciate them, but thousands of people are still missing, incl. 500 foreigners, people up north don't have enough gas to heat themselves up, food to feed themselves, clothes to protect themselves from the severe snowy weather. If you could spare us a little more help and concern, we'd appreciate them more than anything else. Thank you.I am prying for you japan! Keep in mind that you are loved by people everywhere.
Hi Japan!!!!!!!, I know that you are passing a bad moment, but now you dont have to be in the past you have to be in the present. We are going to help you, so be happy and never sad,you are going to be all good.
BEST WISHES
PAULA, MADRID
SPAIN
I think that we should definitely do everything we can to support Japan in their time of need and I think that in time (most likely years) it will rebuild itself since it IS a technologically-advanced country, while the lesser countries (in economic and financial terms) such as Haiti, will have a much more dificult time rebuilding its community. But even so, we should still reach out to them.
I feel dearly sorry for Japan and feel everyone should make whatever effort they can to help, but Japan is the only one in trouble or effected by this. Hawaii, Western California, and some parts of alaska have also been minorly effected; also, this will effected both our and other countries' economies aswell. What, with all of the trading and other things like that. Another thing to think about is the technology industry, Japan played a big role in that; how will that effect the world? I love Japan greatly, in fact it's one of my favorite countries, but even though the destruction of Japan and the safety of their people is a very big concern right now, we have to remember that it's not the only issue.
I hope everything turns out O.K. Japan(:...
God bless them!
its horrible that this happened and we should do all we can do to help.
period.
I think all of the schools around should donate at least two or three dollars to help Japan recover.
What would happen next?Ever since that happened i started praying for the people that had to go through all this.I think we should give them all the help they need
This is a very sad time for Japan. It made it even worse that they weren't expecting it. And everybody should pitch in. I mean after all, one little good deed can make a big difference.
Hello people!!! We have to help Japan like it's our home town.If that happened to us and no one helped we'd be in soo much trouble. so help...for their sake.
To those in Japan,
I can not imagine the pain u must be feeling and even though you may have lost a lot you have never lost hope, love, and courage you have just become more appreciative of these qualities. That is why we admire and love you. Every second you are on our minds and will be praying for you but in the meantime dont be clouded over by the situation.Learn to dance in the rain and pick yourself up again. You are heroes and you will do great things in this world. You just have to BELIEVE in yourself, the people around you, and the power of God.
Much Love,
Students in America, including myself
Dear Students,
We have been closely following the tragedy in your country in our history class and are devastasted by your loss. This past Friday our school organized a fundraiser and we gave the prceededs to the Red Cross for the relief funds. Its impossible to imagine your situation, but we encourage you all not to give hope. We admire your country's strength throughout this situation.
The disaster in Japan is lust so tragic! All of those people suffered something so horrible!
We all have to help Japan out! They need all the help they can get! Hope you recover Japan
Hope they fix the radiation leak so they don't have a meltdown. 🙁
i think that japan needs prayer i know i will be praying for the people of japan and hope that you will to.
i hope all the kids in japan young and old find their llost loved ones it must be pretty scary for everyone and i hope they find they find everyone who is lost and help heal one injured
i hope that each one ine japan will be fine after the disaster.
I am a southkorean and even after the events japan and our country had, we give them everything we can to support them. The world has to come together (like when Haiti got an earthquake) and help not only save japan but our world.
I think the U.S should pitch in some money to them to help everybody in japan
I hope it doesn't end up like Hati.
I believe that Japanese can rebuild Japan for themselves, because they can help each other to overcome this situation. Showing our kindness to Japanese from many countries can encourage them.
its a big tragedy to all of us but sort of our falt to, if we were ready
there would have been less damage but, we didnt know that it would happen. I also think we should all try to help japan so no ones still
in the rubble of the quake, tsunami, and after shocks.
In my mind i dont think we should be giving Japan Tons of money, if this ever happened to us do you think country would be giving us billions of dollars, i dont think so. We need to lower our donations to Japan. Yeah sure they are in need of help but they got through world war II by themselves they can get through this.
It is very sad what has happened in Japan, I think people should do something to help the people there. We should all donate at least a dollar or two to help them.
I will start up a non shance charity
Hola!
I give you my support. I'm so sorry about your situation, but don't worry. Everybody is with you. All the world is sending you help but above all is sending you effort to afront this difficult moments. I belive (and hope) that this will stop soon.
Good luck!
Paula, Spain.
Hang in there Japan, help is coming soon.
I am doing everything i can bc these people dont deserve these tragities. We need to help them.
i feel bad for all the japan people and we are all praying for everyone there. also for all the children!
woow are you all ok i give all my hopes and dreams to you all and i hope that you all can be happy for now to now
i think it's bad that the tsunami made alot of damaged and i wish i can help them if i was their i would do what ever it would take and i thought it was so scary of the earthquake and the tsunami but i hope they would find a home with food and everything.
It's hard to belive such a devastating thing could happen like that. I hope they will recover soon and all the missing will be found alive.
I'm sorry for what happen in japan if was the president I will do everything I canto help your county im very very very very vet very very very very soory
I'm very sorry
I am a student from South Korea. We are all feeling very sorry for Japan and have decided to put aside our bad feelings from the past. Everyone is trying to help Japan, even if it's a smaal thing. Remember that you are not alone, Japan!
we all got to help because if it was us japan would help us like we are helping japan. I think we all can do are part. SO THINK ABOUT IT OK!!
I give my heart to the students in Japan and know that with this accident that there country will recover.
I can understand the importance of helping Japan. However, we as Americans need to realize that we need to help ourselves before another country. America barely has enough money to support itself, so why use the money we don't have to help a foreign country when we are in need. It may sound harsh, but it is reality.
I would do wat ever i could could do to help i fell so bad for what happend to japan i would do to help
I feel bad for the people in Japan. I hope that Japan and the people there recover the damage.
Hi, i think all countries have to help japan at this moment, we all now that japan is one of the most prepared countries for earthquakes and tsunamis.I think that if all people put a dolar,o a euro we could have millions of dolars. This people need our help and now are more than 21.000 counting dead and missing people but a thing this country will be good in some years.
Madrid, Spain
i'm praying every night for those suffering in japan. god bless you japan
People need to help Japan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am rate money for Japan. People need to help Japan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we will help to teach the people.
i wish i could donate money but i have none but i hope i encourage everyone else too.if i was in japan i would really appreciate it too.thank you.
i wish i could donate money but i have none but i hope i encourage everyone else too.if i was in japan i would really appreciate it too.thank you. 🙂
dont give up keep hope
what happen is japan is very sad. I know a lot of people are doing all they can to help. People in Japan: I hope you get good help and hope your country grows from this disaster and I hope you all stay strong:)
feel very bad about the earthquake and the tsunami that recenrly happened in Japan Hundreds of lives gone away by that tsunami and now there are probably about 900 people alive. And if every one was able to donate money anywhere it would be an amazing turn out. But sadly, when Japan was at it's normal place on the map, after the quake and the tsunami, Japan got moved 8 ft to a different place. So now, there is no clothes, food and no shelter for all the living people there. GOD BLESS JAPAN ♥ AND AL THAT ARE THERE 3

I's just sad in Japan. It looks like some one just threw a lot of wood on Japan.
Japan is fighting for their lives right now they are so brave to go through that. I think we should get money from anybody who wants to donate and give it to them to rebuild.
