Onside kicks, punt fakes, field goal fakes: They're all part of the game. Wednesday's "Before We Go" segment showed a kind of football fake I hadn't seen before - and neither had the team that fell for it. What'd you think?
It was the coolest move ever. may be the Bears could use it.

This is a great way to honor our veterans.
playing with the sea animals is a great experience that most people never have an opportunity!

I think the play was very smart. If the other team wasn't paying attention, who's fault is that? The quarterback saw his opportunity and he took it. If the other team was silly enough to fall for the trick play, that's their fault. The play was smart. Way to go smart quarterback and, most of all, smart coach!
November 9, 2010 at 7:59 pm |
Hunter
I really appreciate the coach who came up with that move. It was really sneaky, And I bet the defence felt like dummies after he scored. What a laugh out loud moment!
November 9, 2010 at 8:19 pm |

it think it was cool
November 9, 2010 at 8:28 pm |
Aaron
As a player who is always a starter I think that was the smartest play in the world. ( If only I could get my coach to do that play). But really I bet the QB could have run faster than that.
November 9, 2010 at 8:31 pm |
Michael
This was a smart move and the coach really thougth well of how to tie up the game.
November 9, 2010 at 8:33 pm |

it was smart and awesome!!!
November 9, 2010 at 8:34 pm |
Alyssa
it wasnt a cheap trick the other team is just jelous that they didnt think of it.i think that they had a great game (both teams). anyways weather who wins or looses you should have fun.
November 9, 2010 at 8:39 pm |
Anna
That was sooooo funny! I would have never thought of doing that! The team must have tried to think of that one for hours! I wish I had watched that game! I think it was fair, but due to how I didn't see/hear the whistle, That probably meant that it was not counted. Or was it? I think they should have gotten the point, even if the whistle didn't blow right away.
November 9, 2010 at 8:57 pm |
Emma
I think that it was actually very smart because that is really not something that you see in a regular football game and since it was so unexpected it confused alot of people which is good in a game of football at least.
November 9, 2010 at 9:01 pm |
Meilani
That team was smart the other team didn't even see that coming, but that was a bit unfair cause what if they thought he was going to talk or give the ball to them.
November 9, 2010 at 9:02 pm |
Ben
I don't think that was a very fair play. The coach must have been desperate. I just can't believe the opposing defense let the guy through! If I was a ref, that wouldn't have slid by... especially to tie a game.
November 9, 2010 at 9:02 pm |
makayla
I think that was cheap because that would be a violation and when they do that the other teams will pick that up and do that then it starts fight and protests and we dont want that.
November 9, 2010 at 9:10 pm |
Harry
I think it is a smart move because, he confused the defence.
November 9, 2010 at 9:14 pm |

....I watch this play over and over. The kids are losing and they need a score if im not mistaken. It was a very smart play, the defense should of thought something was gong on. I give credit to those little kids very smart play.....
November 9, 2010 at 9:27 pm |

ti give kudos to the football team the QB sneak was amazing the play was called a QB sneak so no it was not a cheap shot it was real smart thinking on behalf of the coach.

I thought that that was clever and smart thinking of the coach. I would have never thought of that!
November 9, 2010 at 10:03 pm |

I think that the play was beautifully designed. No football rule denies the right to a quarterback sneak. It's just that no one had ever experienced anything like this, so they were confused. Poor quarterback, he was pummeled by #81 in the endzone celebration.
November 9, 2010 at 10:05 pm |
Gregory
I think the trick play was an awesome play but, i think the coach of the other teams will start doing that play soon.
November 9, 2010 at 10:08 pm |
Cassandra
The coach was thinking 'outside of the box' when he came up with this trick football play. I think the coach was brilliant in his endeavors and it proves in his touchdown results.
November 9, 2010 at 10:20 pm |
Selena
I think that it is amazing for someone to think of an idea like that. The other team could have went after the football, but they didn't because they were too surprised. I don't know how to play football, but I don't think that it is against the rules to use your brain.
November 9, 2010 at 10:25 pm |
Isaac
I think that play was fair and should be added to all play books. It's simply creative thinking by the coach and good role acting by the quarterback. I enjoyed watching how the defense just stood stunned because of confusion as quarterback walked by.

This made me laugh. Football is not just about grabbing and ball, and sprinting, hoping to not fall on your face, but it is also about logical thinking, and stratagy. This stratagy was clever, and it helped them win the game. That guy is a good actor to fool so many people...except that guy who was running after him near the end...
November 9, 2010 at 11:12 pm |
Jenna
I think it was an awesome thing .I have never seen a play like that before.
November 10, 2010 at 6:35 am |

This was an illegal play because nobody on the line of scrimmage moved. The only ones that moved were the center and Quarterback so they false started.

best play i've ever seen football.

I don't think you should be able to do that I think it should be some kind of penalty.
November 10, 2010 at 7:54 am |

It's smart thinking because the coach had to go through the rule book to sure that was legal.
November 10, 2010 at 7:54 am |

That was such a cheap shot. It was not even a good play it was so cheap.
November 10, 2010 at 7:55 am |

I think that the way the team worked together to make sure that they got that touchdown was amazing. It was a great plan and the other team should be more focused and not get as easily distracted.
November 10, 2010 at 7:56 am |

Although I haven't seen it before, it was AWESOME!!!! I can't believe that the coach came up with that idea.

It's smart thinking because the coach had to go through the rule book to sure that was legal. That's why I think it was smart. I don't know why there was 10% on the cheap shot.

I think it was a terrible decision. You need to be fair and equal to the other team. They shouldn't have counted that touchdown, they' are deffinatly being cheapshots!
November 10, 2010 at 8:28 am |

i think that it was funny, but very smart thinking by the coach.
November 10, 2010 at 8:29 am |

November 10, 2010 at 8:29 am |

I think it is a smart move because the other team didn't know what was going on. As long as its not against the rules; you should be able to do it.
November 10, 2010 at 8:29 am |

I think that this was smart thinking for this team because they thought of something that the other team wouldn't catch on to.

I think it was a great play. Very smart. There is nothing in the rule book that say you can't walk. The other team should have realized the play sooner. But I personally think it was great!
November 10, 2010 at 8:30 am |
Austin
I think this is fair i think where gonna have to try that on my team, and i gonna run the ball
November 10, 2010 at 8:30 am |

This is a great play I think I saw it on Sport Center it was a Top Play! I think who ever the coach is, must be smart enough to think of it and if you look the lineman were the ones who sold it.
November 10, 2010 at 8:31 am |
Courtney
Personally, I don't think thats fair. That should be illegal. I have to say though that was a very smart move. I think though that now that everyone has seen the play no one is going to fall for it so I don't know.
November 10, 2010 at 8:31 am |
Sam
i think that that play was an awesome play. The QB did a good job of selling it but what made the play work was the offensive line. They didn't move and acted like it was the wrong ball, which made the defense not now what was going on. Heads up play.
November 10, 2010 at 8:32 am |
Jeremy
It was a neatly designed play, but there should have been two penalties on the play. Although it was a nice play it should have been called off.
Your show is awesome Carl!

Paul
That was pretty great
November 10, 2010 at 8:32 am |

I think it was smart. The other team should have realized what they were doing, he was walking right towards them. I think it's a fair play.
November 10, 2010 at 8:32 am |
Nora
Not sure what that little guy was thinking but whatever it was, he was pretty smart. We should argue that it was a cheap shot all the other players for the other should never had looked at him and then try to tackle him. They should have caught on to what was happening and then tackled him! In the end I think that was a very smart and cool plan!! 🙂 (: <3
November 10, 2010 at 8:32 am |
Lucy
I thought that the play was very tricky! I don't think it was fair to the other team though. The play they did was lying and gave the other team no chance to even stop them, so it was unfair.
November 10, 2010 at 8:32 am |
saide
i think that it was a very good idea, because then the team doesnt have time to think about what there doing. they just kinda seemed dumbfounded when the quarterback just started walking.
November 10, 2010 at 8:32 am |
Jax
I believe it is fair. The other team should be ready for anything to happen.
November 10, 2010 at 8:36 am |

For a middle school contest I think this play was unnecessary. The point of middle school football is to teach the players the fundamentals of the game not to trick the other team to obtain success.
November 10, 2010 at 8:41 am |
jacob
that play was smart thinking it tricked the defense and they scored its football dont whine about it deal with it.
November 10, 2010 at 8:41 am |

I thought it was hilarous. But I think it was a good play the defence just was not thinking
November 10, 2010 at 8:45 am |

I think it was crazy. I have bin watching football scene i was 3 and i have never seen something like that i think that is crazy!! I think it took the other players by surprise so i think it was great that some one thought of some thing out side of the box.

that was so funny.that was a great idea.they were all just standing there.
November 10, 2010 at 9:31 am |

I thought that was actually pretty smart. It confused the other team enough for the quater back to make the touch down, and it's also a good laugh.

That QB sneak was awsome and if i played football i would do the sneak play to.

I think that was a realy cheap shot but I do think it is realy funny.

Sports are all about out smarting the other team. Confusing the other team is one of the best ways to do it.
November 10, 2010 at 9:47 am |

I think it was a good play because it teaches the opposing team to always be prepared and expect the unexpected. Also your puns were hilarious.
November 10, 2010 at 9:51 am |

As long as it doesn't break the rules, I think it's smart thinking.

That kid was a pretty sneaky kid through the defense. The other kids was thinking what is that kid doing.
November 10, 2010 at 10:05 am |
Mrs. Nachman's class
Our class is divided. The boys think it was awesome, and that it was so smart of the coach to think of it, and wondered why no one else thought of it before, "It was the funniest thing in the world".
The female vote thought it was a cheap shot. "That was wrong; you are supposed to run with the ball, not walk. It was a good play, but you don't do that in real football."
November 10, 2010 at 10:22 am |
Spencer
smart thinking by the coach but the guy was lucky he didn't get taken out by the linebacker
November 10, 2010 at 10:24 am |
Zach
I thought the quarterback sneak was a great play. If I could of thought about that I would have done it. The opposing team might not have liked it but sometimes you have to do something like that to win games.
November 10, 2010 at 10:31 am |

Thats got to be one of the smartest trick plays i have ever seen.
November 10, 2010 at 10:38 am |

I thought it was just plain smart thinking. Also the fact that even his team was in on it pure gold.
November 10, 2010 at 10:39 am |

i really think that was a smart move on the coach also a cheap shot. Monte vista ,my school should use the move.
November 10, 2010 at 10:40 am |

it's sad that people are angry about the play working. that 9% in the statistics? i'm pretty sure thats just the other team and its supporters, who are more than likely just angry that they were the ones who fell for it. seeing as more people agree that it was a smart move, i'm pretty sure that it's not against the rules of the game.
November 10, 2010 at 10:41 am |
DEAN
OmG... That was the greatest play ever why did my school football team think of that.... All credits go to the quarterback... Who would ever think of that play i am so happy that they won and went to the playoffs con-grates to all the players.

That was probably the smartest trick play, I've ever seen. And on top of that its totally legal

I think that the play was one of the smartest things created to help a football team win a game. To me the play was not cheating the play was totally legal you have to do what you have to do to win within the rules of the game. GO FOOTBALL
November 10, 2010 at 10:48 am |

I think that was a smart idea to do that play. It was so funny. It was cool. I think they should try that at our school next year on the football team.
November 10, 2010 at 10:49 am |
Cynthia
I don't know much about football, but what I can see from the video is that it's more the brute strength. Some people may call it a cheap shot, but that play was genius enough to get a TD. It looks really funny as well to see the opposite team stand there like while the QB sprints for it.
November 10, 2010 at 10:54 am |
Jake
I think that what that team did was perfectly ethical and legal, and not to mention it was pretty darn hilarious.

Hike \Hike\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Hiked; p. pr. & vb. n. Hiking.]
4. (Football) To pass (the ball) from the center to the quarterback at the start of the play; to snap (the ball). [PJC]
The center clearly hiked the ball to the QB starting the play. Once he passed the line of scrimmage the defense should have engaged him. It was a fair play, and quite clever.

I think it was a good idea. I'm a big football fan and I think it was a fair play because he had the ball before he crossed the line. It was a great, really slow QB sneak. The players on the other team we all like, "What's going on?" It was really funny.
November 10, 2010 at 10:59 am |
Damien
That wasn't fair to the other team. They should play by the rules.
November 10, 2010 at 10:59 am |

If he ran, walked, skipped, or jumped through the defensive line he did nothing wrong. So i congratulate the coach for making a smart play and the team that went through with it.

That was the funniest trick play ive seen in football when i saw it i thought what is he doing ,but after i saw him running i was laughing my head off.Well thumbs up to that play.

I think that the quarterback sneak was a really cool play and it was very very good thinking. I don't think it was a cheap shot at all I give their coach two thumbs up!!!!!!!
November 10, 2010 at 11:20 am |

That was good thinking and it worked. in a game you have to think of ways to catch the other team off gaurd and thats what they did.
November 10, 2010 at 11:20 am |

I think it was a smart play. The quarterback and the coach did a good job coming up with that play. I guess some people will do whatever to win.

I think that this is a great move by the coach it is the simpilest play in the book and I would like to try it with my football team if the game is on the line.
November 10, 2010 at 11:23 am |
Spielberg
For as long they still played by the rules it should be fair. I wonder how the opposite coach must be feeling now. If there were more plays like these in proffessional football it be funny. All in all it must have been a one way shot since opposing teams wont fall for the same trick twice in later games.
November 10, 2010 at 11:32 am |

I feel that it should count. If the other team wasn't thinking ahead, it's their own fault.

I think that it's completely fair, and downright hilarious. I don't think it's that cheap, it's just a silly play that could very much help to win the game. The other team wasn't expecting it, but now they know
November 10, 2010 at 11:37 am |

I believe it was a smart move. They spent time thinking it out, and played it. I think it should be counted as a touchdown.
November 10, 2010 at 11:37 am |
Camille
I think that this was a smart move, but it was also a pretty cheap move. It definitely threw a lot of people off, and it wasn't exactly great sportsmanship to pull a play like that. Most plays and fakes are just a part of the game, but this had nothing to do with skills or how well you could throw a ball, but just how sneaky you could be.
November 10, 2010 at 11:37 am |
Elizabeth
I think that this was a good play to think of. I think that it is fair as longs as it was not breaking the rules. I think that if it was against the rules of football then they should not be able to do it. If it is allowed then sure why not, I don't see why there is anything wrong with it.
November 10, 2010 at 11:37 am |
Erik
Wow that was a very smart play by the offensive corrdinator. It was even better how they acted confused about what was going on. I think that it was deffiently not a cheap shot. The plays not over until the ref blows the whistle.
November 10, 2010 at 11:38 am |

I think this is a truly brilliant move. If it isn't against the rules and it will raise you score...why not use it?!? Deceiving you opponent has always been one of the most important parts to a sport.
November 10, 2010 at 11:38 am |

It was a great move by a smart team. Who would think to just walk past the defense? Good stuff.
November 10, 2010 at 11:38 am |

I think that that play should be legal, and it wasn't a cheap shot at all. He hiked the ball, and ran with it. Fair enough. The person who created that play is a mad genius!
November 10, 2010 at 11:39 am |
Katie
I think it was clever! They were just playing their strengths, and one of them is smart thinking. It's not against the rules, and it's fun to watch, so why not?
November 10, 2010 at 11:39 am |

I really thought that was outstanding! If I had been on defense I would have been so confused! That play really made my day!!!! 😀
November 10, 2010 at 11:39 am |
Miranda
I though that the idea of having this football sneak was a good idea and it should be completely legal. The coach who came up with it was very clever in making it seem like they where not going yet. I believe that it should be completely legal and used because the defense should know that they are playing and that some play like that could work and get passed them so they have to be patient.
November 10, 2010 at 11:39 am |
Heather
I think this was amazing. I don't think it was a cheapshot though. If the other team was stupid enough to no realize what was happening then that's their fault. LRHS should try this. 🙂

I think that was a genius idea; he was taking a peaceful approach instead of alerting the players. I just wish I could use something like that in basketball! This was a smart idea and not a cheat.
November 10, 2010 at 11:51 am |
Eli
I think that it was smart thinking by the coach, but I could see the other side of the story, and why some people think it was cheap. I mean, it 's not like a middle school coach is going to warn his team that the opposition might try and trick them with a weird snap.

I think it was a little unfair. Football is a game of throwing and catching, not fake-snapping the ball and just walking through the defense. This is middle school football. I doubt the other team even knew the rule that the center doesn't have to snap the ball through the center's legs, much less realized that the ball was actually in play. I think it's unfair to exploit someone's weaknesses like that.
November 10, 2010 at 11:56 am |
Chels
I think that it was totally legal. He didn't really break any rules of the game, and no one ever said that you can't be smart and creative in the way that you get a touchdown...

I think that it was a really good play. The other team didn't know what to do when the quarterback was handed the ball. It was a really clever play, and it paid off in the end.
November 10, 2010 at 11:58 am |
Ethan
I Think that this play was amazingly smart and that it is just like any other fake out play. It is kind of like the BYU V. Utah Game in 2009 where max hall walked way and Harvey Unga hiked the ball and scored the touchdown
November 10, 2010 at 11:58 am |
Shayne
The whole point of a trick play, is to trick the opponent. This is clearly a well designed play.
November 10, 2010 at 12:00 pm |

I think that it was a Smart thinking and he did a great job at thinking it.
November 10, 2010 at 12:00 pm |

A lot of professional teams use trick plays like this one; so why couldn't the younger ages use them?
November 10, 2010 at 12:02 pm |

I think it was weird that the QB did that, but it was a good touchdown
November 10, 2010 at 12:04 pm |

I think that it was a smart play. The quarterback acted like he didn't know what was going on and it played towards his benefit. Overall it was a very fair play.

maddieohs
Not only was this quarterback sneak hilarious and enjoyable to watch, it showed us all that sports don't have to be taken so seriously all the time. Why do we play sports? To have fun doing something we love, not to be constantly wrapped up in the competitive ugly side of sports.
November 10, 2010 at 12:10 pm |
Eric
I don't think that was smart for that guy to sneak off with the ball . I think he might be in trouble for that.
November 10, 2010 at 12:17 pm |

That was an awesome play I saw this play on cmon man on monday night it was awesome

I don't know much about the rules of football, but to think of a play like that, these kids must be pretty brilliant.

