A Thousand Dollars

If I had $1,000, I would donate $800 to charity, and then I would use the leftover $200 to buy other items like food, clothing, and other necessities. If for any reason I couldn't donate the money to charity, I would just save all the money for college. Go Michigan Tech! What would you do with $1,000, Carl?

I would save it in my bank and make interest on it (social studies)! I also would take some of it to the mall and buy COACH and go shopping with my friends and buy somethings that i don't even need just because i want it!

I would probably put my grand in a savings fund with a high compiled interest rate. Even if there is no economic downturn, you need to save your money. After paying debts of corse.

If i had that money i would save it in case I don't get a scholarship for a collage and use the money that i got to get where i want to be. i want to be very successful in my life.

Let's see... 1,000$ is too big a money to spend... 600$ for college and 1$ for chips and the rest to buy a car or a motorcycle.

or 300 for college 300 for car and 300 for saving and 100 for buying Wii and Nintendo.

If I had $1000 dollars I would buy a baby monkey as a pet. Then I would donate the rest to a charitable cause such as Samaritan's Purse ,which spreads the love of God to the poor through giving them practical gifts that they could use like a goat to provide milk.

I would help the kids who live in Southeastern Asia or Africa with $500 , give my parents $200, buy as many books(for reading, and for schoolwork) as I can by with $100 and save the rest $200 for when I'm older.

I will help the poor kids in North Korea with all 1000 bucks.
(My grandfather's family is living there -if they are still alive, that is.)

I'll use it to buy a NEW cell phone and MY OWN computer and if there's any mony left, mabye I'll buy my parents a good present.

I shall give most $800 of it away to help the people who is more indigent and give my parents $150. I will buy a few books with the left $50

I would add it with my money I'm saving for a tuition next fall.

I would definitely give half of my money to charity and maybe i could go shopping and buy some clothes and stuff and the rest of them, I would probably buy something valuable such as jewelries for my mom and new shoes for my dad because my mom always wanted those expensive necklaces and things like that. Also, my dad would be happy when I give him a present. He deserve it for his hard work.

i would spend some on me and then i would give some to charity and some to my parents cause they have hepled me out so much through the year. i will also give some to the homeless and if i have any left over i would keep it for me

We watch you every day. You and your show are awesome. If I got a thousand dollars, I'd get a laptop, or video editing software. Or go to Yellowstone Park with my family by car and stay in low-cost-yet-safe motels. Think that would cover gas and cheap motels.

One thing i would do with the money is to save it for a tractor trailer because my dad is a truck driver and I want to be just like him.

I'd give some to my parents, so that they could use it smartly for bills and stuff. I'd give some to charity, and some I'd use for buying locally to help our local economy, and then I'd save some for myself and my sisters, so that we could get some of the things that we have wanted.

First off if someone just randomly handed me $1,000 dollars i would probably faint. then when i woke up i would go sraight to the bank and put half of it in there. That way i dont spend it all on stupid things. As for the other half i would buy a lot of closth and get something really nice for my girlfriend. With a thousand dollars I'd probably save most of ti for collage and such. In this economy though it might go to paying for tuition and bills with my parents. But most of it would be saved in the end. I love your show and I'm so sad to see it leave for the summer. You guys rock!!

500$ I'll deposit into a reliable stock in Japan or Korea. The rest I'll use to help my grandmother out of hospital. She had diabetes so she needed to get a surgery but after we have done it, the price is too high.
We might get sued by the hospital. 500$ would be good to put them off a little while. And if the stock suceeds, I would pay all the rest. That is if I do happen to posses 1000$....

the 1000$ will be put as a capital for the SHG, as a start it is going to be accurately studied in terms of location, demographics, type of society, and women's root problems : training, education, health, and maybe infrastructures.
long term project will be to enlarge it and make it an NGO, with the help of media sponsors ( interested in their social work image) and the support of the local population I will be able to expand divisions throught all the Middle East.