I feel sorry for those people.
if the people of japan band together the process will work better and we will help out to.
I feel sorry for the Japanese people.
alot of people lost their lives to the tradegy but earth has its natural ways and the nucluer acters if they release it would be a bad thing
I am sorry for the people in Japan but it happens.
I think it was realy bad for them first a twsamie and an earthqukake. I hope they can recover.
what hapened in china is a bad thing
I know that the earthquake was really bad and detroyed everthing of yours but just be happy that your alive and you might be living a bad life right know but just be glad your there!!
Honestly i think that Japan is working its hardest, but i think they need some help. We should do our best to help.
The earth quake didn't suprize me but the tsunomie did, if the wall they put up whould have been bigger then they wouldn't have had to cleen up much rubel
Japan had many earth quakes and they will recover it would be like the San Francisco 30 years ago and i hope that the nuclear proplem ends like There Mile Island and hopefully not like Chernoby. And if some thing like Chernobly happens lets hope that it is a small town not city like Tokyo.
I feel sorry for all of the familys that had to go through this because i went through somthing like this and this is not fun at all.I did not go throgh a earthquck but my house burnt down to the ground and it was very bad.I lost everything in there to.It was really bad.I did not lose none of my family but i still lost a lot of stuff.I just hope one day all of the people who went through this is okay and wish them good luck in there life they got ahead and let them knjow eveything is going to be alright.
personally Japan needs to ask for other people to help them with the reactors at the moment the are not doing well and things could just get worse.
I feel so bad for japan.
I feel bad for the people in Japan. I think that all the countries around the world should help Japan during this crisis that Japan is going through.
I think people should send food and other resources to Japan so they can start working on rebuilding there towns.
well we can start by giving them more water and help them get the cooling sestem fixed
i feel sorry for the people who lost there life because of this mess.
they have tp clean a big mess in japan. it not right for alot of families be be lost in crazy mess.
hope it stops
i feel bad for them they keep haveing after shocks in japan and they are still finding people in house and in car they fond a body in a car and there is a man in is house and they can not get to him at all. because there are people are dead and hurt and they are workimg on the nucler plant and the people that are woring in the plant are not safe because they have to go in and fix stuff.
well we can start by givingthem more water and help them get the cooling sestem fixed. I would also send solders to help them find the surfivors
I feel bad for japan because they lose their homes and cars and family i will feel better if japan get want they have before.
I think what is happening in Japan is really not a good situation and i hope that they can pull through with re-buliding. I think that japan is one of the stronger nations so therefore they should be able to pull through without a problem.
I think the disaster in Japan is horrible. But i also think its a good thing that the United States is going to help them rebuild Japan.
i think what happened was very tragic but we could not have done anything besides be warned, i think its good that many people are trying to help Japan to most of their ability but also Japan should be watching the radio activity around that area thats also very important.
i feel sorry for all of them. i cant imagine the pain all the families feel. i hope that they fix everything and get going agin
i hope they fix everything and find everyone that is still alive.
I think that it's sad that all of those people are missing and/or dead. Also, they have to worry about cleaning up and planning on rebuilding.
I believe the tragedy in Japan is, in a twisted way, something good. Not in the way that thousands of people died and millions of homes were lost. In the way that so many people are offering help to Japan. It's bringing nations together for one cause. So to all you out there suffering, hold on. Help is coming and you ARE strong enough to pull through!
I feel really bad for those who lost their home and family. I want help out some how.Ican send clothes andblanket or some money or can food everything i can.I need to know how and where. My pray are with you. It's a sad thing what happen .keep the hope that you find your love one .And you will and .get back on your feet
to all of the people in japan just hang in there help is on the way other countries are doing all they can to help
It is very sad what happend to the people of Japan. It was very tragic and unexpected. Just stay strong and keep your chin up. Do not lose faith and you will be helped.
I think it is very very bad and that they need to hurry and find all of the survivors in the ruble before they die.
I think people should all go and help japan and send search parties to that area
i think the tragedy in japan is horrable because they have the earthquake and the tsunami
I feel very bad for the people in Japan. I hope they recover as soon as possible. I will be praying for everyone that was there to experience the horrble disaster.
Well, after that extremely unfortunate sequence of events, I think everyone around the world should count his or her blessings. Every one of us has it better than they do right now, and we should be thankful for what God has given us. In addition, we should show our support for the people of Japan, perhaps by donating money or supplies. I'm sure every bit of assistance means a lot to them.
I feel really sad about the people in japan i hear the place moved 8 feet and it droped the elevation. we should help them as much as we can. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER JAPAN:):):):):):):)::):)::)):)::):):):)
The people Japan are in deep trouble. The earthquake and tsunami caused a lot of damage. I wish I could go there and help out all the people affected by the disasters.
The incouraging words for people in Japan are "Never give up, there is always hope, even in the darkest times"
i just hope every one is found
Dear students:
Hello from Madrid, Spain. I´m very sorry about the disaster you had living. I wish you and your family are OK. Catastrophes like the one on Japan, don´t occur here in Spain, for that reason I can not know how those who now are reading this message exceeds the time so intense. It sure was difficult and hard. Therefore I wish you well in the future to all.
Kishes
i'm sure all the world konws what is hapening to Japan. But what is the use to know if we don't help them!!

Hello Japanese. I hope you are doing okay. I know that this recent earthquake(s) and tsunami that you are all in great sorrow. Lady GaGa has made braclets she is selling and all the profits go to you, helping you repair and rebuild. Justin Bieber has donated 1 million dollars out of his pocket to help your rebuilding. Good luck; America is praying for you.
I fell sorry for the people in japan. All i can say is don't give up and don't say never.
Japans disasters have really opened peoples eyes and even my Father will be donating. Just the earthquake alone is crazy and then for a Tsunami to hit!!! Thats horrible, and rare.
i think it's sad beause everyone is dieing because of the diaster and we should help them
The Tragedy is horrible.
I am very sad that something like this has to happen, and connot believe the destruction that it brought. The devastation is just so mind blowing, my prayers go to those affected by this disaster

I hope you are all doing well in Japan. I know it must be hard. I hope you all get through this horrible devistation.
I think that is horrible all that is happening. We should help as much as we can.
What has happen is a great tradegy that will remain a part of our thoughts for years to come. What we must do now, at this very moment, is stand up and help them in their time in need because chances are that they would do the same for us if it ever happened, hopefully not. Bless everyone in Japan and my heart goes out to all the the families and individuals that went through this catastrophe.
i feel really horrible because i have 5 different friends in japan and i can only get comuication with 3 of them and i have also donated money for the red cross and food to help.
Japan my family and i are praying for you!!!
Japan, my family and i are praying for your safty and we send our love.
I feel really bad for them, they didn't deserve any of the things that happen. If people say California was hit bad then they should really think of where it started from and how those people over there are feeling. Also I think that more countries should get involved in helping these guys out, especially because they make almost all of our things. I send Hope and Love over to Japan!
I think that America should pitch in and help out them the most because they are people who are our friends and they would do the same thing for us I hope if we were in that situation.
i feel real bad about what happened to japan. knowing this country for their strenght to rebuild after tragic disaster they will have no problem getting back on their feet.
I fell really bad for the people in Japan, I want them to know that we're thanking about them and praying for them.
