Summer Plans
Our last show of the school year will be on Friday, June 5. And while we're off the air for two months, I'll be mixing together a little vacation, paycation and staycation. Here's how that breaks down:
Beachfront = vacation
Backyard = staycation
Job = paycation
Nocation = schoolcation

Carl, it's all about the paycation. I mean, us students have to pay for college somehow. Me, I'll be working for NASA this summer. Heck yes...
I'll be in summer school, but I'll sure miss you Carl!
this summer is all about soaking up the sun and having fun! vacation for me!!! 😉
I will be moving this summer which takes up alot of my time. But while I'm not doing that I'll be at beach!!! Plus what would a summer be without spending tons of time with my friends.

I open my wallet and see dust. (Sad Sight) So this summer I will be working for a hunting youth conservation camp trying to make some green for my first vehicle. (Used of course)
Vacation for most of us Carl! Hitting the beach, Hanging at the mall, and chilling with friends is most of our plans this summer. Some extra cash wouldn't hurt either but mom and dad won't cough it over.
It sounds like real fun about what everybody in my class would do but yeah yeah...
All i would do is sit on my bed and read a book (or study)

For me it's staycation.
I'll also go on a bref vacation to my grandmother's.

and I also like to make things like model airplanes-(-somewhat unusual for a girl isn't it?)

I live in Korea (South) and here, summer vacation doesn't start untill July!!!:(
We have long winter vacations but there's so much to do in the summer than in winter

I will be working in the summer and going to college and going to be having fun watching new movies from netflix.
I feel lucky because my parents are taking me out of school early to go to Florida!!
I'm going to North Carolina and going hang gliding. I don't think Carl can make any jokes for that one.
I got a vacation to North Carolina. I'm so excited, because I actually get to go hang gliding! How cool is that?

This summer im gonna be going to Sweden to play hockey against other countries.
I'm going to go all-out vacation! My eighth-grade class was supposed to go on a field trip to Washington D. C. this summer, but unfortunately, it was canceled. That won't stop me though, because I'm going to a conference in Grand Rapids, then another one in Milwaukee! To wrap it up, I'm going to Disney World! Although I'm going to enjoy my vacation, I'm going to miss watching CNN Student News. You'd better think of a really good pun to wrap up this year's Student News, Carl!
i might be moving to texas... and i have baseball... so vacation for me.
The economy is my enemy this summer! My dad doesn't have a job so I'm going to staycation. The pool is my new "beach".

I am staying home over my summer. I will be playing tons of baseball this summer. I think playing baseball is better then going on a vacation.
This summer, I am going to sleep, read and swim in our neighborhood pool.

I am doing a lot for summer. I am practicing cheer leading and softball, and when that gets over, I am going to Utah to visit my sister, them from there I am going to Florida.
This summer, I am going to the beach for 3 weeks and sort of taking a noncation because I will be attending UGA with my cheer squad.
During the summer I plan start packing to move. I also am planning on having fun with my family.

I always have fun summers, but this summer is going to be awesome. im going to hang out with my dad/ teacher. I love my dad.
I'm going to go fishing and hopefully catch another pike. Last year I caught a 44 1/2 inch pike. AndI'll be camping a lot and going to a beach and going up north.
This summer is going to be about friends, sports, and family for me. This summer I already have plans to hang with some of my friends, I also plan to take a trip to Tennessee to see my family. Then if I am not doing either of those things, I have sports I am involved in.
I'm going to be rocking out on our cruise we are taking in the summer, which is going to Jamaica, and complete with my cousin's graduation in Florida, I'll take you on our cruise Carl, of course if you want
Carl, I am going a vacation to new york and it will so much fun. I think that is the only place i will be going i am not going to a lot it is not going to be a very fun summer but i think going to new york is going to be lots of fun.
This summer I will be going to the beach twice with my dad and best friend Sydney. As well as moving into my new house. WHOOO!
I'm having a slacation. I'm gonna hang with friends, Watch movies and lay on a couch all day everyday.

