How Would You Grade President Obama?

i think that its to hard to grade him right now. he is just doing wut he thinks is good and right for every one. so do u think that we should be grading him right now? ya he's been in office for 100 days but give him a nother couple of months

Well, right now I don't really see any changes in the economy. I am not sure what to grade him. I really wish that after a couple of months, I can see some progress.

I think that grading him is too early. He is just trying to do his plans, and we don't know the result of that. We should keep watching him and giving him our opinions to go the right way.

i think he is unfair to all the people who are trying to do the right thing by paying there mortgages when he gives everybody else money.

I dont think we should grade the president just yet because he just started his presidency we should give him a little bit more time.

Its hard to grade the president on his first 100 days. There are going to be so many thing he as to heldly that he as not seen yet. So to grade him seem to be alittle unfair. Yea he is doing good but he still has over 3 years to go and no one knows how its going to be and whats going to happen.

I do not really like the president Obama too much. I like how he is trying to help the economy, but I think he’s messing up the education system. From what I have heard, he is trying to increase the number of school hours. Is US a free country or is it becoming a communist country? Why are people forced to go to school? It should be our choice and be responsible if we don’t go learn certain education. I became very offended when I heard this about Obama.

I'd give him a C-D or 50%/50% because, like all presidents, he hasn,t made some good choices.

I think that Obama thinks he can change everything so quickly, and if that is so, he has done an awful job. I believe he should start focusing on things harder and really trying every single day to make things better in America, to help kids get loans for college and other important education problems that kids have were they can't go to college. I think he will be a good president when things start turning around, but for now I think he is just all talk, no action. He makes it seem like everything will change with him in office so quickly, but not much of anything has happened, now I am not saying he is not trying, I've never been the president and I dont know how hard it is to run the U.S but I just wish everything that he says will come true.

I think that President Obama has done okay in his first 100 days, but there really hasn’t been too much of an improvement in the economy just yet. Some may say that we need to “give it time” but I can think of a president who accomplished much more improvement in his first 100 days, FDR. The fact that FDR did much more in the face of a much larger problem shows that the current President could be doing more. GO ALPHABET SOUP!!!

Although I'm not a very big fan of Obama, he's managed to keep the U.S. from getting annihilated. We've survived Clinton's presidency, so how bad can this presidency be? I give Obama a C.

I don’t think grade at this point is worth it. Yes he has been in office a hundred days. But giving that guy a grade for how he is doing in the white house is cheese. Yes there are some things that I don’t agree with. But he has come up with a lot of good ideas for us to use. I think a lot of people are not too sure about how to handle this election so they may not be for some of the stuff but there is a lot he is bring to the dinner table.

I would have to give a c, for a couple reasons. First of all, he hasn't fufilled, or even begun to fufill the promises he made during campaigning. He's actually completly contradicted them. I would understand some of the things he promised taking time, but he has actually gone completly against them. For example, one of his major campaign promises was that he would withdraw troops immediatly. And a few days after he was elected, he sent thousands more to the middle east. Also, he has mentioned in most of the speeches and addresses he has made that he inherited this problem, and basically has blamed the Bush administration for all of the problems he's dealing with now. I believe that, even though it may partially be their fault, it isn't one person or administration that has done all of this. Obama is wrong in trying to blame others for the economic crisis- Do we REALLY want a president who spends all of his time blaming others for his problems rather than tryign to fix them?

I'm not too happy with Obama right now. Sure he's environmentally friendly and I really like that, but all this FOCA stuff really gets on my nerves.

Its hard to make a decision at this point... you cannot tell if the president is/was good enough without giving him at least a year, The stimulus plan will take a little while to show the changes in the economy.if i had no chioce to give hime a grade mine would probably be a B-C.

President Obama, since he has been in office has done an okay job. Obama has made the gas prices go down very fast, not that I'm comeplaining or anything, I must say it helped my family alot.When you live 100 hundered miles away from town and gas prices are $1.30 it helps out. He still needs to work on fixing the economey. So with that said I give him a D.

I would grade Obama a D-, because he said he'd give us change, then when? I also think that he should bring the army back from Bahgdad. my brother is in their, and i haven't seen him in three years. he keeps being sent back. Obama needs to bring the change now!

