I knew a guy in high school who started his own lawn-care company.  Another made a fortune running a fleet of garbage trucks.  A third started his own car repair company.  The thing they all had in common:  They were teenagers.  They understood the basics of business, math, and service; put those together, and you've got a good chance of making money.

But Monday's story about a 9-year-old who started her own dog treats company really blew me away.  She's the youngest businessperson I'd ever heard of!  Of course, she had help from her mom (and her dog), but it's encouraging for any aspiring entrepreneur to see someone so young become successful.

I bet that dog is going to be HUGE.
