Sunderland Rocks

If that title makes you say, "What?" you oughta check out our second summer Webcast of CNN Student News.

Zac Sunderland's world record attempt got me thinking about my own summer vacations from high school.  I spent one playing drums (loudly), one playing baseball (badly), one playing on a new computer (confusedly), and one working at Kroger (to save up for a new computer).

I don't think I ever achieved a world record (except maybe for talking), but I usually had a great time whatever I did.  So whether you're sailing the world's oceans, tanning by the world's oceans, or just kicking back in one of the world's living rooms, we hope you're enjoying these long, luminous, lingering days.

That's funny...yeah, I'm trying to have some fun here! Hope you are finding time to relax. Plus, a shout out to Zac: I'm rootin' for ya, bud! Even if something causes you to not make the record, oh well. How many teens can say that they have at least made an honest attempt to circumnavigate the world via the sea?

I'm sooo floored that he's circumavigating the world for his summer vacation!!! That would be the funest adventure ever. 😀

I'm not doing anything as exciting as that. But, I am going to try and learn how to play Tennis. That will be fun. Also, go swimming and work on making some progress on writing my novel. That's my summer plans. 🙂