I think that the first 100 days of having Obama in office has been good. If i were to give him a letter grade i would give him an A-. I give him an A- instead of A+ is that he has been giving money away to companies that are losing all of the money given to them. The people of the United States need the money more than bankrupt buisness.

I would give Obama a D+ because he has at least took in consideration about our country's problems. Although he hasn't really helped much, he still has been trying. The only part I don't agree with his choices is that he has been using our money and the Taliban are moving into new places. The troops need to fight back. Obama needs to give that order.

I think that Obama is doing what he thinks is right for our country. We shouldn't criticize him for trying to do the right thing. He's pulling the country away from a depresion which is really good. We can't be sure even if people don't approve of it. He's doing the best he can. I think he deserves a B. That gives him room to improve or get worse. To really be sure of what to grade him I think you should ask our parents. Grown-ups are the ones who put him in the office so I want to see how they feel about what he's done. I want to see if the parents that put him in the white house regret it or if the people who didn't want him there like what he's done.

I think he deserves a B- because all he has done is weaken our defense system. He has been traveling around the world apologizing for our economy, beliefs, policies, etc.

I would give the president a B(+). It's not that I don't like president Obama, it's just that he isn't doing as much in less time. It might be impossible to be too fast, but honestly I think that the offices in which Obama chose are making him lag a bit. He is getting behind because of the people HE chose. But, I've got to say, he isn't perfect, but he's doing the best he can, and that is as good as we can say.

He has put us in a huge debt if you look at numbers compared to any president before.

A stimulus package to people that spend there money on unnecessary things is not appropriate. We're not a communism country.

The economy is worse than it was before because of the stimulus packages, they haven't helped at all, Obama has more than doubled the national debt and just keeps spending. The stimulus packages have only helped government employees and AIG, plus Fannie May and Fredie Mac. He says no one is above the law but yet Timothy Geitner is made Secretary of Treasury by Obama when he himself did not pay his taxes. Apparently, you are above the law if Obama wants you to be.

I feel that President Obama has held steadfast to his ideals and principles under tremendous pressure. He has paid close attention to both domestic, foreign and international affairs. He is moving at a steady consistent pace to improve the lives of people and to encourage their personal empowerment. People need to be patient and supportive.

Well, I gave him the grade I did because Im not an Obama Fan. With all these bailouts its hard to know if Ill get into college. Obama is putting me in debt.

I'am a Canadian from Quebec. I think that President Obama is doing an amazing job, he is doing everything fervently, with generosity, with humility, always with a smile, with a great respect to everyone . Everywhere we see him, he always uses a dignified tone to address to his auditory. He is proud to be an american and for having spoken to some of your compatriots, I felt that he was inspiring pride to the american people, and I am sure...to your neighbors from Canada. He is also great with is family and I just love Michelle ! For all these reasons, I believe that he deserves an A so far.

Economic policies will lead us into hyperinflation, because with the amount of debt we have, the Fed will continue to print more and more money. Will continue the Bush agenda and will probably invade several more countries until the empire collapses, just as Rome did.

I will give him a B- for now. He hasn't really fulfilled anything that he's said so far, but I know that's obviously going to take more time than a 100 days. Someone else on here mentioned FDR's quickness at getting things solved. But this is now, not then. There are way more problems going on now that were going on back then. They may be the same, but it's more difficult to handle and more time-pressing. Maybe if we didn't have such a slow and tedious process when it comes to passing bills and laws he would have more things accomplished right now. It doesn't help with the nation busting corruption all over the place and epidemics spreading throughout the states, that's just adding more to his already stacked plate that he's trying to desperately to clean off.

I think that President Obama has done a lot in these first 100 days. He has done more to help this country than the Bush Administration has done in eight years.

At this point in time I give him a high B. I haven't seen much change from him yet, and I don't completely agree with the stimulus. From what I've heard, some of the money in the stimulus is going to petty things like little renovations and adding pretty things to Washington, D.C. So far, it just hasn't done much good, but maybe we just need to wait for it to take effect.

I'm afraid that he may become someone like Jimmy Carter who was a really good speaker with nice-sounding ideas during campaigning and early presidency, but in the end will either mess things up more or just make zero difference. Still, there's no way to prove that yet and he is a smart person, so I'm going to wait and see how it all pans out before truly grading him.

