Keeping Up
If you've told us you're missing the show this summer, tell your teachers I said you should get extra credit when school resumes. We think it's awesome that some of you are checking the site and the blog while we're off the air.
There's another way you can keep up with us, though, and that's at Facebook.com/CNNStudentNews. You don't have to be a Facebook member to watch our videos, view our photos or see our wall posts. (But if you are a member, drop us a line there and tell us how you're doing!)

if china got a leak and they fixed thier oil pipe real quick why don't BP and the US ask for help and some ideas or suggestions on how to fix ours?
I miss watching CNN Student News! And I'll miss it even more next year 'cause I'm going into HIGH SCHOOL!!!! But I'm going to watch ever today after school. Love all ya'll there at CNN Student News!
You guys have been aswome and I don't think that my teacher in 6th grade would let us watch news when we are at our math class.

I love student news!!!!A teacher at a new school really got me into it. Before, I never heard of it. I am blind, and can follow your reports well.
Last year was my first year to EVER see CNN student news and I have felt out of the loop all summer. Can't wait until school is back in session and August 16th! See you soon everyone! Oh and Jordan, work on some awesome puns ok?!
i dont rlly sleep n on skl days cus i have to get up at 5 45 am every morning to catch my bus at 6 35 am. it takes all tht time for me to get ready. ugg. i think tht tht was a short summer. it went by kinda slow tho.
I HATE SUMMER GOING THAT FAST!!! Its like you dont even have time to get relaxed and even if you do, school starts up again!
i hated that the show was off air this summer i would check everyday for it but there never was a video to watch. i wish that they would give us extra credit for watching your videos or trying to over the summer
i think that it is totally stupid that people fall asleep during class they just need to go to bed at night
I think are summer is way to short. School ended the 2nd of July and started August 12th. So I think we need to get out at the end of May this year. 🙂

no cause that is wrong i would have done wat he done but on the other hand it depends wat kind of trouble the were going in.
I think that kids should NOT have to pay to ride the bus . It's about
4-500 dollars per person and for my family with four kids that would be about 2000 dollars that most people don't usually have sitting around in their pockets. But if they did end up doing that in silverton, I bet most people would start driving, biking, and even walking. So then people with tons of money sitting around would ride the bus... maybe. To me this is a horribe thing to do expecially with our poor economy right now.I hope they don't actually end up doing this.