I certainly hope we can all overcome this terrible tragedy in Japan. Hopefully everyone will stand by the country and give out in anyway that they can. I just can't believe the damage and sure hope that this will again hopefully never happen again.
i think its terible what happend in japan i want to help but im too young
:(:(:(
I feel really bad for all those people.Japan hasnt had a earthquake that big in a long time.I also feel bad for all the people that are probably suffering under all of the destroyed houses.I hope the best for them
Lately, I have been watching CNN Student News, and I fappened eel horrible about what happened in Japan. I have been praying for the people remaining in Japan. It was the most horrible thing I have ever seen in my whole life. I will continue praying for them and keep watching CNN Student News, but until then, BYE!
if my parents let me go to japan i would help them out
thous people do not deserve that i really hope the get better and the tsunami just happen so fast wow
Japan is in my prayers. I couldn't even imagine this happening to us here. The workers at the power plant are defitnitely true heroes. They are putting their life on the line for millions of other people. Please listen to the following though:
We need to send aid, but we mostly need there is doctors. They have overcrowed hosiptals and thats where we need to be to save lives. Obama needs to get on Japan. Maybe if he tries and thinks of great ways to fix everything there and fast, I and some other people may have more respect for the man. Please think about this. Thank you for your time, when you read this.
it is such a tragedy that a quake and tsunami hit Japan
If i was there now, i would spend all my time helping the people of Japan
i hope that the man in house during the quake is safe and not died
The country of japan needs our help America!!
I hope that shortly Japan will overcome this devstating tragedy. My heart goes out to everybody affected by this disaster. It is a shame that it had to happen.
We really should do something to help for Japan. Haiti's at least getting up and about with their election, but Japan is still getting aftershocks that may just cause more damage for them. Japan is a big part of America in the business department, so whatever Japan's working on – tsunami and/or earthquake related or not – America should be part of it, too. So, we need to help and get working fast if we want Japan up and about just as Haiti is!
Japanese people should be honored for their courage and bravery for surviving this earthquake and tsunami. Everyone should honor them properly and respectfully. ^-^
God bless Japan!
i just want ot say thanks to alll the helpers find the people that are trapped and caught under all that ruble
I just want to say thank you for all the people that are getting the people out of the debris that is a very thankful thing to do for the family united together and that is a relief to the family
I think this is a horrific natural disaster. I hope the people in Japan are getting the support and resources they need to survive and rebuild thier lives
You cannot change the fact that bad things happen but you can help when they do. Just being aware of these things is the first step in helping.
i would be mad if a earthquake has hit my home house
I am really praying for a miracle in Japan. My family and I have been looking at what we can do to help the people and I really hope that students around the world are encouraged to help too.
Nobody in my family can believe what happened in Japan. We have been praying for them every day. It's hard to imagine what children my age (and all ages) are going through right now in Japan, especially those who have lost family. I REALLY want to help them in any way possible!
I really hope that they would recover soon... I heard that it would take at least 5 years to recover completely, but nevertheless, it could be done faster if we all pull together!!! ♡ ♡ ♡
We think the tragedy in Japan was horrible! more people should help with the tragedy. People should donate food to help the workes that are brave enough to stay. we should represent the people in Japan that are staying to help out. They need tractors to dig up all the mess. Most people are very worried because alot of the world and culture is there. it will effect our seasons. we hope that they will be okay and see what we can do to help!
This is terrible to listen about and to see the damage before our eyes. I hope the citizens of Japan will have hope and remain strong. Help is on the way Japan just stay faithful and ignore the damage.
i feel bad for the people in japan and my aunt's parents. i hope they are okay. the damage in japan must've been really bad for them and i hope the servivers don't die from radiation.
t's such a horrible sight on the news, seeing the catastrophe that has happenned in that area.
This is a huge tragedy for the people in Japan. They are in everyones prayers and hearts. They are a strong country and will get through this natural disaster. Bad things just keep happening to them over and over. First the earthquake, then the tsunami, and now the nuclear generators. They just can't catch a brake.
I feel bad about what happend to Japan. i hope they get things controll. also i like to say i like pie
For the people in Japan i hope you are all right and you have family to get through this with.
I hope that they don't get disease over in japan like they did in Hatti. I will be hoping that they will be alright until they can fix everything that was damaged. I just wish that I could go over to Japan and help them out. I hope that they will be fine until they recover.
i just hope for the best of all of the people, and try sending things to help them out.
I think this is a horrible disaster... Prayers are sent their way!
It is such a tradegy to see people like this. I feel very bad that they have to go through such a thing. I am very sorry. 🙁
Dear students:
I haven been thinking about it.
I never live a disaster so horrible as that one. But believe me, I think that if somethinghappen here in Spain such as a tsunami or an earthquake, probaly I will be horribly scared. For this reason, I give to you all my best wishes to the future.
Cross your fingers. Maibe his could be the last movement of the Earth!!!
Dear Japan:
you are a very strong country, i think that in few years you are going to regain normal. because if you survive to a war, you are going to survive to an earthquake.
Good luck.
This is all just really sad, all of that destruction. Just imagine: an 8-foot wall of water coming at you 500 miles an hour! Now that's scary! I feel really bad for all who had families who died.
i really do feel bad those counties who are helping are really nice. Japan needs are help and we should help them.
i reach out to japan. i pray for them and i hope everyone is fine and dandy.to any one in japan don't lose hope. i will try my best to dom what i can.
my heart goes out to japan i hope everyone there is okay and if not please do not loose hope.i'll do what i can to help out as much as i can.
I will being parying for you Japan, don't lose hope.I hope you all are heathy, and no ration is hurting you.
I nearly fainted when I heard what happen in Japan. The tsunami and the earth caused many to pass away ,I really hope other contries help out Japan.
i think the people can served without death
if the earthquake destory homes, job,or schools i'm going help them
As soon as i seen the tsunami i was shocked i wish i was there to help you guys and be able to put you guys in a home with a roof over your head and with beds, rooms, pillows, blankets, and vecihcles .If i had money i would buy that stuff for you and cloths, even tho im to young i would donate stuff for you guys to live and if your hungry or if your not i will still buy you food to eat and then you will be full and not straving to death
i think that this is very saddening, we should help Japan because if this happened to the U.S, we would want everyone to help us in our cause. i hope this will never happen again in many of our lifetimes and generations
I really would be sad if I was in an earthquake.I have a friend in Japan
and I hope she is ok I think it's sad.
i feel bad but things do happen and alot of people died its an every day thing that people die but this was a disaster and as long as that nuclear thing does not go off and kill more people in japan im good but i hope they get better soon.Bye
i hope people still keep hold it on what you thinking of
I think that the U.S. should have a fundraiser. I think that we would bring in a great deal of money. We should respect what Japan has gave us, we should help them out. There is no reason to be cruel because they trade with us!!!!!! They are really important because almost everything we have is from Japan.
I think that the people in Japan and in the usa should help in Japan so it can help everything that has been going on lately
I feel hurt that the tragedy in japan happen after the earthquake that was something huh just pray that it wont happen again i will pray for the people in japan OK and have a good day.
I hope that they recover soon because that is very dreadful and I am really sad that this had to happen to them.
I feel sad for the poor people in Japan, having to go through the earthquake and tsunami. I hope they rebuild their homes soon, get the medical attention they need and forget those awful experiences soon.