I would give President Obama a D. He is in too much of a hurry to try to fulfill his promises and he has not thought the decisions through well enough. To tell Congress to have a stimulus plan on his desk by President's Day was not best for our country. Items in the legislation were not only not read, but not debated. It was arrogant and a travesty by both himself and Congress to pass that bill. I believe he has taken advantage of a democratic run Congress to run through very left leaning ideology.

I think he is nothing but a photo op waiting to happen. I think he is overly handled, doesn't make decisions on his own, but relies on others to do it for him.

I am sure he is a nice enough guy, would probably be fun to shoot hoops with, but I believe he was escalated as the nominee way before his time. He has made appointments to his cabinet and high positions based on political favors, not getting the best of the best.

I wish he would just stay off of Air Force One. Our country is broke. He can't afford to run around the country for photo ops. The sad thing is, he uses excessively excessive amounts of energy to go out and make a point about saving energy on Earth Day. Does he not see the hypocrisy in that? He needs to use the available technology to do his communicating. He should sit in the Oval Office and read, read, read and get all of the information before he makes decisions. I think he is a politician first and a father second, why else would he do things like releasing memos about the CIA waterboarding, giving away our secrets, and not be thinking about the safety of his two girls? I find that very sad. He would rather say he got rid of Guantánamo Bay to fulfill a campaign promise instead of protecting his daughters.

Barack Obama’s rise to fame is a mystery. He is an unknown, inexperienced junior senator with no accomplishments. There is no content to his speeches. He preaches change for the sake of change, but fails to explain in full how that change will be brought about. So i would give him a C- or D+.

Based on where we have been and where we are going as a country I think he is doing a good job. I gave President Obama between a B and a C because I believe that he is lifting the economy slowey but surely. Our economy has obviously been very bad for a long while, and everyone should agree that it is going to take years to get our economy back on track. I think that so far he has done a really great job of crawling out of our country's debt. the reasoning for the grade I gave him was because he hasn't totally finished his job, but he has four years to do so, and already were starting to get back on track

I feel President O'bama still has much to learn regarding his new position.
While he is courageous in his tackling of the economy, I disagree with his position in Iraq. While campaigning he promised to end the conflict, now it seems the war will widen into other countries. I feel he has betrayed on this issue. Also, he has made some mistakes with his nominations. A little sloppy for a head of state.

On a social level, I do feel he is trying to help the "little guy" and I do admire his efforts there.

Nothing has really changed in the economy everything is staying the same so its not getting worse but its not getting better. He has a long way to go but it is still early anything can happen.

He doesn't deserve an A just yet, but he doesn't deserve an F either. I am still shaken by the fact that the war in Iraq is still going on. I know that it's good to help others, but really, all we are doing is getting our young men and women killed. They need to hurry up and get the troops home, I have at least 4 friends who could go over. One who just turned 18 and is going into active duty. She is my best friend, and honestly I don't want to her die for her country just because the President said troops would be pulled out and it hasn't happened yet.

I give president obama an F because I think that instead of helping our country he is hurting it by putting us in even more debt than what we already need. He is following the footsteps of his predecessor, president Bush. Bush destroyed our economy and our nation, and taught Obama to do the same. He has made his mistakes and they can not be fixed. Obama does not fufill his promises, instead he makes them worse.

I really don't know what to say about Obama. I'm sure he's trying as hard as he can to fix Bush's mistakes, and that will take a while. Over all, i think he's doing pretty good?

Really, I don't think we should be grading him right now. He practicly just started his time in the office. I think we should give him a month or two, before we start saying if he's doing his job right or not. And right now I don’t really see any changes in the economy. I dunno, maybe that's just me. Maybe not. But right now, he's doing what he thinks is good for people.

I'm not sure what i'd give him. I don't really keep track with Obama or any politics. But from what i here from other people, i'd probably give him an A or a B.

