Friday is 3.14.2008. And that means it's Pi Day.
No, really. Every year, people actually celebrate that little number with lots of decimal places on this day. You can read all about it here. And teachers, there are some ideas for Pi Day classroom activities. If you try any out, let us know how you did. Take a pic, and send in an iReport.
Enjoy the pi.

We don't have Pi Day here. I never knew about Pi Day! It's so fun! 😀
Ever since this day started, most of the kids in my school have benn saying "Happy Pi Day" i think it's kinda funny really, and I guess the math teachers like it aswell
I can't believe that the U.S . is in the mess we are in. We are suppose to be a very strong nation. I think if we stop being so nice to every nation that wants help from us, and take care of our own, this country would be a better place for all.
I never knew that there was a pi day.I t sounds like it could be fun

My teacher took it a little to far by how he did a paper chain, gave away pie, and had us(eighth graders) sing a cheesy pi day song and recorded it.
