Lessons Learned?
Six months to the day after the worst oil spill in American history, we're looking at all of the wildlife that has been rescued - and all of the work ahead of cleaning crews as they fight the pollution.
The spill is one of the most significant events of 2010. What do you think can be learned from it?

I think we can study the animals and see how they survied and we need to learn how to keep the oil spills from happening but until then we just need to keep finding clues and watching plants and animals underwater to see what happend
I think that this oil spill can be a good learning experience about knowing if your equiptment is working at all times
We have learned ways to prevent oil spills.Therefore ways to clean the oil . So we actually moved forward in oil spill knowledge .
I think that is true, we need to study the animals that we t thru this horible tragic thing & see how they survived. We need to study in what lived , what died, how they died/lived & where they where. It is vert important to figure out how our animals live..
I think that we need to do alot of investagashions especially on the animals to make sure they were not harmed in any way.....
I think we learned alot from the oil spill.It shows how to protect the animals.And how to provent another oil spill.They been more careful on what they did.
I think we need to study the animals that went thru his tragic thing & study what lived, why it lived & how it lived. We also need to study what died, how it dies & why it died. We need to study on which underwater plants died if they did & how they died as well.
I think that we should look or study the animals and plants that were effected by the the oil spill because if another oil spill does happen then we could find a cur o a type of medicine for the animals to help them or save them
I think that the oil spilled destroyed half of our nations wildlife which is the ocean. I think that they should clean the oil as fast as possible because people eat food that's seafood. So without seafood companies that sells food with loose a lot of money because they can't sell seafood thats contaminated.
I think that the oil spill is dangerous for the ocean life. They should do something more about it like cleaning up an they should make ire all the fish are okay ad safe same with the land.!

I think we can learn that offshore drilling is a very dangerous business. It can have a huge effect on the environment and all the people involved. We can't forget that it CAN happen again and we need to take precautions so we don't have to go through this tragic event again.
I think the oil spill is really a eye opener for the u.s. I believe we should do all we can to keep this from happening again

I think the oil spill shouldn't had happened unless they had been more carefull of what they were doing.
I think that people now understand the worst possibilities of any large transportation. It seems like a restatement of the Exxon Valdez oil spill, but since last time, we didn't really get the repercussions of the spill, this time, we really did understand.
We hopefully learned that we need to balance the need for oil with the reality that it may hurt our wildlife. What is more important to us, oil, or our animals?
We all can learn from this!!! FIRST: We now know (or SHOULD’VE) that oil is not something to mess with. SECOND: Life is more precious than it looks. An entire ecosystem has been ruined and destroyed by this oil spill. We all need to stop looking just for ourselves and keep the whole world in our conscience. I think what I learned is that a lot of people have a lot of care toward a lot of living animals.
I think the lesson learned is that although were 99% sure everything is safe and secure, BP needs to realize that that one perecnt of unsureness, can happen in a split second right before their eyes. A long time before the oil spill, I think they needed a back- up plan just in case and I think they could have cleaned it up quicker.
i think that we have all learned that we need to be more careful about drilling into things near water. that could end up being all bad.
Even though many wild life creatures were hurt, I believe this was a mistake we can learn from. We can prevent this from happening again, but in the mean time we have to worry about cleaning up for the animals sake.
I think that it really hurt our country when this thing happend two the united states i really think since it happend i think think it is going to bost our econamy lower so that will help our united states!!!
I cant believe of all the animals that were in that oil spill i feel so sorry for them all. Im glad they cleaned it up thank goodness. 🙂

I think we've learned the dangers of off shore drilling and we should take more safety precautions before we start drilling again.
The lessons that can be learned from this can be to use less fuel. The less fuel we use can effect the pollution rates in a good way.

I don't think that the lesson will be learned until BP and other oil company's release to the public that they have made changes that will revolutionize the oil industry.
its a good lesson not to put oil rigs ther in the water but they do it for money and just because thats were you can get alot of oil from under water i dont like how the people are acting about the spill pray to god that all the oil is cleand up from the water.
If anyone is to learn about this disaster, it is B.P. The economy was already bad before the spill, and i don't think that event helped it at all. Just thinking about all the innocent animals that died from something that could have been advoided easily wants to make me cry

I think the lesson learned is that oil drilling has many risks... Maybe too many. We need to develop another effecient energy source that is more eco-friendly. Oil spills have harmed and killed many animals in the past and put others in danger.