Like if a company is doing badly, it is probably because they made bad choices. He should just let those companies go out of business and let new and better companies take their place. I give Obama a d- because our economy hasn't changed, he is spending us into incredible debt and other things. He has closed down Guantanamo bay and made water boarding illegal. I think water boarding is bad but if you are doing it to hardened criminals who were going to blow them selves up anyways than it is justified. Especially when they are getting information. The people down at the bay discovered a plot much like 9-11 through water boarding. They were going to crash planes in to LA and other major western cities. If we had not discovered this think what might have happened. Al-Qhida operatives are not going to crack after being questioned in a dark room by a scary person. Mr. Obama has promised to help the common "man", but some of the standards for economic help are so high, that I feel that the "common man" doesn't qualify. For example, millions of Americans are out of jobs and need mortgage help, but the standard has been set at a 730 FICO score. How many Americans who are out of jobs actually have a 730 FICO score. These are unrealistic expectations for a very real situation.

While I don't believe 100 days is enough time in office to judge him. I would give him an F. I cannot find anything that he has done right. He is closing guantanamo bay, opening peace talks with terrorists, bailing out banks instead of people, withdrawing all of our troops (I want them home but we need them there) , and somehow everybody thinks hes wonderful.

i don't think he should be so quick to bail out all of the really big companies. due to the failing economy, there are a ton of small businesses dying out,they're going out faster than the titans of industry and small businesses take a huge part in our economy. if he could channel the money in that direction, instead of the large companies, maybe things would pick up faster.

These things would help out our economy more. Hopefully things will change and he will turn our economy around, but for us being in this hard time it seems he is not making it any better.

If things turn out better (which I don't think) I will take all of this back. Let us all hope that I'm wrong

He really hasn't been a bad president or a particularly good one. He has just helped our country go down the same path it has been going down for over a year now. Honestly, I don't feel a difference in the country since he has taken office.

i give him a big d becuase people are saying that he is spending OUR money stupidley and i really dought that people want THAT to happen.

I think he is working on really making a difference and truly cares about the American People.

I think Obama is doing all he can for us. Obviously he has said he is going to put forth an effort to do some things he hasn't done yet, but we got ourselves into this mess and it didn't happen overnight. So why should it be fixed overnight? I give Obama an A.

The presidents plans make sense and seem like they can help the American people, we'll have to wait and see.

Obama has done alot in his first hundred days, but its all been bad!!! He and congress might not have to worry about high taxes, but we do!!!! He really needs to get his act together. Almost every decision he has made was bad in my opinion. I gave him an F-!!!!!

I gave Pres. Obama a B-C because while he is spending lots of money trying to help the American economy come back, he is doing it at the expense of our national debt. I like that he's trying to work with other countries to try to help their economies and ours and improve international relationships.

My hours have been cut for the last 2 months, I'm struggling to pay my bills, I'm not sure I will have full time work any time soon, yet watching my recording of inauguration day is the one thing that always picks me up when I'm down. Thank God I was there on Inauguration Day to see my president sworn in.

I want to grade President Obama, after the first 4 years. I believe he is doing what he said he was going to do (during the debate for President) beside its only 100 days. I think it's too early to grade him since he hasn't gotten anytime to fix anything yet. But if I had to grade him it would be B+ because he's done everything in his power but he could do better.

I think Obama’s doing a great job as president. Yes, it is true that we have yet to see any real increase in the global economy, but you can’t win wars overnight. All things take time and this stimulus package does as well. Not to mention he is handling the swine flu pandemic quite nicely. He also had to step into some pretty big shoes. Bush left the world in shambles, crisis in the middle east, economy is breaking, boarder control worse than ever. Now Obama has to pick up the pieces of Bush’s past mistake which will be no easy job.

I chose to give President Obama a B. For the grade I have some reasons as to why I gave him that. First of all, President Obama is handing money out to everyone that needs it which is morally ok but not economically ok. His stimulus plan is going down the drain. Obama is trying to make everyone happy, but as a president he knows he can’t!

I think Obama gets what I gave him because all he has been doing is spending money and asking for more money to spend. Our National Debt has just been increasing. When Clinton and Regan were president out National Debt has decreased steadily and efficiently over the course of their terms. Now our National Debt has only increased.

I would definitely have to give him an F. He has not helped the economy at all by spending trillions of dollars – he is just getting the U.S. into more debt. And lifting abortion laws and trying to pass FOCA? That is completely out of line! And health care? Excuse me, but this nation thrives on private heatlh care, not universal. Universal health care is incredibly inefficient. Under this system, doctors are not paid as much, so they are most likely not as skilled because there is no one to compete with. And trying to make friends with terrorists that completely hate the U.S. beyond reason? These people have marches and chant how they hate Americans and want to kill us...I don't think it's such a good idea to be good buddies with these people. So I give him an F, but if I could, I would grade him lower.

