Ticketing for Discipline

In some parts of Texas, you don't just get tickets for bad driving. Some students can get them for disrupting class. It's a unique punishment designed to help young people understand that acting up has consequences. But some parents are saying that it should be up to them and teachers to discipline students - not a day in court and/or a fine.

Let's say you had to figure out some way to keep students from misbehaving (a job you might hate). What kind of discipline would you put in place?
