We've covered a lot of ground in the past few weeks, and we're curious as to what you're most concerned about. What's on your mind, as the school year winds down? Is it something in current events, or are you more focused on getting through finals?

I'm concerned about the swine flu; I'm afraid to get it myself. I've heard someone in my area got it but I just hope not to get it; I dont wanna die.
my biggest concerns are the swine flu and the economy if we dont get it togather now then our world s going to be in a disaster for a long time.
I'm not concerned about the outbreak of swine flu right now but the possibilty of an even worse outbreak in a couple months. I just hope we have a vaccine by then.
The swine flu is spreading so wash your hands alot! I hope this goes on student news..
I'm concerned about all the other things to like the economy and the swine flue, but I'm more concerned about the exams. I think it's because it affects me most directly. At least more than the other things do. It's the thing that I have to do whatever happens, is it not?
First of all there should not be any concern for exams if you have attended classes, done your home work, participated in class discussions, answered successfully etc. But I feel sorry for those who avoid in doing all this and atlast are the ones in tension. My concern is the economy. I need to see the change it is going to have in order for me and other people to function in it. Our career goals achievements depends on it. On the other hand the change of economy will decide the function of the human beings. Next I am concern of the unecessary wars taking place in the foreign countries because that is effecting the economy the most. Flu is something that is come and go because disease are somthing that comes and goes. Today is swine flu tommorrow can be another disease.
OMG!if i dont get straight A, my phone will be confiscated![need to study!]
Swine flu concerns me the most. Because of the swine flu, schools are closing, and that interferes with our education. I know what it's like to have the flu, and I hate it, but hearing that the swine flu is much worse and can cause death frightens me. I hope that we can find a cure.
I'm worried about the economy because it has been bad for a long time and if the banks loose money then it is going to get worse.
Biggest concern is what I'm doing this summer. The other ones ares till there but my summer is what I'm thinking about.
I picked the economy because we don't have final exams. People say that the swine flu isn't that dangerous, and there isn't much cases near my town. I don't really know anything about the Taliban over in the middle east, so I don't think I have to worry about anything I don't know.
I would have to say taliban, but that isn't a big concern because they are all the way over in pakistan or wherever they live. Although, they could make a 9-11 kind of thing, but I don't live in a target city, either. So, I guess the economy. I haven't been affected now, but will when I have to start paying bills and stuff.
I think the swine flu concerns me most because you never know where it is going to strike next. When you wake up you pretty much ask the closest person where it hit overnight.
I think my biggest concerns would be the Taliban and the economy. The swine flu isn't really important-it seems to be winding down, and is only really the flu in the first place-and we don't have final exams in our school. It could take years for the economy to be fixed, but maybe we can get rid of the Taliban soon.
The economy is most likely going to go back to normal. I don't believe in global warming. If anything, our arrogance will be our downfall here in the U.S. The swine flu is basically the same as the regular flu. as it is, the regular flu kills more than 3,000 people a year in the U.S, mostly young children and the elderly. We don't have finals. The war in Pakistan, though, doesn't seem to be going anywhere, so, it's the only thing I'm concerned about.

I'm most concerned about global warming!!!Our time is winding down to figure out an alternatives to gas, ways to recycle more and just be all around more green!!! I think while the people are worrying about the swine-flu so much, which of coarse they should but maybe not quite so much. They should be more worried about our planet slowly wasting away!!! So far we aren't exactly drastically changing our not so green habits.
I think that the economy is the worst because I'm not scared of the flu. It wont hurt us, just hinder us, and the Taliban cant get through our security or if they do then they aren't going to attack Maine. But if our economy goes down the drain then we lose that security to stop the Taliban and we lose the flu medicine in case the flu really does get out of hand.
Also I would like to make a shout out to Mr. Todd my social studies teacher that lets us watch your show in the mornings.

