A Smoking Debate

In many ways, Thursday's cigarette story was hard to watch.  But it featured what I thought were two interesting arguments about whether cigarette boxes should show what smoking can do to you.

One side says if the pictures shock smokers into quitting, the goal is reached.  The other side argues that officials don't put pictures of diseased hearts on fattening foods, so why should they put pictures of diseased lungs on cigarette boxes?

Where do you stand, either on the pictures or on smoking?