I think trick plays hardly work and when they do its always awesome. That was a great play. I think that trick plays should be fair because their not doing any thing wrong. and thier COOL to watch
November 10, 2010 at 12:39 pm |

I think this was a genuis play! They completely fooled the defense. Isn't that normally a good thing?
November 10, 2010 at 12:39 pm |

it should be out of bouns if not they should tackle him

I Think it was a smart thing to do it caught everybody in the stadium off guard and shocked, but the question is did the win the game?
November 10, 2010 at 12:47 pm |
A.J.
I personally believe that was a very smart move on the offense's part. That was called a side-snap, it is a perfectly legal move. If the other team is gullible enough to let it occur then that is their own fault.
November 10, 2010 at 12:48 pm |
TAWON
I THINK IT WAS AN EXCELLENT PLAY. IF YOU NEED TO SCORE THATS THE PERFECT WAY TO DO IT.(AND TO THE PEOPLE WHO DISAGREE WHEN THE BALL MOVES YOU SHOULD TO) NO EXCUSES THAT WAS A PERFECT PLAY!!!!!! I LOVED IT.
November 10, 2010 at 12:53 pm |

I don't exactly know what to say about this. It puzzles me how it was possible for him to get through like that. Why did the opposing team delay like that? They should've been all over him. Something doesn't add up to me.

November 10, 2010 at 12:55 pm |

I think he had smart thinking, the other team was just standing there. I think that it's a bit funny. Number 19 on the other team was the only smat one on his team, if any body else on his team was as smart as him, they would have tackled.
November 10, 2010 at 12:58 pm |

What would Vince Lombardi do? That move is a disgrace to the game. Honor players past and present by honoring the game. That is playground stuff there.
November 10, 2010 at 12:59 pm |

i think it was cool, but the fact that it won't ever be able to happen again. cause once other people know about it they would try & once it's out there it just won't be able to go off like that.
November 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm |

To be truthful I personal thought it was the best hand and run game play.
November 10, 2010 at 1:00 pm |

thats what we need on the feald smatr players there would have been less ingeryes
November 10, 2010 at 1:01 pm |

November 10, 2010 at 1:01 pm |

It is smart thinking because the other team didn't know what the quarterback was doing until it was starting to unralvel
November 10, 2010 at 1:02 pm |

i think that it is good for that team to have something that is legal but has never been seen or used before! and they should take advantage of it before the other teams figure it out and start using it against everyone else

I think that its was foul play and i think its not such a good idea to do such thing beaceuse how do you think poeple are going to veiw this,
what could be thier perspective for it

We feel as if this play was very inviting and awesome. We would love to see more people accomplish this play. It was really interesting the way he faked it. This was really amazing.
November 10, 2010 at 1:36 pm |

i think its smart thinking because of the fact that everybody else was confused and didnt kno what was comeing their way.

People need to know what to put online and what not to put online. Some things are meant to be secret. If I were those people putting things that they know are not very appropriate on the computer, I would be very embarrassed.

I thought what the quarterback did was really cool. It was definitely smart thinking. That teams coach really thought outside the box on that play!

I think that if the other team thought of this genius plan they would of used it. I also believe that it is fair game because anyone could of though of it.

This was a really smart play. Made me laugh.. It's shoucking, you wouldn't think this would ever happen. SMART THINKING !!
November 10, 2010 at 1:50 pm |

I think it was a smart move because none of the members on the other team knew what he was doing... They could have tackled him but it was a smart move that nobody knew..
November 10, 2010 at 1:51 pm |

I think it was a very smart play that is what football is all about, to make strategic plays to win the game sooo a very smart play by the offense.
November 10, 2010 at 1:52 pm |

I guess Only in Texas!!! UIL is gonna have to rewrite its rules I guess.
November 10, 2010 at 1:52 pm |

I think that the play was very genious and more schools should make up their own plays.
November 10, 2010 at 1:53 pm |
Patrick
Well the play was pretty smart indeed, that i know, there's no rule that states that the player can't pass the ball to the quarterback over the shoulder. But who knows, if the point counted then im guessing it was a good play.
November 10, 2010 at 1:54 pm |
Cynthia
It think it was a smart move... It is not their fault that the other team did not know that they should tackle him instead they just stood still...
November 10, 2010 at 1:57 pm |
Laura
I think it was a smart move and the other team should have tackled him but the move was so smart that they did not think it was a trick..
November 10, 2010 at 1:59 pm |
Derek
I think it was a cheap shot because it was a dirty move.. They should have played like they normally play which is running when they catch the ball..
November 10, 2010 at 2:03 pm |
Kyle
good idea
November 10, 2010 at 2:04 pm |

It was an intelligent move because the other team was left wondering what they were doing insetad of going to action..
November 10, 2010 at 2:06 pm |

It think it was a smart move Carl because the other team was left feeling blank and they did not reacted fast enough...
November 10, 2010 at 2:07 pm |

November 10, 2010 at 2:21 pm |

November 10, 2010 at 2:34 pm |
Class of 2014
The other team should have hit the quaterback even if they thought it was a false start
November 10, 2010 at 2:36 pm |

I think that the play was funny and smart, funny because nobody was expecting it, and they thought that the coaches would have a flag thrown.

Football is football, fakes are only strategy, maybe next time they should improve for next time.
November 10, 2010 at 3:17 pm |
Austin
I think that play was totally right. It is just like any other trick play done by football teams. And junior high schools can get away with it, since they don't have a lot of experience at playing football.
November 10, 2010 at 3:24 pm |
Carly
I thought this was an awesome play, and smart move for the team that got the touchdown. Nice job Boys!
November 10, 2010 at 3:28 pm |
Emily
I think that it was a pretty good idea to do that play on them, because who would EVER be expecting something that sneaky? Football is all about strategy, and doing what needs to be done to win the game, and sometimes tricky plays are EXACTLY what you need to accomplish that!
November 10, 2010 at 3:30 pm |
Sara
I think that this was a great idea! I think that it was fair and that the other team just fell asleep. You always listen for the whistle.
November 10, 2010 at 3:30 pm |
Luis
It was a smart play by the team because no one has seen that play before and i don't think that team expected an awesome play
November 10, 2010 at 3:32 pm |
Luz
I think that the quarterback, played a legal game. The team was smart to think of that, and the other team must have been asleep or something. I think it would be a good idea if they used the play against other teams.
November 10, 2010 at 3:32 pm |
Carolina
I think that it was an awesome way of scoring! I think that it was a smart idea and it was interesting to watch! The other team must of been fired up haha!
November 10, 2010 at 3:33 pm |

Wow now this is a shocker! I think it sounds really strange that the football did that, but more power to him if he is brave enough! I guess the players should be more aware of what is going on.
November 10, 2010 at 3:33 pm |
Keenan
I think that the play was great! It was a perfectly legal play that out smarted the defense. Since there wasn't a whistle on the play the defense should have tackled the quarterback as he crossed the line of scrimmage.
November 10, 2010 at 3:34 pm |
SIS SPOTLIGHT
Our class thinks that it was a great play because it was a clever way to score a touchdown. The player didn't do anything illegal, so we think the coach is a genius!!!
November 10, 2010 at 3:34 pm |

i think that was fair i mean it made my day when i saw it, and i think it count because that just proved that they weren't in the game. people need to be more smart in there plays like this one, it makes the game interesting and challenging.
November 10, 2010 at 3:35 pm |
Galiz
I think that it was a smart move because it made them get a touch down. I recomend to those football players to try an do that so all of you can score.
November 10, 2010 at 3:36 pm |
mario
Some times when you have no idea what to do all you got to do is just come up with crazy ideas and that's exactly what that team did. I give them props for coming up with such a smart idea. the only down side to this is you probably won't be very liked among others.
November 10, 2010 at 3:36 pm |
jessica
I think that was a smart move to do. But it shouldent count because the other team fell for it and it wasnt nice for them to that. Also because i dont htink they were supose to do that.
November 10, 2010 at 3:36 pm |
Claudia
well the opponet team was supposed to always keep their eye on the ball at all times. It doesn't mean that they should let the other player walk off with it. They need to be prepared at all time.
November 10, 2010 at 3:37 pm |
Gabe
That was hilarios!
November 10, 2010 at 3:46 pm |

I personally don't like football but out of all the times i have seen it that was probably the smartest well thought out play i have ever seen. It was very tricky but it made the game more interesting.
November 10, 2010 at 3:47 pm |

November 10, 2010 at 4:00 pm |

I think that was the best play ever. I did not see that coming. It was so good that I was shocked when I saw that. I would tell my team to do the same thing if I knew I could get away with it.

November 10, 2010 at 4:04 pm |

I think it's a great idea. An ingenious plan thought out by the coach to just walk. Most sports requires running, but just walking got everyone confused.

that play was great idea i wish we had done it during our season

i think the play sould have gotten more effort from the other team
November 10, 2010 at 4:30 pm |

I think it was a really cheap move. I think it just shows that their team is better then theirs so they did a cheap shot to win. It's like throwing a low blow in boxing if he is bigger then you.
November 10, 2010 at 4:32 pm |
lance
i think the other team should have givin more effort instead of just one person going after the qb
November 10, 2010 at 4:32 pm |

it was a smart move and luck shot

I think that they were just playing the game . They found a stratagy that worked, and used it on the feild, and the other team fell for it. I think that it's fair and a smart play.

I think that the Quarterback sneak is a good idea. But it seems like cheating to me.
November 10, 2010 at 4:47 pm |

It was funny and very smart. The other team was just standing there thinking huh? What? Is that legal? is the game called? It was legal and funny.

This play is not even legal! The ball was not snapped through the center's legs... I'm surprised the play wasn't stopped... Those silly geese.

I think it was very well planned out it was fare and very funny
November 10, 2010 at 5:08 pm |

I thought it was funny. And if that was called a penlty i am mad!!!!!!!!!
November 10, 2010 at 5:10 pm |

I think that the football player must have had some real brains and the other team maybe no brains. The football player was really smart to do that no luck was needed.
November 10, 2010 at 5:14 pm |

i think this was well thought out and and totally awesome!!!
November 10, 2010 at 5:15 pm |

i think that the sneak was a good play because once the ball moves its consider the ball was snapped i wish that play would work for my high school team LOL 🙂
November 10, 2010 at 5:18 pm |

This is one of the oldest tricks in the book. The coach was just smart enough to realize that it would work.
November 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm |

I think this was a smart move. It is totally leagal.
November 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm |

i think that it was a great play. i keeps people on their toes and its good to have a new play thrown out there after a while. i think who ever thought of this play was pretty smart cause as you can see it worked.
November 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm |
Rockstar
I believe that iit a cheap shot! It's cheating even!!
November 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm |

I think it was a smart play, not a cheap shot at all. The ball was live, and the defense just didn't pay enough attention. Football is fun to watch!
November 10, 2010 at 5:19 pm |
Sarah
I think that it was a great play.
I think that some other teams should try it.
I think it was a easy way to score a point!
November 10, 2010 at 5:20 pm |
Kyle
I think that the play was pretty cool. There have been other plays similar to this, and usually they work. The only downside is that they can only be used once. Nonetheless, it's always good to see unorthodox methods used in sports.
November 10, 2010 at 5:20 pm |
Jake
They're lucky it was middle school. I don't think they would have been able to pull it off in a highschool game.
November 10, 2010 at 5:21 pm |
Claire
I think that was smart! The defence didn't even know. I think that would make other people start doing that. Great Thinking.
November 10, 2010 at 5:21 pm |
Danny
Its all part of the game. The rules say once the ball is moved the play is live, the defense should have been paying attention.
November 10, 2010 at 5:23 pm |
Natalie
I think that this sneak attack was a fantastic idea! Whatever it takes to win the game. It was a smart choice because it obviously put a little spice in the game and that is always fun to watch as a spectator. Keep on mixing it up.
November 10, 2010 at 5:24 pm |
Sybil
What great thinking! I think thats what makes a great team.
November 10, 2010 at 5:24 pm |

I think that it is a smart play. the ball went past the line and none of the linemen moved but at the end when he scored he went for the chest bump and got knocked over.
November 10, 2010 at 5:24 pm |
Josie
Whoever created this play took advantage of the other team, which was a brilliant idea. You do what you can to make a touchdown in football and they did just that. It was a great sneak and it was following the rules... by the way St.Paul Football Rules!!!
November 10, 2010 at 5:24 pm |

November 10, 2010 at 5:25 pm |

I think that the play was B-E-A- utiful. It defintely wasnt a cheap shot. The defense should have been awake, but i give credit to the one guy who came to play.
November 10, 2010 at 5:28 pm |
Emilio
I think that this was a pretty good play but in our football team we are suppossed to go when the ball moves once the whistle blows to start the play i think it was just a mental mistake for the other team
November 10, 2010 at 5:28 pm |
garyboy
Carl make sure this post gets on the show. That was a smart move...one of the better plays in football. The ball was snapped, and there was no whistles, so it's legal.
November 10, 2010 at 5:28 pm |
Matthew
I think the play was smart. I bet the other team thought he was going to ask the coach something but did not see that coming! There was no chance the other team would catch him. To smart!
November 10, 2010 at 5:29 pm |

I believe the QB sneak was not only an outrageously stunning play, it was a clever, witty way of thinking. I think everyone should follow the way of thinking on this!
November 10, 2010 at 5:33 pm |
PETRO
the play was so amazing i hope when i tell my coach he will let us do it.I cant belive the reff did not blow the wistle.
November 10, 2010 at 5:35 pm |
Joe
I do not think it was cheap at all. It just adds to the game, and can bring a whole other level of play. It's just one team being smarter and more discipline than another. St. Paul Football Rules.
November 10, 2010 at 5:38 pm |
tim
i think that qb is a genius his moves were like a hot knife through warm butter
November 10, 2010 at 5:38 pm |
calvin
i think the team had a good idea because the team did not know what was going on but they also got the touchdown.
November 10, 2010 at 5:40 pm |
Jordan
I am not much of a football player but i thought that, that play was super funny and if i were a coach i would try it sometime because the defense wouldn't know what to do and when they finally figured out what was happening you would already be halfway down the field 🙂
November 10, 2010 at 5:41 pm |
Bailey
I think it was a very creative and brave play. My class was just wondering if the play was legal. After school I went down to head football coach's office and when I showed him this video and he laughed his head off. He said it was a legal play and he would consider that play for next year's football season. Better watch other middle school football teams cause we got a backup play!
November 10, 2010 at 5:46 pm |
Jordan
I think that it was a smart move. It wasn't breaking any of the rules and I am sure that the players got a kick out of it. But I don't know about the other teams coach.
November 10, 2010 at 5:46 pm |
Mariah
I think that was a sneaky and smart play
November 10, 2010 at 5:59 pm |
Joey
I think that was so awesome but it was wierd how the defense reacted but it was so funny i nealry fell of my seat hahahahahahahaha
November 10, 2010 at 6:04 pm |
Bridget
First of all why didnt they pull a flag and why put a point on there team. If it were me I'd make them a bench warmer the rest of the season.
November 10, 2010 at 6:06 pm |
Austin
dud that wuz totally thinking outside thje box!!! brains over brawn anyday!!
November 10, 2010 at 6:06 pm |
Nick
That is one of the coolest most non-cheap shot move ever. I think if we all try and think outside the box it can get us somewhere in life. help us explore new things.
November 10, 2010 at 6:07 pm |
G.man
I think it was smart thinking, I definately would not of though of that and if I did I do not think it would work. That is one smart coach!
November 10, 2010 at 6:07 pm |
garrett
all i have to say is wow that is GREAT THINKING by the coach trust me i would know because i play football to.
November 10, 2010 at 6:19 pm |
Desiree
I think that that since the ball was in play, it was smart thinking. At first he looked confused but then he thought " Oh, wait I can do this!".
November 10, 2010 at 6:20 pm |
Aaron
Whatever it takes to win the game! It was a very smart play and amazingly the team scored the point. Overall, I feel that it was Smart Thinking behind this great play.
November 10, 2010 at 6:20 pm |
Corey
I think the other team was confused because the whistle did't blow.
November 10, 2010 at 6:21 pm |
Ankhesenamun
(Yes that's my real name!!!)
It was a stroke of genuis on the coach's part. However it Is a bit underhanded.
November 10, 2010 at 6:25 pm |
Nora
I think that they should just play the game and try their best, not try to trick the other team. It's not really fair.
November 10, 2010 at 6:31 pm |
Jordan
I find it annoying that some people would call this an "Unsportsmanlike" Play. Ive been playing football for 10 years, and I think it was a great play. Futhermore, many pro and college football teams (Boise State anyone?) do trick plays, so its not like its something new...
November 10, 2010 at 6:35 pm |
Oleg
sneks are some times just right
November 10, 2010 at 6:35 pm |
Andrew
I think it was 100% fair. the only difference between this play and most other plays is the center handed the ball to the quarterback over his shoulder instead of through his legs.
November 10, 2010 at 6:38 pm |
Caroline
I thought that it was a well executed play that was clever, not sneaky. It just proves that you always need to be on your A game and paying attention. It was a smart play that other teams will now perform....
November 10, 2010 at 6:39 pm |
CHEYENNE
I THINK THAT WAS AWESOME.IT WAS A SMART IDEA.IT'S REALLY FUNNY THAT NOBODY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING!
November 10, 2010 at 6:41 pm |
BRITTANY
that play was amazing!! That was a very smart play to do and that was not a cheap play at all. I wish i knew that play. Very nice job the person that invented it. good job!
November 10, 2010 at 6:42 pm |
Emma
I think it was a good idea because it did not violate any football rules (i think) and it got the one team a touchdown!!
November 10, 2010 at 7:01 pm |
Cranden
i think it awesome its genous a nd very signifacant
November 10, 2010 at 7:08 pm |
Jimmy
I think that this play was mostly luck. Even though it was a sweet play, who just walks right through the defense like that? Plus, that kid could have got to the QB towards the end of the play.
November 10, 2010 at 7:11 pm |
Emma
Yeh it was genius on the part of the coach and the quarterback to confuse them and score a touchdown.
November 10, 2010 at 7:12 pm |
Gwyn
The National High School Football Association's rules say that it it is not legal and Middle/High school football follow these rules. Texas, however, is the only state in the U.S that does not follow these rules, and that is where this play was. I thought it was rather clever and if they do not follow the NHSF rules it was legal.
November 10, 2010 at 7:14 pm |
alex
I think that was a really good idea. It was fair because they said hike. It is funny how no one knew what was going on. I am suprised that a middle school would ever think of that. Score one for the team.
November 10, 2010 at 7:17 pm |
nhan
I think that was smart and cool.
Ididn't know you could do that.
But now I know.
November 10, 2010 at 7:26 pm |
Francesca
I think that was really smart thinking to walk with the ball then run. The other team didn't even see it coming
November 10, 2010 at 7:27 pm |
hunter
that was a funny to watch!
November 10, 2010 at 7:27 pm |
gage
i thought that that was a smart trick play and they cant get a flag becasuse it was a play
November 10, 2010 at 7:32 pm |
Sarah
I thought it was a great idea. If I was in that position, I would be really pround of myself.
November 10, 2010 at 7:33 pm |

