14,528 Texts in a Month

I dont know about 400 a day lol, my average text total for one day is like, 700? Thats just a rough estimation though.

Texting really has caught on.. to everybody! Even my parents text their friends and stuff, but it takes them like 10 minutes to write one sentence. It gets quite annoying.. but it is way easier than calling the person.

I could deffinately live without texting. If I needed to give somebody a message, I could always just run over to their house. A little exercise never hurt anybody.

THERE IS NO WAY I CAN SEND 14 THOUSAND IN A MONTH THAT IS A LOT FOR A 13 YEAR OLD GRIL AND THEN LOOK AT THE BILL.

If someone does that in Korea, parents will kill her.

i do not have a phone but my dad told me i could txt from my e-mail. now i txt regularly so about 20 a day

I don't even have a cell to text with except my parents cell, and that's a Tracfone, so you have to buy minutes, which right now we don't have enough to text with. Texting can be fun, but it's easier to call the person and get in touch with them right away, unless they don't answer or something, then by all means text. Or you could just e-mail, or leave a message, but for the love of mike don't send over 14,000 in one month!

I don't even have that much time to text... I mean, what teenager does? we're in school all day (yea, guys, school where we dont text..) and i dance most days after school. so maybe it's just the people who have nothing to do who. but over the holidays.... that's a different story

Texting all the time is ok but i think there are moments when you should put down the phone and just say no. There are times like when you are talking to somebody in person about something serious when it isnt nessesary. But its fine anytime else.

First of all how does this girl have time to text all the time she must really have no life if all she does is text every 2 minutes of the day! I think that texts are bad for teenagers and adults alike. Texting can make you focus on your phone and not the road. You need to be careful of what you use a cell phone for. It can be a major problem in today’s world. I don’t have a cell phone right know and I am glad of it because have a cell phone going off every two second is dangers.

It is incredible that a person can send 14,000 text messages a month, but it just doesn’t seem possible. To reach 14,000 text messages a person must be texting at all times. Personally I don’t see how you can send that many text messages and still be able to do other things. It just seems crazy.

i couldn't ever do that. I see some people texting all day. But mostly teenagers 16-18. 13 years old and texting that much you would have to be a fast texter or just text a lot

I could live without texting but I do have to say that it's very convenient to send someone a text message especially if the other person is busy and could not get to a phone. On the other hand, young kids use it more as a social network and I can see how it can get pricey. As a teacher, I see how many students are forgetting how to spell because they use the texting spelling 24/7. If you have a phone with a keyboard, texting can be written easily.

14,528 texts is just way too much. I text a fair amount but im sure i text less in a month that she does in a day. That is just way too excesive. This even isn't the most outragous texting fling I've heard. One woman in England texted her ex every 8 seconds for six months.

I have never been much of a texting person. I got a phone 2 years ago and my mom gave 250 texts a month but i would be surprised if i used 30. I don't think i know anybody that texts uncontrollably like this 13 year old. The only thing i use now for talking to friends is Facebook.

I am a fan of texting because at times it is easier and quicker just to text something to a friend, but 14,000 is ridiculous. Teenagers are texting way much and many of them just need to get a life and stop texting. The girl on CNN news was sending a text every two minutes, which basically shows that she wasn’t doing anything else with her life. Communicating verbally is much more beneficial than communicating through a text message, and there are other things in life besides addicting text messages.

I do enjoy texting, but i wouldn't make it my life. She went a little overboard with texting. I was on a break from school too and i didn't text WAY over. Texting is something to do not a passion.

(I have prepaid) If someone is busy, a txt wont bother them, and they can just read it later, also, you can type a lot in one message, so it definitely helps if you txt!

I would think that many texts would be a waste of money. With the economy down and with that much texting for a whole month it would be a lot of trouble for some people. I would think that since the economy isn't doing too well that the texts will go down but now that most are getting unlimited I guess it's raising. Who knows? 14,000? How do you have the time to do something like that? With 14,000 texts you can say over two and a half million words. To talk that often is completely unnecessary and it wastes a month of your life. Texting is fine, just actually go out there and interact with the people you’re talking to next time.

First off texting should not control your whole life. They couldnt have any time for anything else if they are sending that many text messages out. I'm sure they dont do their work at school, do their job (if they had one), or just focus at home to do homework. I think texting is not important; if there was an emergency and you couldnt call someone you needed to get in touch with, like a Mom or Dad, because they were at work and couldnt answer your phone call, text them. Other than that just pick up the phone talk to them with voices, pick up your books and study, and lay down the phone and do something with your life, not waste it away with texting!

Wow well when i used to have a cell phone i used to text all the time but i did not know that they charged for text messages and i usually got like 120 text messages a day so the bill came and it was a 500 dollar charge for the text messages and my parents took away my cell phone and i started to get really mad i begged but they did not give it back to me and for now im cell phone less.=[

It came out over Christmas break this year that my lil sister sends approx 15,000/ month. Over the break, when she was with family "SOOOO much" and not with her friends, she neared 17,000. My 17 year old sister puts this 13-year old to shame.

Wow! My parents were surprised when i beat the everyone in my family by a landslide w/ 1000 texts in one month, but i have a blackberry. And that girl was texting on a free phone. I couldn't text all that fast on my first phone, but on my blackberry, i can text as fast as i can type, maybe even faster, and im a pretty quick typer, but 14000? That a little over the top! i think my parents would confiscate my phone if i racked up that many texts, though, I have unlimted texting! Personally, I think that sending that many text a day is slightly ridiculuos. Most people have lives! If you do know that you are sending that many text a day, then I think that your parents or whomever should do something about. YOUR ROTTING OUT YOUR BRAIN!

I definately cannot live without texting. Im a text feen thats mainly all i do. Plus i love texting in class although im not suppose to (shh) but i cant live without it.

of course i could live without texting. before i had my cell phone i did. its just that some people find it easier to say something in a text message then over the phone or in person.

I couldn`t live without texts, or texting. I couldn`t because I mumble, and can`t talk clearly on on the phone, so I use texting to stay in touch.
My friends say I sound like Ozzie on that new commercial, that's how much I mumble.

No, I couldn't because texting is how I talk to my friends over the phone because it's faster and you don't have to get annoyed with the person for talking so long and because texting is so much fun!

That is one very popular 13 year old child right there. Why would a 13 year old send or receive that many texts messages in a month? This world is getting way to preoccupied with technology, it is extremely sad. Poor parents, obvislouly this is a very spoiled child with not much grounding.