I think me and others learned from it that, we need to be more careful drilling oil because if we make one mistake it will effect our enviroment and the animals that live in it, but not just drilling oil, just making plain mistakes in life.
Well you would think the workers would know what they were doing so they can practice drills to make sure it doesn't happen again.
You can't always trust other companies, such as the British Petroleum. Some companies are headed only for money, expecially in this recession. I'm not saying BP is an "advertisement," but you have to be aware that everybody makes mistakes.
I think it taught us how dangerous oil can be and how it harms the environment. It teaches us all a very valuable lesson that we'll never, ever forget.
I think that much can be learned from this. If this happens again, we might see some extinctions in marine life and that may break our food chain. Even the smallest animals affected from it can change species drastically.
I think that from the oil spill, we can learn that we need to take many, many precautions. We killed and harmed many living creatures because of our want for oil. It is not right to put animals in danger to get oil. We need to make sure that we inspect and test our machines very carefully to make sure nothing like that happens again.
What can be learned is that all of these life killing things should really be payed attention to.
I think that the main thing we can learn from this event is that we have to be way more careful when handling oil in the ocean. I also think that we should find a much safer way to transport oil onto boats to ensure that this doesn't happen again.
There is a lot to learn about the oil spill that hurt a lot of animals and people as well.One of the things that we all probably learned is to take precaution and make sure everything the goverment is doing is safe for everyone including the workers.I thing that this oil spill could have been prevented.
I think we can learn that if something goes wrong, wether it involves the whole country or just one state we can all pitch in to help. This is what we did for the oild spill and look where we are now.
I think that they are going to work on making the boats more efficient so they are most likely to not spill oil. Hopefully the changes will be made.
Looking at that incident i see that life has been a issue. i hope we have less earthquakes with the big chile earthquake!! i hope that we have no more oil rigs either!

I think that we can learn to start useing other energys other than oil. But ultimatley it is not what we can learn, it is if we can learn
I think the oil spill is a good lesson, because it teaches us that the ocean is no place to drill for oil. We already have enough in Alaska, and if we drilled on land, it would be way easier to cap. Also easier to clean. If Alaska ran out of oil, by then we will most likely have a different source of energy.
I would have to say, although it has caused lots of destruction to the gulf, it has brought to the world's attention again that the earth is in a huge state of disrepair. We need to build smarter rigs for the time being, and eventually become independent of oil, foreign or not. If this disaster doesn't motivate people to clean the earth, I don't know what will.
I think we can learn from this tradegy that you have to be careful when oil is being traded by boat because it can affect and harm the enviroment of the animals drastically.

this oil spill taught many people how water pollution can be vile to sea creatures and people.we can also learn from the spill that water pollution can turn into a big crisis.

I think we can learn that using common sense is a tool needed before drilling into the ocean for oil. This gives us a chance to look at how dependent we have come to something, so much that we dont even use our common sense before we do something that could harm people,animals, and the environment.
I think that even with today's technology , we still have to be careful about are work. Its like the way i do home work, i don't double check my work
Lesson learned should be that we need to keep oil rigs under more intense regulations

we have learned that having bp drill in the oceans is not a good idea because it was obvious that they and we were not ready for this level of this kind of an oil spill. so what we need to do is to make sure that before we start to drill in any sector of the world that we actually know what to do is to prepare fully and have the right equipment if this ever happens again

I think we've learned about the dangers of oil spills. now we are also more prepared for an oil spill

1. If you are going to do offshore drilling atleast have parts that work
2. How much I really love seafood and how I could not get any
3. How an oil spill can affect buisnesses all over the world not just the fishermen

The lesson learned is, well it's going to take a lot of work. The only thing is finding the people who are willing, to volunteer to to do this.
i think they learned to be careful next time because now they know the cost of it,6 months of it and then it finally stops but then all the cost of cleaning it up and all the animals life.

I know I learned that if a big group of people want to clean the seas all around the world that they can do it. Also how it not only affect the fishermen but everyone all over the world.

The lesson will never be learned, as long as the oil companys make the big bucks, they wont care. It is very important that we teach the new generation of kids how to respect the wildlife and teach them how to prevent disasters like this
We all need to take care of the earth. Its were we live and in our future the world may be a very polluted place. We don't want that so we all need to take a stand and take better care of our environment.
Ithink should put oil rigs in the ocean so we dont polute any more water and kill more animals.

