Um...we're talking about the kind discussed in Wednesday's show.
It's gonna take a whole lot more than the picture you see in our program to convince me that there was once life on Mars. I'm not saying it's impossible; I'm just saying that it seems a bit of a stretch that a rotini-looking bit of matter was once a Martian worm.
But for the sake of argument, let's say it was. You hear the line that it "could be a big deal for all of us." I agree that it could change the way we think of the galaxy (or even the universe). But honestly, is it really going to affect anyone on Earth today if there was once life on Mars? Or is it just something that seems cool?