Yeh the element of surprise is essential in most sports
November 10, 2010 at 7:33 pm |

It is funny they just stand there.lol;)

i tink that was a good play because they got a point

i think all quarterback should do that.
November 10, 2010 at 7:39 pm |
max
that was cool I think that im going to that.
November 10, 2010 at 7:42 pm |
Liz
I think that coach is a genuis! If it's okay then go for it. you play football to win and be in a team. If this helps you win and be a better team, I say good job!
November 10, 2010 at 7:43 pm |
Evan
I think that it was a very smart move and the other team never saw it coming.
November 10, 2010 at 7:57 pm |
Hannah
That was hilarious!!! It was so funny I showed it to my whole family!
November 10, 2010 at 7:57 pm |
Sunshyne
Hahahah... that is sooo funny my class keep laughing. It was totally smart but silly to bad they lost.
November 10, 2010 at 8:04 pm |
branden
i think it was a beast move
November 10, 2010 at 8:04 pm |
meghann
I think the other team thought that something was wrong when he started walking and was caught off guard it was a good trick 🙂
November 10, 2010 at 8:15 pm |
mckenna
i thought it was great very sneaky and smart!! good job team and coach!
November 10, 2010 at 8:19 pm |
Brandon
I think it was 100% fair.theres a snap and they didnt tackle him. it was a game of chance but they got it and it worked. and may I say it was AWESOME!
November 10, 2010 at 8:35 pm |
marco
You really got to get mad at the head coach because that is one of the oldest plays in the book. I used to see it when i was little...er, the old "this isn't the right ball, go to the sideline, then run" trick. The team was lucky I wasn't there because i would have hit him hard.:)
November 10, 2010 at 8:44 pm |
cami
I personally think that it was smart thinking because they didn't it was coming so that's why i think that was smart thinking.
November 10, 2010 at 8:45 pm |
Kaileigh
I agree that it was very smart, and funny to see all the players look so confused on what to do. Nice job!! 🙂
November 10, 2010 at 8:47 pm |
rusty
that is cheap so funny to hes jest walking and run fast run fast he takes off
November 10, 2010 at 8:54 pm |
Sabrina
I cant exactly say if that was a cheap shot or if it was a smart move, because i don't really know what the rules of football are. Not to mention, don't you think that if he was walking by you with the ball and then he starts to run that you would try to catch him and tackle him down so that he doesn't get the score! I guess it would be different if you were actually playing the game though!
November 10, 2010 at 8:57 pm |
christopher
i may not be much of a football fan, but i can tell that it would have greatly confused the players when they saw him run for it when he walked past him. it was a good trick but now that it has been shown to millions there is no way anyone will be able to try it again.
November 10, 2010 at 8:58 pm |
Ben
I think the best part was when he walked. He had the other team thinking "what the heck is he doing!" very smart. .
November 10, 2010 at 9:01 pm |
Benge
Hehehe now that was a classic move! it was the best i mean just walking through the other team and then sprinting to the end zone HILARIOUS!! I could wathch that movie over and over again all day:)
November 10, 2010 at 9:02 pm |
sonia
I thought it was a cool trick the other team had nothing to expect.whoever had that in mind was a smart person.
November 10, 2010 at 9:08 pm |
Dani
It was a great play. The ball was in play. I agree with the referes.Very sneaky, way to go!
November 10, 2010 at 9:14 pm |
Nathan
holy wakamoly! that was a crazy play!:)
November 10, 2010 at 9:14 pm |
Alexander
The play was smart thinking and a cheap shot, but I think since the other team wasn't expecting the play it was more smart than cheap. It was crazy awesome anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's probably every football player's dream now.
November 10, 2010 at 9:16 pm |
Kyle
I think the trick play was one of the best i've ever seen.It also shows the defense to play til the whistle. And think about now a lot of schools are going to be doing that same exact play in thier pee wee games and high school.I know for a fact that our school is going to do that play.
November 10, 2010 at 9:38 pm |
Katie
It was hillarious to watch. I don't see anything wrong with the play. no rules were broken. More teams should use plays like that to lighten up the game. They are always so intense and competitive.
November 10, 2010 at 9:38 pm |
willie
i think it counts. that wouldve been halarious but they shouldve reacted to it. I would take the risk!
November 10, 2010 at 9:40 pm |
Chris
I think what they did was a smart move. I thought it was comical watching him walk by the defence without them doing a thing.
November 10, 2010 at 9:44 pm |
Katie
i think this was very smart of them but i bet the other team felt pretty dumb after that
November 10, 2010 at 9:49 pm |
Natividad
I think that if it will help ypu win you should do it! As long as you do not break the rules.
November 10, 2010 at 9:52 pm |
Royce
I think that was verey smat and it was cool to watch! plus whoever thought of that play is the best!
November 10, 2010 at 9:54 pm |
Jon
I say that it could go both ways i worked that time but now other teams no what they may do and theycauld of gotten tackled but i half to say i was alsome
November 10, 2010 at 9:57 pm |
Joelle
The best play EVER!!!!!!!!!!! i love football and this is like the best thing in football history and then he comes up to do a chest bump is falls and the other players fall it's soo funny
November 10, 2010 at 10:05 pm |
Jesse
It was so funny seeing that i thought he was getting frustrated and just left until he took off
November 10, 2010 at 10:31 pm |
caleb
It was smart thinking and it was sneaky. Who ever thought of that play must have been a super genius.
November 10, 2010 at 10:31 pm |
Paisley
That was really cool! I thought it was fair and definately sneaky and smart. The other team never saw it coming! I bet the coach was proud...and the other one was dumbfounded.
November 10, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
Erin
Whe nwe watched this my class went insane!! I knew what we all were think at that moment" Let's use that for flag football today" Everybody started to cheer and we got in trouble with the principal
November 10, 2010 at 10:44 pm |
Jackie
Best play EVER! I couldn't believe it when I first watched it! And on top of that, it was a completely legal move too! AWESOME! I give them thumbs up:)
November 10, 2010 at 10:59 pm |
gene
i think it was cool that the players had no clue at first then when he started to run they were still confused about the whole thing. but i think it is completely legal and smart of them to do that.
November 10, 2010 at 11:01 pm |
sara
I think it was a smart move on the winning teams part. The other team, well i ca say is your supposed to be keeping your eyes on the ball not watch it get away. Over all smart move.
November 10, 2010 at 11:10 pm |
Tessa
wow when people get confused they get confused i mean walking and then running i would never think of that! 🙂
November 11, 2010 at 12:18 am |
Allie
This was an amazing play! It was very sneaky, and i loved watching it along with my class! If you ask me, this should definately make the ESPN top ten! This was just awesome!!
November 11, 2010 at 12:45 am |
Bella
I think it was a smart play and I'm surprised that it really worked. They are very creative. No one ever thougt of this!
November 11, 2010 at 2:15 am |
mei
i think it was a very smart trick,
November 11, 2010 at 2:24 am |
JinSeon
It was truely a smart play. But I think it worked because the other team wasn't very smart. Except one person who followed the ball. Anyway it was so funny!!
November 11, 2010 at 2:26 am |
Kristopher
I thimk it was a good play because it confused the other team. Also there isn't a rule about it so it was fair. But the refs made the choice to count it and I agree with thiem.
November 11, 2010 at 7:46 am |
Becca
I think that was a VERY smart and stratedic move. Well thought out and played. Kudos to the play maker! I can not wait to tell my soccer team the play and maybe we can perform it. But, soccer is different.
November 11, 2010 at 8:40 am |
Schyler
I think that the shot was very smart thinking. I am a football fan myself and I think the quarterback did a good job on his part, so overall I thought the play was well played!
November 11, 2010 at 8:43 am |
Aaron
I thought it was a good play ill ask my coach if we can try that play
November 11, 2010 at 10:00 am |
Kristen
I think it was a very smart thinking.. The team and coach pulled a very sneaky play..
November 11, 2010 at 10:01 am |
Julian
That was the best football play I ever saw in my life, but I' ve got to say that is was a little sneaky.
November 11, 2010 at 10:01 am |
Troy
I think this play is a very good trick play. I play high school football and whenever the ball is moved, that is when the play starts. The other team wasnt ready and that was their loss.
November 11, 2010 at 10:01 am |
Samantha
I think that if the team was smart enough to think of the play and the other team wasnt ready for it, its fair.
November 11, 2010 at 10:01 am |
Courtney
I think it was smart thinking.. it wasnt a cheap shot because the coach was just thinking outside of the box!!
November 11, 2010 at 10:02 am |
Valentina
I guess it was kinda cool
November 11, 2010 at 10:03 am |
Kaycee
Well I believe that football all about the down home backyard contact. If you have to fake it, you must not be able to take a hit. Maybe those boys can take a hit I'm just saying I wanna see some real football.
November 11, 2010 at 10:03 am |
Desmond
I'm in football myself to me this was just smart thinking. Ever heard the saying"desperate time call for desperate measures"? I honestly just think they were desperate. Also what's the difference between that play and a reverse or half-back pass?
November 11, 2010 at 10:04 am |
Hayley
I think that anyone with that much skill and brains to think of that play in a time when they needed it to win was smart. Some people might think that it was unsportsmen like but I dont believe that team pulled that play to gloat but only to try and tie the game and obviously it worked.
November 11, 2010 at 10:05 am |
dustin
it was a very smart play but it also was very risky.
November 11, 2010 at 10:07 am |
Melinda
It was a smart play like most said, I don't think there is anything wrong with just playing the game.
November 11, 2010 at 10:42 am |
Paige
I think our high school team should've done that! Very clever!!
November 11, 2010 at 11:21 am |
Paige
Way to think outside the box.
November 11, 2010 at 11:22 am |
Brea...
I don’t know a lot about football but my first thought was can you even do that?! Guess so! I definitely got a laugh out of it and learned something today. Great thinking.
November 11, 2010 at 11:27 am |
Danny
I think that the play was actually really smart. It must of had a lot of good thinking behind it.
November 11, 2010 at 12:07 pm |
Ellie
I thought that it was very funny. I am glad that the ref didn't call it because then it would not be on CNN and it was the most funniest football trick ever!
November 11, 2010 at 1:10 pm |
Ellie
I think the other team thought "What is going on?" the quartback was sneaky. Good job team!
November 11, 2010 at 1:14 pm |
Zach
that was a very good play, usually the player heads towards the coach instead of walking up the middle, i guess people do everything different everywhere
November 11, 2010 at 1:21 pm |
Jazmin
I thought it was a fair smart well thought through play. It was a very sneaky way to get points in the game. That shows that some people will do anything to win or even tie in a game.
November 11, 2010 at 1:25 pm |
Joel
It was a lucky play. I'm surprised that the other team didn't catch on. I've seen many plays like this were the QB gets lit up because the other teams middle linebacker saw the trick on sportscenter the night before. It was luck and I hope they don't try it again
November 11, 2010 at 1:30 pm |
Angela
This was a very smart move. It caught the other team off guard, and was very sneaky.
November 11, 2010 at 1:48 pm |
Jade
I don't know much about football, but I thought it was pretty funny!!
November 11, 2010 at 2:02 pm |
scotty
I'v seen a lot of plays, but that was smart and clever! Nice play if you asked me!
November 11, 2010 at 2:39 pm |
Emmett
This play is genius! The other team must've put up quite a fuss over that play.
November 11, 2010 at 2:46 pm |
Ashlynn
i myself am a huge foot ball fan and i have never seen a play like that so give a round of a claws for the team!! yay!! yay!!
November 11, 2010 at 4:17 pm |
Vinny
I make plays at my house like a play action pass or a wide reciever sweep, but i never made a play like that. Whoever that coach is, he might as well be inducted into the Head Coach Hall of Fame in Texas. Love the play.
November 11, 2010 at 4:23 pm |
Matt
That was a great play. Who'd think of doing that? Nice trick!
November 11, 2010 at 4:37 pm |
Taylor
Amazing!! It was fair and it didn't violate the rules... all the quarterback had to do was walk right through the defense and BAM. Hilarious. I couldn't stop watching it over and over. 🙂
November 11, 2010 at 5:04 pm |
Ashley
Cheap shot but its "thinking outside the box" almost.
November 11, 2010 at 5:07 pm |
Janessa
I think that play should have been called off, but it was clever.
November 11, 2010 at 5:19 pm |
michael
the best play ever every and the other team was like what? and moved to the side to let him to get past.
November 11, 2010 at 5:19 pm |
cassie
nice fake out that was awesome I would love to try that play once maybe I will
November 11, 2010 at 5:30 pm |
Melissa
I am not a football expert, but I know that the sneak was fair and smart. If it was touched by the quarterback it's fair. You have to be carefully because they'll get it sooner or later. It was the sneakys football play...
November 11, 2010 at 5:33 pm |
Ashlynne
I think it was awesome. I loved it!!! Good thinking!!!!!:)
November 11, 2010 at 5:36 pm |
Olivia
That was so cool! I am suprised he got all the way to the end zone. The team should do that play more often.
November 11, 2010 at 5:58 pm |
Austen
I don't like that play at all they did not hike it and showed no sportsmanship. I know every football team has their own sneaky play like my team did when I played football but we hiked it at least.
November 11, 2010 at 6:49 pm |
Austen
It was also dangerous if the wuarter back would've been tackled it could've led to a dog pile or the quaterback could've been hurt.
November 11, 2010 at 6:51 pm |
Kate
If the play was legal, then I would have to say that it is fair. There is a difference between a trick play and a cheap shot. If this team was up by a lot, It would not be good sportsmanship. So if your team needs a win and you can do it fairly, I say go for it.
November 11, 2010 at 6:52 pm |
jason
The play is good, because they did what they had to do to tie up the game. I thought that is what the game is all about, the last time I checked their is no rule about trick plays!!!! only 10% voted no good.
November 11, 2010 at 6:55 pm |
Carol
I think that was a smart move! I think if its not in the rules then its alright.
November 11, 2010 at 7:10 pm |
Destin
why wouldnt you make a trick play if it is going to trick someone else, then why not. some of those plays are beast.
Destin
November 11, 2010 at 7:11 pm |
Tally
i HATE football! but even i thought that was a down right spiffy move. Maybe he was just lucky...or maybe he had MAD SKILL!! Who knows?:)
November 11, 2010 at 7:13 pm |
Natalie
I think that this sneak attack play is great! Anything it takes to get the points and win the game seems ok to me. When teams try different and excitng new plays like this one it puts spice into the game. And as a spectator that's always something that interest me. Keep on mixing it up!
November 11, 2010 at 7:15 pm |
Jessica
The play was so great I had to show it to my family when I got home because they could not belive me.
November 11, 2010 at 7:28 pm |
theresa
that was really funny i thought the other team would see what he was doing, but they didn't so that's what made it funnier
November 11, 2010 at 7:33 pm |
Tyler
I think its unfar for the other football teams that play the real football game and if the other team is cheating there way to victory.
November 11, 2010 at 7:41 pm |
Sierra
I believe that the play was fair, and if the other team has anyone to blame, it would be themselves. It's funny how the other team parted like the red sea when they saw the guy walking through their defense. Smart move!!
November 11, 2010 at 7:50 pm |
amber
It's smart and can also be very sneaky
November 11, 2010 at 8:17 pm |
Amber
that was one of the best plays that i had ever seen. it was smart and cleverly thought out
November 11, 2010 at 8:26 pm |
brandon
this is a brilliant play but odd.
November 11, 2010 at 8:41 pm |
margaret
November 11th. 7:34 pm
Personally I think that it all depends on how strategically you think about the rules of football.but if anyone would ask me i thought the play was pretty amazing myself!!!!!!
November 11, 2010 at 8:42 pm |
Paige
I think that people should play by the game. Not only people are selfish, but they are also not being truthful about a game. Games are for "FUN" not "OH WE NEED TO WIN!!"
November 11, 2010 at 8:46 pm |
Venezia
This football play is a genius move. I bet the other team was quite mad that they didn't see it coming. If more football teams did moves like this then there would be a lot more wins than loses probably.
November 11, 2010 at 8:49 pm |
taylor
i love football but iv never seen a fake like that. that was cool and all the boys in my class where like wohhhh that was cool!!!!
November 11, 2010 at 8:57 pm |

Things like this are what sometimes what win the game so this isn't a cheap shot.

