If their not allowed to wear them then why do they issue the uniforms in the first place? If they have a problem with them wearing their skirts then they can just make them wear soffes underneath the skirt and roll them up so you cant see them but you know that they are there. Their making it a bigger deal than it needs to be. They should be allowed to wear their skirts.

It is not that hard to find cheerleading uniforms that agree to school dress codes. I do agree the cheerleaders should get to wear their full uniform on game days, and I think that the cheerleading sponser should have made sure the uniforms would be appropriate for the dress code before they were ordered. Why don't the cheerleaders try doing something new, like instead of wearing their cheer shells (tops) with their skirts, wear their shells (tops) with their warm-up pants. Something as simple as that could very well please the school administration. They also have to remember, not only are the cheerleaders representing themselves, but they are representing their school, and they don't want to represent badly by wearing to short of skirts.