I think it will teach us to be more careful in the future. Our efforts in cleaning up the oil and rescuing animals has been terrific, but there is much to be done. This will teach us that things like the oil spill can happen in life and that we should be sure we know how to prevent it.

I think that we need to learn how to be more careful with oilrigs and find better ways to find the energy we need so we don’t hurt the environment. We also need to have stricter laws over oilrigs and we have to put the people responsible for the accident to trial.
I think that there was and is a lot to be learned with the oil spill. Not only have we learned how to deal with such a tragedy, but how our nation comes together in times of need. The big oil companies are going to have be much more careful now with everything they do. Not only because they don't want history to repeat itself, but also that everyone's eyes will be on them for awhile.
I think the main concern that could be thought of the most, is drilling for oil in the ocean! Hopefully, this teaches some of the other oil drilling companies that the same thing could happen to them.
I think we can learn a lot of things from this oil spill. It shows we need more strict guidelines on deep-sea drilling. It also gives another positive example of how good things happen when Americans come together to solve a problem. Another thing we learned is how to deal with a massive oil spill. Now that we know what to do to cap something like this, if it ever comes up again, we'll be prepared. Even though many bad things came of the spill at first, we learned a lot of valuable lessons in the end.

I think that we can learn a lot from this we can learn a lot from this. We shouldn’t be drilling for oil in the ocean. But I am glad that everything turned out great and nothing bad happened.
I think that we could learn to test the equipment before we put it to work. It would also be a good idea to change out the parts (if possible) so they do not break so often or just buy a new part.

In answering this question, we usually focus on what we can learn so as not to repeat our mistake. But we can also learn from what we did right. Many, many people, young and old were very shaken, and everyone wanted to help so badly, and many did. So what we can learn from the oil spill is that we really do care about our planet and about all life.
What can be learned is to make sure everything works and won't break and cause another oil spill as bad or worse than this one.
An important lesson we have to learn is that we can never take nature for granted. The oil spill has affected many people's lives because they had to stop work and clean it up.
I think a number of things could be learned. First, we should have people thinking and testing different ways to contain oil more effectively. Second, I think the government should create stricter guidelines on how to keep an oil rig safe.

The Earth is being ruined by us humans. The oil spill is a great lesson for us to learn that the Earth needs our help to stay healthy.
I learned that the oil spill can kill a-lot of creatures, and its heart breaking that the animals have to sufer things that we did. Even my mom cried cause we saw a pelican that was covered in oil, it was very sad.

Something that can be leanerd from the 2010 oil spill is that if there is another one we will know what to do. Another thing is that we learned how to work together.

Here are the things that I think they have learned from this experience. I think they learned that the wild life is important to the fishing industry. Yes, it does kill other animals but it can hurt the population of the fishing industry. I think they learned that the oil pollution is bad if it spreads to far. I think they would be prepared if the oil spill were to happen again. They learned that it is a good thing to fight the pollution for animals and for the land. That is what I think they have learned from this experience.
I believe that we always need to make sure that the machine, the one that caused the problem is in very good condition and won't make anything worse, because I know that machines break down from time to time.

what i think we can learn from it is, that cleaning up the oil and helping the beaches to get rid of the oil we can have or save one more animal just by helping picking up garbage. Last we learned that oil can do much damage, and oil is very dangorus to be around.

From the oil spills happening I learned that the oil spill damaged acres and acres of land. They are still recovering today trying to get oil off the beaches, and in the water and even on the street. I think it affected the way people were confortable living there. I feel bad about it and if I could do something about it I would.

2. We know that things have to be delt with quicker than we did with this. It seemed like a long time that the oil just keeped spilling out.
I think that this oil spill will teach Americans and people all over the world that it is not right or safe to be takeing up parts of the ocean to get oil, many animals were and it causes people a whole lot of stress. Maybe this will push scientist even harder to find a gasoline substitution.
At least alot of the oil in the gulf is gone. But know the oil is in the wetlands.
I think people can learn from BPs mistake. Because they didn't have a plan for a fire. They sould of had a plan for a fire.
What we learned was that we should be more care full and we should check the caps on the oil every now and then. I am so glade this is starting to get better.