Me and my friend, Amanda, are raising money at our school to donate to the Red Cross, because I want Japan to recover. We started yesterday, and now we have almost $20. I wish them the best of luck!
I think that what happened to Japan was terrible and that the whole world should help out with the clean up
I feel bad for the people on Japan. All those houses are gone. The thing we could do at least is pitch in some money . It wouldn't even matter if was a dollar. Thousands of bodies were gone in that Tsunami. I feel bad for them. I hope that they are okay.
I think that what happened in Japan is really tragic. If I was older I'd want to come out and help.A lot of people are coming out. Why did that happen to you.I wish you luck.
.
I feel so sorry for Japan because how much damage they had. Houses
were knocked down in Japan. If you think about how many people was killed or injured
during that time. I hope this never happens again to the people in Japan.
I think that the people in Japan can recover and start up their usual life after a while because the country survived the earthquake and tsunami so they should be able to stop a nuclear meltdown, and start their way of life again soon. Best wishes
I fell so sad for what happened in Japan if I could do anything I would do it. If I could go down there and help I would i wish that the tsunami came here in stead of going there killing all of those people.
I feel sorry for Japan because they have to face all of that stuff and they have a to face the fact that they had a earthquake. They could have died form all the damage form the earthquake and the aftershock.
I think the students of Japan should volunteer and donate to help your community and environment to clean up. So consider this, I wish you all good luck and safe lives. Other people should raise money like sell cookies and rebuild houses for money. I hope you all stay safe and this never happens again.
I think that the tragedy in Japan was horrible I feel sorry for them. I wish them luck and the people who really got hurt I hope they get better. The things that happened in Haiti that really hurts and I now it happened to Japan why does it happens. The earthquakes is a disaster to the places it happened in.
I think the tragedy in Japan was horrible. A lot of homes were destroyed and I feel so bad for all of the people who lost there love ones. I pray a miracle will happen, and I hope something like this will never happen to Japan again.
After the tsunami it was really sad to see how things looked in Japan. It was sad to see the pieces that once was part of a house on the ground scattered in pieces. I really hope the problems in Japan turn around for the best, because the best is what they deserve. I know that things will get better in time. I also know that Japan will recover and be a strong state once again.
I feel terrible about the tragedy in Japan. Im glad websites, stores and ordinary pedestrians are raising money to help Japan. Japan needs to stay positive and keep fighting to get things better.
They should send their best team of newkler team in to test it and see what made the smoke rise out of the building and have the smarts scientist go in and test the air to see what type of gas is in their.
I think what happened in Japan was awful. Also I think that they should move some were different.I feel bad for the people in Japan. We should donate our money to the people in Japan. It was like what happened to Haiti. I also feel bad for the people who died. Japan is a large country. How did that happen?
I think what happen in Japan is horrible because I can picture my self being in a situation like that. I don't know how it feel to be in a earth quake because i never been in one before but when I just viewed the video it looked and seemed sad. All the people who got killed, and injured. You all have my heart and my soul and my prayers (= <3.
The tragedy in Japan is terrible but if they just keep there heads up high everything will be okay. When I heard about what happened I was devastated and even more devastated about what happened after the earthquake. Japan is somewhat like Haiti, something terrible happened and slowly good things happened. Japan has my best wishes to get better.
I think that if we work together we can beat this.
Do you think so?I would love to help.
Because I know that the Japanese would help us if that happened.
Do you think? I know, because our country are good friends.
The horrible tragedy that has happened in Japan is very very heart breaking because it hit 250 miles into Japan. All I am saying is I hope they find all the dead or injured bodies and get back up on their feet .
I feel sorry for the people in Japan because Japan is good place and I don't think they deserve to be in that sort of destruction.
I can't even say how bad I hurt for them they are in a really situation. I can't even picture my self in that situation. They stay strong not putting there heads down, keep hope, never let go, GOD is coming for you. You might be going thought this now but late you got blessings coming for you. GOD never leaves you nor never forsake you! I wish you all the best of luck I really hope GOD hear your prayers! You all will be in my prayer ! Good luck 🙁
I think Japan can get pass the reactors and the hurt and pain of losing love ones. I know all japanese people will live the way they did before they lost every thing. I just want to say that they should keep trying to get those reactors fixed
I think that the people in Japan feel sad because they had a earthquake and they need money to buy their things. I wish I was there because I would have helped them out even though I'm young.
In my opinion I think that the event was very bad. I feel the pain for the people in Japan for there loss and hope that if any loved ones are still missing that they are found alive. If I was old enough I would drop everything and volenteer to go there representing our country and help dig through all the ruble. I know that anyone who has sympathy would do that to.
I think the that Japan should go to other countries for help , because some people are still stuck under the wood that fell down and maybe with a little help more people can be found. I the US should raise money for Japan.
Since Japan had this big earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear radiation poisoning, I think that we should do everything we can to help them out like donate money, food, and other things.
I feel Super bad for japan because I wonder what it would be like if it was us in that situation. I would be super scared and a lot of people would die. I fell the worst about how nobody knew about the tsunami so the people that thought they had a chance probably didnt because the tsunami washed them all away. I would be absoultely TERRIFIED!
The disaster that happened in Japan was dreadful. I was shocked when I heard about it. I never seen anything like that before in my entire life. If I have seen it before it would of been a small one. But in Japan they had a earthquake, tsunami. and also a nuclear disaster with radiation which makes the people of Japan scared. I WILL PRAY FOR EVERYONE AT JAPAN for your safety every day until you guys are back up on your feet being safe.
I feel really bad for the people in Japan. But I also want to say good job for hanging on in the earthquake and the tsunami. I'll pray for you and hope that every thing goes well. I will do any thing that will help any of you people. I will send you food, clothes, shelter and water any thing you want just look me up on face book and send me a message and I will respond to you as fast as I can.
When I heard about it, I was surprised but also a bit scared. I was scared for the people living there, but I was also surprised because that is such a big earthquake. The tsunami was the worst part. I think it did the most damage. I also hope that they get the nuclear power plants under control soon.
I feel soo bad for the people in Japan. I think people should do everything they can to help out Japan and I hope they can rebuild their country so everyone can come back who has left. I just hope everyone there knows that the whole world is supporting you guys!
What happened in Japan was a tragety. None of those people deserved this. All we can really do is pray and hope. People have lost their homes, families, and their lifes. All they really have now is hope, hope is all you could ever have at a time like this. I hope they can cope with such a great tragety.
I think that if we help out japan than they would become better friends to us.
i think that it is bad that japan had a earthquake i also hope everyone is alright alot of countrys are helping on food and shelter and support and i think those countrys have done good for helping the japanese.
I hope and pray that everyone in Japan is safe and healthy. It is a true tradgedy. They have been though so much and need our help.
we want to help and support to rebuild japan to its full potenial. Getting to help japan will be difficult and lots of work and money.
I think it is horrible because people arent helping as much as they can and i think it will affect the whole entire world. I think we can help even if it means one can of soup. It will even help by making them a card. they will have hope and know that we care about them.
hope and pray that everyone in Japan is safe and healthy. It is a true tradgedy. They have been though so much and need our help. We should donat money and try and help the people in Japan.
i think that what happened is a tradegy but also if that happened to us they wouldnt help so i dotn think its a good idea helping them cause it might come back and bite me in the butt.
