Early in January, it's always a madhouse in the gym, with people trying to keep their resolutions to get in shape/stay in shape/slim their shape/change their shape... In the weeks that follow, though, the regulars start to see a dropoff, as New Year's resolutions to get fit are put on the back burner for other things that come up.