I give him an F. He is putting our generation in debt with his wasteful spending and doing nothing to help our country. Also, he is overturning restrictions on abortion; his advocacy of this murder will allow millions of more innocent children to be killed and millions more women to be scarred every year, and that's simply disgusting. I can't support or be satisfied with a president that will knowingly and willingly allow the murder and suffering of his own people.

Our class voted to give Obama an F because:
1. He hasn't done a lot to help the recession. The big bailouts aren't helping, they are only making it worse.
2. He is stealing our tax money and giving it to other people.
3. He hasn't taken firm action on many controversial issues.
4. He's sending more troops to Iraq instead of ending the war..
5. He's not concerned enough about drugs.
6. He hasn't done much to protect our country.

It has only been his hundredth day in office so for those of you people saying that he is not doing a good job give him some slack. He is doing his best to find solutions for all of the problems in the U.S. (There are a lot more problems in the U.S. then you think). For those of you that keep saying Obama hasn't done a good job i give him an F put yourself in his place then lets see who's the one complaining and getting F's from people.

I'd give him a B-. But I have to give him some credit. Somebody who wants to be elected during this horrible economy has gotta have some guts, and a plan to fix everything. He has four years to take care of this country, and I'm sure that he'll fix everything in time. But so far, he hasn't made the best choices (the bailout money...) and that's why I give him a B-.

Obama has done a pretty good job in his first 100 days in office. Being the president of the US has a learning curve. Obama caught on fairly fast. Overall i think President Obama a B+. He has done a really good job and I think that he might be able to turn our economy around. All he has to do is keep it up.

I don't think Obama is doing a good job because all he is doing is putting the generations to come in a very large debt. I think he needs to make more jobs like FDR did during the Great Depression. I think his first 100 days in office will not be his best. But, I think he is also put in a very hard position for president.

I think he's doing good right now. He's trying his best and i can see that he's putting all of his effort into the economy stuff. I mean he was only 100 days in office, thats's not enough days to already give a vote. I think maybe a few more days to see his point of view on the country will change our minds later. But yes, the economy is lacking down right now, but Obama seems like a positive president, and our country needs a postive side. So, a "B" is a good grade for him right now.

Hello I completely disagree with everything Obama has done so far. The stimulus might sound good for the next 2-3 years but when the money gets in the economy the inflation will just go up; and when our age has to pay taxes we all have to pay the consequences of his mistakes we will have a debt and situation worse than the economic meltdown that we had this year. Also spending more money than anyone in history and blaming Bush for everything is not going to fix our problems. Our country has had a democracy and capitalist government for over 200 years and was a world power, switching to a socialist government has never worked for any country our size look at USSR and Cuba???????

It's not his fault that when he got swept into office the economy was terrible and there was a war in Iraq. How would you like it if you got swept into office with problems that are here and there. For those of you that think he is doing terrible lets see you try to find solutions for these problems and make everyone happy 24.7

So far, Obama has done really well as president. Although I'll admit he has wasted some cash on giving money to everybody, I still think that this will turn out to be good in the future.

I gave him a D because first he is going back on a lot of things that he said he wouldn't do. The Bailouts are just to much. It is impossible for everyone to succeed and that's what he is trying to do. Even the money from the stimulus package isn't even getting back to us. $50 million is going for new TSA uniforms!!!! That doesn't go in a stimulus package. He always complained on how George Bush spent so much money, but he plans on spending more (while supposedly not raising taxes). I do like how he wants wind energy and how he is handling Afghanistan.

We do not feel that his foreign policy and friendly approach towards dictators will help the United States interest. His meetings with the Castro brothers, and is friendliness towards Mr. Chavez has lost him lots of creditability with a large number of people who voted for him. Cuba has nothing to offer the U.S. and we should not compromise our ideology by dealing with countries that violate human rights. Don’t overlook that the Castro brothers were in charge during the missiles crisis, and emptied out their prisons and mental institutions in the street of Miami in the 80’s. This is why many of us rate Obama very low. He said that he would not sit and have tea with the Castro’s but did even more than that. He’s off to a bad start.