I pray for you every night i'm setting up a bake sale with friends to raise money. People in japan stay strong i'm sending money.
Hi Japan. I´m Rubén. I live in Madrid, Spain.
My encouraging comment is:
Be strong. You´ll get out of this nuclear crisis and Japan will be rebuild in a very short period of time. Countries like United States and even Spain are helping in this task. Soon, the earthquake and the tsunami will be history and will forget this desaster.
My teacher Ms. Kolarich her family is in Japan. She has not spoke to them in a WEEK.
My Dear Students in Japan,
When I first learned about the the tsunami/earthquake, I was speechless, terrified, horrified, amazed but MOST importantly I felt your pain. I may only be a fourth grader in elementary school, but unlike my peers, I see things differently. As you scroll down this webpage, remember you are not alone. So many people are working really hard to help you recover from this disaster. I cannot truthfully say that the family members you may or may or may not have lost will be found neither will they be healthy if you do find the again. I don't know the full impact of this treacherous natural assault to your country. All I know is that you CANNOT lose hope. We will work to protect you as best as we can.
Goodbye, your friend Olivia
WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!! Don't forget it
I hope for the best for Japan with the toxens and the earthquake aftershocks.... I hope that the ones who are still trapped and lost out in the rubble will be found and returned to their loved ones hoping and praying for them everynight. This is really hard to imagine if it had happened to us in the U.S.. We are very lucky people... I hope for the best. ♥
I hate the fact that this has happened to Japan or in that case, anywhere that this could have happened. My heart is with you guys over seas and I hope that everything gets fixed up very soon. My club, the Interact Rotary club, is doing two fundraisers in the upcoming weeks to help the people in Japan. The first one is having students pay 1 dollar to get a wrist band so that they can go wear pajamas to school for a day and the second is paying a dollar to get your pinkie painted purple and all the money is going to Japan =).
Wow, that is sad about the earthquake. I hope things get better
The tragedy in Japan hit them hard, and although there are other problems in the world right now I think everyone should stop and take a stand to help Japan recover.
Japan is a really strong country, i believe that they will be able to come back from this within the next few years with help from the rest of the world. Tragedies really suck but in the long run they make youh stronger.
One of my very close friend Suna, who is from Japan, moved back there three weeks before the diasaster. Luckily, they were able to leave their families estate and fly to England very soon. Suna's father has a travelling job. I'm happy that they were able to escape.
But as for the victims and those unlucky. I offer my prayers. I just wish we could solve problems before they happened.
If everyone at your school donated at least $5.00-$20.00 we could earn enough money to maybe give to the red cross or some other organization that helps countries that are affected by natural disasters so, they could buy medication, food, water, etc......
This is tragic 🙁
I think everyone should donate 5-20 dollars and give it to an organization that helps countries that have been hit by a natural disaster so they can by food water and more:-)
we hope japan has strength to make their world a better place
This is a complete tragedy alot have people have lost there lives because of a weather disaster the only thing thats making this better is that all those people are helping eachother out because unity will be the only thing to bring that country back together.
First off, I would like to send my Best wishes to everyone in Japan who lost a loved one, or has a loved one missing. I'd also like to give a shoutout to anyone helping out there. You are the men and women who give broken / lost families hope. To everyone in Japan, the world is with you, with hopes for your well being.
i really do feel bad about this tragedy in japan. the people there have lost love ones and if i was in that problem i would wanna help them too. the first time i heard this story i thought that japan would never be the same again. so i don't know what i can do but pray and hope that they don't have another one soon.
i feel bad about what happened in japan if i could i would sell lemonade for 2.00 for people so i would send the money to japan then they would get some money and they could rebuild slowly and it would be like nothing happened
With what has happened with Japan it is scary. The people who has survived are lucky because most people with that disaster that i saw dont survive and there are only a hand ful of people that were found.
I think people will rebuilt Japan in no time, I feel bad for Japanese people after the earthquake
I think what happened in Japan is really bad and sad. They lost family, friends, homes and even pets. I would really like to know how I could help Japans tragedy in anyway I can.
I think the disaster in Japan was horrible, it ruined their lives. I would donate all the money i had to help those people. 🙁
With what has happened with Japan it is scary. The people who have survived are lucky because most people with that disaster that I saw, don't survive and there are only a handful of people that were found.
thanks carl because if you never told me i would have ever knew about the tragedy now i feel sad for them my whole class does 🙁 but that was so unbelievable it gets me almost believing in 2012 and i think that was nice of the black eyed peas to make the video for them i'm just focused on japan – Manuel
I hope that peiople in japan have enough food for a couple weeks so that we have time to help them even more
i think that with the help of every other county out there they will be fine. i love japan!!!!!!!!
I think that we should be helping out in Japan, because they are our allies. I also think that if you can you should try and help out in whatever way possible. We as a nation should be helping out each other and our friends.
I feel really bad to the people in Japan. I think that we should try and raise a good amount of money and donate it to them!
I think that people in Japan should leave or help out. I feel bad for them because so many people died and their country is messed up. They were hit by tsunamis and an earthquake with many aftershocks. A nuclear plant also exploded and I also heard that there was a volcano before the earthquake. I think every country should help Japan.
I think that we can do a lot to help all of the people in Japan. We can send money, food, water, or even clothes. Anything would help people get through this, and they do want help. If you live there you can share your house, or help rebuild many houses. Even the smallest things can help them out a lot.
I feel so sorry for the Japanese because there home is destroyed and they don’t deserve that no one does. I wish I could go and help any way I could because if that happened to me I would like help.
I think that if you are in Japan to get ou or help out. All of the other countries are helping you even people in South Korea who had very bad conflicts with Japan in the past. So if you are in Japan and out of your house at least try and help these people.
This is such a tragedy. I feel so bad. I hate when things happen like this. It makes me so upset. And then people say how bad there day and life is, but have you EVER suffered as badly as These poor people in Japan are? Have you EVER thought about that?
I feel really sympathetic for the people in Japan. I think the people who complain about their depressing lives is pathetic compared to what the people in Japan have to endure right now. I wish I, myself could do more to help.
I think that the tragedy that struck Japan was very sad and heart breaking. If it was only the earthquake that occurred, then maybe the damage wouldn't be so bad. But instead, the tsunami came afterwards too. Which, as a result, made things a lot worse than they should be. I think that we should try and do everything we can to help and hope for the best.
I think it's really devastating of what had happened in Japan. I would do anything to help them in some way i could.
I hope that japan could get all the help that they can get because if we were in the same pain we would want the same thing that we gave them.
I hope Japan gets all the help and I want to say all the people in Japan that lost their lives to the earthquake and the tsunami rest in peace :,(
I think it's horrible what happened, I didn't think the affects would be so bad. I'd do anything to help, like start a fund raiser or something.
lets think about what happend to japan think about and what if that happend to us and help out by donating money
I feel really bad for the people in Japan. They lost a lot of loved ones. They also lost there homes. I think we should all help out by donating some money. We should also keep them in our prayers. It is a terrible tragedy. I hope that Japan gets better and gets back to the way they were. I also hope that they get a lot of help.
if everyone donated at 1 or 2 dollars it could make a diffrence because supplies could be bought and new homes could be rebuit for the homeless
what happened in japan reminds us of how fragile life is and how much we have to enjoy everything life brings our way because it might be here today but tomorrow people you love and care about could be gone before you know it . I give my best wishes to the great people of japan god bless them watch over them and secure them and help them recover from this horrible tragedy.