What I think that can be learned from this horrible event, is basically not to do it again, even though it could have been a lot worse, we shouldn't be thinking of just ourselves, but the sea mammals that have the oceans as their habitats.
One of the reasons this happened is BP was not monitoring the "Blowout Preventer." One can learn to always check your work so this kind of stuff doesn't happen.
I think we should just get rid of all the offshore oil rigs out of the Gulf.

We need to make double-checks on the oil reef next time we bring oil to different states/countries. At least twice day. Also make more machines that cleaned the oil spill. That might prevent it next time that happens.
I learned that you dont know what you have until it gone or in this case a diaster.
People should make sure that all pipelines for oil have no holes, cracks, or loose bolts that hold the pipes together

I think it is great that they are working so hard to fix the mess that they started 6 months ago, they are making great progress! I'm hoping that they have learned from the mistakes that they made and that this won't happen again.

I am hope BP and other oil companies have learned from this tragic event. I am so glad and thankful to all of the people that have helped to clean this mess up. I love seeing the progress that we have made. I think everyone that is in the oil industry is taking more precaution than ever. It is a happy thing to watch the Gulf being cleaned and well taken care of now.
I hope they have learned their lesson and improve deep ocean oiling. I don't want all those wild animals to die to not teach us humans a lesson.
I think they should keep drilling
There are many things we can learn as oil consumers. The first would be that we should be changing how we look at oil. we should start looking at oil like an endangered energy source. We should also clicked into our minds that we should be looking for more reusable energy resources, and how to improve solar panels and wind turbines. We should not rely fully on oil, it will not be here forever.

The lesson many people will learn is we have to be more careful out there. But i bet BP will just keep drilling. to a lot of companies out there money is all that matters...... they need to learn that no matter how small, everything matters. even the animals that got hurt. when will they learn money can't bring back habitats.
we have all learned different leasons form the bp oil spill. some people learned the harm that we (as humans) can do to the wildlife, while others learned to potential threat it gave to humans in food consumtion and enviroment. we can also take out of this, that some mistakes we make are going to be to big to completly clean up.

I think that fixing the well was one part of the job. I know that it was a big part, but we still have to clean up this mess BP made for people down south. So many animals have been affected by the oil spill. They should learn that all the animals should be protected and prepare better. I have a dog named Botey and I wouldn't want her getting affected by the oil spill if i lived on the gulf.

I think that we obviously learned that pollution is BAD. If we hadn't stopped the oil spill, it couldve gotten worse. It couldve eventually been unstoppable. Then we would live the rest of our lives with ugly oceans, not beautiful like they should be. Not to mention the fact that there would probably be close to no animals in the ocean. We are lucky we saved the ones we did. We also learned that if we arent careful one thing can lead to another. We were polluting, without knowing how bad it was. Then the oil spill got into the ocean... This affected alot of things such as animals, plant life, and actually if you think about it our lives. We will definately be careful next time 🙂
I think it is a great thing that they worked so hard to get the oil to stop coming out, and to clean all of the lucky animals caught to be cleaned and to recover. What a mess it was six months ago.

Im just glad most of the oil has been boomed or dispersed. Now we need to focus on the wetlands and miles of beaches that still have oil scattered on them.
I think we have learned that no one is perfect but that if we don't want everything and everyone to die we have to try harder. We can not keep slacking off and not trying to fix the problems. We wouldn't have had that problem if it wasn't for a cap coming off, so they need to try harder.

What can we learn from the Gulf oil spill, well first off we can learn to be more cautious when drilling underwater. I think that we learned to make sure that blowout preventers are in prefect working order. I also think that we learned to be a little more cautious when drilling because there were a lot animals affected by the spill. All in all I think that we learned quite a bit from the spill, but I’m not saying that it wont happen again.

What i think can be learned from it is that we human are greedy since everyday we take gallons of oil from the earth and we are accountable for what we have done.

Thank goodness that most of the fish in the sea are cured and the ocean is now oil free. But it's all thanks to the vets for treating them with such good care to the sea animals. 6 months pass by and now most of the sea animals are back in good shape.

