Thank you guys SO MUCH for writing that you'll miss us over summer break. We'll still be doing updates at CNNStudentNews.com, and our daily show will be back on TV this August 18th.

I'm glad you guys aren't stopping the show forever. It puts over-my-head topics in a simpler form that teens can understand.
I think kids getting payed for working hard isn't fair to the kids who do it anyway.
We always start out our Social Studies class with watching CNN Student News. I think that it's an awesome and effective way to inform kids of some of the issues and things going on in our world today. I have really enjoyed watching it throughout this year. I never thought that I'd actually admit that i'm going to miss watching it over the summer. Keep doing what you do!
Wow i watched this show almost everyday i played the rice game and even apprieciated my teacher and trust me it was not an easy thing to do with teachers like mine!!!!!!!! anyways rock on like you always do.

My current issues class watches the cnn student news every morning. Monica and you do such an excelent job on it. I'm going to miss the show every morning. Thanks for being one of the greatest student news casts around.
I'm going to miss those ending lines Carl! They are pretty "sad" (as in freaky not crying sad). Our class always thinks its pretty weird (we sometimes make fun of them)! Well, I can't wait for next year! Are you going to talk about the olympic turn outs next year? Have an awesome summer! Rock on!
i like the news i watch it every day in ms.shimek's room and it gets me ready for class

I don't get to have summer vacation because I'm homeschooled and I don't live in the US! Our summer vacation starts at July.
Carl you don't even know how much I am going to miss YOU and CNN. Our journalism class watches CNN everyday. That's the highlight of my day, seeing YOU!!!!!! Haha. Your little funny lines at the end of CNN make me laugh so hard, everyone thinks I am crazy. (The show before winter break was funny, when they had lines from you, and you threw up the Santa hat!) I'm your biggest fan!! Really I am, I hope I can meet you sometime. Have a great summer!!! 🙂
Yes! I will soooo miss CNN! When I am on school breaks, I never watch the news. But when I am in school, I learn what's going on in the world! Keep working Mr. Azuz! I can't wait to hear more of your corny jokes next year.

Awwwwwww. I'll miss student news. I like it because it fills me in on topics around the world in terms I can understand. I'll miss you guys. See you in August!

I was sick al last week and I didn't get to watch any videos. I am sad because that is one of the best parts of Social Studies. I had the eye cold and I had a sinus infection and stuffy nose.
I am a 7th grader and we always start our history class off with cnn student news. She makes us take notes wich aint so fun but I love waching the news. and plus u guys make it so that kids can understand it. see ya next year. (i gots Itones so even if we dont wach it in class i can wach it at home)
I cried myself to sleep last night worrying what was going to happen. But now I feel so much better and can speak for everyone when i say, " We will miss you!"

Hey Carl! Our 8th grade geography class at O'block Junior High School loves watching CNN student news. We will definitely miss you over the summer. We took a picture with you on our projection screen behind us as our farewell to you to put on CNN on Friday (; WE LOVE YOU CARL!!!!

Wanted to share with you how we here at Tequesta Trace Middle School ended the school year today, without being able to see CNN STUDENT NEWS, as all equipment had been returned to the Media Center for the summer. We took headlines from the newspaper, grouped the students, they had a few minutes to create a short newscast based on the headlines and a few more minutes to practice being you, and delivering the show in a few minutes. We had our own CNN STUDENT NEWS delivered in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Russian, puns included (mostly about the space station toilet issue). Your program is excellent!
