Who's YOUR Person of the Year?
TIME magazine has been choosing a "Person of the Year" since 1927, when aviator Charles Lindbergh appeared on the cover. In the past, the company has defined its choice as "the person who most affected the events of the year." And this time around, the magazine picked Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke for his work on the U.S. economy.
Who's YOUR person of the year, and what is your choice based on?

My person of the year is Obama because he has shown me that I can be anyone no matter what the race is.
My person of the year is You Carl, your puns make either make me smile or make my cry because they are so amazing. Every time I walk into world geography I ask my teacher "Can we watch student news?"
My choice of the Person of the Year is Taylor Swift. Her music rocked both the American and the Global music market. WAY TO GO TAYLOR!!!!
My person of the year is my Grandpa because he has saved a family from a fire they didn't know was happening, donates to charities and recently has had his fourth heart attack but is still living. That's why I think he should be person of the year.
Barack Obama because he has done alot for our country the past year.
My person of the year is my Dad. He has made a lot of people happy. He bought a 150 gallon saltwater fish tank for my brother. Also he let my mom get our kitchen redone which she always wanted to do. Another reason is that he took me to the phillies world series game 5. He has also been a good person and has shown me that no matter what happens in your life you can always be a good person His is my person of the year.
I think the person of the year should be Barack Obama, because he has done many things for this country since elected president. He went all around the world to tell the country's that we owe money to that it will be paid. He is trying to make America a better nation.

I think that Hillary Clinton is the "Person of the Year" because of all of her accomplishments. She ran for president last year and didn't make it but came back strong this year as Secretary of State. She had many great accomplishments. She was responsible for an increase in the international affairs budget, which the Obama administration passed. She even came out on top on a debate, with Vice President Joe Biden, to send troops to Afghanistan. She was also able to get the Honduran President to agree to begin talking with the Micheletti government. She also started an initiative to stop world hunger, and accentuate the role of all woman. Lastly she tried to repair our image to people in Pakistan. Unfortunately, though, she probably won't run for president again.