In calirornia their have been two major fires, the Tea fire, which was devestating,it destroyed 2,000 homes. And right now their is a new fire going on. I am threatened to evacuate for thesecond time

My biggest concern is the economy because that is the most important and it isn't doing so well.
I think that the economy is the thing people need to worry about, because when I grow up, and other people, I want the economy to be good so I don't go poor. I know it's already pretty bad, and is kinda getting slower, but it's still way too bad.
I am most concerned about the economy because I dont want to know what will happen if, unlike the great depression, nothing gets better and our country becomes basically a dead nation.
I am really freaked out about the war i really don't want to get nuked
I am scared about pretty much just the economy cuz the economy effect everyone the other things effect some people.
I am the most scared about finishing school and I really hate how everyone is freaking out about the swine flu (H1N1). Its outrageous man!!!!
I think that the economy should be our main big concern. Right now we are in a tough time where the market and everything is crashing. People are losing jobs and suffering. I think that that is the biggest problem in America, and we should fix it. 🙂
My biggest concern is the economy because what i wanted to do is to manage stocks for a living.
I think that the biggest concern right now is is the economy. I mean it just keeps getting worse and worse and more people lose jobs, and house. So as it keeps going down more people homeless and struggling to keep up with payments. So right now, at this moment I think that the economy is our biggest concern. Although the swine flu could become one of the biggest in the fall and winter when people usually get sick and then it will get worse.
We're most concerned about the Swine flu because we are NOT trying to get sick when summer is right around the corner.
What concerns me the most is that what if they shut down my school?If they do I wonder if we have to make up the weeks we missed of school from our summer vacation.
I am more worried about the Taliban because they have the power to kill thousands of people. They also a lare threat to the Holy Land which Pope Benedict is visiting on May 8.
I know thje economy is really bad but, I am more concerned about swine flu because i don't feel like dying right now i got my whole life ahead of me.

All of the above issuses are important.But finals concern me the least because I don't have them.
The fact that swine flu has reached my state is cause for worry locally but I think i'm most concerned about the Taliban and the economy.

I think that for once everyone should focus on the good things that are happening in America. Sure, the economy is bad and swine flu is spreading, but America is still the greatest country in the world. The NBA playoffs are going on and everyone is excited to watch some of the greatest basketball players in the world play against each other. America's pasttime (Baseball) has started and some surprise teams have taken over. We have an excellent new leader in president Obama. Although the economy is struggling, look at the countries who have no economy at all. On earth day, thousands of people in America took charge and tried to make America a better country by helping the planet. These are just a few of the hundreds of great things going on in America right now. My point is, People who think that America is horrible should focus on the postitive aspects of being an American and realize we are still living in the greatest country in the world!!!!!

The swine flu is the thing that soncerns me the most because i don`t want to get it and am concerend about if friends have it at school and stuff because i just don`t want to get it...

I think the Economy. The Swine Flu is dying down, the Taliban Situation won't get better that much until the Economy is fixed, and I have no idea for the Final Exams.
It has to be the Taliban in Pakistan.
Pakistan is a nuclear nation. If the Taliban could get their hands on those weapons, the whole free world could be at risk. Just imagine if the Taliban gave al qaeda a nuclear bomb?
In looking at the other options; a small flu, exams, and the economy pale in comparison to the Taliban threat.
i cant believe some people are more concerned about final exams than other things going around. Thats so ignorant, and selfish.
I'm not worried about exams because I'm super smart (6th grade) and usually get As on tests. I'm not sure whether not being pressured on tests is a fault or a benefit, but I'm worried about this time of the year,because your pressured to heighten your grades to pass the grade.
I think all these issues are reallu important (except for the final exams, they are stressfull but I still get through them) but I dont reallyget whats going on in Pakistan, but I will look it up.
I'm much more concerned about the Economy. IT will take longer to heal then the Swine Flu. It will also affect us more when we are ready to support the Economy. Basically I'm thinking more about future concerns then the concerns very likely to soon not matter any more.
I am concerned about the economy (still) and H1N1. Hopefull the flu is just something that has been overblown, and the economy will recover after Obama's plans are put in place.

