Sounds like something you'd hear at a pep rally. "Gimme an H..."
But this time, it's personal: What are you doing to get in the holiday spirit? Now I've asked you what you thought was the best Christmas gift EVER, and we're currently hoping teachers will send in I-Reports on what your class is doing to help others over the holidays. Currently, CNN's Media Operations department is collecting holiday letters to send to U.S. troops overseas, and a very good friend of mine is assembling care packages for troops through the "Any Soldier" project.
That brings us to you: Are you doing anything special for others this holiday season?
Not really. The only good thing that has happened so far is that my grandmother and grandfather just moved to Texas where I live and just recently found a house. I hope i get what i wished for. :p :p :p :p :p :p
Hmmm.... The holidays are already here aren't they? Wow. It seems like it was Christmas a week ago. For the holidays this year, it is gonna be a small gathering of my mom, my granparents and I. This is a sad holiday season for me because my grandparents are moving out of their house that they have lived in for almost twenty-seven years. I have been born and raised in that area. They hand built that house with the surrounding trees and some elbow grease. I am goning to miss that house so much. It was truly the most amazing place ever. Well, at least my grandparents are moving closer. But I am happy. H-O-L-I-D-A-Y-S!!!!! YEAH!
We want YOU for the holidays Carl!
I am trying to help other people.
This is my favorite time of year and I am insulted by the car commercial which shows people in long robes, one holding a lamb,... singing "duh" to the melody of a long loved Christmas song.. Come on people. I haven't heard one person who likes that commercial . I won't be buying that car anytime soon. Turning prospective buyers away? What's that all about?
YEY!!!! Bagy pant are soo tacky and gross!! I wish that our school whould get rid of bagy pants because all the guys think there soo cool but there really not!!!!
Holiday Spirit?
Have you ever considered the end of the year and the holiday season as a kind of involuntary ritual? Claimed by most, if not by all, complete with miracles – manmade or natural, like the solstice. A time considered by good cheer and careful giving. Sad stories abound opportunities for giving, charities are given in reverence at this time of year, in a seemingly involuntary motion like some kind of cosmic demo. End of the year sale for goodness and good cheer. merry xmas!
i love all the hoilidays i like to get together with my family and my friends!