Over the summer I plan on going to Florida and staying in my uncles condo. When I come back from Florida I'm planing on going to Kentucky to see my family and bring my cousin and his friend back home with me the rest of the summer I plan on going to drivers training and the summer program at my school. I will be able to do all types if things from swimming to going to a Tigers game! I can't wait until Summer!!!!!!!!
I will be going to Missouri and a few other states I can't wait till then....Also i will be baby sitting and hanging out with friends and family. And we are going to the Great lakes I can't wait till this summer... =D
Im going on vacation but i have so many summer camps that my parents are going to make me do!!!
I'm just going to be running around with my friends. It's not much of a vacation, but it's pretty fun when we're hyper!
In my Summer, I am going to play video games and sports! Nothing better than that! I may have a job to do for decent pay. But other than that, I hope not to work much. We need the break from the actual school work, so they better not make school year round!
Over the summer I am staying at a campground that I have a permanent site at all summer long.

This summer I'm going on vacation and stuff. I'm also going to Cedar Point and the beach like every year. I'll just be hanging out with friends and stuff like that most of the summer. That is what my plans are this summer.
Over the summer, I don't plan to do too much. My friend and I are probably going to go swimming and "tree jumping" (a lot!). We'll catch frogs and turtles and name them and give them their own personalities, claiming them as our own. Then, because I'm kind of a geek, I will probably study for some of the courses for next year and work for my mom to make money. Typical kid stuff, you know?
I've got a definite dream vacation coming my way – Munich, Salzberg, Florence, and Rome. Arrivderci!
Well my summer wont be that fun. I have Junior Varsity cheerleading practice during my summer. Grant you i like chee leading, but my summer! Other than that i don't really have anything to do. We might go camping but im not sure. Whats your summer plans Carl?
Well my plans are to play baseball. I'm pretty good besides in warm-ups but i'm the not the best. When I'm not playing baseball I'm sitting at home. Or I will be at a friends house.
Over the summer I will not be doing anything. Besides hang out with friends and work. Plus swimming! That pretty much sums up my boring summer. OMG SO BORING!!!!
I don't think i will be doing anything really. In August I will be at fair. The rest of the time i will be at the summer program for Community Unlimited and possibly babysitting. Also i will probably hang out with my Aunt Nancy and my cousins Diane and Nan. I might get my mom to take me to Chicago or Ohio but i am possibly going to Chicago with the Community Unlimited. Also with them i am spending the night in a zoo. I think that's it except like fishing and stuff like that.
my plans for summer. I think I'm going to stay home all summer. I am just going to sleep. I might work at my dads restaurant.
Well I am going to be very very busy this summer. I am going to be doing basically baseball all summer and the days when I don't have baseball, then I will be working in the fields working as de-tasseling for money. Other than that I will just hang at my g-pas house and have fun swimming in his pool and hanging with friends.
Wow, where so I even start?!?! I have plans to apply for online classes for Algebra II/Trig, Creative Writing, or World Religion Honors. I'm also traveling around southern Michigan (not a big deal since I live just miles north of Indiana). I also will spend time with family and friends, and have to do lots of work at home, 🙁 and hang around doing nothing. 🙂 This summer will be great (ecxept for the chores)!
My summer calendar so far is clear, I don't have anything planned really. All I have in store for the summer is a lot of wake boarding and a lot of time spent in the sun!!. I can not wait until summer gets here, I am so excited, mostly because I can sleep in and not go to school. There is one my brother's graduation party, but that is about it. To conclude my summer will be a staycation.
I'm going to go to Florida for a couple weeks and chill there for a while. Then as soon as I get back I will be playing baseball until like the middle of June. So I can't wait till summer
Hmmmmmm.......I think that I am going to do a lot of saying home and relaxing for the summer. I am probably going to watch my little cousins and hang with my friends. I am going to probably sleep in a lot and spend time with my grandpa and grandma. Maybe even I might go to Chicago? Also play a lot of sports and talk on the phone! :]
This summer is going to be righteous! I plan to get very dirty, play king of the raft, hang out with friends (neighbors, BEWARE!), and spend a lot of time up at my grandparents' cottage with family and treat myself to some skin cancer. Summer is going to end very early this year for me since volleyball starts in August, but that just means that I will have the other two months to live it up. Sleep? Yah, right! Wake up at ten in the morning and fall asleep at five in the morning. Have a wonderful summer and rest of the year. CHEERS!!!!!!
Well, usually my summer is open and I've got all the free time in the world. However, this year is a different story. Toward the beginning of the summer I have softball. Then at the same time I am detasseling for about a month. At the end, I have volleyball starting. But throughout these minor plans, I am defiantly going to take time out to hang out with all my friends.
This summer i plan to go on vacation for 5 to 10 days. Then actually i am working for one in the detassiling then on my days off of that i work bailing hay sounds fun actually it is because while detassling i work with my friends from different schools and while bailing hay, well actually that is how i got that job was through a friend from the high school in battle creek working with their parents in their feild up in ypsilanti. Then after i do that all summer then i get to watch my brother go off to college which is going to be the worst day of my life, watching my brother go.
I am going to have a crazy summer. I am totally going to hang out with sydney, lindsey, jordan, asia, alayna, brittany t, kelci a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ummm I am also going to be going to Virginia... WOW what a summer....