I think he's about average because this is one of the first presidents that I really remember well so far. He hasn't done anything bad, but he hasn't done any exciting changes. So he's about average.

I have two opinions, first I would like to to say somthing about Obama. I think that he needs to stop borrowing money from other countries that are puting us in even more debt and he needs to stop giving out so many bailouts and he has already spent more money than Bush on things we don't need! I would also like to comment on the problem going on in Pakastan. With the Talaban moving in, this is what the U.S has been looking for. We will probaly make this as an excuse to move in to Pakastan which will not help.

I think Obama should do a better job for being president. A whole lot of people don't even like him. I'm thinking that he won't even make being president after his first term. Further more, he should do a lot more things in Iraq than just telling us what he is going to do. He shouldn't tell, he should do it. Obama focuses more on our economy than war. I think Obama has done well for the time he has been in office. What did his predecessor do in his first 100 days? Go on vacation. And the invaded a random country and get the country into debt. So he has a lot to do in 4 years.

I would give Obama an F because he is adding 20 more days of school. If he does that, there will be four bad problems for the USA.

1. The outside temperatures will increase, so people will use the AC. But the AC uses electricity. Therefore, more power plants will have power outages. The government will give more money to the power plants for more electricity, and then the tax prices will go up. Citizens will protest for their money, and the economy will go down.

2. Citizens that their lifetime jobs or job that some of their money for living are camps. If there are more days of school, camp will be cut for a smaller time. If that happens, those citizens will have to make the prize of camps higher. Citizens who go to camp will not go because they have not enough money or their kids need to go to school. The citizens who work at the camp will have less money for living because of this. Soon they cannot pay taxes to the government because they have no money. More citizens will become poor and go to jail because of this.

3. Tax prices will go up from school tax.

4. Parents will pay more because of tax problems 1, 2, and 3. Parents will have less money for food, clothes, shelter, and entertainment. Now parents need to sell all of their equipment and toys for money. Because of this, kids will go freak when their toys are sold (imagine that kids will need to sell their electronic games like Nintendo®, Playstation®, etc. I doubt that the kids will be okay with it). Later, all the money will be used up because of this. Soon kids will be put up for adoption because the parents cannot take care of the kids. Over the years, the parents will have no money for food, clothes, and shelter. More citizens will become poor and will go to jail because of this.

Overall, I would give President Obama a standing ovation throughout his first 100 days in office. President Obama has an extremly difficult task of trying to run an broken down country and is doing a fantastic job of it. He is attempting to improve the economy while trying to find solutions to problems in the Middle East, Health Care and Homeland Security. It is very important not to forget that he Obama was not the one that brought the economy into this downward spiral and he has put forth plans to turn our county around. It would be nearly impossible to be succesfull within the confines of the first 100 days in office. The first days as President he created long term plans to get U.S. troops out of Iraq. In this harsh world economy, and other problems facing America it is important not to be discuraged by the first 100 days and to realize that no great change can come without a longer amount of time. I give Obama an A for accepting a job so challenging and being able to stay calm and collected while attempting changing America.

I think Obama is murdering America's tradional people and vaules. He has lied to us saying that he was going to take our troops home but he has just put 1,000s troops into Afghanistan. He is a socailist lair, who stops the America sport of baseball, for him to get the popular vote. But in the first 100 days i think he's done almost everything right. 1. i think the bailout on te banks was the right thing to do. the banks screwed up and forced him in a position that you only have one decision to get out of. So I'm sorry if you think otherwise but if the banks go under we (the US) go under. 2. I am a student so i don't like the raise of school hours but i think with all the high school dropouts i think he has a right to worry.
Overall i think he's done a good job so i gave him a A. but i would like him to stop trying to get so much airtime and just do his job a little bit more.

I think that President Obama is trying his best right now, so I give him an A. He is trying to fulfill the “promises” he has made in order to have change for our country. Obama is new at this role as president, and with time he will get better at his job. (It is only his 100th day as President.) I am going to give Obama a C for now. He has done a good job and the economy has show small signs of improvment, but more can be done. I don't expect the economy to recover so fast, but he must think of more plans and be ready for the worst. He did handle the pirate event very well, and used the right actions. Right now, he isn't doing a good job on the swine flu outbreak. When does he expect to call this event a health emergency? You shouldnt call it an emergency when millions of people die, you have to call it now. There are people dieing every day from this disease and everyone is just sitting back and waiting for it to get worse. In my opinion, Obama has a done an average job and I'm giving him a C.

