Editing Twain: Productive or Destructive?

Would a publisher's changes to TOM SAWYER and HUCKLEBERRY FINN make you more likely to read them?

This Thursday, you'll hear about a publisher's decision to change or remove specific words from Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.  The changes will appear in new editions of the books.

We're looking forward to hearing your comments about whether this decision is more productive or destructive.