Economy-going to get worse before it gets better. So, it doesn't help to worry about that, what can I do? Well, I can trust the Lord and pray he will guide the descions made.
Taliban in Pakistan-A very dangerous situation. But, all I can do is trust the Lord and pray for our government officials wisdom.
Swine Flu--Who knows where this can go? All I can do is trust the Lord and pray for it to subside and for the familys who have to deal with the sickness.
Final Exams--Definitely thinking about this up-in-coming challenge.But, all I can do is trust the Lord, pray, and study.

I think that the economy is the most important issue now because it affects everything.
The Swine Flu (H1 N1). No one has died from Swine Flu alone, they caught something else while they had Swine Flu. They should just call Swine Flu H1 N1, because you can't only catch it from pigs. The government has gone way out of hand with it. It is been so badly talked about it some people have stopped buying pork. Which I think is stupid!
i am so scared of final exams; but this year the 7th graders can get out of their finals if they had an A in the 3rd quarter and have an A going into the finals. That means that i could only have to take MATH and RELIGION. I am very scurred of math exams. Math not my best subject.

Media has a lot of impact on us. So we have to figure out accurate situation and to take action based on accurate information, that is we should not be influenced by wrong information about Swine Flu.
Mr. Flynchstone is an interesting teacher, he always makes sure the class is under control, but even though he has his mean moments, he's kind-of cool.

Our class is very concerned about the economy. Some of the kid's parents in our class have lost their jobs, and it has been very hard for their families. The economy, has been really rough on our school, and we can't afford things like we used to. Paper, Pencils, Pens, and School supplies are not supplied for our school anymore. Our school computers are very old and have not been updated since 1962.
I am mostly concerned about the Economy because i am going to be working soon and if the Economy is bad then kids that can work wont be able to

the one that concerns me the most is the Taliban in Pakistan for what they could do if they got the Nukes that are in pakistan or any kind of nuclear weapons so they can attack the United states.

I have to say my greatest concern is the depleting economy. Both my parents lost their jobs recently (almost a month apart from each other) and now we have to cut back on everything from electronics to grocereys. I know a lot of other families are dealing with the same issues my family is, but that doesn't mean we should just except it. We need to work to get the economy up and running again before even more people lose their jobs, and without giving money to big corporations that will just give their higher-ups big bonuses.

Prices keep rising due to the economy, so even if I pass exams with flying colors and graduate high school, I may not be able to afford going to college.
My biggest concern right now is the current state of the economy. Prices keep increasig due to the economy. If I were a Senior at this stage hoping to move on to a university of some kind, I'd be up a creek without a paddle! I sure hope this bailout works...

the the swine flu is a scary thing. the swine flu is a huge problem.i was watching the CNN student newson thursday and there was a picture of people trying to find a cure for the swine flu and out class noticed that there was only one person working on the vacination.i think that we need to make a bigger deal out of this and get this problem solved faster that what we are.+

I'm not worried about the economy. I believe in someone who is much greater than that. And I'm not worried about foreigh affairs, because my God is also incontrol of things that do not seems to be realted to me, even though I'm sure that they fundamentally are. I'm not worried about Swine Flu, although I'm hoping to travel to Mexico on a mission trip this summer, and final exams? Why worry? Those are almost done, and in public school, those are really easy. I'm a little worried about where I'll work this summer, but I know that even that is taken care of. To worry is to lose sleep, and as a student, that's not in my best interest. Besides, when you believe in something that is greater that you are, worrying is pointless.

my biggest concerns for our world is that we figure out our economy situation and that we find ways to help people in need with this crisis. there are people stariving and people without homes. children are not going to school and no having a home to go to at night. i think everyone needs to notice that we need to come together and help eachother.