Foremost, most of us Americans can walk away with some expereince, awareness, and competence about environmental disasters and the long term repercussions of offshore drilling. We can also take away how imperative is to take safety precautions and not “cut corners” on the job. Unfortunatly it cost the life of 11 men because of a failed blowout preventer steming from an incomplete and hazardous job on the support of the oil rig between the reserve and the piping. It also is an incentive to turn towards green energy, something more ecologically and environmentally friendly and is cleaner, cheaper, and less dangerous to harness. So in retrospect, alot of additional measures could have been done to prevent this disaster, and as well as in the future. We’ve learned of the many dangers of deep-sea drilling and how important safety precautions are in ensuring the safety of others.
I feel the wildlife was heavily impacted from the Gulf of Mexico's spill. BP may have not been responsible, maybe no one was. The lesson from the spill is that you should be careful of your surroundings. The cause of the rig's explosion was unknown. It could have been a torpedo or an overheated engine. The crew members need to be aware of what's going on next time so they don't have another exploded rig. That is one too many rigs lost.
They should always have a fast acting back up plan so that only a few gallons leak and less wildlife will be hurt and less clean up. The animals depend on us to keep what we have built from contaminating their homes and their health.

I think that we have learned that if many people work together in the worst crisis it can bring together a nation. It can also make a big difference

There is a lot to be learned about the oil spill. All the damages it caused and all the money it cost should be a huge red flag to enforce more strict regulations on oil drills. We can't just wipe away this event because, like the oil itself, its smeared and a part of our history. And in order for it to not happen again, we have to take steps now towards prevention, instead of letting it go right back to the way it was.

I see the gulf oil spill of 2010 as a reminder to humankind that the system in which we put oil to use is not necessarily without flaw. It shows us that the sooner we find an alternative fuel source, the better.

We have learned that offshore drilling is a very dangerous business and that if something goes wrong like which it did; it has a major effect on the environment and the animals. In an addition of 60 minutes the cause of the spill was directed towards mistakes by the owners. Maybe, in the future they should release this information to the government and let them decide what is best. If not take the time to fix it yourself before finishing the job.

We need to bump up our safety measures on oil rigs so something like this does not happen again. There should also be a Pollution Disaster Cleanup Crew available to immediatley begin cleaning up the oil.

Just because you want to make money doesn't mean that you can just dig at the bottom of the ocean. Even though the oil spill happened it has caused us to think about what we should be doing to help our environment and be like the people who volunteer their time to help like cleaning up ducks who are covered in oil.

I feel that, even the oil spill being one of the most tragic events in US history, no one has learned a thing. Yes, the harm the animals got and everything was huge. I fell extremely bad for them because they shouldnt have had something like this happen to them, but seriously, BP did not care one BIT about the spill. They didn't care one bit about the harm of the animals. Why do you think the chief executive quit? He didn't want to lose money! I really think that even if you have to go to measure to go bankrupt, you REALLY should help your planet because it's where you live and it's your life, and we'll be here for a while. It happened about 25 years ago in the Exxon Oil spill in Alaska. That was the worst in history and we never thought it would happen again- but it did. Right here in the gulf. Everything happens agaiin and again because after a while we think that oh it won't happen again. Just like Katrina, and when Camille hit in the 1960s, it was devestating. 40 years later they though "oh this'll never happen again." and Katrina killed thousands (3,000). It's because we don't trust our instinct and go the extra mile/measure. If they would've done more inspections on that oil well like they should have, we would never have this problem. What a shame BP. Your commercials a few years ago actually had something about helping the environment, but you ONLY made it worse.
It's too bad we can't learn from our past oil spills. Wildlife, turtles especially and birds will not recover for years from the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Our environment is the one hurting the most from oil. I'm not sure if we'll ever learn how to take care of it.

I think that this was a really bad thing. Hundreds of people lost their jobs, animals lost their homes, and many also died. Offshore drilling is not safe. This should motivate scientists and others to find another alternative to oil. It already does enough harm to the environment. It only takes one mistake for this to happen again.

Sadly, I dont think they learned their lesson. I personally think they will just move on as if nothing happened. Oil companies really need to pay a little more attention to what they just did; cleaning up isnt enough. They should at least help pay for all the damage they're causing. They owe a lot to the government, enviornment, and to the fishermen for all the stress they caused to them. There should'nt be oil shipment over water anyway.
For one, it seems like spills are happening more and more often causing more and more damage. In all these times I don't think that any oil company has stepped up and changed their ways. I think it is only going to get worse and more wildlife will suffer because of the oil company's stupidity. It seems like whenever these things happen we start wanting change maybe for like 2 weeks. Then we are back to our lives just like nothing ever happened. The government must step up and start cracking down on oil companies to prevent further damage to the environment and wildlife. What I learned from the oil spill? That we should learn to be more responsible with our enviornment. This isn't the first time that this has happened, and they all could have easily been avoided. I just don't understand why the government continues to allow these mistakes to keep happening. This epidemic could have killed not just the variety of wildlife, but the people surrounding it. It shouldn't have gone on as long as it did, and I believe that it could have been taken care of faster than it was. I really just hope it won't happen again.

