Our producer's mother has a heart as big as a house.  She'd take one look at what I'd call the ugliest cat still alive, and she'd adopt it in a heartbeat.

I don't think I could do it.  Don't get me wrong; I'm all for adopting animals that aren't the prettiest (we had a chihuahua).  But after you see the creature in Monday's show, you'll wonder why the camera lens didn't crack.

So the big debate:  Could you take "Ugly" home?  Would you hold it, feed it and show it to your friends?

...Or would you take one look at the thing and run away screaming?