I know that natural disasters happen all of the time, and they cause a lot of harm to people and their homes. But I have hope that they will recover from all of the damaged caused in the quake/tsunami,and will stay strong and have faith.I may not know what its like to have my house distorted looking and throne all over the place, but i know what its like to loose a family member. It may feel like the world is cruel to you and i but just think they might be happy in whatever place they are in.so feel happy for the because they don't want to see you cry.Just think, you always feel like you have someone watching you and it might just be a family member that you lost that day.
This tsunami wrecked this decrnt place I hope they overcome this horrible trgedy:(
The tragedy in Japan is terrible, so many lives lost, so many things ruined. On the upside, this disaster has shown the true character of the Japanese people. Through an earthquake, a tsunami, and a nuclear meltdown threat these people have remained strong, and many are positive of Japan's future. Plus, there have been no reports of people stealing or looting stores and houses in the hardest hit areas. This is a testament to the Japanese. For all Japanese students reading this, you guys are awesome!
earthquakes really shake people up (no pun intended) and it takes a while for japan to get back on its feet( again no pun intended) i know that Haiti is still trying to get back on their feet so its a good thing that so many countries help the areas effected by big earthquakes like this one and the one in haiti
my and my family's hearts are with Japan and the people who lost their loved ones. I hope that more people will be found alive.
I also believe that people would do it they put there minds to it
I am a friend of Molly's and our class sold out at the bake sale. We made more money than what we were hoping to make.
I think that people will not because they will feel uncomfortable with what they look like with every one to see them working out.
i think that people in the world should do everything in their power to help Japan rebuild itself and be happy again.?.?.?
i feel bad for japan
I think that the disaster in Japan is horrible, but i hope it will get better! When i pray I make sure I pray for them and all my thoughts are with them. I hope for the best for every one in Japan and i would do anything i can do to help I will try my best. I know that people really care and i know they are doing all they can to try to make it better! Good luck Japan!
I know it's very terrifying, depressing, and hard to deal with but they need to keep there head held high and keep going. Everything will get better with time.
theearth then the tsunami then radiation leak japan is strong it will build fast. Our class is sending stuff i think a lot of people should to
A lot has been said about the diaster. Many have expressed their sincerity and sorrow on this comment page, and I can't compete with their advice and beautiful words but I would all the japanese to know that they are all in our minds and heart, and, although we weren't directly affected by the earthquake\tsunami\nuclear reactor trouble we still feel your pain. We are doing what we can to help. I'm so sorry that I am just a kid. If I was an adult I would be over in Japan in a heartbeat.
I really hope that Japan can recover from such a disastrous tragedy, And for all those people who don't know whether your family is alive or not just keep wishing for the best and they WILL emerge to be with you again. Good Luck!
At my school I'm friends with three girls who are having a fundraiser where if you donate a dolar for Japan, you will get a ticket, 10 chances to win a free ice cream pass, and 1 chance to win a giftcard to DQ. So far they have raised $123.23 in three days. I would like to tell all of the children in Japan that if they believe, their dream for a safe place to live, the dream could come true.
The disaster that occurred in Japan is very serious and that it shouldn’t be taken lightly. Likewise, this will be a very tough time for the people of Japan to recover from. I think that with a little help from everyone we can help Japan rebuild what was lost during the disaster as well as giving them a brighter future to look forward to. Finally, for the students of Japan I wish them luck in their recovery from this tragic event and I want to remind them to think positive.
i think that japan is more scared than we are, if i was their i would be gone the first week if i could, and i also feel relay bad for them and they shouldn't half to go though this. All we half to do is raise lots of money and donate all we can and if we do that we can help japan.
I feel bad for japan and i hope we do something to help them. I think it is bad for them because lots of people are getting sick and some family members are still missing.
i think we should help the people in japan because think of it...... if that happened to us we would want help right?
I may not know any of the students over there, but I just want them to know that everything is going to be ok. Times get hard, and stuff happens. But I can assure them all, everything is going to be ok.
I will pray and hope for the people and children in Japan. I imagine it would be scary and hard for those people to cope with these hard times.
I feel sorry for Japan its really sad what happend to them. I whish i could help and i hope for them the best.
I feel bad for you guys in japan with the earthquake and tsunami. Then the fires and nuclear reactors now. I will do the best the I can to help you and a lot of other people are helping you.
I feel horrible for the peoplein Japan because some of there most important things went down becuase of the earthquake. I do want to say though, that yes we all know about the earthquake and we all are horrified by the disaster but at the end of the day when your thinking about all the people that did die, just be happy that your alive!
we should get a lot of rich people to share there money with the people who have nothing. 🙂
i think that it is so sad after watching the video, there is no one out on the streets and everyone is trying to leave japan.
I wish people all around could help out japan.I also think that japan is wonderful at handleing this diasaster.I think the people staying behind to work on the power plant are brave.
Honestly, some people think and say we are doing everything we can...Thats NOT true! We could be giving the food, clean water, and bring ANY other supplies needed! I do think that there are people that need to be found! People that are missing, BUT alive! I DON'T think that people would like to help as much as they wish!
If I were President I would help them. If I was an inventor I could make something that would help those people....and I could help the wars.I could help in bullying. I could help the earthquake to stop rumbling.
i hope people get through the tragady.
I feel bad i just hope every one that is still living gets out okay.
i just had a family member die in the earth quake in haiti last year so i do know what their going through. losing someone that you really love has a big impact on your life. im so sorry for the japanese and especially since i have a friend from there and she just lost her aunt. so anything i can do to help i will.
I feel bad and hope some people are ok and that there are still survivors out there
it is just terilble to see that happing over there
I feel so sorry for the people in Japan and i would be in horrific terror and i'm not one of those people who get scared really easy. Those people have to be brave.
I hope you and your country can get through this terrible time. I am thinking of you day and night. You can help make your country look better than it looks right now. I feel very bad for those you love and the things that are most dear to you that you lost in the earthquake and in the tsunami. I hope you will find a way to work every thing out. Good luck!
I know its a disaster, but whining and crying about it isn't going to make anyone feel better. Get up and do something about it. I'm starting a water bottle/cash donation at my school. 🙂 I think we should be coming together as the kids of the U.S. and help the people out! 😀
Haiti's earthquake was worse but Japan also had a tsunami which destroyed and washed away houses. I feel bad for them because there are people still not found and it is a bad loss for them.
leave iran and go help out in japan they are more in need then we are
THE PREZ SHOULD GIVE THEM WHAT THEY NEED SO THEY GET BETTER. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙁 🙂 🙁
children and familes in japen my prayers goes out to you you will get threw this bad times.
children and familes in japen my prayers goes out to you you will get threw these bad times.
I am having a break down, because of this...My mom,who is philopeno, has family spread all over asia!If the tsunami hit california it might have hit th phillopeans!
I feel really bad for the japanesse people. We should help out however we could be helping them out.
I say good luck to them. They need all the support from other countries as they can get. Mostly the nuclear reactor problems...
I am every sorry for what has happened. I hope that after this trgady that everyone will be safe and that I'm praying for there safty. God bless you all.
I wish Iran and Iraq could get along with America and there would be no more war. Just like the japans and Americans have.