Unfortunately, I also think he is biting off more than he can chew with this stimulus package. He is trying to dish out more money that our country doesn't have to aid CEOs that are not running their businesses correctly. Also, he has been cutting programs specifically for younger generations that were used to benefit students. His platform emphasized how important education is yet he is cutting more programs. Other than that he is doing a good job. I'm glad he is helping Pakistan's government so they can fight the Taliban and I am glad he is freeing the prisoners from Guatanamo Bay.

Obama has done all in his power just in the first 100 days that have actually turned our country around. Obama is working very hard to improve our economy. In the face of international terrorism, a possible pandemic, and a suffering economy, I believe he has handled himself rather well. It is true that our economy is not in a very good position right now, but like he said, change doesn't happen overnight. I believe that if he continues to work hard and makes the right decisions, eventually we will all see the change that he has promised.

I gave the president this grade becuase I think that he is doing an ok job in office. I don't know much at all about the government, and about what Barack Obama wants to do for this country. I only learned about it in "simple form." But what I do know is that he keeps changing his mind about what he is going to do. Nobody can tell what's going to happen in the future, but we can decide what to do about certain scenerios if they do happen. I gave the president a C-D mostly becuase he is not really doing anything different than what previous presidents have done in the past. Yeah, it's cool we have our very first black president and everybody thinks he's the best choice–out of the few that ran in the election–for the position. The grade i would give President obama is B because , i think he hasn't done that many things to improve the econmy . He said that he would try to take out the troops from Iraq as early as possible, but i heard on the news that he wants to take troops out of Iraq around 2011 , which is a pretty long time . 1. Good: He is creating strong bonds with other foreign countries which could start trading between us and helping the economy.
2. Not so good: He is spending some money that we don’t have, and we don’t know if it will come back in the stock market. Also that money was being used wrongly in the companies that it is given to, such as bonuses.
3. Good: He is trying to take deal with the Taliban, also in tried to stop the Korean ballistic rocket launch which ensures our safety.
4.Good: He is trying to help the economy, and lately I’ve seen it get a bit better
5.Not so good: He is restricting the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms

The 100 Good Features
President Obama has changed the country in many diffrent ways,but some are smaller than others each one a step closer to a complete country. Recently I went on a trip to Washington D.C with my school, there was a man who lived in a small tarp tent in front of the White House. He's been there for twenty years, and has lived through many diffrent presidents. He is petitioning to have less nuclear weapons, and that day I talked to him he had said Obama was the one to sign an agreement for less nuclear bombs. Obama was the first President out of many to take that extra step and help this man and our country. All while solving the major problems the nation has been experiencing. President Obama has onehundred conflicts and priorities and he's reaching almost everyone of them, therefore I give him an A.

What bothers me is not what kids are saying about Obama, but that they can't think for themselves. Everything my friends say about him reflect off of what their parents think.

Still others would slam an "F" down in defeat as they retreat in their support of Obama due to the still-shaky nature of the market, among other issues. However, as the media gets ready to pounce on our young president, I feel his true grade is somewhere in the range of a B-. He has addressed the economy, and things appear to be getting better, but their is no way of predicting how much better our situation will become or how long it will take. His bailout money seems to have done the trick, but might have unknown consequences. He is slowly drawing troops out of the Middle East, but some situations are worsening and the Taliban is advancing in Pakistan (though the President has little control over this). Almost all of Obama's plans, however, are long-term. He is focusing on the long run, especially with environmental concern. This takes true leadership, as the people want to see immediate results. In essence, the grade given so far means nothing. Things will get better, but it takes time, if nothing else! In the truest sense, it is not a grade that Obama needs to aim for, by producing immediate results. What he is trying to do is to earn the trust of the people, so his plan can come to fruition!

I think Obama is an alright President, but out of those 100 days in office he has been out of the United States! I think he should start with our country first. We voted for him and he is not changing like he said he was going to.