The game was fantastic that is how some people should do. Because nobody realized it. Until one person on the other team saw what was happening. The quarter back was a genius.
November 11, 2010 at 9:29 pm |
Kay
this move was pretty sneaky but i loved it!!! I figure that the other team was a little confused and at the end they were probably really mad!!! i would've been!!!!

I think this play is genius and a great way to end a game!
November 11, 2010 at 9:53 pm |

Yes! This play is legit. My high school doesn't have that great of a football team and i am almost pretty sure that if our team used this play, we would win most of our games.
November 11, 2010 at 9:56 pm |
Damian
i think it was a smart thinking play i wouldnt never thought of that myself if it isnt consider cheating then why not go head and do it... you know
November 11, 2010 at 10:05 pm |
Siddharth
I thought it was great! What an amazing play! Most likely the other team must of thought "What is going on, no whistle and the quarterback snapping it off?" The whole world could learn from 1 college football team and can make history! These players are good...
November 11, 2010 at 10:10 pm |
Martin
This play was genius. It probably wouldnt pass in high school or higher, or they probably wont fall for it because the defense act like homing missles once the ball is snapped.
November 11, 2010 at 10:53 pm |
Mary
I'm still not sure what exactly happened. The guy pretended to hike it to the QB and went for the end zone and the other team didn't notice that the QB didn't have the ball? I'm confused. It was an interesting play though.
November 11, 2010 at 11:01 pm |
Austin
I think it was a good play. The defense should have known that if the referees haven’t blown the whistle and the ball is snapped the play is still going. It sounds like a whoops on the defense’s part to me.
November 11, 2010 at 11:05 pm |
Maxime
I think that the fake was hilarious and awesome. They didn't break any rules, so how is it be cheap shot? Great coaching and great play!
November 11, 2010 at 11:22 pm |
Seth
Not quite sure of the situation, but desperate times call for desparate measures. With the age of the two teams, I would say fair game. They are only kids, let them have some fun every now and then.
November 11, 2010 at 11:40 pm |
Roman
I have no idea why he did that but that funny little moment was something to remember, but i bet the other team wouldn't stop complaining.
November 11, 2010 at 11:52 pm |

I think its a great play. Its legal, so they could run it. Thats smart thinking to know thats legal.

I have seen this play before but it didnt work as well as it did this time. Last time i saw a QB sneak the QB got laid out cold but the line men but i have seen it work also i guess its just how lucky ur offenese is and what play the denfenese picks
November 12, 2010 at 11:10 am |

This play was genius! My team could have really used that one!
November 12, 2010 at 11:15 am |
Brooke
i think this was a very smart play but now every coach is going to want to use it
November 12, 2010 at 12:02 pm |
Geno
Not only was the play a "trick," but it was also very intelligent. Why do teams create fake punts and other trick plays? To catch the other team off guard, which is exactly what this play was designed to do, obviously worked. Thats just great coaching!!!!
November 12, 2010 at 12:02 pm |
Bobert
that was some smooth move! if the balll was in play, the the quarterback can do whatever he wants with it thats following the rules, even if the other team has no idea what hes doing! the rulebook doesn't say anything about walking...
November 12, 2010 at 12:45 pm |
Chance
Of all the football games I've seen I think that it was a really good idea and that it was very sneaky. People shouldn't be whining about a really good idea.
November 12, 2010 at 12:47 pm |
santo
I think it's a very cool play. I'm a football player myself and I think its just a good play. It's hilarious but I don't think it's cheap. The defense had ample time and ability to tackle the guy, he was just clever and sneaky. It was just a really good play, simple as that.
November 12, 2010 at 12:55 pm |
Hunter
That was smart I dont know why some people think its a cheap shot when you need points, you need points.
November 12, 2010 at 1:48 pm |

I think it was a good move but why did the other them just watch him. If i was them he would have put him on the ground.

i think they were realy smart to do that. and if the choach donset like it he can talk to the team about it. and i play football so i think it waz genius! play so i think they should put that play in a play book for the nfl
November 12, 2010 at 3:07 pm |
Kenai
That was a smart thinking, but I wonder if that is called cheating? I don't know much about football. But the team must've put a good fuss over nothing. I wonder what his parents have said about this? The coach must have not said that was a foul.
November 12, 2010 at 3:11 pm |

that was a groovy move
November 12, 2010 at 3:28 pm |

I think that if a football game is going rough,a team should be able to do anything it can to win the game. That's what footbal is about.

that is so freakin easy to cacth maybe greer high should start doing that instead of trying to take it all
November 12, 2010 at 6:12 pm |
Lucas
That Was BRILLIANT! What The Defense didn't see that the center legally snapped it so it was fair game. A Better version is walking to the sideline yelling "COACH! WE HAVE THE WRONG BALL!" Then Sprinting down the sideline!
November 12, 2010 at 8:40 pm |
Tori
I think this was the smartest thing ever!
November 12, 2010 at 8:47 pm |

That was todaly a cheap shot that could never happen lol 🙂
November 12, 2010 at 8:58 pm |

i think it was a cheap shot because the defence thought the QB was giving th ref the ball
November 12, 2010 at 9:21 pm |

I think that they were really lucky they pulled it of. I thought it was amazing and very smart thinking to have thought of that.
November 12, 2010 at 9:54 pm |

I think it was awesome nobody seen it coming and thats what made it such a good play
November 12, 2010 at 10:01 pm |
traevion
It was pretty cool but not necessary
November 13, 2010 at 12:12 am |
Connor
I think the play was fair. It was sneaky until the defensive player saw the trick. You should get credit for making a SNEAKY play.
November 13, 2010 at 1:40 am |
devin
I think that was a smart play or the defence are stupid. I think the defence thought the offence called timeout. So thats why it was a smart play

People say it is smart. I did not see the original thing, but i think this is smart, sneaky and genius as other people say. Just awesome. (by the way, I'm a girl)
November 13, 2010 at 11:16 am |

People says it is just luck, it takes a sneaky man to do that sort of thing. It was pure genius.
November 13, 2010 at 11:51 am |

I think that was a pretty smart move no one would expect them to just go strolling across the feild and by the time they realized he was alredy a third of the way there
November 13, 2010 at 11:56 am |
TRAVIS
I wish my team could think of somthing that sneaky!

I'm not much of a football person, but i think that move was funny, and I would have praised whoever came up with it! It shows how quick thinking can pay off in sports.
November 13, 2010 at 8:11 pm |

i think it was a smart move because (1. he tied the game, (2. he acted dumb, and finally (3. he played it out.
November 13, 2010 at 8:58 pm |

This was a smart choice by the coach. You got to do what you got to do!And the offense did it!
November 13, 2010 at 10:32 pm |

Part of football is out smarting your opponent and that is exactly what they did!Smart thinking!
November 13, 2010 at 10:34 pm |

i believe that the quarterback did a good job in football the object of the game is do what ever you can to win and im pretty sure that fake made the game a lot more interesting for every one and he deserves around of applause good job
November 13, 2010 at 11:03 pm |
Aemilia
I thought the move was VERY original..
November 13, 2010 at 11:30 pm |

I would say that that was smart thinking. Also it was hilarious. That was a very creative play, also a good way to score points! That team deserved to get a point.
November 13, 2010 at 11:48 pm |
erica
I think that what they did was all luck its not everyday you see a play like that. I give them tons of credit for it but it's something that they got away with once and never again will be able to attempt. The other opponent should've been more aware of the situation.
November 14, 2010 at 10:21 am |

I think it waas just smart thinking. It was a pretty good move.
November 14, 2010 at 10:23 am |

I was cracking up the first time I saw that play. That was huge! Smart thinking, definatly. I dont know alot about football, but still- thats just beawesome that that worked
November 14, 2010 at 11:26 am |
Courtney
I think that it was a very smart idea, and I think it was good that the coach actually knew the rules that well to be able to tell his players to run it. The play is also a one time play that no one will ever be able to run again.
November 14, 2010 at 11:59 am |
josette
People say that you have to play fair. but did'nt say anything about being sneaky careful what you fall for it might turn around and get you back.
November 14, 2010 at 2:22 pm |

he was probably planned it a long time and then used it when he needed more
November 14, 2010 at 4:50 pm |

I don't know how someone comes up with a play like that, but it was a smashing and hilarious play.
November 14, 2010 at 6:00 pm |

I think it was a smart move. My friends and I were cracking up about it during and after class. I wonder how the coach thought up that "smart" move!
November 14, 2010 at 6:08 pm |

I thought that was a good move because if it were in the last 30 seconds of the game and you were down by 2 if you do that you win
November 14, 2010 at 7:28 pm |
Tim
I think that play was awsome and smart! I give perks to the guy who made that one up. My favorite part was when the other team just stood there clueless and let the guy walk past.
November 14, 2010 at 7:43 pm |
Tommi
I think it was smart thinking because if it works and you can do it, it"s good
November 14, 2010 at 8:34 pm |

I love'd it! It may not have seemed fair to the other team or their coach, but it truely kept me laughing for hours!! Gooo Saints!

When I saw this I laughed sooooo hard, Because that is exacty what i do when we play family football! SUCH A GENIOUS!!!
November 14, 2010 at 10:48 pm |

i think it was a brilliant play. As long as it gets to the quarterback it"s technically not a foul play.
November 15, 2010 at 7:46 am |

that was a good shot it was so funny that was the best ever
November 15, 2010 at 11:25 am |

I thought it was hilarious, good thinking.
November 15, 2010 at 11:25 am |

i think the qb sneek was really cool and legal because the object of the game is to score points and if you have to trick the other team then do it if it is legal.
November 15, 2010 at 11:26 am |
Catherine
That was a smart move he made! And toddly funny too! And pluse its an legle ^_^
November 15, 2010 at 11:29 am |

i think that it was funny. next time they sould make it better
November 15, 2010 at 11:32 am |
Ashtyn
I think it was fair, honestly I think it's pretty sneaky of that guy to do that. Its a smart way to win and its totally fair. But, on the other hand it was a cheap shot because the defense thought the QB was giving the ref the ball haha.
November 15, 2010 at 11:35 am |
Fawwaz
i thought the sneek was legal because the object of the game is to score points then do it however you have to without being illegal.
November 15, 2010 at 11:36 am |
Haru
I'm sure it was ok because unless specified in the rule book, they can't say anything against it. It's not called a trick play because it's fair.
November 15, 2010 at 11:39 am |
jesus
i thoght that play was amazing nice thinking and congradulations guys.
November 15, 2010 at 11:47 am |
Taylor
I think that was a very good move on the teams part. In a game you try things to see if they work and if they don't you can either try and make it work or forget about it and make a new play. i have to say that was one of the smartest move i've seen. i like it.
November 15, 2010 at 11:53 am |
Rico
This move the quarterback made is the start of a new kind of football
November 15, 2010 at 11:54 am |
celestrial
I think it was a smart move and I think that could some day be a legendary move in football. It would be cool if I could do that.
November 15, 2010 at 12:46 pm |
paige
This was very tricky. I thought it was cleverly planned. I feel bad for the other team because if that was me i would feel ripped off. I dont think that they should be able to do this though because it changes how you play the game of football.
November 15, 2010 at 12:58 pm |
stephanie
I think that they were really smart to try that, but I don't think that it wouls work more than once.
November 15, 2010 at 1:00 pm |
Amethyst
Although it may not be all that fair because people wont realize whats happening. I feel like its alright for teams to do this because the rules allow them to if its not a fair play then the rules should be changed for a reason, but these plays were completely fair.
November 15, 2010 at 1:01 pm |
Even
I thought that it was a little cheap but I voted for smart thinking because it was smart thinking they went in like a regular lay and then booked it which is the best play I have ever seen.
November 15, 2010 at 1:02 pm |
Wyatt
This play was epic they sold it to the other team just right. By the time they noticed it was too late.
November 15, 2010 at 1:03 pm |
Kapi
It was smart thinking with a bit o' luck. Try it again and BAM I can't wait for the YouTube follow-up video when someone trys that again and gets run over.
November 15, 2010 at 1:38 pm |
danielle
someone tryed the same move yesterday and it was called out. i this it was a cheep shot 😉
November 15, 2010 at 1:44 pm |
Benjamin
Pulling a fake is just another part of the game. Your goal is to not let the other team know what you doing, and not being able to fake them out is just like letting them know what your doing.
November 15, 2010 at 1:47 pm |
Ryan
If they planned it, genius. If they didn't, they got lucky. Either way, that was awesome to see.
November 15, 2010 at 3:12 pm |
Ali
I think it was a smart move because no one was expecting it
November 15, 2010 at 4:32 pm |

This play was smart, clever, and strategic. If the other team would have thought of it, they wouldn't be complaining.
November 15, 2010 at 5:35 pm |
Samantha
I think its fair cause well it was during the game and that that was a smart thinking. I laughed my butt off when i saw it.Cause i had never seen any one do that. and well now that its out to the world every one knows so you probably wont be able to pull that out on anyone else.haaha but good job.=D
November 15, 2010 at 6:42 pm |
Isaac
that was really smart tying that move out. It was cool. I think i will tell my football coach and try that TRICK!!!
November 15, 2010 at 7:03 pm |
Lily
I thought that play was very cool and very fair. The defense saw exactly what they were doing and they weren't supposed to expect what he was going to do, that's the whole point of the game, to be ready for anything. The coach that came up with this is a genius and they should use those types of plays more often.
November 15, 2010 at 8:00 pm |
derek
all i know is that its a great play and Brett Farve definetly can't pull that play off
November 15, 2010 at 8:46 pm |
Aspen
i think he did a really smart move
November 16, 2010 at 8:34 am |
Sandy
I think it was a cheap shot. Football is all about pride for your school. If you did this your school would probably be called cheaters. That makes your school lose pride
November 16, 2010 at 9:01 am |
Mrs. May's class
That quarterback sneak was the most brilliant play ever. His team was loosing with a couple seconds left to go in the game they could not go through the other team so they threw a trick play in and look it worked to perfection. I think that the play was totally legit because it was totally fair and they tricked them I wouldn't dought them if they ran the same play next season or better yet later this season.
November 16, 2010 at 10:20 am |
Matt
That was the smartest thing ever! When someone does a trick play like that the other team forgets the main rule in football: If the ref doesn't blow the wistle the play is LIVE and you should tackle him.
November 16, 2010 at 12:03 pm |
Evan
I think this play was AWESOME! It was totaly leagal and the other team fell for the play. That was one of the sweetest plays I ever saw. The only thing I am worried about is that the school may loose there reputation and be called cheaters, even though the play was leagal.
November 16, 2010 at 12:15 pm |
Mr. Faulk
While the snap/alignment/run were completely legal, the coach and quarterback engaged in a deceitful activity (which is illegal) and should have been penalized. While trickery is a part of our beloved game, deceitfulness is not.
Also, a coach is a part of the team, but should never be a part of the play. Furthermore, this didn't show a teams superiority or intelligence, this displayed that the team couldn't score in a real way and became desperate enough to cross a line of unsportsmanlike conduct.
For reference, this type of play is forbidden in high school, college and the NFL by rule (unsportsmanlike conduct).
November 16, 2010 at 2:04 pm |
Raela
whe ever made this play was a pure genuis! Just because they choose not to move if someone is moving with the ball does not mean they should not have been paying attention. After all the number one rule of football is to never take your eye off the ball.
November 16, 2010 at 3:55 pm |
Josie
What a smart idea!...this play is awesome..it's not the quarterbacks fault if the other team was confused about what he was doing...all I can say is nice job Brett Farve
November 16, 2010 at 4:09 pm |
nya
I thinck that was some smart thincking if i played football i would of did that

I don't watch much football, because we don't watch TV, but I think it's a sneaky move that nobody has ever seen beforehand. I wouldn't be suprised if that quarterback was accepted into the NFL for that sly move.
November 17, 2010 at 3:29 am |
Anthony
I can't believe it! But it's got to be a fair play. Man, maybe I should join football. Then maybe I could copy him! Let's see it in reverse!

The play was smart.Maybe the vikings could use that play to win a game
November 17, 2010 at 9:23 am |
Kasia
I think that was a smart move. I mean really it makes everyone confused in the other team so you have at least 5 seconds to do something like run then score. That's what I think.
November 17, 2010 at 9:24 am |
Kaitlyn
It was an awsome play! Maybe the New Orleans Saints can use that to win the superbowl AGAIN!
November 17, 2010 at 9:36 am |

that was a cool sneaky move......
November 17, 2010 at 9:56 am |

That was like the most coolest idea EVER!!! I think all the quaterbacks should make a smart/sneaky move once in a while. LOL! Nice job that quaterback i dont know........... lol
November 17, 2010 at 9:58 am |

Was the play legit? If so what's the rule on hiking the ball?

The quarter back sneak was very funny
November 17, 2010 at 10:04 am |

I think that was a NICE play to me. Any quarterback in college that does that will be drafted to the NFL and go to the Philadelphia Eagles team to go to the superbowl.
November 17, 2010 at 10:05 am |
Jenny
I think that quarterback was awesome
November 17, 2010 at 10:05 am |

i think that play was cheep it should be a foul and the player that did that play should be out of football and i love your show
November 17, 2010 at 10:06 am |

THAT WAS A SMART IDEA! I've never seen anything like that! Ha ha i had to watch it twice to understand what happened. I want their coach to come and coach our football team.