I am praying for all of you people in Japan. I hope all of this will qucikly be fixed. If you just believe that God will help you, I know he will. I will continue to keep you in my prayers, but please remember to focuse on the PEOPLE areound you and not what has happend. 🙂 I hope and pray that all of your family members in Japan are safe!
I live in korea, and every day, I hear the disaster in japan is growing worse. I do hope japan get`s better.
I used to live in Japan. Today, none of my friends are living in Tokyo anymore. The possibility of nuclear radioactivity scared them away.
The worst part lays in what happened during the earthquake.
We are used and prepared for the usual 30 seconds level 4 earthquakes but not one of this magnitude nor that long period of time. My best friend Jason's nights are filled with nightmares after experiencing a near-to-death experience when the train he was in almost flipped over. So, I pray for him. I also pray for Leila whose 12 years old brother is still missing. He finished class early and was on his way home. Only he never got there. Most of all, I invite you all to make time for a minute of silence wherever you are.
Well, I live near in Japan, and I am very shocked. And we have very many evacueesin our contry. I hope Japan gets better.
I feel sorry for the people in japan so horrible i would do anything to help out!
I think our Country could do something to help Japan out to get them what we need, because what happened to them was not their fault and we could help them as much as possible.
I feel very bad for Japan, right now. This is a terrible disaster, but maybe this is Japan's chance for a new start. This may have happened to make Japan a stronger and a more aware country. The world is thankful for all the brave rescuers working diligently to find as many missing people as possible.
i fill bad 4 japan that what happen there.
I think it is a bad thing that happened. All the people missing and everything. They should put off all building, and every person should look through all the rubble and find the people.
I think the whole world should help the Japanese survive and rebuild. They are having a really hard time right now and they need our help!
I think that Japan has had way to many earthquakes and natural disasters, in the past 10 or 15 years, and still have so many people living there when all of them know what can happene over night o basicaly any time of day!
I would like to say what happened in Japan is truly tragic. Just to see all over the news pictures of what Japan looks like it makes me want to do something and help. People she help Japan!!! This also makes me think about everything that we complain about; it makes me take another look at what other people truly have to complain about. And that I'm fortunate for what I have and I should appreciate of what I have. I feel horrible about what happened and I think that people handled it very well by leaving Japan and going somewhere saver for a few days. I wish everyone the best in Japan!

Wow, I can't imagine what it must be like and what it must be like for the exchange student here at my school that is from Japan. I hope everything will resolve quickly and safely.
The tragedy in Japan is really sad. I think that all the countries should join together to help Japan. I feel that they need our help and we should come together as one ot help.
I hope they get some more help soon.=)
Japan will rebuild, it may take some time but Japan will be just fine in the future.
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really want to help !
I think that more people should try to help out with this. I also hope that the kids and grown ups are doing pk no more get hurt!!!
The peole in japan have enough to worry about with the (fukashami)? nuclear plants which could effect the U.S which could be fatal so i think we should help the plants and for the searchs for surviors.
I thank the tready in japan is sad because its effacting the poeple of around the and the poeple ihat come from japan
Such a terrible disaster, but I am tired of people telling me to take a radiation shower.
At your school we are having penny wars to raise money for the people in Japan. right now we have raised over $550 for you Japan. I hope that all of the problems can be fixed and citizens can return to there homes
I have read all about the Cows and milk products being tested for radation, but I have not seen anything about the fish in the sea. I for one see japan farm raised fish. Where else does the US get fish and are these fish contaminated? I would like to see an news artical on fish contamination and what is being done to protect us on this.
Thanks,
Mo
I am so........ very sorry about what happened to japan and the city.
i am also sorry for people in japan and hope they are okay
i also hope people are helping them
i am also sorry for people in japan and hope they are okay
i also hope people are helping them
I feel sorry for them. MY family donated 20 dollars each. There's 5 people in my family.
I understand that Japan needs our help and its a horrible but we shouldnt be giving them all our money.I understand that they helped us out when the Twin Towers were bombed but we cant keep giving our money away.I think we should help them a little bit but we are in debt. And again the government needs to pull it together!!!!!!!
i hope the people in japan are doing better and i hope people are sending money and other things for this horrible accident that occur in japan......
Earthquakes are life threatening disasters that can change lives permanetly. Our school had "Jammies for Japan", three days that you had to pay one dollar to wear your pajamas to school. All of the money went to support Japan. I think schools should do fundraisers like ours to help Japan while having fun. Just remember, wouldn't you like that if you were them?
It is so depressing to see all those innocent people get hurt, and seeing their loss makes me reconsider taking everyday life for granted. Seeing those people suffer like they are makes me want to support them as much as possible!
i belive that japan is in need of alot of help so every1 just try to help them as much as u can in any way u can
i thik they need help but be cant give them 2 much $ caust the u.s.a is allredy in debt to other countrys as i is
I love Japan culture and the things they have and I almost died when l herd this happen and my heart goes out to every family effected by this disaster. <3 for Japan

Stay strong. Do not let anything get in your way.
i think its incredibly sad how much japan is going thru, and it's not fair for them to have to deal with this natural disaster if you can even call it that. it's completely insane how much damage something like this can really do. i have family in japan and it was just good to hear that they're okay and save! it was the biggest releaf i've ever had in my life time.
I hope the people in Japan will come back and have the next generation rebuild the great city. there are many ways everyone can help to make Japan survive this crisis.
I hope everyone can look at it from the people in Japans perspective knowing everyone can make a difference we should help japan to thrive as it used to. I hope all the people lost will be found and that they all rebuild this great city. 🙂
I feel sorry for them it sad to know that some of my family was dead
My thoughts and prayers go out to japan. Japan needs all the help they can get, this is not longer a political issue but a human issue. this is a human to human issue. We need to help them out as much as we can and if you can't help try and rase awareness. Japan was in addition to the major earthquake just received a 7.5 earthquake yesterday. They are really going through a hard time but we have to stand by them. We have to. It's our duty as Americans.
I think they should try and help them more because they had such a big tradgy I think we should be helping them in any way we could.
I think we all have to pitch in and help japan.
I feel so bad about japan and i am starting a bake sale at school. And
sending the money to JAPAN.
i feel sad for japan and what doring the earthquake and sunami and i hop japan get mor helpe.
I feel sad for japan.they are trying there hardest to find the people.I hope they get there life back.
I feel bad for Japan they need help.
I think that it was sad that Japan was hurt and that some people dont have homes nomore but i think it wouldnt happen nomore it probly wouldnt happen and they could get their houses back because we will help japan
i hope the people in japan can recover from the horrible disaster and i hope that we can give them what they need even if we are in debt because we're all humans and we all deserve to live a good life. We only have one life and i just can't stand around watching other people being in trouble. My school did something for Haiti when it was in trouble so maybe we can start that again.
What happend in Japan is a real tragity. I mean, how would you feel if all you owned was disroyed and while this is happening your screaming and runnning for your life? I say we should all be supporting them as much as we would want to be supported during a hard time like this.
It is so sad what happend in Japan. I feel so bad for them. I couldn't even amagine having everything that I own and that means most to me destroyed right in front of my eyes while I am running for my life. I say we all need to pitch in and help as much as we would want to be helped if this happend to us during a hard time like this.
I'm praying for you Japan! 🙂
The people in Japan really have had a tough time, many lost homes, friends, family, pets, and a lot more. I can't even imagine what they've been through. I would definitely want to help out with them as much as they want us to help out with them. Japan is in my prayers. 🙂
I think we should give money to Japan cause there starving and were not.
