At some point, you've probably had a teacher who went on maternity leave. (I remember hoping our substitutes would totally let us slack off until they started clamping down on the original teachers' curriculum. Oh, well...)
By law, working moms get maternity leave; some working dads even get paternity leave. But Thursday's program brought you an interesting debate about whether Denver's pregnant high school girls should get maternity leave. What's your opinion on all this? Should pregnant students be eligible for a benefit that working mothers get? And what about paternity leave: Should young fathers get time off as well?