I think that was smart thing because the other team would have never guested that they were doing a brilliant trick like that!
November 17, 2010 at 10:40 am |

That move was the best fake i have seen. If only it was Texas vs. Alabama, and Texas would win. But I thought it was funny when the other team noticed it when the guy was halfway down the field!!!!!!:p

i think that was an amzing play! i am an georgia fan, but i would go for any team that would do that play! go dawgs! 🙂

it was a really funny play they outsmarted the other team. even though they won it does not matter they shouldnt of done that they kind of cheated in a way .

I'm going to do that when I play football.

this was very smart because they got a TOCHDOWN from that trick play!! It was AWESOME!
November 17, 2010 at 5:45 pm |

That trick was really clever but I've thought of football of more physical skills, not as much intellectual skills.

i like football but idont lik b ing smashed
November 17, 2010 at 7:10 pm |

well when the teennanger boy did that sneak, it was funny and also the other team just stared at him while he was passing by with the football. and when he passed by, finnally one of the other team stop staring and began to run and try to touch him. so the boy ran with the football and so he fell, but its okay because at lease he was closed to the goal, and he did that plan.
November 17, 2010 at 7:13 pm |
Alyssa
That was a great idea! I mean who would have thought that they would think it was still going. That was also some skill on acting to actually make it look like there was a pause. Thank you for reading my commit!
November 17, 2010 at 7:15 pm |
Lian
I thougt that was so funny but, it was also short but worth it that guy was like "just give me the ball ". and literaly walked across the feild and then ran that was really funny.

that is not real football and to practice that and put it in the playbook WOW
November 18, 2010 at 6:38 pm |

I thought it was a good smart move it was awsome i didnt think it was cheap the other team could have done the same when they got the oppurtunity i thought it was sneaky but good
November 18, 2010 at 7:38 pm |

That was a sick move. He was just walking casually, until he passed the line of scrimmage, when he started to run like mad!

i love the quarterback sneak. i think the chargers should use it more often. it is a football move that has gone under the radar but in key 3rd or 4th and short it might be pretty dependable.
November 19, 2010 at 1:03 pm |
chad
It was the best sneak in football iv ever seen.
November 19, 2010 at 1:47 pm |

I think that it is fair if it is in the rule book. I also think football is all fair in love and war.
November 19, 2010 at 1:56 pm |
Fabio
Man if I was on the defensive side, I wouldn't have let that happen without a fight. The other team would have to be really desperate to use a cheap play. And then they went to the championship game and lost? That's not even worth it.
November 19, 2010 at 2:03 pm |
maggie
that trick shot was very smart...nothing cheap in football they scored a touchdown thats all that matters!!!!
November 19, 2010 at 6:29 pm |
Sammie
No question about it, a cheap shot. As you can plainly see in the video, the defence was looking around to see if the coaches or referees called something. That souldnt be allowed.
November 20, 2010 at 8:41 pm |
nick
it was a very good play because the defense was not ready for the sneak
November 20, 2010 at 9:10 pm |

I think the play was very smart it fulled the defense and thats all u need. I think it shouldn't be a cheap play because he still ran the ball but in still a sneaky motion.
November 22, 2010 at 9:12 am |
Kai-Lin
I think it would be fair. I mean it is legal so it should be okay. like they just did a play and it was like a regular play. It might be a little cheap but it was smart.
November 22, 2010 at 9:12 am |
A.J.
i think that was amazingly smart
November 22, 2010 at 9:14 am |

i think its a good play and you should e aloud to do it. We should be able to do it and the defense should just have to deal with it. I love this play.
November 22, 2010 at 9:14 am |

It takes a lot of skill to make it look like you don't have the ball and pretty funny he never got caught. TILL THE END.

this was a smart thing to do but if he was moving so slow it should be pretty easy to stop him. so you cant say he cheated.
November 22, 2010 at 9:18 am |

I believe this was a very smart move. It's definently against the rules so why not try. they got a touchdown and probably won the game. If i was a coach I would do the exact same thing.
November 22, 2010 at 2:48 pm |

THAT WAS AWESOME!
November 22, 2010 at 2:48 pm |
Devin
You have to be very creative to come up with that move.
November 22, 2010 at 2:50 pm |
Dustin
That move was completely fair. The other team was just confused, and was stupid for falling for the trick. It is completely legal, but even if they kept it legal, people know about it now. Coaching tricks should become illegal though.
November 22, 2010 at 2:51 pm |
Gabby
That was a great move! Football is about focus, strategy, and strength. If the other team wasn't smart enough to pay attention, that's their fault for not really playing football!!!
November 22, 2010 at 2:51 pm |

I don't think that move was an issue it was sneaky though
November 22, 2010 at 2:52 pm |

November 22, 2010 at 8:16 pm |

i thought that was a smart move but yet again think of how fair it is... its not because think of the people playing in the game then this quarterback just walks right past them and gets a touchdown???????????????????????
November 22, 2010 at 10:39 pm |
Erik
I think that the play was good. The play followed the rules and nothing illegal was done. The offense did not make a bad play, the defense did something stupid on their part.
November 23, 2010 at 9:12 am |
mikiah
i think that was a dirty play and that the coaches who practiced it are desperate for winning to do that kind of play it was not necessary they must of been really really desperate to call it . but with like the fake punts and things like that then yes those are clean plays but what this team did wasn't needed
November 23, 2010 at 9:17 am |
Meagan
I think that was very smart especially for a middle school team.
November 23, 2010 at 9:28 am |

I think it was really smart because obviously nobody would be expecting it, and it is really halarious because they beleived the trick.
November 23, 2010 at 4:20 pm |

I think it was fair the sneek worket and the other team fell for it so it was fair
November 23, 2010 at 4:25 pm |
MaTT
This was a relly cool move very smart
November 23, 2010 at 4:34 pm |
Meiko
The other team could have easily realized what was going on and done something about it. They chose not to, and I think that's their own fault not the team with the smart play.
November 24, 2010 at 11:21 am |
Iglesias
I thought the play was very sneaky and that the quarterback has good self control to be able to calmly walk by the other teams whole defensive line and make a successful play.
November 24, 2010 at 11:27 am |
Tess
That was the smartest thing I've ever seen. When I first saw it, I thought they'd called a timeout, but then when I heard that the play was live I couldn't believe it was legal. That quarterback was so calm about it. That's why I think it worked.

I thought it was funny but it was smart too 😀
November 29, 2010 at 10:40 am |

I think it was a good and a bad move, because the good part is that you can get the team more points, and the bad part is that you could get caught and that is like cheating so that is bad, if i had to choose to do the good or bad, it's good because i would always want to do the right thing when it comes to sports. 🙂
November 30, 2010 at 8:38 pm |

I also thought that was funny and a smart move..

That was a cheep shot. I watch tons of football and there coach should of told the defense to sack him!
December 1, 2010 at 8:35 pm |

The person who thought of that is so smart why are hey working for a football team? Well I think it was the best play in the history of high school football.
December 1, 2010 at 10:04 pm |
emma
i think it was a good idea but it might not be so fair the other players might have thought someone was hurt or something like that..
December 2, 2010 at 1:51 pm |

