Wherever You Are...

Thanks to Rebecca, who wrote in last Tuesday, and to Ana from Taiwan and to The Hien from Vietnam for viewing our show from abroad.  One of the things we find AWESOME about the Internet:  It makes us available to virtually every computer user on the planet.

We've received e-mail from students in Australia; folks from Asia and Europe have written that our show helps them practice their English.  So whether you're recording us on CNN Headline News from a Cincinnati suburb or viewing us online from New Delhi, we're happy to have you along.  And we're always looking for feedback, so please keep your comments coming our way!

    Hi, Carl
I'm a big fan from Taiwan. One question for you. I think transcripts are a great help for those who study English as a second language. If people have difficulty understanding CNN anchors' words, they can read the transcripts and then listen to the shows over and over again. That way they can start to enjoy watching CNN. I'm wondering why some shows have transcripts (like yours and AC 360), while others do. By the way, I think you're a very humorous guy. Keep up the good work, Carl.

    Hi,

There are many things that CNNStudentNews brings to everyone (not only the students). As I'm so busy with my work, I would like to spend 10 mins on CNNStudentNews everyday, CNN helps me learn more about U.S and gain much more knowledge of many fields such as science, geography, politics, and the world's issues.

I'm so grateful for the work you guys have been doing for everybody. It's awesome! Thanks!

    All the best,
    The Hien – from Vietnam

CNN Student News is great for kids and adults too! I think Carl is funny with his puns. This program is great for kids to learn not only for educational purposes but for creative purposes. I love CNN Student News with Carl Azuz.
