First Obama should tackle the economy with a stimulus package!

I think Obama should focus on the economy first and creating jobs. Also Obama should get us out of this recession too.

We believe that President Obama should take care of both the war and the economy. The economy is important for the American way of life. Many lives and much money has been spent on the war. Cut our loses, focus on our people.

Now, I think the economy is the biggst issue. It needs to be the first to be solved in order to make U.S.-no,the world calmer. We need to be calm in order to make the rest of the world calm

Obama should first tackle the War in Iraq. There really is no point in being there anymore. Just pull all of the troops out, and bring them home. Come on, Obama, now that there is a Democrat in office, we can actually take care of the problems that have engulfed the United States.

I believe that the first thing Obama will do is about is foreign relations. The reason is because most countries now really don’t like George W. Bush and they want to know if the upcoming president is going to be any better or not. But I also think while having meeting and talking with foreign countries he should be doing something to help out the U.S. Economy before it goes all the way to the bottom of the line.

I believe the president should focus on ending the war in Iraq so he has time to fix the economy.

Finally, some of us are worried that expectations of Obama are SO high that there's no way he can realistically carry that much weight on his shoulders.

The first thing Obama needs to do as president is start working on our economy. I believe if he can get us out of this rescission. That will help us need the war and help health care get better. Because if we have a better economy, then we can spend more money in health care.

If I were going to be president the first issue I would address would be the economy. I think this is most important because we are in a depression and people need to hear how he is planning on fixing it and getting us out of the depression. People need to hear some positive news and addressing the economy and sharing how he is going to improve it will put a lot of people at ease. There are many problems or issues that US is facing. One of the problems is in the Middle East. Another well-known problem is the economic recession. Gas prices are going up. There are also many other improvements that are needed in the US. I would say fix every problem above, and once the international issues are fixed, I would say improve the national issues such as healthcare and law and in my opinion the school.

He should start by executing his plan to get started on fixing the economy. Then after that is under control (in a couple of years) he should start withdrawing the troops from Iraq and getting them back home safely or sending them wherever they need to go.

I think that the first move Obama should make should be a move to improve the economy. At the moment our economy is failing miserably and needs attention quick. Many companies have already gone out of business and many more major companies need bailouts.

The first thing I would do is start withdrawing your troops for over in Iraq. When we got who they wanted us to get we should have left then. They asked us to leave. But no we have to act like we own the area and control their government. Did it ever come to mind to allow them to fight it out with themselves? One of my best friends lost one of her siblings to this war. There are children over there that have no parents because of us or their own government. One of my mom boss sons is in that area and he dislikes see the children as happy to get water that it was like Christmas. I am started a project to send thing over to him to give out to I need help to do it.

I think Obama should take care of the economy first because it's probably the biggest problem we're in so far. Jobs are slowly lessening, businesses are slowly depleting, and Global Warming is a threat. There are probably more people in need of money these days than in any time in history, which may come to a devastating conclusion. All our businesses could go down in flames because of economy, so the economy should be treated right away.

I think Obama should work out the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But I really think he should also work on ways to help the earth, and hire scientists to work on different sources of reusable gas, and ways to cut down on fossil fuels.

Economy is becoming a crucial issue in the U.S., starting with the gas prices. Though they have lowered in the last few weeks, they are cutting hugely into our families investments. This is something that will keep controlling our lives if it doesn't end soon. You need to talk some sense into whoever is raising gas prices. We need to take a stand. All I hear about is how the Al-Qaeda have regrouped together and are plotting once more, and if President Obama wants to withdraw all the troops out of the Middle East, then what are we to expect from them if there is no resistance overseas?

If I were President Obama the first issue I would address would be the economy. The economy has been hurting for some time now and we need to resolve this issue. Another issue would be the BCS. We need to get a playoff system for college football. I would endorse the issue but there are much more important issues to deal with.

The government class of Baptist Hill High School, period three suggests that President Obama work on jobs and immigration. All of these contribute to a faulting economy because without jobs people are not making any money, and without money they could lose everything that they own, including their cars and homes. Another disadvantage of people not having jobs is that they won't be able to pay their taxes. Immigrants tie into this because for every job that they take an American loses one.

Overall, my class felt the Economy should be addressed first and formost by the President, but also of importance is that a priority be put on research for "Alternative Fuels". This would lessen our dependency on foreign countries and also help stimulate our own nation's economy.

What I think the President should focus on is the War that’s going in Iraq. I say this because there are many men and women getting killed to protect us, and many families who miss them. Also the men and women probably don’t have any food and they are tired and want to go home. Another reason is that I think fighting back makes it worse than trying to talk to them. So to me this is what President Barack Obama should focus on when he is president.

I think that the first issue that the president needs to work on is the economy because the economy is getting worst with the years so I think that the presedent Obama needs to work more on the economy because we need the money and that’s part of the economy.

My 7th Grade students believe that Obama's top three priorities should be
1. The economy. This is because a lot of people are losing ther jobs, and because of the mortgage / housing crisis.

2. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. They believe that President Obama needs to find peaceful resolutions so the troops can come home.

3. Healthcare; because too many people can't afford it, especially in this economy.

You have the war in Iraq and you have the stock market crashing. you have money crisis with the banks and trouble with loans to go to the many americans in which need financial help. The predominant reason why he was elected to the office of the Presidency and why both houses of Congress have Democratic majorities is because the number one issue was the economy and that they promised the American people to work on that first and that the Dems had the trust and vote of the American people to do what the country needed and wanted: restore the economy to its pre-December '07 recession status and control corporations so that this never happens again. And he is doing that. Once the economy starts rolling, he can push those other promises foreward.

He is currently the worst president i have ever lived to see.