I'm surprised they acually thought of that sneaky runnaway. I believe it's acually very smart thinking. But not fair to the other team.
Take a study break and find out what's filling the notebook of CNN Student News anchor Carl Azuz. We love your comments. Remember, keep them on topic and only use your first name.
It was the coolest move ever. may be the Bears could use it.
I thought it was amazing
This is a great way to honor our veterans.
playing with the sea animals is a great experience that most people never have an opportunity!
I think the play was very smart. If the other team wasn't paying attention, who's fault is that? The quarterback saw his opportunity and he took it. If the other team was silly enough to fall for the trick play, that's their fault. The play was smart. Way to go smart quarterback and, most of all, smart coach!
I really appreciate the coach who came up with that move. It was really sneaky, And I bet the defence felt like dummies after he scored. What a laugh out loud moment!
it think it was cool
As a player who is always a starter I think that was the smartest play in the world. ( If only I could get my coach to do that play). But really I bet the QB could have run faster than that.
This was a smart move and the coach really thougth well of how to tie up the game.
it was smart and awesome!!!
it wasnt a cheap trick the other team is just jelous that they didnt think of it.i think that they had a great game (both teams). anyways weather who wins or looses you should have fun.
I think that it was actually very smart because that is really not something that you see in a regular football game and since it was so unexpected it confused alot of people which is good in a game of football at least.
That team was smart the other team didn't even see that coming, but that was a bit unfair cause what if they thought he was going to talk or give the ball to them.
I don't think that was a very fair play. The coach must have been desperate. I just can't believe the opposing defense let the guy through! If I was a ref, that wouldn't have slid by... especially to tie a game.
I think that was cheap because that would be a violation and when they do that the other teams will pick that up and do that then it starts fight and protests and we dont want that.
I think it is a smart move because, he confused the defence.
....I watch this play over and over. The kids are losing and they need a score if im not mistaken. It was a very smart play, the defense should of thought something was gong on. I give credit to those little kids very smart play.....
ti give kudos to the football team the QB sneak was amazing the play was called a QB sneak so no it was not a cheap shot it was real smart thinking on behalf of the coach.
I thought the play was totaly SWEET!!
I thought that that was clever and smart thinking of the coach. I would have never thought of that!
I think that the play was beautifully designed. No football rule denies the right to a quarterback sneak. It's just that no one had ever experienced anything like this, so they were confused. Poor quarterback, he was pummeled by #81 in the endzone celebration.
I think the trick play was an awesome play but, i think the coach of the other teams will start doing that play soon.
The coach was thinking 'outside of the box' when he came up with this trick football play. I think the coach was brilliant in his endeavors and it proves in his touchdown results.
I think that it is amazing for someone to think of an idea like that. The other team could have went after the football, but they didn't because they were too surprised. I don't know how to play football, but I don't think that it is against the rules to use your brain.
I think that play was fair and should be added to all play books. It's simply creative thinking by the coach and good role acting by the quarterback. I enjoyed watching how the defense just stood stunned because of confusion as quarterback walked by.
I think that play was fair and should be added to all play books. It's simply creative thinking by the coach and good role acting by the quarterback. I enjoyed watching how the defense just stood stunned because of confusion as quarterback walked through.
Whatever scores points and wins the game. Good play.
I think it was an awesome thing .I have never seen a play like that before.
This was an illegal play because nobody on the line of scrimmage moved. The only ones that moved were the center and Quarterback so they false started.
best play i've ever seen football.
OMG! This was such a good idea! Good job!
I think this was a very clever idea. There is nothing in the rule book that says that you can't be sneaky and follow the rules.
it was awesome he tricked the other team.
I think that was a smart idea
I thought that was a smart play to tie the game up.i would of never thought of that play.
I don't think you should be able to do that I think it should be some kind of penalty.
It's smart thinking because the coach had to go through the rule book to sure that was legal.
That was such a cheap shot. It was not even a good play it was so cheap.
I think it was cheap shot cause of the people should of known what he was doing.
I think that it was a very good play. Most people think it wasn't fair but I think that it is the best play I've ever seen.
It was smart but in ways it was cheap but smart .
I think that the way the team worked together to make sure that they got that touchdown was amazing. It was a great plan and the other team should be more focused and not get as easily distracted.
Although I haven't seen it before, it was AWESOME!!!! I can't believe that the coach came up with that idea.
Beastly play it was hilarious
It's smart thinking because the coach had to go through the rule book to sure that was legal. That's why I think it was smart. I don't know why there was 10% on the cheap shot.
i thank it is a smart play because we tried to do it to.
wow way to play guys
I think that was Smart thinking awesome play because it look like he is confuse but that was a illegal play.
I think it is a smart play
I think that was the coolest play ever.....but it won't work forever.Once another team sees that play. They'll be ready!
I think that it was a really smart idea to perform that play. They confused the defense and tied the game! I think it was also pretty funny!
Amazing! That was an epic move! I hope the other team learns their lesson
I think it was a very creative idea
I personally think it was a very clever idea. Also very creative, I don't think that it was unfair at all.
Very smart move
I thought it was genius!
bad move
I think it was a terrible decision. You need to be fair and equal to the other team. They shouldn't have counted that touchdown, they' are deffinatly being cheapshots!
i think that it was funny, but very smart thinking by the coach.
I thought that was awesome.
I think it is a smart move because the other team didn't know what was going on. As long as its not against the rules; you should be able to do it.
I think that this was smart thinking for this team because they thought of something that the other team wouldn't catch on to.
I think that it was a good idea. When the kid started walking away, i think that they should have realized what they were doing. I think that this was a very smart, fair idea.
I think it was a great play. Very smart. There is nothing in the rule book that say you can't walk. The other team should have realized the play sooner. But I personally think it was great!
I think this is fair i think where gonna have to try that on my team, and i gonna run the ball
This is a great play I think I saw it on Sport Center it was a Top Play! I think who ever the coach is, must be smart enough to think of it and if you look the lineman were the ones who sold it.
Personally, I don't think thats fair. That should be illegal. I have to say though that was a very smart move. I think though that now that everyone has seen the play no one is going to fall for it so I don't know.
i think that that play was an awesome play. The QB did a good job of selling it but what made the play work was the offensive line. They didn't move and acted like it was the wrong ball, which made the defense not now what was going on. Heads up play.
It was a neatly designed play, but there should have been two penalties on the play. Although it was a nice play it should have been called off.
Your show is awesome Carl!
That was pretty great
I think it was smart. The other team should have realized what they were doing, he was walking right towards them. I think it's a fair play.
I thought that the play was very tricky! I don't think it was fair to the other team though. The play they did was lying and gave the other team no chance to even stop them, so it was unfair.
i think that it was a very good idea, because then the team doesnt have time to think about what there doing. they just kinda seemed dumbfounded when the quarterback just started walking.
I believe it is fair. The other team should be ready for anything to happen.
For a middle school contest I think this play was unnecessary. The point of middle school football is to teach the players the fundamentals of the game not to trick the other team to obtain success.
that play was smart thinking it tricked the defense and they scored its football dont whine about it deal with it.
I thought it was hilarous. But I think it was a good play the defence just was not thinking
I think it was crazy. I have bin watching football scene i was 3 and i have never seen something like that i think that is crazy!! I think it took the other players by surprise so i think it was great that some one thought of some thing out side of the box.
that was so funny.that was a great idea.they were all just standing there.
I thought that was actually pretty smart. It confused the other team enough for the quater back to make the touch down, and it's also a good laugh.
That QB sneak was awsome and if i played football i would do the sneak play to.
is was so funny!!! All of the players are looking at him like what are you doing! It was the most funnest thing after the punkin growing up the tree and people making boats out of pumkins.
I think that was a realy cheap shot but I do think it is realy funny.
Sports are all about out smarting the other team. Confusing the other team is one of the best ways to do it.
I think it was a good play because it teaches the opposing team to always be prepared and expect the unexpected. Also your puns were hilarious.
As long as it doesn't break the rules, I think it's smart thinking.
This was very enternaining for crowd.
That kid was a pretty sneaky kid through the defense. The other kids was thinking what is that kid doing.
It was a good play, but you don't do that in real football."
smart thinking by the coach but the guy was lucky he didn't get taken out by the linebacker
I thought the quarterback sneak was a great play. If I could of thought about that I would have done it. The opposing team might not have liked it but sometimes you have to do something like that to win games.
Thats got to be one of the smartest trick plays i have ever seen.
I thought it was just plain smart thinking. Also the fact that even his team was in on it pure gold.
i really think that was a smart move on the coach also a cheap shot. Monte vista ,my school should use the move.
it's sad that people are angry about the play working. that 9% in the statistics? i'm pretty sure thats just the other team and its supporters, who are more than likely just angry that they were the ones who fell for it. seeing as more people agree that it was a smart move, i'm pretty sure that it's not against the rules of the game.
OmG... That was the greatest play ever why did my school football team think of that.... All credits go to the quarterback... Who would ever think of that play i am so happy that they won and went to the playoffs con-grates to all the players.
That was probably the smartest trick play, I've ever seen. And on top of that its totally legal
This was very entertaining for the fans
Well First off this Country is the bomb.com I think that you should dress up to honor the Veterans and also just think about what the did for you and this great Country.
I think that the play was one of the smartest things created to help a football team win a game. To me the play was not cheating the play was totally legal you have to do what you have to do to win within the rules of the game. GO FOOTBALL
I think that was a smart idea to do that play. It was so funny. It was cool. I think they should try that at our school next year on the football team.
I don't know much about football, but what I can see from the video is that it's more the brute strength. Some people may call it a cheap shot, but that play was genius enough to get a TD. It looks really funny as well to see the opposite team stand there like while the QB sprints for it.
Definition from http://www.dictionary.net/hike
I think it was a good idea. I'm a big football fan and I think it was a fair play because he had the ball before he crossed the line. It was a great, really slow QB sneak. The players on the other team we all like, "What's going on?" It was really funny.
That wasn't fair to the other team. They should play by the rules.
I think that was funny but awsome the other taem just stood their thinking what is he doing hahaha.
that is funny the defense look at him like what are u doing. i am going to see if that will work are game in north carolina go stafford faclons.
I dont like football i think it is boring but that made me laugh also, my teacher made me do this
That was brilliant! I can't believe that actually worked.
Their play was smart thinking. It really tricked the defense it looked like they were lost out there. I wish we could of thought of that play.
I think that the quarterback sneak was a really cool play and it was very very good thinking. I don't think it was a cheap shot at all I give their coach two thumbs up!!!!!!!
That was good thinking and it worked. in a game you have to think of ways to catch the other team off gaurd and thats what they did.
I think it was a smart play. The quarterback and the coach did a good job coming up with that play. I guess some people will do whatever to win.
I think that this is a great move by the coach it is the simpilest play in the book and I would like to try it with my football team if the game is on the line.
For as long they still played by the rules it should be fair. I wonder how the opposite coach must be feeling now. If there were more plays like these in proffessional football it be funny. All in all it must have been a one way shot since opposing teams wont fall for the same trick twice in later games.
I feel that it should count. If the other team wasn't thinking ahead, it's their own fault.
I think that has to be one of the greatest plays i've ever seen, that was a really smart idea for a play
I think that it's completely fair, and downright hilarious. I don't think it's that cheap, it's just a silly play that could very much help to win the game. The other team wasn't expecting it, but now they know
I believe it was a smart move. They spent time thinking it out, and played it. I think it should be counted as a touchdown.
I think that this was a good play to think of. I think that it is fair as longs as it was not breaking the rules. I think that if it was against the rules of football then they should not be able to do it. If it is allowed then sure why not, I don't see why there is anything wrong with it.
Wow that was a very smart play by the offensive corrdinator. It was even better how they acted confused about what was going on. I think that it was deffiently not a cheap shot. The plays not over until the ref blows the whistle.
I think this is a truly brilliant move. If it isn't against the rules and it will raise you score...why not use it?!? Deceiving you opponent has always been one of the most important parts to a sport.
It was a great move by a smart team. Who would think to just walk past the defense? Good stuff.
I think that that play should be legal, and it wasn't a cheap shot at all. He hiked the ball, and ran with it. Fair enough. The person who created that play is a mad genius!
I think it was clever! They were just playing their strengths, and one of them is smart thinking. It's not against the rules, and it's fun to watch, so why not?
I really thought that was outstanding! If I had been on defense I would have been so confused! That play really made my day!!!! 😀
I though that the idea of having this football sneak was a good idea and it should be completely legal. The coach who came up with it was very clever in making it seem like they where not going yet. I believe that it should be completely legal and used because the defense should know that they are playing and that some play like that could work and get passed them so they have to be patient.
I think this was amazing. I don't think it was a cheapshot though. If the other team was stupid enough to no realize what was happening then that's their fault. LRHS should try this. 🙂
Good job, nice thinking on your feet!
I think that was a genius idea; he was taking a peaceful approach instead of alerting the players. I just wish I could use something like that in basketball! This was a smart idea and not a cheat.
I think that it was totally legal. He didn't really break any rules of the game, and no one ever said that you can't be smart and creative in the way that you get a touchdown...
I Think that this play was amazingly smart and that it is just like any other fake out play. It is kind of like the BYU V. Utah Game in 2009 where max hall walked way and Harvey Unga hiked the ball and scored the touchdown
The whole point of a trick play, is to trick the opponent. This is clearly a well designed play.
I think that it was a Smart thinking and he did a great job at thinking it.
A lot of professional teams use trick plays like this one; so why couldn't the younger ages use them?
I think it was weird that the QB did that, but it was a good touchdown
I think that it was a smart play. The quarterback acted like he didn't know what was going on and it played towards his benefit. Overall it was a very fair play.
Not only was this quarterback sneak hilarious and enjoyable to watch, it showed us all that sports don't have to be taken so seriously all the time. Why do we play sports? To have fun doing something we love, not to be constantly wrapped up in the competitive ugly side of sports.
I don't think that was smart for that guy to sneak off with the ball . I think he might be in trouble for that.
That was an awesome play I saw this play on cmon man on monday night it was awesome
P.S Carl you rock 😉
that was awsome! you think he would walk to the endzone.
brillent
i think it was briliant
and i have played football all my life and i love to see plays like that
fair
i think that it was good thinking.
I think the play was fair, it wasn't against any regulation. I think it was a very good idea that the couches had.
the defense is stupid for not even noticing him walking past them
i think it was a smart and the other team is not smart
it was a good move
I don't know much about the rules of football, but to think of a play like that, these kids must be pretty brilliant.
that was a very cool move it was awesome.
i think my school should try that it is very smart
I think trick plays hardly work and when they do its always awesome. That was a great play. I think that trick plays should be fair because their not doing any thing wrong. and thier COOL to watch
I think this was a genuis play! They completely fooled the defense. Isn't that normally a good thing?
it should be out of bouns if not they should tackle him
well the play was very smart it really confused people .I liked the play the coach came up with.
Toatally smart I LOVE LOVE LOVE it 😀
I thought it was a smart play!!!! I would have never thought of that one!!!!! 🙂
It was very smart chaching. That play tied the game. If I could think of something that smart I would have done the same thing
I Think it was a smart thing to do it caught everybody in the stadium off guard and shocked, but the question is did the win the game?
I personally believe that was a very smart move on the offense's part. That was called a side-snap, it is a perfectly legal move. If the other team is gullible enough to let it occur then that is their own fault.
I THINK IT WAS AN EXCELLENT PLAY. IF YOU NEED TO SCORE THATS THE PERFECT WAY TO DO IT.(AND TO THE PEOPLE WHO DISAGREE WHEN THE BALL MOVES YOU SHOULD TO) NO EXCUSES THAT WAS A PERFECT PLAY!!!!!! I LOVED IT.
I don't exactly know what to say about this. It puzzles me how it was possible for him to get through like that. Why did the opposing team delay like that? They should've been all over him. Something doesn't add up to me.
it asome I thake that it wold work for eve tem
That was the best play i've ever seen. Ps. lets hope the Saints are not watching.
I think he had smart thinking, the other team was just standing there. I think that it's a bit funny. Number 19 on the other team was the only smat one on his team, if any body else on his team was as smart as him, they would have tackled.
What would Vince Lombardi do? That move is a disgrace to the game. Honor players past and present by honoring the game. That is playground stuff there.
i think it was cool, but the fact that it won't ever be able to happen again. cause once other people know about it they would try & once it's out there it just won't be able to go off like that.
To be truthful I personal thought it was the best hand and run game play.
thats what we need on the feald smatr players there would have been less ingeryes
i thought that was cool cause not alot of people can trick the other tean as good as that play.
It is smart thinking because the other team didn't know what the quarterback was doing until it was starting to unralvel
i think that it is good for that team to have something that is legal but has never been seen or used before! and they should take advantage of it before the other teams figure it out and start using it against everyone else
I think that its was foul play and i think its not such a good idea to do such thing beaceuse how do you think poeple are going to veiw this,
what could be thier perspective for it
i think it was a great game trick because the defense didnt even move
We feel as if this play was very inviting and awesome. We would love to see more people accomplish this play. It was really interesting the way he faked it. This was really amazing.
i think its smart thinking because of the fact that everybody else was confused and didnt kno what was comeing their way.
People need to know what to put online and what not to put online. Some things are meant to be secret. If I were those people putting things that they know are not very appropriate on the computer, I would be very embarrassed.
I didn't see that one coming
Its football and things like that happen. The main thing is the play was clean and in my opinion well exicuted.
Haha I Think It Was A Good Play! (: If I Were A Guy I Would Had Never Thought Of That Play. GOOD PLAY (:
I thought what the quarterback did was really cool. It was definitely smart thinking. That teams coach really thought outside the box on that play!
I think that if the other team thought of this genius plan they would of used it. I also believe that it is fair game because anyone could of though of it.
This was a really smart play. Made me laugh.. It's shoucking, you wouldn't think this would ever happen. SMART THINKING !!
I think it was a smart move because none of the members on the other team knew what he was doing... They could have tackled him but it was a smart move that nobody knew..
I think it was a very smart play that is what football is all about, to make strategic plays to win the game sooo a very smart play by the offense.
I guess Only in Texas!!! UIL is gonna have to rewrite its rules I guess.
I think that the play was very genious and more schools should make up their own plays.
Well the play was pretty smart indeed, that i know, there's no rule that states that the player can't pass the ball to the quarterback over the shoulder. But who knows, if the point counted then im guessing it was a good play.
It think it was a smart move... It is not their fault that the other team did not know that they should tackle him instead they just stood still...
I think it was a smart move and the other team should have tackled him but the move was so smart that they did not think it was a trick..
I think it was a cheap shot because it was a dirty move.. They should have played like they normally play which is running when they catch the ball..
good idea
It was an intelligent move because the other team was left wondering what they were doing insetad of going to action..
It think it was a smart move Carl because the other team was left feeling blank and they did not reacted fast enough...
I think it was an awesome play and really funny. If i played football it would be something that i would want to try.
i think that was a awesome play by the coach. the quarterback should have walked the hole way.
i think that the play was a good play and coaches should really watch out for those plays
I personally think it was a good play because it was so sneaky it worked perfect it was so cool i enjoyed it !
I think that was just a truly awesome trick play.
The other team should have hit the quaterback even if they thought it was a false start
I think that the play was funny and smart, funny because nobody was expecting it, and they thought that the coaches would have a flag thrown.
cheap cheap cheap play those guys
I Believe They Did What They Have To Do, I Mean, After All, Its Just A Game. It Doesnt Matter As Long As They Had Fun.
Football is football, fakes are only strategy, maybe next time they should improve for next time.
I think that play was totally right. It is just like any other trick play done by football teams. And junior high schools can get away with it, since they don't have a lot of experience at playing football.
I thought this was an awesome play, and smart move for the team that got the touchdown. Nice job Boys!
I think that it was a pretty good idea to do that play on them, because who would EVER be expecting something that sneaky? Football is all about strategy, and doing what needs to be done to win the game, and sometimes tricky plays are EXACTLY what you need to accomplish that!
I think that this was a great idea! I think that it was fair and that the other team just fell asleep. You always listen for the whistle.
It was a smart play by the team because no one has seen that play before and i don't think that team expected an awesome play
I think that the quarterback, played a legal game. The team was smart to think of that, and the other team must have been asleep or something. I think it would be a good idea if they used the play against other teams.
I think that it was an awesome way of scoring! I think that it was a smart idea and it was interesting to watch! The other team must of been fired up haha!
Wow now this is a shocker! I think it sounds really strange that the football did that, but more power to him if he is brave enough! I guess the players should be more aware of what is going on.
I think that the play was great! It was a perfectly legal play that out smarted the defense. Since there wasn't a whistle on the play the defense should have tackled the quarterback as he crossed the line of scrimmage.
Our class thinks that it was a great play because it was a clever way to score a touchdown. The player didn't do anything illegal, so we think the coach is a genius!!!
i think that was fair i mean it made my day when i saw it, and i think it count because that just proved that they weren't in the game. people need to be more smart in there plays like this one, it makes the game interesting and challenging.
I think that it was a smart move because it made them get a touch down. I recomend to those football players to try an do that so all of you can score.