I think what we can learn from the oil spill is that we should should have a plan on what to do in case of these types of disasters. The oil spill was a terrible event. BP Gas Stations have definitely learned that they need to be WAY more careful. But, most of all, people learned that nomatter what you do, either throw a can into the ocean, or cause the biggest oil spill in history, you are hurting the sea, its contents, and even yourself.
Before the spill, many people didn't have recycling bins around their house. Even though I have grown up in a family where we DO recycle, I forget some of the time. Now I check myself before I throw something away.
Also, I think that more and more people are looking into ways to get electricity without spending lots or using materials that aren't safe for a good environment.

I think the next time we attempt something like this, we should know the problems it could cause, and have a way to fix it. If we know the problems then it should be easier to find something to change it. We could maybe make a small replica and do all the worst case scenarios, and then use that to fix it.
I think that they should have been more careful because they injured all of those poor animals i hope that they will be more careful next time.
I think people need to learn how to fix something temporarily, then once you get it all cleaned up then think of a way to fix it for good, it puts marks in my books for what we need to accomplish more, we can't spend all our time debating. act fast, than evaluate and fix.
This issue has really taken me to heart. The spill has not only put wildlife on the coast in harm's way, but it has also put many people at risk of drinking water contamination. Just to see disgusting, brown gook wash up on shore while you're enjoying yourself at the beach is enough to make anyone think to themselves, "Wow. Are we really the ones responsible for this mess?" And I don't mean them as an individual, but humans in general. I think this spill has really been a wake-up call for all to those realizing the problems of oil pollution and how we really should start taking this "Going Green" stuff seriously.

I think that we need to learn to take every and all precautions seriously. No one thought that this was going to happen-that's why they decided to drill oil so close to the shoreline. That's another mistake. People need to realize that things like this DO happen, even though they seem like they can't. We as a country just need to be careful, and be responsible.
many people before the spill thought that the enviorment was their play thing. Know people realize that theymust be more"green" and carefull or then world won't even be ours anymore.
I think that the government has now learned that everyone needs to be prepared because many unexpected things could happen at any moment. I'm sure BP learned that they made a dumb mistake and need to thing of the worst thing that could happen and prepare for it, that way they know what to do and won't do more demoralizing things to the country.

I dont think the lesson will be learned. Once they finish cleaning up; BP will most likely go back to drilling.
i think that we have learned to plan ahead for things like this. also to be extra safe.
BP went with a risky type of blowout preventer, and then they did not maintain it. I hope and I do believe that BP learned a lesson from this horrible disaster. I hope they also learned not to blame others for their own mistakes.
I think that we have learned that our environment is way more important than the cost of making oil rigs more safety efficient. The cost of not doing anything can lead to greater costs in having to clean the mistake.
I think that we can learn from this oil spill. It was a horrible thing that happened, things will be a mess for a long time because of it. It killed animals, destroyed the fishing business in many areas, because the fish were dying. I think the oil companies need to be more careful, and try and catch issues with their pumps before it causes a catastrophe.

Some people don't realize it, but not only do we get oil to run cars (etc.) with from the ocean, but also the petroleum to make plastic. There are so many ways that we depend on this resource. We need to find alternate fuel sources, and soon, because his can't happen again.
I think that many things should be learned from that oil spill. One thing being that we need to be more careful with what we all do. When we want to do something we need to think of all possible things that can happen and we need to know how to prevent them. Like with the oil spill, we all need to be ready to take charge and not let the oil spread as far as it did, if something like this was ever to happen again.
I think that we will learn to check on the oil vents so another catastrophe like this will not happen any time soon. We will definitely be more careful about our oil.
We need to learn to respect the enviorment a little better... if we keep doing what we are doing, our actual world will end up like the WALL-E movie... We desert poor Earth and it becomes littered, rusted, no plants, no animals, stacks of trash... And no one is there to help... I say no more.Its the worlds choice...
All I can say is that we have to be careful not to let this happen again. We learn from our mistakes so hopefully everyone learned a big lesson. It was such a ripple effect.