I do think that Japan will need TONS of help because lots of people could be extremely injured or maybe even trapped from the earthquake/tsunami and couldn't get out I would help as much as I can.
My school feels very sad about the tragedy in japan and the action we are taking is to make paper cranes and for everyone we make the government will pay 2$
I feel so bad about the disaster in japan so i am going to do a book sell. And i am going to send the MONEY toJAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think we should give TONS of money and help to Japan.
Why would they do that to Japan? I DON`T want that to happen to us but I hope they are happy in the sky I`m praying for you and I tried really hard but I hope we find some of your family members. I will try to give you money.
i feel so horrible about the disaster in japan! i even got people to donate clothes & money to send over to japan.
me and my familes auction earned $2,000 and sent it to Japan for food and water for everyone there.
I feel bad that the people in Japan are losing homes, family, and belongings so the world should come and try to help Japan recover from the earth quake and tsunami.
the tragedy in japan saddens me and puts me into a lugubrious stage. Just the rumination of that event happening to somewhere close to me or my family is unfathomable. Generosity should be imposed by the US with great amounts of money to the benefit of Japan. God bless all...

I feel so sorry with the situation of Japaneses, I hope they can succed in getting their counry back to normal, i thimk the government should be more efficient with their programs of health to have a better security and warnings and take precations in the future
think we should give TONS of money and help to Japan.

I feel horrible for the people in Japan because they are in trouble and I can`t help them now.
I feel bad. I hope that they get everything put back together.
i still can't believe that that happened my heart breaks every time i hear someones parents, friends, and family get killed or hurt. so my class and i did a bakesale and raised over $280 dollars:(
i feel terrible what happened to japan i would take my life for another person if i could:D 😀 :D:)
i just want to wish the families and the people in japan that we are praying for them and hope they can survive the hard times ther egoing thru
If people keep lending money i think things would get better a lot faster. All we have to do is try a little harder.
I honestly do feel bad for those people. I hope that they rebuild everything
The tragedy in Japan is very devistating to all of us some more than others, reason for this is because they are people who may have lost a loved one and or loved ones from this disaster. What I don't really understand is why are people constantly saying that they can't help when they really can. Take action in your schools and try to do something anything to raise money to help them, because a little bit of help can go a long way in the long run. 🙂
God bless you Japan
It is sad what happend in Japan And i hope they can revover what happend and fix the problems with the Nuclear facility
I can only wish for the best and hope there won't be anymore earthquakes.
God bless you Japan and best of luck!
i think we should help japan a lot more because they were our allies
To all students from Japan I give you my condolences. I am dearly sorry for you losses both family and home wise. Although you guys have lost so much during this disaster, I think you can all say you also gained much. For example, faith. Faith is something that most of you who didn't have even a drop of faith have now gained more than that and it should never be lost. I encourage you all to get back up. Don't give up because not everything was lost . I am sure you all know how important your life is by now because God chose those of you who are alive because he has a purpose for your life. From now on your mission should be to live everyday like it was your last and to make it worth everything you have been through. I sincerely hope you can all recover from this devastating tragedy. You guys are strong and valuable. Your not alone, our father God is with you at all times !(:
I honestly feel extremely sad for Japan, I wish them the best of luck to rebuild everything that was destroyed.
I hope that all you guys will get well after the tsunami occured.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims in Japan. Japan, just know this, the whole world is right behind you in your hour of need!
i feel bad for the japanese people...hopefully they will rebuild and be better than before..also so that 1 day i can go to japan..
i will always and keep praying for japan and everyone should donate a little bit to help speed their relief
The tragedy that has occurred in Japan is effecting everyone all over the world. The people who are in Japan suffering is unreasonable, and never in a day of my life would i have thought of ever hearing or seeing something like this happen to innocent people. For things to get better in the future, I think they need to have more people on watch for the nuclear power plants. Also, I think that schools around the world should come together and raise money to help support Japan.
I think the whole world should help the Japanese because what if we have earth quick in USA i think they will help as too.:)
I believe that the tragedy in Japan is a major influence in how we will live our lives today. It changed the views of everybody, and helped a lot of us respect what we have and what we have to live for. It is truly a horrible event, and I can't fathom what they are going through. God bless everybody in Japan, including the ones who have passed away, that are still alive, and those that are missing. My prayers will be with you all.
All my hopes and prayers for Japan!
I can't imagine what it is like in Japan right now since I've never been involved in any type of disaster like this, but the impact has affected many lives inside and outside of Japan. I can only pray that the people in Japan will be able to recover and move on from such a terrible event.
I can't imagine what it is like in Japan right now, it must be difficult. Keep your head up Japan!
i wish the best for all of the families affected. ill be sure to pray for everyone in japan. no one deserves to have their loved ones taken or have their homes destroyed.
I know a lot of clothing companies that have made t-shirts to sell and donate all their profits to the red cross. I also know that Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 sold a lot of his things on ebay and donated all the money he earned to the red cross as well, and many of it went for thousands of dollars. It's nice to see a lot of people help out and hopefully Japan recovers quickly.
i feel bad for the students in Japan because this must be a situation to deal with at a young age. We all have to go though hardships in our life to make us stronger. I hope everyone in Japan pulls through this and comes out stronger from this disaster.
I feel sad for the people at Japan .I also feel sad for the kids.I hope they get better
i hope everyone in japan pulls though this and comes out stronger
from this disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel bad for the japan because alot of people died. I always pray every night before I go to bed because I don't want the tsunami to come. Also I donate money to japan so I can help them. MY NAME IS CAMERON GOOD LUCK JAPAN

I'm so sorry for familys, because they LOST someone or something and I know they maybe killed or helpless.
I feel really bad about what happened in Japan.Thousands of people died in Japan. Hopefully Japan gets back to normal very soon.
I feel bad for Japan because thousands of them died and many where woman and children. This hurricane will have changed Japan forever and hurt familys everywhere. I hope us Americans can try to do somthing to help.
Again in ruin,
Again they are in ruble,
Japan is in need.
Japan is sadly, once again facing disaster. Only this time, we American's are willing to help. I say we need to give it our all, no matter how unjust we've been to the small nation. They need help, and they deserve it.
I think Japaneese will need help from every nation from north to south, from east to weast
god bless japan.
i hope everyone in japan pulls though this and comes out stronger
from this disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, Japan.
Wish you many blessings
all my best blessings to Japan! u are strong enogh to get it thru.
I hope you can get through All the disaters!
Jeremiah
We read these comments in our class in Japan.
We are glad to read them.
We are thinking what we can do here in Japan.
I live and work in Japan and we all appreciate your comments and support.
Well, even though I'm not from Japan, I feel so sorry for them.I feel really sorry for the people whose relatives are long-lost or dead. Imagine having an earthquake and then surprise, surprise! You get a wall of water rushing towards you. My dad showed me this video about the tsunami. At earthquake and tsunami time, this guy was turned around, his back to the ocean. Then this wall of water (tsunami) appeared behind his back. He was appeared to taking pictures. Some of his friends were there. They tried to warn him, but he just took pictures. Finally his friends ran. And what happened to that guy? Well... he died.
iam an indian but iam very sad that you are suffering like this and i hope that you recover the loss.