Some times when you have no idea what to do all you got to do is just come up with crazy ideas and that's exactly what that team did. I give them props for coming up with such a smart idea. the only down side to this is you probably won't be very liked among others.
I think that was a smart move to do. But it shouldent count because the other team fell for it and it wasnt nice for them to that. Also because i dont htink they were supose to do that.
well the opponet team was supposed to always keep their eye on the ball at all times. It doesn't mean that they should let the other player walk off with it. They need to be prepared at all time.
That was hilarios!
I personally don't like football but out of all the times i have seen it that was probably the smartest well thought out play i have ever seen. It was very tricky but it made the game more interesting.
We think that it was good to have some fun in competitive sports. It made the game more interesting and we enjoyed watching it.
In my opinion...If they were smart enough to think it up, then they should be able to use it freely.
I don't really know if it was right or wrong... but it was sure funny to see the people's faces!
He didn't step out of bounds did he? No, he did nothing wrong so it's smart.
Smart thinking
That play was perfect, who ever the coach was he is a genius.
this is not a cheap shot because it is a trick play it is just like the flea flicker when it first came out
I think that was the best play ever. I did not see that coming. It was so good that I was shocked when I saw that. I would tell my team to do the same thing if I knew I could get away with it.
That coach need a novel price that was some smart thinking i recomend it to all the schools!
This was a really smart move by the QB. This was toaltaly fair. This was awesome!
this is a cheap shot because the d-fense was not expecting it
this is a not cheap shot cause this play is just like the flea flicker when it first came out
I think it was a good idea. It was kinda of funny cause the kids on the other team were just like what is he doing. I thought it was a pretty good idea.
I think it's a great idea. An ingenious plan thought out by the coach to just walk. Most sports requires running, but just walking got everyone confused.
that play was great idea i wish we had done it during our season
i think the play sould have gotten more effort from the other team
I think it was a really cheap move. I think it just shows that their team is better then theirs so they did a cheap shot to win. It's like throwing a low blow in boxing if he is bigger then you.
i think the other team should have givin more effort instead of just one person going after the qb
it was a smart move and luck shot
I thought it was hilarious!!! It was the funniest thing ever.
I think that they were just playing the game . They found a stratagy that worked, and used it on the feild, and the other team fell for it. I think that it's fair and a smart play.
I think that the Quarterback sneak is a good idea. But it seems like cheating to me.
It was funny and very smart. The other team was just standing there thinking huh? What? Is that legal? is the game called? It was legal and funny.
I think that it was a very smart move because if you trick the other team it is very smart!
i think that was great i cant belive that the other team fell for it!! hahaha how funny.
SMART THINKNG ON THAT QUARTER BACK SNEAK:)
that was a smart move if i was the coach then i would be so proud of myself !smart thinking
This play is not even legal! The ball was not snapped through the center's legs... I'm surprised the play wasn't stopped... Those silly geese.
I think it was very well planned out it was fare and very funny
i thought it was smart to think out side the box,but the should have played regular football.
I thought it was funny. And if that was called a penlty i am mad!!!!!!!!!
I think that the football player must have had some real brains and the other team maybe no brains. The football player was really smart to do that no luck was needed.
i think this was well thought out and and totally awesome!!!
Well,it was a good play, and I don't think it was against the rules,so,great job coach.
i think that the sneak was a good play because once the ball moves its consider the ball was snapped i wish that play would work for my high school team LOL 🙂
This is one of the oldest tricks in the book. The coach was just smart enough to realize that it would work.
I think this was a smart move. It is totally leagal.
i think that it was a great play. i keeps people on their toes and its good to have a new play thrown out there after a while. i think who ever thought of this play was pretty smart cause as you can see it worked.
I believe that iit a cheap shot! It's cheating even!!
I think it was a smart play, not a cheap shot at all. The ball was live, and the defense just didn't pay enough attention. Football is fun to watch!
I think that it was a great play.
I think that some other teams should try it.
I think it was a easy way to score a point!
I think that the play was pretty cool. There have been other plays similar to this, and usually they work. The only downside is that they can only be used once. Nonetheless, it's always good to see unorthodox methods used in sports.
They're lucky it was middle school. I don't think they would have been able to pull it off in a highschool game.
I think that was smart! The defence didn't even know. I think that would make other people start doing that. Great Thinking.
Its all part of the game. The rules say once the ball is moved the play is live, the defense should have been paying attention.
I think that this sneak attack was a fantastic idea! Whatever it takes to win the game. It was a smart choice because it obviously put a little spice in the game and that is always fun to watch as a spectator. Keep on mixing it up.
What great thinking! I think thats what makes a great team.
I think that it is a smart play. the ball went past the line and none of the linemen moved but at the end when he scored he went for the chest bump and got knocked over.
Whoever created this play took advantage of the other team, which was a brilliant idea. You do what you can to make a touchdown in football and they did just that. It was a great sneak and it was following the rules... by the way St.Paul Football Rules!!!
And if the team was paying any attention they would have got them
I think that the play was B-E-A- utiful. It defintely wasnt a cheap shot. The defense should have been awake, but i give credit to the one guy who came to play.
I think that this was a pretty good play but in our football team we are suppossed to go when the ball moves once the whistle blows to start the play i think it was just a mental mistake for the other team
Carl make sure this post gets on the show. That was a smart move...one of the better plays in football. The ball was snapped, and there was no whistles, so it's legal.
I think the play was smart. I bet the other team thought he was going to ask the coach something but did not see that coming! There was no chance the other team would catch him. To smart!
I believe the QB sneak was not only an outrageously stunning play, it was a clever, witty way of thinking. I think everyone should follow the way of thinking on this!
the play was so amazing i hope when i tell my coach he will let us do it.I cant belive the reff did not blow the wistle.
I do not think it was cheap at all. It just adds to the game, and can bring a whole other level of play. It's just one team being smarter and more discipline than another. St. Paul Football Rules.
i think that qb is a genius his moves were like a hot knife through warm butter
i think the team had a good idea because the team did not know what was going on but they also got the touchdown.
I am not much of a football player but i thought that, that play was super funny and if i were a coach i would try it sometime because the defense wouldn't know what to do and when they finally figured out what was happening you would already be halfway down the field 🙂
I think it was a very creative and brave play. My class was just wondering if the play was legal. After school I went down to head football coach's office and when I showed him this video and he laughed his head off. He said it was a legal play and he would consider that play for next year's football season. Better watch other middle school football teams cause we got a backup play!
I think that it was a smart move. It wasn't breaking any of the rules and I am sure that the players got a kick out of it. But I don't know about the other teams coach.
I think that was a sneaky and smart play
I think that was so awesome but it was wierd how the defense reacted but it was so funny i nealry fell of my seat hahahahahahahaha
First of all why didnt they pull a flag and why put a point on there team. If it were me I'd make them a bench warmer the rest of the season.
dud that wuz totally thinking outside thje box!!! brains over brawn anyday!!
That is one of the coolest most non-cheap shot move ever. I think if we all try and think outside the box it can get us somewhere in life. help us explore new things.
I think it was smart thinking, I definately would not of though of that and if I did I do not think it would work. That is one smart coach!
all i have to say is wow that is GREAT THINKING by the coach trust me i would know because i play football to.
I think that that since the ball was in play, it was smart thinking. At first he looked confused but then he thought " Oh, wait I can do this!".
Whatever it takes to win the game! It was a very smart play and amazingly the team scored the point. Overall, I feel that it was Smart Thinking behind this great play.
I think the other team was confused because the whistle did't blow.
(Yes that's my real name!!!)
It was a stroke of genuis on the coach's part. However it Is a bit underhanded.
I think that they should just play the game and try their best, not try to trick the other team. It's not really fair.
I find it annoying that some people would call this an "Unsportsmanlike" Play. Ive been playing football for 10 years, and I think it was a great play. Futhermore, many pro and college football teams (Boise State anyone?) do trick plays, so its not like its something new...
sneks are some times just right
I think it was 100% fair. the only difference between this play and most other plays is the center handed the ball to the quarterback over his shoulder instead of through his legs.
I thought that it was a well executed play that was clever, not sneaky. It just proves that you always need to be on your A game and paying attention. It was a smart play that other teams will now perform....
I THINK THAT WAS AWESOME.IT WAS A SMART IDEA.IT'S REALLY FUNNY THAT NOBODY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING!
that play was amazing!! That was a very smart play to do and that was not a cheap play at all. I wish i knew that play. Very nice job the person that invented it. good job!
I think it was a good idea because it did not violate any football rules (i think) and it got the one team a touchdown!!
i think it awesome its genous a nd very signifacant
I think that this play was mostly luck. Even though it was a sweet play, who just walks right through the defense like that? Plus, that kid could have got to the QB towards the end of the play.
Yeh it was genius on the part of the coach and the quarterback to confuse them and score a touchdown.
The National High School Football Association's rules say that it it is not legal and Middle/High school football follow these rules. Texas, however, is the only state in the U.S that does not follow these rules, and that is where this play was. I thought it was rather clever and if they do not follow the NHSF rules it was legal.
I think that was a really good idea. It was fair because they said hike. It is funny how no one knew what was going on. I am suprised that a middle school would ever think of that. Score one for the team.
I think that was smart and cool.
Ididn't know you could do that.
But now I know.
I think that was really smart thinking to walk with the ball then run. The other team didn't even see it coming
that was a funny to watch!
i thought that that was a smart trick play and they cant get a flag becasuse it was a play
I thought it was a great idea. If I was in that position, I would be really pround of myself.
Yeh the element of surprise is essential in most sports
It is funny they just stand there.lol;)
i tink that was a good play because they got a point
the fake is the coooooolllllllllllllllest =) never seen one like that
i think all quarterback should do that.
that was cool I think that im going to that.
I think that coach is a genuis! If it's okay then go for it. you play football to win and be in a team. If this helps you win and be a better team, I say good job!
I think that it was a very smart move and the other team never saw it coming.
That was hilarious!!! It was so funny I showed it to my whole family!
Hahahah... that is sooo funny my class keep laughing. It was totally smart but silly to bad they lost.
i think it was a beast move
I think the other team thought that something was wrong when he started walking and was caught off guard it was a good trick 🙂
i thought it was great very sneaky and smart!! good job team and coach!
I think it was 100% fair.theres a snap and they didnt tackle him. it was a game of chance but they got it and it worked. and may I say it was AWESOME!
You really got to get mad at the head coach because that is one of the oldest plays in the book. I used to see it when i was little...er, the old "this isn't the right ball, go to the sideline, then run" trick. The team was lucky I wasn't there because i would have hit him hard.:)
I personally think that it was smart thinking because they didn't it was coming so that's why i think that was smart thinking.
I agree that it was very smart, and funny to see all the players look so confused on what to do. Nice job!! 🙂
that is cheap so funny to hes jest walking and run fast run fast he takes off
I cant exactly say if that was a cheap shot or if it was a smart move, because i don't really know what the rules of football are. Not to mention, don't you think that if he was walking by you with the ball and then he starts to run that you would try to catch him and tackle him down so that he doesn't get the score! I guess it would be different if you were actually playing the game though!
i may not be much of a football fan, but i can tell that it would have greatly confused the players when they saw him run for it when he walked past him. it was a good trick but now that it has been shown to millions there is no way anyone will be able to try it again.
I think the best part was when he walked. He had the other team thinking "what the heck is he doing!" very smart. .
Hehehe now that was a classic move! it was the best i mean just walking through the other team and then sprinting to the end zone HILARIOUS!! I could wathch that movie over and over again all day:)
I thought it was a cool trick the other team had nothing to expect.whoever had that in mind was a smart person.
It was a great play. The ball was in play. I agree with the referes.Very sneaky, way to go!
holy wakamoly! that was a crazy play!:)
The play was smart thinking and a cheap shot, but I think since the other team wasn't expecting the play it was more smart than cheap. It was crazy awesome anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's probably every football player's dream now.
I think the trick play was one of the best i've ever seen.It also shows the defense to play til the whistle. And think about now a lot of schools are going to be doing that same exact play in thier pee wee games and high school.I know for a fact that our school is going to do that play.
It was hillarious to watch. I don't see anything wrong with the play. no rules were broken. More teams should use plays like that to lighten up the game. They are always so intense and competitive.
i think it counts. that wouldve been halarious but they shouldve reacted to it. I would take the risk!
I think what they did was a smart move. I thought it was comical watching him walk by the defence without them doing a thing.
i think this was very smart of them but i bet the other team felt pretty dumb after that
I think that if it will help ypu win you should do it! As long as you do not break the rules.
I think that was verey smat and it was cool to watch! plus whoever thought of that play is the best!
I say that it could go both ways i worked that time but now other teams no what they may do and theycauld of gotten tackled but i half to say i was alsome
The best play EVER!!!!!!!!!!! i love football and this is like the best thing in football history and then he comes up to do a chest bump is falls and the other players fall it's soo funny
It was so funny seeing that i thought he was getting frustrated and just left until he took off
It was smart thinking and it was sneaky. Who ever thought of that play must have been a super genius.
That was really cool! I thought it was fair and definately sneaky and smart. The other team never saw it coming! I bet the coach was proud...and the other one was dumbfounded.
Whe nwe watched this my class went insane!! I knew what we all were think at that moment" Let's use that for flag football today" Everybody started to cheer and we got in trouble with the principal
Best play EVER! I couldn't believe it when I first watched it! And on top of that, it was a completely legal move too! AWESOME! I give them thumbs up:)
i think it was cool that the players had no clue at first then when he started to run they were still confused about the whole thing. but i think it is completely legal and smart of them to do that.
I think it was a smart move on the winning teams part. The other team, well i ca say is your supposed to be keeping your eyes on the ball not watch it get away. Over all smart move.
wow when people get confused they get confused i mean walking and then running i would never think of that! 🙂
This was an amazing play! It was very sneaky, and i loved watching it along with my class! If you ask me, this should definately make the ESPN top ten! This was just awesome!!
I think it was a smart play and I'm surprised that it really worked. They are very creative. No one ever thougt of this!
i think it was a very smart trick,
It was truely a smart play. But I think it worked because the other team wasn't very smart. Except one person who followed the ball. Anyway it was so funny!!
I thimk it was a good play because it confused the other team. Also there isn't a rule about it so it was fair. But the refs made the choice to count it and I agree with thiem.
I think that was a VERY smart and stratedic move. Well thought out and played. Kudos to the play maker! I can not wait to tell my soccer team the play and maybe we can perform it. But, soccer is different.
I think that the shot was very smart thinking. I am a football fan myself and I think the quarterback did a good job on his part, so overall I thought the play was well played!
I thought it was a good play ill ask my coach if we can try that play
I think it was a very smart thinking.. The team and coach pulled a very sneaky play..
That was the best football play I ever saw in my life, but I' ve got to say that is was a little sneaky.
I think this play is a very good trick play. I play high school football and whenever the ball is moved, that is when the play starts. The other team wasnt ready and that was their loss.
I think that if the team was smart enough to think of the play and the other team wasnt ready for it, its fair.
I think it was smart thinking.. it wasnt a cheap shot because the coach was just thinking outside of the box!!
I guess it was kinda cool
Well I believe that football all about the down home backyard contact. If you have to fake it, you must not be able to take a hit. Maybe those boys can take a hit I'm just saying I wanna see some real football.
I'm in football myself to me this was just smart thinking. Ever heard the saying"desperate time call for desperate measures"? I honestly just think they were desperate. Also what's the difference between that play and a reverse or half-back pass?
I think that anyone with that much skill and brains to think of that play in a time when they needed it to win was smart. Some people might think that it was unsportsmen like but I dont believe that team pulled that play to gloat but only to try and tie the game and obviously it worked.
it was a very smart play but it also was very risky.
It was a smart play like most said, I don't think there is anything wrong with just playing the game.
I think our high school team should've done that! Very clever!!
Way to think outside the box.
I don’t know a lot about football but my first thought was can you even do that?! Guess so! I definitely got a laugh out of it and learned something today. Great thinking.
I think that the play was actually really smart. It must of had a lot of good thinking behind it.
I thought that it was very funny. I am glad that the ref didn't call it because then it would not be on CNN and it was the most funniest football trick ever!
I think the other team thought "What is going on?" the quartback was sneaky. Good job team!
that was a very good play, usually the player heads towards the coach instead of walking up the middle, i guess people do everything different everywhere
I thought it was a fair smart well thought through play. It was a very sneaky way to get points in the game. That shows that some people will do anything to win or even tie in a game.
It was a lucky play. I'm surprised that the other team didn't catch on. I've seen many plays like this were the QB gets lit up because the other teams middle linebacker saw the trick on sportscenter the night before. It was luck and I hope they don't try it again
This was a very smart move. It caught the other team off guard, and was very sneaky.
I don't know much about football, but I thought it was pretty funny!!
I'v seen a lot of plays, but that was smart and clever! Nice play if you asked me!
This play is genius! The other team must've put up quite a fuss over that play.
i myself am a huge foot ball fan and i have never seen a play like that so give a round of a claws for the team!! yay!! yay!!
I make plays at my house like a play action pass or a wide reciever sweep, but i never made a play like that. Whoever that coach is, he might as well be inducted into the Head Coach Hall of Fame in Texas. Love the play.
That was a great play. Who'd think of doing that? Nice trick!
Amazing!! It was fair and it didn't violate the rules... all the quarterback had to do was walk right through the defense and BAM. Hilarious. I couldn't stop watching it over and over. 🙂
Cheap shot but its "thinking outside the box" almost.
I think that play should have been called off, but it was clever.
the best play ever every and the other team was like what? and moved to the side to let him to get past.
nice fake out that was awesome I would love to try that play once maybe I will
I am not a football expert, but I know that the sneak was fair and smart. If it was touched by the quarterback it's fair. You have to be carefully because they'll get it sooner or later. It was the sneakys football play...
I think it was awesome. I loved it!!! Good thinking!!!!!:)
That was so cool! I am suprised he got all the way to the end zone. The team should do that play more often.
I don't like that play at all they did not hike it and showed no sportsmanship. I know every football team has their own sneaky play like my team did when I played football but we hiked it at least.
It was also dangerous if the wuarter back would've been tackled it could've led to a dog pile or the quaterback could've been hurt.
If the play was legal, then I would have to say that it is fair. There is a difference between a trick play and a cheap shot. If this team was up by a lot, It would not be good sportsmanship. So if your team needs a win and you can do it fairly, I say go for it.
The play is good, because they did what they had to do to tie up the game. I thought that is what the game is all about, the last time I checked their is no rule about trick plays!!!! only 10% voted no good.
I think that was a smart move! I think if its not in the rules then its alright.
why wouldnt you make a trick play if it is going to trick someone else, then why not. some of those plays are beast.
Destin
i HATE football! but even i thought that was a down right spiffy move. Maybe he was just lucky...or maybe he had MAD SKILL!! Who knows?:)
I think that this sneak attack play is great! Anything it takes to get the points and win the game seems ok to me. When teams try different and excitng new plays like this one it puts spice into the game. And as a spectator that's always something that interest me. Keep on mixing it up!
The play was so great I had to show it to my family when I got home because they could not belive me.
that was really funny i thought the other team would see what he was doing, but they didn't so that's what made it funnier
I think its unfar for the other football teams that play the real football game and if the other team is cheating there way to victory.
I believe that the play was fair, and if the other team has anyone to blame, it would be themselves. It's funny how the other team parted like the red sea when they saw the guy walking through their defense. Smart move!!
It's smart and can also be very sneaky
that was one of the best plays that i had ever seen. it was smart and cleverly thought out
this is a brilliant play but odd.
November 11th. 7:34 pm
Personally I think that it all depends on how strategically you think about the rules of football.but if anyone would ask me i thought the play was pretty amazing myself!!!!!!
I think that people should play by the game. Not only people are selfish, but they are also not being truthful about a game. Games are for "FUN" not "OH WE NEED TO WIN!!"
This football play is a genius move. I bet the other team was quite mad that they didn't see it coming. If more football teams did moves like this then there would be a lot more wins than loses probably.
i love football but iv never seen a fake like that. that was cool and all the boys in my class where like wohhhh that was cool!!!!
Things like this are what sometimes what win the game so this isn't a cheap shot.
The game was fantastic that is how some people should do. Because nobody realized it. Until one person on the other team saw what was happening. The quarter back was a genius.
this move was pretty sneaky but i loved it!!! I figure that the other team was a little confused and at the end they were probably really mad!!! i would've been!!!!
I think this play is genius and a great way to end a game!
Yes! This play is legit. My high school doesn't have that great of a football team and i am almost pretty sure that if our team used this play, we would win most of our games.
i think it was a smart thinking play i wouldnt never thought of that myself if it isnt consider cheating then why not go head and do it... you know
I thought it was great! What an amazing play! Most likely the other team must of thought "What is going on, no whistle and the quarterback snapping it off?" The whole world could learn from 1 college football team and can make history! These players are good...
This play was genius. It probably wouldnt pass in high school or higher, or they probably wont fall for it because the defense act like homing missles once the ball is snapped.
I'm still not sure what exactly happened. The guy pretended to hike it to the QB and went for the end zone and the other team didn't notice that the QB didn't have the ball? I'm confused. It was an interesting play though.
I think it was a good play. The defense should have known that if the referees haven’t blown the whistle and the ball is snapped the play is still going. It sounds like a whoops on the defense’s part to me.
