Job Hunt Haircuts

Would you cut your hair to help land a job?

I can't remember whether I got a haircut for my very first job interview back in high school, but I do recall wearing a pair of khakis, button-down shirt and tie. Within a week or two, I was proudly earning my first paycheck. And then, like now, I spoke to hundreds of people in a single shift - only my talking in that job was usually limited to one question: "Paper or plastic?"

You've probably been told that when you go for a job interview, you want to look your best. So in an increasingly competitive market, how far would you go to clean up? Would you change your style, your hair, your attitude, or nothing at all?