My grandpa from Finland is coming to spend four weeks in the US with my family. We are going to go to Destin together.
I will be going to Jamaica for my aunts wedding. I've never gone there so it should be a fun experience for me.

I am going to a bunch of places in spite of the economy. I am going to D.C., Popham beach, Moosehead Lake, Sebago Lake. I am going to be really tired at the end. I think that I might go to a couple of Seadog games.

For this summer, I'm going out of town with my family. Honestly, I can't say that I'm going to miss school too much, but I will miss most of my teachers.

Me? Nothing. My family does not go on vacation, so I just stay home. But I can't wati to GET OUT OF SCHOOL! I am so sick of it...(I wish I could have a paycation...but I cannot drive, therfore I cannot work...) And without school I cant do what I've wanted to do ALL year, sleep, chill, relax and do MY thing on MY time. I also need more time for writing and drawing, so that's what I'll do!

I will be going to the Pentagon to visit my uncle. He is a four star general, I will spend the summer there and go to work with him. But not in the high peofile meetings. I will be fun!!

I can't wait untell the summer because I will be riding my bike and moving to oregon. Also, there will be hunting. I cant wait till our end of the year trip to Slverwood.
I will be taking a vacation. First I will be going to New York. Then I will be going to Lake Junaluska in North Carolina. Busy summer for me!!!
I plan to go innertubing, water skiing, and other amazing water sports.
I also might be moving to california. It is also great to kick back and relax after a long school year and celebrate my birthday! plus, I also plan to finish a book I am writing. Summer is always 100% awesome!!!

This summer im not going to take a vacation, a paycation or a schoolcation for that matter. I guess you could say im taking a "staycation" but im not really just going to be in my backyard all summer. For me its going to be a footcation because i will be doing football all summer. a=And ill take some lakecations also because im going to be at the lake a lot swimming. Im just glad were out of this stink hole called "school".

I'll be chilling out at the beach while my brother is spazzing out about his 2 jobs that he needs "SO BADLY" but really doesn't.
I plan to go swimming for most of the summer.I also plan to got to my grandma and granpa's house in billings.Go to my step mom and dad's house and see my half brother.Swim some more.Play my Nintendo DS and my Playstation 2.And go swim some more.

Summer plans for me is spend three weeks in Oklahoma for the Pinto World Horse Show, then have fun for the month of July and then the County Fair, then State Fair, and then I move to Scotland in September! WOohoo!

I have to go to Branson with my family..(???) I really hope that I can hang with my buds and go swimming!!! I love summer, but to tell you the truth, it gets kind of boring towards the end. And how could I forget? I'm going to miss seeing you every day Carl!!!!!
Every summer I am at home because my mom does daycare 4 days a week in the summer.
I am going to volunteer at girl scout camp and going to work corn stoking and alsogoing on a trip to Florida to visit my grandma!!!!!!
I am MANY years out of school, and work full-time year round = no vacation. No sweat, I have a great life and I love my job. The real reason I'm writing is to say that I think CNN student news is the best news program on the air – and as a former news junkie with a Master's Degree in education, I consider that a qualified opinion! You have a brief, balanced, comprehensive glance at the highlights. No frivolously shocking or emotionally gut-grabbing propaganda masquerading as news. I even get a chuckle from most of Carl's puns. I can always get into more depth from countless sources if I want to. I'll miss you over the summer. Thanks Carl, keep up the good work!

Staycation, we live at the beach, so it's best. I think it's sad that I'm going to school on the memorial day as a make-up day for the fire, and there will be no CNN Student news. 🙁
schoolcation for me. i get to go to the washington D.C. leadership FFA conferance. and i get to go to the Wisconsin State convention. then for my church youth group we are going to North Caralina. pretty much all in the month of July.
I am going to my grandparents house for their 50th wedding anniversery.
Not much more after that probably go camping or something
I am not going to any place, but my best friend is moving in July to Australia FOREVER:( . on the other hand, I am going to a summer scchool, so there's no difference between a holiday and schoo day.