I think that the fake was hilarious and awesome. They didn't break any rules, so how is it be cheap shot? Great coaching and great play!
Not quite sure of the situation, but desperate times call for desparate measures. With the age of the two teams, I would say fair game. They are only kids, let them have some fun every now and then.
I have no idea why he did that but that funny little moment was something to remember, but i bet the other team wouldn't stop complaining.
I think its a great play. Its legal, so they could run it. Thats smart thinking to know thats legal.
Thisplay was realy cool but was it worth it
This play was sooooo funny. He was so confused then got the winnig
touch down thats so funny
I have seen this play before but it didnt work as well as it did this time. Last time i saw a QB sneak the QB got laid out cold but the line men but i have seen it work also i guess its just how lucky ur offenese is and what play the denfenese picks
This play was genius! My team could have really used that one!
i think this was a very smart play but now every coach is going to want to use it
Not only was the play a "trick," but it was also very intelligent. Why do teams create fake punts and other trick plays? To catch the other team off guard, which is exactly what this play was designed to do, obviously worked. Thats just great coaching!!!!
that was some smooth move! if the balll was in play, the the quarterback can do whatever he wants with it thats following the rules, even if the other team has no idea what hes doing! the rulebook doesn't say anything about walking...
Of all the football games I've seen I think that it was a really good idea and that it was very sneaky. People shouldn't be whining about a really good idea.
I think it's a very cool play. I'm a football player myself and I think its just a good play. It's hilarious but I don't think it's cheap. The defense had ample time and ability to tackle the guy, he was just clever and sneaky. It was just a really good play, simple as that.
That was smart I dont know why some people think its a cheap shot when you need points, you need points.
I think it was a good move but why did the other them just watch him. If i was them he would have put him on the ground.
🙂 🙂
i think the play was a great idea! if i was me i would of done the same thing! 😀
i think they were realy smart to do that. and if the choach donset like it he can talk to the team about it. and i play football so i think it waz genius! play so i think they should put that play in a play book for the nfl
That was a smart thinking, but I wonder if that is called cheating? I don't know much about football. But the team must've put a good fuss over nothing. I wonder what his parents have said about this? The coach must have not said that was a foul.
that was a groovy move
I think it was funny and a good sneak away.So really i think people who hate football would love to see it after this video.
I don't think it was a bad thing! I think it was funny and a good idea to get a point! It was not a cheap shot!
I thought it was brilliant!!! That was defiantly well planed!!
If both teams can do it, it's fair. That's what fair is. Deal with it babies.
i love how quater backs sneek just like this i watched this play a million times. IT IS THE BEST!!!!!!!
it could have been both it depends how you look at the play
I think that if a football game is going rough,a team should be able to do anything it can to win the game. That's what footbal is about.
I think that if a football game is going rough,a team should be able to do anything it can to win the game. That's what football is about.
Ithink it was cool.I don't wacth foot ball, but it was seriously wiked.
its great because the defense doesnt know its coming
thats a good play but it was very smart
that is so freakin easy to cacth maybe greer high should start doing that instead of trying to take it all
That Was BRILLIANT! What The Defense didn't see that the center legally snapped it so it was fair game. A Better version is walking to the sideline yelling "COACH! WE HAVE THE WRONG BALL!" Then Sprinting down the sideline!
I think this was the smartest thing ever!
That was todaly a cheap shot that could never happen lol 🙂
i think it was a cheap shot because the defence thought the QB was giving th ref the ball
I think that they were really lucky they pulled it of. I thought it was amazing and very smart thinking to have thought of that.
I think it was awesome nobody seen it coming and thats what made it such a good play
It was pretty cool but not necessary
I think the play was fair. It was sneaky until the defensive player saw the trick. You should get credit for making a SNEAKY play.
I think that was a smart play or the defence are stupid. I think the defence thought the offence called timeout. So thats why it was a smart play
He has a mind over what he is doing, and he might have had it PLANNED! HE IS SMART AND CREATIVE!!!!!!!!!
i think it was a smart move. I like football myself.
that play was smart thinking i dont think it unfair. its shows how the other team should pay attention.
I have cousins who play football for fun,, but know most the rules and they say that that move was smart thinking.
People say it is smart. I did not see the original thing, but i think this is smart, sneaky and genius as other people say. Just awesome. (by the way, I'm a girl)
People says it is just luck, it takes a sneaky man to do that sort of thing. It was pure genius.
I think that was a pretty smart move no one would expect them to just go strolling across the feild and by the time they realized he was alredy a third of the way there
I wish my team could think of somthing that sneaky!
I think that play was so funny because everybody on the other team was so confused. My whole class started to laugh. It was so funny!
I think that was a smart move, the other team didn't know what they were doing do they just watched the quarterback walk by.
I think it was a good move to play to win but probly could of acted a liitle more siprisd
I think that it was a good thing to do so they can win and, so they wernt tid up
I'm not much of a football person, but i think that move was funny, and I would have praised whoever came up with it! It shows how quick thinking can pay off in sports.
i think it was a smart move because (1. he tied the game, (2. he acted dumb, and finally (3. he played it out.
This was a smart choice by the coach. You got to do what you got to do!And the offense did it!
Part of football is out smarting your opponent and that is exactly what they did!Smart thinking!
i believe that the quarterback did a good job in football the object of the game is do what ever you can to win and im pretty sure that fake made the game a lot more interesting for every one and he deserves around of applause good job
I thought the move was VERY original..
I would say that that was smart thinking. Also it was hilarious. That was a very creative play, also a good way to score points! That team deserved to get a point.
I think that what they did was all luck its not everyday you see a play like that. I give them tons of credit for it but it's something that they got away with once and never again will be able to attempt. The other opponent should've been more aware of the situation.
I think it waas just smart thinking. It was a pretty good move.
I was cracking up the first time I saw that play. That was huge! Smart thinking, definatly. I dont know alot about football, but still- thats just beawesome that that worked
I think that it was a very smart idea, and I think it was good that the coach actually knew the rules that well to be able to tell his players to run it. The play is also a one time play that no one will ever be able to run again.
People say that you have to play fair. but did'nt say anything about being sneaky careful what you fall for it might turn around and get you back.
he was probably planned it a long time and then used it when he needed more
I don't know how someone comes up with a play like that, but it was a smashing and hilarious play.
I think it was a smart move. My friends and I were cracking up about it during and after class. I wonder how the coach thought up that "smart" move!
I thought that was a good move because if it were in the last 30 seconds of the game and you were down by 2 if you do that you win
I think that play was awsome and smart! I give perks to the guy who made that one up. My favorite part was when the other team just stood there clueless and let the guy walk past.
I think it was smart thinking because if it works and you can do it, it"s good
I love'd it! It may not have seemed fair to the other team or their coach, but it truely kept me laughing for hours!! Gooo Saints!
its the memory that they will have will be unforgetable.i think if thay tryed to do it agian everyone will know so it was a one hit wonder!
When I saw this I laughed sooooo hard, Because that is exacty what i do when we play family football! SUCH A GENIOUS!!!
i think it was a brilliant play. As long as it gets to the quarterback it"s technically not a foul play.
that was a good shot it was so funny that was the best ever
I thought it was hilarious, good thinking.
i think the qb sneek was really cool and legal because the object of the game is to score points and if you have to trick the other team then do it if it is legal.
That was a smart move he made! And toddly funny too! And pluse its an legle ^_^
i think it was cool, and i think that it was a smart move they should count that in.
i think that it was funny. next time they sould make it better
I think it was fair, honestly I think it's pretty sneaky of that guy to do that. Its a smart way to win and its totally fair. But, on the other hand it was a cheap shot because the defense thought the QB was giving the ref the ball haha.
i thought the sneek was legal because the object of the game is to score points then do it however you have to without being illegal.
I'm sure it was ok because unless specified in the rule book, they can't say anything against it. It's not called a trick play because it's fair.
i thoght that play was amazing nice thinking and congradulations guys.
I think that was a very good move on the teams part. In a game you try things to see if they work and if they don't you can either try and make it work or forget about it and make a new play. i have to say that was one of the smartest move i've seen. i like it.
This move the quarterback made is the start of a new kind of football
I think it was a smart move and I think that could some day be a legendary move in football. It would be cool if I could do that.
This was very tricky. I thought it was cleverly planned. I feel bad for the other team because if that was me i would feel ripped off. I dont think that they should be able to do this though because it changes how you play the game of football.
I think that they were really smart to try that, but I don't think that it wouls work more than once.
Although it may not be all that fair because people wont realize whats happening. I feel like its alright for teams to do this because the rules allow them to if its not a fair play then the rules should be changed for a reason, but these plays were completely fair.
I thought that it was a little cheap but I voted for smart thinking because it was smart thinking they went in like a regular lay and then booked it which is the best play I have ever seen.
This play was epic they sold it to the other team just right. By the time they noticed it was too late.
It was smart thinking with a bit o' luck. Try it again and BAM I can't wait for the YouTube follow-up video when someone trys that again and gets run over.
someone tryed the same move yesterday and it was called out. i this it was a cheep shot 😉
Pulling a fake is just another part of the game. Your goal is to not let the other team know what you doing, and not being able to fake them out is just like letting them know what your doing.
If they planned it, genius. If they didn't, they got lucky. Either way, that was awesome to see.
I think it was a smart move because no one was expecting it
This play was smart, clever, and strategic. If the other team would have thought of it, they wouldn't be complaining.
I think its fair cause well it was during the game and that that was a smart thinking. I laughed my butt off when i saw it.Cause i had never seen any one do that. and well now that its out to the world every one knows so you probably wont be able to pull that out on anyone else.haaha but good job.=D
that was really smart tying that move out. It was cool. I think i will tell my football coach and try that TRICK!!!
I thought that play was very cool and very fair. The defense saw exactly what they were doing and they weren't supposed to expect what he was going to do, that's the whole point of the game, to be ready for anything. The coach that came up with this is a genius and they should use those types of plays more often.
all i know is that its a great play and Brett Farve definetly can't pull that play off
i think he did a really smart move
I think it was a cheap shot. Football is all about pride for your school. If you did this your school would probably be called cheaters. That makes your school lose pride
That was the smartest thing ever! When someone does a trick play like that the other team forgets the main rule in football: If the ref doesn't blow the wistle the play is LIVE and you should tackle him.
I think this play was AWESOME! It was totaly leagal and the other team fell for the play. That was one of the sweetest plays I ever saw. The only thing I am worried about is that the school may loose there reputation and be called cheaters, even though the play was leagal.
For reference, this type of play is forbidden in high school, college and the NFL by rule (unsportsmanlike conduct).
whe ever made this play was a pure genuis! Just because they choose not to move if someone is moving with the ball does not mean they should not have been paying attention. After all the number one rule of football is to never take your eye off the ball.
What a smart idea!...this play is awesome..it's not the quarterbacks fault if the other team was confused about what he was doing...all I can say is nice job Brett Farve
I thinck that was some smart thincking if i played football i would of did that
I was there and it was AWSOME!!!!! I think it is amazing that someone thought of this.
I don't watch much football, because we don't watch TV, but I think it's a sneaky move that nobody has ever seen beforehand. I wouldn't be suprised if that quarterback was accepted into the NFL for that sly move.
I can't believe it! But it's got to be a fair play. Man, maybe I should join football. Then maybe I could copy him! Let's see it in reverse!
that was the best play ever i solute the guy who came up with that play it was awesome!
that was a awesome play never saw something like that!!!
They should use this play in the NFL Best Play Evar not a cheap shot
The play was smart.Maybe the vikings could use that play to win a game
I think that was a smart move. I mean really it makes everyone confused in the other team so you have at least 5 seconds to do something like run then score. That's what I think.
It was an awsome play! Maybe the New Orleans Saints can use that to win the superbowl AGAIN!
that was a cool sneaky move......
That was like the most coolest idea EVER!!! I think all the quaterbacks should make a smart/sneaky move once in a while. LOL! Nice job that quaterback i dont know........... lol
Was the play legit? If so what's the rule on hiking the ball?
That was some good action watching that video it was cool seeing him do that and funny
The quarter back sneak was very funny
I think that was a NICE play to me. Any quarterback in college that does that will be drafted to the NFL and go to the Philadelphia Eagles team to go to the superbowl.
I think that quarterback was awesome
i think that play was cheep it should be a foul and the player that did that play should be out of football and i love your show
THAT WAS A SMART IDEA! I've never seen anything like that! Ha ha i had to watch it twice to understand what happened. I want their coach to come and coach our football team.
hahahahahaha very funny lol 😉 that was a cheap shot.
I thought the video is very funny. I dont't think I could ever be as smart to do that. =D
♥I think that playing process was very excellent because nobody knew about so might as well sneek it on the other team.. I would soo show the football team....♥
That was a smart move!....I have never seen any thing like that before!!All I can say is that was a smart move and good job team... you work well together.
I think that was smart thing because the other team would have never guested that they were doing a brilliant trick like that!
That move was the best fake i have seen. If only it was Texas vs. Alabama, and Texas would win. But I thought it was funny when the other team noticed it when the guy was halfway down the field!!!!!!:p
i think that was an amzing play! i am an georgia fan, but i would go for any team that would do that play! go dawgs! 🙂
it was a really funny play they outsmarted the other team. even though they won it does not matter they shouldnt of done that they kind of cheated in a way .
the play was very funny ... but wasnt right they shouldnt of done that
Clever Move! Also very funny. They were very creative!
Dear cnn I think when you showed us the foot ball thin I liked it. It was very very cool. I have to try that sometime BECAUSE I play football every day when I get home from school
I think that was a good play because they got a touchdown.
I'm going to do that when I play football.
My brother thank it was a bad idea.
I said u are a dummy.
Nice thanking
funny play
That guy got a good start if I Was his coach and If I see that I will pretend I didn't because he was really sneaky nice job. for your next game you should do it again. p.s. good luck
Yaritzi
i think that was a good trick i wish it was my home team that did that
coool
This coach was very smart! the other team didnt even see it coming! It was literally a walk in the park! 😀 Thats not as cheesey as some of the puns as what Carl usally says! Sorry if it offends him in any way!
😛
It was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT MOVE GUYS!!!!!! It was not a bad move!!!!
That was really cool. Hey, just be glad it worked.
i think that this was a very smart play
That wasn't a cheap shot quite crying maybe they should have been prepared for it. :)))))))
this was very smart because they got a TOCHDOWN from that trick play!! It was AWESOME!
That trick was really clever but I've thought of football of more physical skills, not as much intellectual skills.
i like football but idont lik b ing smashed
well when the teennanger boy did that sneak, it was funny and also the other team just stared at him while he was passing by with the football. and when he passed by, finnally one of the other team stop staring and began to run and try to touch him. so the boy ran with the football and so he fell, but its okay because at lease he was closed to the goal, and he did that plan.
That was a great idea! I mean who would have thought that they would think it was still going. That was also some skill on acting to actually make it look like there was a pause. Thank you for reading my commit!
I thougt that was so funny but, it was also short but worth it that guy was like "just give me the ball ". and literaly walked across the feild and then ran that was really funny.
I thought that it was so cool and the football players dident even now what the guy was dowing thats retortid made from bigdog.
This play was totally lucky and a cheap shot!!!
It was a totally awesome sneak! They got a touchdown! The other team should have been prepared. Way To Go!!!!!!!!
It was super amazing scince I used to play football I will tell my old team to use it
it wasgreat
It was a pretty cool play and it was super smart of the coach.
He was very smart to do that it takes a lot of brains to do that
i think it would be cool if i could have or see a coach as good as him and the way that he coached and is staterges and like ya
I thought it was really cool that they did this!
That was one smart move. Way more intelligent than sneaky.
that is not real football and to practice that and put it in the playbook WOW
I thought it was a good smart move it was awsome i didnt think it was cheap the other team could have done the same when they got the oppurtunity i thought it was sneaky but good
That was a sick move. He was just walking casually, until he passed the line of scrimmage, when he started to run like mad!
He can score yet his side bump knocks him over
His side bump at the end was epic
Its also totally legal Just no one in the nfl has the guts to try.
i love the quarterback sneak. i think the chargers should use it more often. it is a football move that has gone under the radar but in key 3rd or 4th and short it might be pretty dependable.
It was the best sneak in football iv ever seen.
I think that it is fair if it is in the rule book. I also think football is all fair in love and war.
Man if I was on the defensive side, I wouldn't have let that happen without a fight. The other team would have to be really desperate to use a cheap play. And then they went to the championship game and lost? That's not even worth it.
that trick shot was very smart...nothing cheap in football they scored a touchdown thats all that matters!!!!
No question about it, a cheap shot. As you can plainly see in the video, the defence was looking around to see if the coaches or referees called something. That souldnt be allowed.
it was a very good play because the defense was not ready for the sneak
Woa that was one smart and creepy move. Only he should have walked the whole time.
one of the best moves ive ever sean. as I always say fight fire with fire.
🙂
i think thats smart and funny
I think the play was very smart it fulled the defense and thats all u need. I think it shouldn't be a cheap play because he still ran the ball but in still a sneaky motion.
I think it would be fair. I mean it is legal so it should be okay. like they just did a play and it was like a regular play. It might be a little cheap but it was smart.
i think that was amazingly smart
i think its a good play and you should e aloud to do it. We should be able to do it and the defense should just have to deal with it. I love this play.
It takes a lot of skill to make it look like you don't have the ball and pretty funny he never got caught. TILL THE END.
smart, but risky.
just watch him pass right by you
this was a smart thing to do but if he was moving so slow it should be pretty easy to stop him. so you cant say he cheated.
it was very smart thinking he saw an opportunity & he took it its not like he was cheating or anything
I think it is a pretty smart move.
I think that he was just being smart.....totally awesome! More teams should use this =)
I believe this was a very smart move. It's definently against the rules so why not try. they got a touchdown and probably won the game. If i was a coach I would do the exact same thing.
THAT WAS AWESOME!
You have to be very creative to come up with that move.
That move was completely fair. The other team was just confused, and was stupid for falling for the trick. It is completely legal, but even if they kept it legal, people know about it now. Coaching tricks should become illegal though.
That was a great move! Football is about focus, strategy, and strength. If the other team wasn't smart enough to pay attention, that's their fault for not really playing football!!!
I don't think that move was an issue it was sneaky though
that was a nice move my brother tried that before but he got tackled the next time he got the football.
I think that it really awesome
I think the play was smart but cheap. The other guys didn't have a chance. They thought he was telling the truth.
Smart thinking! The other team may think it is a cheap shot because no one wants to lose!
wow! that was awesome only if the michigan wolverines could do that!
i think it was a smart trick. I tried doing that in p.e., it was funny.
i thought that was a smart move but yet again think of how fair it is... its not because think of the people playing in the game then this quarterback just walks right past them and gets a touchdown???????????????????????
I think that the play was good. The play followed the rules and nothing illegal was done. The offense did not make a bad play, the defense did something stupid on their part.
i think that was a dirty play and that the coaches who practiced it are desperate for winning to do that kind of play it was not necessary they must of been really really desperate to call it . but with like the fake punts and things like that then yes those are clean plays but what this team did wasn't needed
I think that was very smart especially for a middle school team.
I think it was really smart because obviously nobody would be expecting it, and it is really halarious because they beleived the trick.
I think it was fair the sneek worket and the other team fell for it so it was fair
This was a relly cool move very smart
The other team could have easily realized what was going on and done something about it. They chose not to, and I think that's their own fault not the team with the smart play.
I thought the play was very sneaky and that the quarterback has good self control to be able to calmly walk by the other teams whole defensive line and make a successful play.
That was the smartest thing I've ever seen. When I first saw it, I thought they'd called a timeout, but then when I heard that the play was live I couldn't believe it was legal. That quarterback was so calm about it. That's why I think it worked.
It was the coolest play ever I think it should be in the play books. The other team should have bee prepared.
It was the coolest play ever i think it should be in the play books. The other team should have bee prepared.
i think it was smart thinking but also they had to of gotten very lucky hey i might just tell my coach to add it to the play book!
I thought it was pretty funny. I could see the other team thinking it was a cheap shot because it was pretty different and unexpected. But, I liked it. 🙂
That was a smart move, but is that offsides?
All i can say after seeing that is laugh out loud alot of time and for many minutes
I think it was the best move ever.
cheeeaaappppp shoooooottttttttt
I thought it was a vary clever thing to do, i didn't think that it was aloud.
what I think it is smart because what you said about the couch made the plan that was so smart know that what I call Cnn cool news
I thought it was funny but it was smart too 😀
I think it was a good and a bad move, because the good part is that you can get the team more points, and the bad part is that you could get caught and that is like cheating so that is bad, if i had to choose to do the good or bad, it's good because i would always want to do the right thing when it comes to sports. 🙂
I also thought that was funny and a smart move..
that was a smart move!!! i think the green bay packers should use that move!!!!
GO GREEN BAY PACKER!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
IT WAS PRETTY GOOD THINKEN!!!! A MOVE FOR THE NFL!!!! THAT WOULD BE THE SIGHT TO SEE ON FOOTBALL SUNDAY!!!!!
GO GREEN BAY PACKERS!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
someone is usen there brain there!!!!!!!! collage football the right move for ohio state!
That was a cheep shot. I watch tons of football and there coach should of told the defense to sack him!
The person who thought of that is so smart why are hey working for a football team? Well I think it was the best play in the history of high school football.
i think it was a good idea but it might not be so fair the other players might have thought someone was hurt or something like that..
I'm surprised they acually thought of that sneaky runnaway. I believe it's acually very smart thinking. But not fair to the other team.
