Halloween Humor
One of the things I love about working on CNN Student News: the fun we have on air. We always take the serious stories seriously, but anyone who's seen the "hoodle" or the recent Mud Run knows that the goofy stuff gets coverage too. Not every news show gives you the chance to make some cheesy pun at the end or to do what we did at the end of Wednesday's Halloween program, for example...

CNN is great to watch, it keeps me updated in the world. I’m a teenage kid and a lot of news channels are boring. CNN student news is real news but with a touch of humor makes it for my taste of news, thanks CNN for the great job your doing!!
Hey Carl. I like the fact that you guys have fun while repoting the news. I'm a teenager and to me most news programs are boring and dont interest me. On your show I never know what I will see. The funny reports are always the best and I liked the one from today. Keep the funny news coming

Dear Carl,
We watch student news EVERYDAY in my Honors US Cultures Class, and your "Off the Beaten Path- Halloween Edition" was a very funny twist to the regular show. You are our class favorite, and everytime you host we are excited. We didn't think you'd be doing anything for Halloween, and then you surprised us at the end with your laughable fangs, and (was that a) Transylvanian accent? Haha, it was a great way to brighten up your already funny show.

My friend and I the CNN student news format for our newscast in health and EVERYONE loved it! We even added cheezy puns:] My honors class(including our crazy teacher) LOVED today's segment!

I saw that one and I think that the first one was more funny. It was the one when the people were doing the news and these gobolins appeared. I couldn't stop laughing until I finally stoped. Were you laughing your head off?
