You're given $10 and an assignment to "pay it forward"; you can't spend it on yourself, and you can't trade it with a friend. And if you're thinking this is a bad deal - that you're not really being given $10 if you've got to pass it on - think about how far it'd go anyway. It's not like you can buy a new game or jacket or pair of shoes with it. And I guess that's the point: It's not much if you spend it on yourself, but how far can you make it go for someone else?
